Beautiful room

We were in Terrace to visit family over the holidays. An incident prevented us from getting to Terrace at a decent time, so being able to self check in after midnight was ideal. We loved the room. To wake up to the beautiful view of trees outside our deck, was such a treat. It was a spacious room with fire logs ready should we need them. Plenty of towels. It was perfect. We plan to visit our family more and I think we’ve found our home away from home. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The room was very nice and clean.

I enjoyed my 5 nights here very much. It should be noted that this is not a traditional hotel. Check is done by yourself. You receive an email in advance with instructions on where to get your key. Except for the absence of a front desk or any staff, once you are in your room, you really don't notice any lack of service. The rooms are decorated in a mountain cabin style, with wood-burning fireplaces, large beds,.couches, and large balconies. The room itself was very big. Much bigger than a standard hotel room, with a modern and well-appointed washroom. Fire logs are supplied, and the rooms have good Wi-Fi, decent television, and lots of places to plug in a charger. The road to the lodge is gravel and the last little bit is fairly steep. But there is certainly enough space to park, next to the building, even if you may have to tuck in against the hillside at the edge of the dirt road. No elevators, but a single flight of stairs gets you to your room, be it up or down. I visit Terrace a lot for business and would definitely consider staying here again.

Comfortable stay.

Self check was unrxpected when I booked. Structure is on a hill and i had no idea if it was on one level or two. As it turns out the entrance is at the back. There was no lighting or signage as to where to go. Stumbled in the dark trying to find where to go. Once in, the room was fine.

It was wonderful! It was very clean, very comfortable although the pillows were a bit too thin for my liking. The service was easy and quick. The restaurant Chef Ahbi's downstairs was super delicious. You also cant beat that view! It was the best stop of our entire week long trip. I recommend the lodge for a great getaway 👌

Beautiful quiet location

A very unique and beautiful place. So quiet and very clean with comfortable beds. The size of the room was surprising, large with very comfortable couch and chairs. Nice table to sit and look outdoors. The washroom is beautiful and the shower was very nice and the towels were top tier! We highly recommend that you stay here, you won’t be disappointed! We also recommend the dining. Authentic Indian food that is so delicious, staff is wonderful and the chef will greet you.

The lodge is situated just minutes away from town, but tucked away enough to feel like you’re in the woods. Unfortunately we checked in late so were unable to try Chef Abhi’s, however, have heard nothing but positive reviews. The rooms are spacious, ours included a kitchenette area and heated flooring in the bathroom. Would certainly stay here again when in Terrace.

we loved this place will be staying again. everything was nice and clean n loved having the deck where you can sit outside. you should check this cozy lodge you will not be disappointed.

No clear way to get in to the room after hours. Terrible experience.

It was an awesome place to stay. Easy to register and check out. Spacious, comfortable, clean shower height amazing(my husband is 6’3”). Surround by trees, quiet and safe. Highly recommend

Part of me doesn’t want to share this gem of a property. So peaceful, huge room, close to the airport. Great communication with property manager. We will be back!

As soon as I pulled into the parking lot, I was met by the owner to greet me for my stay. As I open the door to the room, I was taking away on how spacious and clean it was. The grounds made you feel as if you were in your own little Hideaway away from everything. The Indian restaurant attached as well was delicious and the and the staff were helpful and friendly with recommendations. Look forward to staying there again in the near future

The location is perfect and tucked away. Also great for catching an early flight. About 5km from regional airport. Coded entry for late night checkin was very convenient. Chef Abhis restaurant right on site. Delicious Indian food. Very close to shopping and restaurants. Very Clean and comfortable. Booked through Expedia and Lodge manager communicated promptly every time. Highly recommend!

Nice big room

This is a beautiful secluded property, with very easy access directly off the highway. It has lovely grounds, set amongst large trees, comfy beds, and a very large space in the sleeping area, as well as the washroom area. We very much enjoyed our quiet hideaway.

Perfect for a pre-flight stay

My husband and I wanted to get out for the night and have a date night. This hotel was the perfect place to go for one. It is a beautiful hotel. The restaurant was very good, and highly recommended by locals, it was an Indian cuisine. We stayed in room 12 which had a king sized bed, fireplace and a huge price balcony. Will definitely stay there again.

What a magical spot, yet so close to everything! We were warmly greeted & upgraded to a bigger room, and given logs for fireplace. The mattress was exceptional, the room cozy yet luxurious (a rare combination!), and the heated stone floors in the bathroom an unexpected surprise. A wonderful stay — highly recommend!

World-class Comfort on a Budget

We were so surprised by this beautiful hidden gem in Terrace BC! Affordable but absolutely comfortable and clean in a magical tucked away spot close to everything! Outside our room was a cliff side covered in evergreen forest—and the room itself was absolute perfection, with tasteful, homelike decor. We felt like we were at a world-class retreat—and we will definitely be back!

Got into the airport at 11:46PM. Had reservations to be picked up by the one and only cab service. It took 2 hrs to finally get a cab. The staff at the lodge was trying to help us out at 1:30 AM. Made sure we finally got to the lodge. Rec not using a cab after hours because they suck!

It is a custom built property not another block of concrete rustic decor large rooms

Great place to stay quiet and clean

Nicely placed in forested area, very quiet. Restaurant with separate entrance, the fire place gave off a steady burning smell and the shower had low water pressure, yet we liked it as soon as we opened the door. Contactless check in went great and Doug was pleasant and quick to respond with any questions.

Tv channels were limited and although I really enjoyed the restaurant, the smell from it in our room wasn’t the best

Really beautiful property with clean, spacious rooms. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and wish I could have stayed longer. Doug was very communicative and provided detailed instructions as to how to check in on our own. Finding the entrance is a bit difficult, but once found it is easy to get in.

Loved the big spacious room and the bed was extremely comfortable.

This Lodge is nicely hidden away in a forrest setting but yet minutes from down town Terrace. Rooms are fabulous, very spacey and well kept. The only criticism I can make were 2 items in my particular suite. The bathtub, while it was equipped with modern faucet and shower head,it would not drain properly as if it was is an airlock. Secondly, the deck light had an old bird nest on it and there was some moss growing on the concrete deck patio. These two items did not take away from the very pleasant and satisfying experience we had. I highly recommend The Lodge at Skeena Landing to anyone needing a place to stay while in Terrace.

The Lodge at Skeena Landing is perfect. It's quiet and tucked away. It's truly a hidden gem. We loved the feeling of coziness our room had. The self check in was nice, the instructions were easy to understand. The only thing I would suggest is offering breakfast, completing the feeling the lodge gives of being a bed and breakfast. We will most definitely stay again while in the area.

I stayed in one of the largest hotel rooms I have been in in a long time. Nice features like firplace (not gas) and heated tile floor in the bathroom. View from the room was interesting forest and steep cliff, listened to the sounds of birds and squirels which was nice. The room was quiet, with no traffic sounds. There was a little bit of noise when people were in the foyer. Loved the self check in. Small fridge with freezer and kuerig coffee maker, no microwave. Overall, I was really impressed with this "hotel" (actually felt more like airbnb). I would definitely stay here again.

The stay was amazing. The bed was super comfy and big, the room was quite large as well wwith a good tv and a loveseat and a small chair a nice updated bathroom and a really nice shower as well. It was a very nice room, especially for the cost. The only complaints I have were in regards to the cleanliness of my room. The floor was t vacuum, the were beer bottle caps on my floor from the last person that stayed in there, dirt and other stuff on the floor that a vacuum wouldve easily picked up. The room hadnt been dusted either as there were also cobwebs all over the rock wall, and the screen door leading out on to the patio wasnt attached and was leaning against the sliding glass door. Aside from that, the stay was wonderful. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely room, in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed the night we were there, so had to drive into town for dinner, as there are no other restaurants in walking distance.

This is an absolute great hidden gem. The room was great but the scenery was fabulous, made you forget that you were in a city. Will definitely rebook if we head back out that way.

It was like having the forest at your door. Room was large and furnished with big comfy home sized furnishings. Just out of town enough you need a car, but overall an easy commute.

We were in Terrace for work, after working all day and getting to our room we had no where to park, and when we tried to heat up some food, discovered the room had no microwave. we called to order food from the restaurant at 840pm and were told they close at 9 and are not taking any more orders

Lodge is quiet and close to everything by car

Room was well kept and quiet the contactless check in check out was nice and the bed and pillows were good. Faint curry smell from the downstairs restaurant but not enough to make you things smell.

A great experience! The self check in was seamless and straightforward. The room was clean and the heated floor in the bathroom was a feature we never had in a hotel before. Overall the quality is way over to the price point.

it was my first time staying at the Lodge. i was in town on business for 2 weeks. The communication leadingnup to my stay was fantastic. With covid restrictions in place they werent cleaning rooms daily. in lieu of this they provided extra ammenities and offered room cleaning upon request when needed. every few days there were extra amenities on a chair ourside my room. it was one of the best hotel experiences ive had. highly recommend this hotel. oh and Chef Abhi restuarant in the hotel is amazing too!

Stayed there 2x before and this was my least fav room and but still better than any hotel in the area and quiet with large rooms.

I like the trees all around and close to hiking trails and River. However, it is still close to stores. I like the coffee shop, hair salon and little shops nearby. Wonderful place. Wish I could have eaten at the restaurant.

Room was big enough, nicely furnished. No housekeeping and room air was musty and smoke scented.

Cleanliness

The first night I was there there was flies everywhere in the room and the second morning I moved a cushion on one of the chairs and found a pair of dirty panties that certainly didn't belong to me

It was a beautiful stay. I have stayed at alot of places in Terrace,BC and this is the nicest.
