Got into this property for few hours stay.Rooms badly need redone. Poor service Food quality is terrible I would not recommend this place

Good hotel i don't understand why bathroom should have 2 doors also blinds should be removed from the room and have wall to wall and ceiling to floor curtains the blinds wakes you up too early since the light comes through

Good swimming pool, gym and spacious walkways. Chef Karan, Chef Ramesh, Duty Manager Mohit Saraswast, Rahul, Sandeep Saini, Vipin Pawar, Gudiya, Restaurant Manager Rakesh all are outstanding Staff always looking to make dining and accommodations experience the BEST! Food is authentic Rajasthani, Pan Indian, and continental full of nutrition taste. I came for 2 night but extended for several more nights! Deserve all 🌟

Worse service in Jaipur

Airport pickup and drop is a pain to arrange with them, had to call thrice to get it. Drop car was in miserable condition, an auto would be better than the condition of the car. Hot water in bathrooms comes after 10min of running water and this as well is lukewarm. Service at breakfast is pathetic,wait staff are talking to each other more than serving guest. There is a I don’t care attitude in the staff except the young ones. They need an overhaul for sure. Not good for a business trip and a holiday will surely be ruined too

The property was extremely dated, i.e. it was falling apart in lobby areas and rooms. In the lobby, sofas were in poor condition. In the room, the mattress was old and in poor shape so as giving back pain; the safe was not working,and furniture was falling apart

Everything was ok just lacked the 5* element. Breakfast was the best bit but service lacking - front of house at breakfast grumpy; lack of attention to detail ie missing cutlery and our tables was reallocated to someone once we went up to get our food! Took some time to be allocated our rooms as they weren’t ready despite it being 230pm (check in is at 2pm.) Rooms lacked adequate towels. Nice gym but again changing rooms lacked towels had to be requested. Bathrooms need deeper cleaning. Overall was an ok stay but could do with more attention to detail to live up to a 5* standard

Very nice property and conveniently located. Great items in breakfast buffet, but service was very slow. Many staff members don’t understand or speak English well, so Thea’s hotel able to provide good concierge service beyond bag handling.

Dirty room not been cleaned. Linens were used. No floor and hand towels available. Left behind watch charger, requested to send it by courier with charges I will pay but till date no received. No one attending calls. Totally mismanaged

I would say the hotel is fine. However, the shower was dirty and very moldy and the mattresses were old and sunken in the middle.

Limited breakfast choices and no hotel functions

Didn't get the value for money i paid for. This is because the function at the courtyard, pool and bar was closed. The breakfast choice was limited. Also the staff were nagging for excellent review when I was trying to have my morning breakfast in peace.

The place should have some in hotel activities or Fun zone specially for kids .

Great hotel in Jaipur close to shopping and food

Very beautiful hotel with an amazing lobby and courtyard with a marble island. They had excellent breakfast buffets and dinner choices. The rooms were well kept. The hotel also had performances in the courtyard in the evening and was a delight to watch. Great 5 star property with good value for money

Great food at their two restaurants. Very hospitable staff. Rooms were very clean. Good concierge service. Heartily recommend to anyone traveling to the area.

Very much in appropriate fooding and services from the hotel side. We found hairs in food and breakfast buffet was very poor. Would never like to visit these kind of property in future. Lalit is spooling it’s name but having these kind of services and staff.

Worst customer service one can imagine, doesn't give toilet roll, shampoo, towel after multiple requests. The walls are very thin and the hallway is very noisy. We stayed there for 4 nights and couldn't sleep at all. We complained in the hotel reception but nothing was done. Absolutely the worst experience at one of the most expensive hotel.

Well taken care of community areas, rooms slightly less so. Not dirty, but not impeccably clean. Bed was not all that comfortable and it was definitely noisy, but not an overall unpleasant stay.

The toilet jet spray was leaking, the toilet sliding door jammed. I had to call the front desk to report one issue or the other. The women in the front desk lacked courtesy and manners. I am surprised that some of the staff lacked professionalism. Overall experience, don't recommend or go to lalit again

Luxurious but need service improvement

Good and Luxury place to stay may be one of the best hotels in terms of comfort during my trip to India However the restaurant service need to be more profesional. Taking too long to get your food. Housekeeping also needs improvement as yheybdo not always clean the rooms properly. Also the corridors are too noisy during the nights. But the hotel and rooms were luxurious

Stay was good overall. Staff was helpful. Only thing was food we had breakfast and one night went for dinner, it was not up to mark. No where close to 5* standards. Rest was fine! We enjoyed our stay.

The property is nice and kept well and the bed in the rooms very comfortable. That said, the staff throughout the stay were miserable, inattentive and slow to respond, they also failed to answer basic questions. The temperature of the hotel was freezing, people were having breakfast wearing coats. They ran out of bread one morning and cooked eggs outside so plates were instantly cold. Overall this was anything but a 5 star experience! We were informed of cake to celebrate our honeymoon that never appeared. Thoroughly disappointing stay that will put me off the LaLit range in future

The bed was horrible, sagging in the middle because of a worn out mattress. No hand towels.the staff was not able to cope up with the breakfast rush, not enough tables, the persons making the omelets and dosas were frazzled. Not worth the money.

Great place for family stay, nice service throughout, good variety of breakfast. Nice swimming pool and change rooms. We even purposely left a water bottle fan in the room because it was partly broken and we immediately got a mail from hotel staff that our item is with lost and found.

A very good experience staying in Lalit Jaipur ! They should improve their variety of food in the breakfast. Otherwise everything was good.

Outstanding service and personalised attention. Very helpful staff at every level from hotel entrance, through the warm welcome, through check-in, room-service, restaurant and the chefs. Highly recommend going to Baluchi which is the best restaurant and deservedly so. We just loved our stay and would gladly stay there again in the future. They have a fantastic pool area and one of the best hotel gyms we have ever seen. A most memorable experience!

nice staff, room is a bit old

staff are helpful and efficient, but room is a bit old, one pillow got the smell of perfume and others 3 don't have this smell.

Choose a different hotel if you have the choice

Disappointing 2 day stay with poor service - issues with std of cleanliness having to change rooms twice upon checkin. Duty manager and team very apologetic but the stay didn’t improve greatly! Would have checked out had it not been for the fact that we checked in after 11pm and our for most of the second day. Management didn’t meet me despite two attempts and referred to duty manager who had no real authority to do anything.

Very convenient near airport. Good food. Only negative was that staying over New Year’s Eve included a mandatory expensive fee for dinner and festivities. Was not apparent on website. Should be possible to opt out.

Ideally located, well appointed rooms, excellent and corteous staff, nice restaurant. The ambience outside is one thing which can be looked into and improved upon. Lot of construction sites around which are an eye sore to an otherwise pleasing stay. Hotel could use some plants and small trees on the terraces which can maybe form a screen. Thanks

Well the hotel was good but the breakfast as in the the complimentary buffet in the morning was not good. I travel very often and compared to Lalit other 5 star hotels offer huge variety but other than that it was good experience at THE LALIT jaipur and spa was amazing!

Never pick up their phone

My flight from Jaisalmer yo Jaipur was canceled the day itself and I have an 6am flight the next day to catch. After a crazy bus and train hopping i managed to get to Jaipur at 2AM. Throughout the day I've tried to call the hotel to arrange train station pick up but they never answered the calls. My friend helped call them again and they finally picked up. I'd expect faster and better response from a 5-star hotel.

Close to the airport and a nice clean hotel. Staff were also very welcoming and helpful.

Everything was good, we liked our stay. Exceptions were very few. One food pricing even by US 5 star hotel looks cheaper. On our second day breakfast, may be due to weekend rush it was atrenged in another restaurant in fast floor, and which was not equipped to serve buffet breakfast, everything was cold, service was too late. Management needs to look at this, we were disappointed. Second thing is swimming pool size, it was too small and just ~4ft deep, not at all suitable for adults.

One of the worst experiences ever. The hotel staff is so crooked, they want to Rob the costumer blind. They charged us money for using towels, and seriously it was ridiculous and when asked to speak with a manager three different staff claimed they were the managers. Being Foreigners in that country, we thought it was better to pay for using towels and avoid the drama it could've brought.

Showers need repairs

Staff were all very good. Both at hotel & especially at the restaurant. Our showers were in bad shape. Leaky. Upon request we were given 2 other rooms but were almost as bad. Upon mentioning our experience to front desk we got a small apology, that’s about it...poor way to handle a unhappy customer.

Disappointing

Let’s start with broken glass around the pool. The attendant did not even try to sweep it up, just picked up the pieces pointed out to him. Reflexology offered but when you try tp book it, the price tripled. Wine is outrageously expensive. Ordered LIIT and got regular ice tea. Sent it back, got the correct order but was still charged for the iced tea. Was told once they print the bill, they cannot cancel it. What rubbish.

Hotel was close to the airport. Was nice and clean, but the internet was very poor.

In the first glance the property looks grand and perfect to be a 5 star but as the day passes we felt many glitches in the services and since I was there with my family which included a 2 year child, the Sevice could have been much better.. it’s the services in a hotel which make the property a 5 star and not the size and look of the property alone.main problem areas-the staff look arrogant and take no initiatives to come and greet leave alone to ask if you need any assistance. Housekeeping is terrible. Food quality is very low in taste as well as presentation. Restaurant staff only will assist you until you are have given your feedback on their tabs otherwise they were very uncorncerned about our presence.

Not worth the price

I rarely write a negative review but an oversized room doesn't mean it's a luxury experience. Outrageously noisy - even by Indian standards and disinterested staff. Sorry, Lalit, but you've lost my business.

Satisfied, but not close to tourist attractions.

This was my fifth trip to Jaipur in 13 years, but the first time I had stayed at the Lailit Jaipur. The hotel is almost new, with a spacious foyer and good quality restaurant. In the past I usually always stayed in the centre of town, close to the Wind Palace and the City Palace. The Lailit however is far from the centre of town and is close to the northern outskirts by the airport. probably 20-30 minutes from the centre, depending on the time of day and traffic. In that regard it not an ideal tourist hotel. Other than that it is very modern and new. And the restauarant was very good, and the staff very attentive.

Classy elegant hotel

From the time you walk into the lobby, you are impressed by this hotel. Hands down, the best hotel I have stayed in. It exudes quiet elegance. First hotel to have a full fledged gym. Outdoor heated pool is awesome. Breakfast was quite a spread and very delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

You've just won me over

Spent three nights here as the final leg of our Rajasthan vacation and it was a fantastic experience. Superb property, large sized modern rooms. very friendly and courteous staff and a great breakfast to start our day on the right note. We loved every moment we spent at the hotel and would come back here in a heartbeat. Just one suggestion to the management, please make WiFi internet available 24X7. There is no reason for a hotel like yours not to have it.

Good hotel, bad service

Little things that make up a good experience were missing- eg no hot water in the shower. There was no hair dryer in the deluxe room that cost more than 14k INR (200$ USD). Service is tardy and gives you the impression that they just don't care. Hotel location is not great, basically close to nothing. It's to the South of Jaipur, about 20-30 minutes away from the City centre. Overall rating: just not worth your money.

Unpleasant stay

Rather a noisy hotel with lots of weddings taking place everyday. Lobby was pleasant but noisy. room size was good with good shower but the place needs updating. The 5 star rating is overrated for what it was. the first morning we went for breakfast, ordered an omelette, my wife found a piece of metal, what looked like half a metal ring in her omelette. We made sure what it was by examining it carefully before reporting it. The managers were walking around, but had no courtesy to come and apologise. The only person felt bad to an extent was the waiter serving us who offered to replace it. This is not what you expect from an expensive 5 star hotel.In fact it put us off completely for rest of our stay. I can't see us staying here again in the future. The other drawback was the wifi was chargeable beyond one hour and this was suppose to be 5 star hotel
