The Laguna is an incredible resort in Nusa Dua. We've had the best week getting spoiled here. The pools, beach, rooms, and staff were incredible. A few shout outs to; - Sweety at Kulkul who introduced us to Arak, the spirit of Bali. - The staff at the Lagoon Spa who provided us with an afternoon of total relaxation. - Ryan, Indra, and team at Banyubiru for great service, conversations, and delicious breakfast. - Widy for great service on two nights at Arwana. - Oka and others for amazing beach and pool side service. - Plus so many others who made our stay stress free. We also appreciated the extra security, our check in/out experience, luggage, airport transfer, room service, laundry, activities, etc. We were especially grateful for the resort allowing us to stay and use the pool/beach/spa well past checkout since we had a late flight out. I would highly recommend staying at the Laguna as you explore all of what Bali has to offer.

Wonderful magical

I came to the hotel as part of a Viking post cruise tour, but stayed on several days on my own. The hotel is absolutely exquisite. I can’t think of a bad thing to say about it. It is right on the Indian ocean there are amazing pools that thread their way through the gardens with waterfalls and one can swim all around the whole property it’s wonderful, the staff are so sweet just lovely. If you stay there, I’m sure you will have a wonderful time and the food is divine.

Nice and amazing

Nice and amazing but two important minus 1) there is many limitation for smoking people; 2) in each bill there is a service fee. You have to pay for it even if you don't like the service.

Staff is nice and friendly, small room, mattress was too firm caused soreness when waking up, balcony sliding door doesn’t close all the way leaving gaps for small bugs to easily enter. Lots of spider webs and spiders above the crown molding. Housekeeping did a good job but saw a couple bugs in the room which is hard to eliminate due to the sliding door. The pool was very boring, no music, no atmosphere. Dining options were average, property is right on the sand beach. I left the resort every night and had dinner at other neighboring resorts. Every resort that I went to was nicer than Laguna. The Kempinski is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever seen. I believe it might be a 6 star which makes Laguna a 3/4 star. If Kempinski is only a 5 star resort for Bali, then Laguna is a 3 star hotel. I was upset to have seen them Kempinski and Laguna were the same price when they were so far apart in terms of elegance. Laguna is an okay resort, but I’d never return and there’s no way it’s 5 star. This is 3.5 star at best.

A very nice property. Well maintained and clearly well managed. Additional food choices on the resort (additional a la carte) menu items would be terrific. Recommended.

Excellent resort with great service & amenities. The buffet breakfast is fantastic. Lagoons around the property adds to the tropical luxury. Not a lot of nearby dining options outside of the resort though

The staff was very personable and professional. Top excellence customer service. Just to name a few staff, Ryan from the bar, Dimas in housekeeping. They treated me and my family like we were family. Love it there. Will definitely be visiting there again.

This resort is so appealing to the eye! The ambience alone is beautiful. Everyone there is pleasant. Not one staff member I’ve seen did NOT have a smile. Very quiet and relaxing kind of resort so if your looking for any party resorts this isnt the one. Not to mention the food is great hands down! There wasn’t not one dish that I’ve tried that I did not like

Staying at the Laguna was the best hotel experience of my life. The food, the cocktails, the service, the facilities… everything was impeccable!

The moment we entered this hotel we felt like we’d walked into paradise. The resort is maintained so well, the staff are incredibly lovely and no job is too big or too small for them to assist with. We had a very early morning flight when we were leaving which meant we left the hotel before breakfast. The staff organised us a taxi and had packed a breakfast box to take with us. The hotel offers 6 pools and a beach to enjoy. We were torn between two hotels and opted for the Laguna and were extremely pleased we did. In order to make your stay perfect, I would pay attention to the breakfast timings advertised as going earlier is a calmer more enjoyable experience. Pool side loungers fill up very quickly, if you’d like one here make it a priority.

Luxurious resort which was perfect for relaxing after spending several days in busy Ubud. Dining options were very good and we took advantage of the beach club happy hours! There are several pools to swim in so you don’t feel crowded at all. The beach was beautiful but only swimmable in the morning as the tide goes down significantly after noontime. The hotel is in a gated area so it is very safe to walk around. Loved our stay here!

Very beautiful and well kept resort. Everybody was friendly and always had a smile on their face. Housekeeping was amazing at making sure room was kept cleaned. Food and location was great and had many different areas to shop and dine. I also felt really safe and enjoyed the privacy that came with the nusa dua beaches

This hotel has excellent standards in everything and I love staying here. As a regular gym user it would be great to have a rowing machine.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay 7 nights. We found the resort peaceful and quiet it could have been because of the low occupence of our stay, We are a couple in our 60's. big thanks to Fila and Yusi for there warm greetings at the Sapphire bar also to the young tall man at breakfast who's name I can't remember he ran is section wonderfully and the breakfast is one of the best. The cons there were a couple of times the service was a bit lacking but the staff were always very apologetic and friendly and resolved any issues quickly. We always got greeted with a good morning or afternoon by the staff. My wife is a fuss eat and the is a bit lacking but we just use the sister resort for some meals. We would stay at this resort again

Great resort in Nusa Dua

A true resort property. Food options were great. Spa and front desk staff were amazing. Beach area was quiet and family oriented. The room and the balcony views were great. Bed was comfortable and room service was excellent.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Laguna, our room which had the Access to the pool was beautiful and clean. The staff were very friendly and nothing was a problem for them. The breakfast staff remembered us each day and made special smoothies just for us, would definitely go back

The staff is amiable and welcoming. I highly recommend this resort. My room was spacious and clean and overlooked the saltwater lagoon. I greatly appreciate the staff decorating my room for my birthday—it makes me feel very special. I also appreciate the early check-in and late check-out at no additional cost. Comfortable hotel, beautiful grounds, lovely service

We stayed in 3 hotels in Bali. This was our first stop and we had a great stay. It really is a place to kick back and enjoy the sun. There are plenty of loungers around both the pools and the beach - something we struggled with at other hotels. The food and breakfast was great. It was our honey moon and the room was made up with the swans and a treat. All the staff were friendly and helpful. You can walk down the beach for many kilometres and visit other hotels and have dinner somewhere else. The golf course is just outside The Laguna and I’d recommend playing a round of you are into that. It’s a great location if you want to relax but also well situated for touring the south of the island. Uluwatu is a great place to visit.

Beautiful hotel and resort, with amazing friendly staff and awesome food. The only thing that was missing was entertainment, only one weekly show that went for 20 minutes. Evenings were quiet there, so depends what you like.

Balinese At It’s Best

This hotel has been recently renovated and the rooms are not only beautiful but very comfortable. The resort got Rounds are extensive with pools everywhere. Very short walk to the beach where we spent our time. There are a large number of chaises with umbrellas at both the beach and poolside, along with cabanas to rent. Beach food and drink service is accessed by pushing a button table side and response is very quick. This resort is modern but has kept the Balinese feel in its lobby and surrounding grounds. Would definitely recommend staying here when in Nusa Dua.

Great servics Great Food

Great resort, beautiful design, brand new rooms, too many fantastic fresh and salt water pools and lagoons. Many options for dining and drinks. Staff were fantastic and so nice. The area and the fact that both sides of the resort are two other beautiful resorts, makes it great to walk around and additional dining and drinking options. We stayed at a lagoon view room in 2nd floor and it was fantastic with a great view, quiet environment and very much private. The additional programs like the Balinese dance and fire show complemented our stay in last night.

Beautiful hotel, super clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The number of pool areas is a great advantage and the salt water lagoon is a little haven of tranquility! Breakfast buffet options are great and the quality of the food was excellent. Our only flaw was that people would go to the main pool early morning to put towels on beds and then not appear to use them until the early afternoon. The hotel policy states that if it’s not used within an hour then towels will be removed - this really was not followed.

The staff was amazing and Staff was very helpful. It’s a very private resort not too many guest to bother you.. Highly recommend.

People are friendly and dedicated to their job

I bought the vacation in this hotel for my mom and she was amazed by the hotel and its territory, said it is indeed luxury. She honored specifically Daria, the hotel staff, who was super helpful and welcoming. The only thing is the ocean low tide is very far, literally makes it impossible to swim during the day, but well, there are several pools in the hotel, and it's mostly on that coast, not only there, and it's fine in the morning and evening.

The service was excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The resort felt very safe.

This hotel and area is absolutely beautiful. As close to paradise as I can imagine. We only stayed for two nights but if we ever come back to Bali we will be staying here the whole time.

Wonderful Staff, especially at breakfast, pool staff, reception, tour bookings. We had a fabulous holiday.

The resort mostly focused on big events and not their regular guests. Every day they would have weddings or something else and they would be yelling until 10pm or later. No activities for the guests at all. Also breakfast is the same every single day. Besides that everything was good.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Very well kept, friendly staff and convenient location. Walking distance to the mall and waters blow. The food at the hotel was great. The only comment I would make is that when booking online and paying extra to include breakfast and dinner I thought everything was included. At the hotel I was informed that drinks was not included with dinner and had to pay that separately. It would be ideal to make that a little clearer when booking. Other than that our stay was exceptional and highly recommend.

Modern Decor, Well Maintained with Great Service

This resort was recently refurbished. The landscaping and grounds are amazingly well kept. There are so many spots you can just hideaway and relax with pools everywhere. There didn't seem to be a lot children staying so it was generally tranquil and peaceful. The breakfast was great along with other meal services. The gym was modern and extremely well maintained. I have stayed at many places in Nusa Dua before. The Laguna will be where I book next time if the rates are reasonable.

We loved the friendly staff, the large open gardens, the many pools to swim in and the access to the beach. Our room had beautiful interior and they cleaned our rooms twice every day with free complimentary water. All you needed to do was ask! Our first point of contact was Maha and he made sure to say good bye to us also! He was very sweet and made sure we had what we wanted. This was a great vacation with my sister and is perfect for families, couples or singles also. The beach is on the doorstep of the hotel and it’s many restaurants/bars so you could easily explore the entire coast if you wanted to. We are really sad we had to leave. Thank you for having us.

Laguna is an excellent resort - wonderful service and staff, 5-star setup, restaurants and right on the beach. could not recommend more highly, we will be back next year.

We had a fabulous relaxed stay at The Laguna. The pool area was fabulous - never too busy and always a lounger available. The beach was also lovely and we enjoyed using the hotel bikes for a trip along the beach to look at other hotels in Nusa Dua. We tried all of the restaurants. Breakfast had plenty of variety as did the buffet dinner. The beach side restaurant had great service and a nice menu. Our favourite was probably Kul kul which had a lovely vibe for lunch and a relaxed dinner. Rooms were a nice size, with a great shower. Plenty of fresh drinking water was provided. The resort is lovely and polished, however it doesn't feel like the real 'Bali'. If you come here, make sure you go and explore other areas to experience more of the culture and vibe in different parts of the island.

We booked this hotel for our honeymoon and it was incredible! Gorgeous property! Breakfast and staff is spectacular, the rooms are clean and newly refurbished. It has private access to the beach, and is enormous. Pricier than the other hotels but definitely worth it. Very family oriented as well so definitely something to consider if you’re looking for a romantic getaway or something with the family.

Having stayed at the Laguna a previous 4 times we love coming back. As well as top class facility's it's the staff which really draw us back. Is like coming home to the warmest of welcomes from those we know and those we don't. Everything was beyond my expectations. I have stayed many hotels and resorts around the world, and this is one of the best. Also, location, staff, rooms and the ambiance of whole resort was beyond my expectations. Only negative was new restaurant which is extremely expensive even comparing with good restaurants in Melbourne!!!

We were aware of the ongoing refurbishment during our stay, and were not effected by it other than the reduction of the options to eat at. The service was as expected as we had stayed there before. The only place that was able to serve Breakfast, Lunch and dinner was somewhat overwhelmed by the number of guests and could not keep up the high level of service, expected

3 days, 2 nights; ate in 3 different restaurants. Good food, heavily themed toward Indonesian and Indian flavors. Extremely polite, friendly and considerate staff. Excellent accommodations with many extras.

Newly renovated room, with direct lagoon access. High cleaning standards and friendly service. Great location on the beach, with amenities nearby. Accommodated a late checkout as our departing flight was late in the evening.

The checkin was flawless, eventhough i flew in in the middle of the night, a nice cold fruit juice, grest room upgrade, after 30 hours of flight the treat was greatly appreciated! The brrakfast buffet was really amazing with more than 6 stations, a part from the udusl there was a fruit jiuce station, asian fusion, etc. All served with immense kindness, i was told typical of Bali.

Property exceeded our expectations in all departments. The food and service was outstanding. The landscaping, gardens and pools are meticulously maintained creating an idyllic backdrop to a Balinese holiday

Highlights of The Laguna * wonderful, helpful, friendly staff, most are long term employees * Breakfast buffet was massive with so much variety * Lagoon studio, pool access room, large spacious and renovated beautifully, book early only 8 of these room types * Epicurean discovery, (cooking class) going to seafood markets and then cooking 3 meals with their experiences chef Ketut, you can book this with Itan, wonderful experience, with so much seafood to have for lunch.
