Attractive and conveniently located. Good breakfast, pleasant staff, great value. Usual noise from town centre property, lack of gold member room upgrade was disappointing but standard room was well finished and great for the price.

Disappointing

We have stayed at the Josephine Hotel many times but this stay was a little disappointing. The room clean but the bed was not remade when the room was serviced. The air conditioning and T.V hardly worked properly during our stay. Mini was empty except for 2 bottles of water even though there was a price list. We will try another hotel next time.

A super hotel

A terrific hotel with friendly welcoming staff . The junior suite was amazing equipped with everything for a great stay The hotel is in a superb location , two minutes from the beach and 2 minutes from the shops and restaurants. Diana and Angel two receptionists are amazing . They are knowledgable, efficient and friendly.

Location was great. Parking is problematic. Tip by the Municipal market is a public car park for€2 for 24 hours. Plenty of spaces in the evening.

It is just one block behind Larnaca Marina. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Quite old town walking. Very good location and price to stay.

Short overnight stay in transit. Staff were extra helpful and service was superb. Breakfast box made up for us as we had an early flight. Comfortable room. Fantastic value for money. Would stay again.

The hotel staff is very friendly the rooms are spacious and clean the location is excellent and convenient the breakfast was good and tasty.

2nd time we stayed at Josephine, lovely hotel, great location, staff lovely and a nice roof pool. Only minor issue was breakfast found it a bit meh for a boutique hotel, imo needs to improve it. It was exactly the same offering as last year, apart from that small black mark a great hotel.

В целом хороший отель в своей ценовой категории. Вид из номера на крыши соседних домов. Уборка ежедневно с утра. Море буквально за углом. Рядом много магазинов и ресторанов. Завтрак однообразный, но вполне себе для Европы. Несмотря на то, что отель находится в оживленном месте, в номере сравнительно тихо. Хотя, балконные двери лишены замков. Менеджеры на рецепшене дружелюбные , однако, за два дня мы заказали ланч бокс, напомнив об этом за день до выезда. К нашему удивлению и разочарованию, при чек ауте нам было сказано, что мы ничего не заказывали. В целом, отель можно рекомендовать людям без особых претензий.

Stayed at the hotel a few times I can honestly say the customer service is brilliant Ant hotels nice and clean. The stand for welcoming is plenty of restaurants and shops around walking distance from the hotel.

Impressive property and good value

Good hotel to stay for a few nights

I liked the set up of the hotel it was close to the beach and restaurants- a couple of minutes There is a roof top pool The only down side was where we were at the side of the hotel our balcony faced a road that could be a bit noisy and busy at night Not a problem if you’re not a light sleeper!! Would stay again and recommend to others

Spot in

Stayed here as we had tickets for Tom Jones perfect location right in the middle of town. Pleasantly surprised nice big room and really comfortable I have to say! Defo stay here again!!

Above and beyond

Wonderful stay at an excellent hotel with great staff.

Easy hotel to get into and locate. Parking off site, but a 3 minute walk and wasnt too hard to find or walk from.

Short stay in Larnaca

Have stayed here several times visiting family and also to holiday. Staff could be more helpful and accommodating on reception. Accommodation and location good for all local bar, restaurants and beach. Nice Roof top pool and very comfortable beds

Great location, clean and staff friendly. Bed comfortable. Room spacious. Pool staff and towels not available till late morning. Pool deck was open tho.

I was surprised as the hotel in good location, clean, the roof with the pool also nvery nice, so everything is very , maybe except th ebreakfest - cofeee amaing, but sausages very poor, and the scrumbled egs ...so so The room 406 and 402 were huge and comforortable

Nothing to shout about

It was a reasonable stay without being outstanding in any area. The check in was confused and the receptionist seemed a little out of her depth. It is noisy around the hotel most of the day and night. Breakfast was average.

I unfortunately was moved to another hotel which was further than where I had booked, which made it very inconvenient for the time I had stayed. I am very not happy with the fact I was upgraded to a hotel that was further out from the town centre and was actually worth less but I paid a premium price. This would have to be the most disappointing stay I have ever had through Expedia

Very pleasant hotel - recommended.

good hotel at decent price

Good points: very clean; bedroom good standard with fair size balcony. Bathroom fine with lots of hot water. Bad points: welcome on arrival non existent. Parking is nearby multi-storey which, when we tried to access, was full. We had to wait for a car to exit before we could gain entry. Check out poor - no help with luggage and tried to charge me for mini bar although had 12 euros free to spend on it and had not even used that. Would not stay again.

Too loud

I stayed in room 204 which faces the city centre. The amount of noise of cars, motorbikes and people was very disturbing. I couldnt sleep at nights and woke up early due to this. It felt like there werent any windows at all and all that noise was directly traveling inside the room. The windows should be sealed better to stop the noise coming in. When inasked if I can get the room changed I was rudely denied with the excuse that the hotel was full, this was a lie because it was the end of November and the breakfast canteen was fairly empty. I had booked it for 3 nights but left after 2 nights and checked into a different hotel because my short vacation was becoming more exhausting.

First floor room was large, comfortable, clean and convenient to attractions on the water front. The street which fronted the room’s nice balcony, was moderately busy until late at night, with the accompanying noise. Breakfast was great and the front desk staff was knowledgeable and helpful in pointing local attractions and in arranging transportation to the airport. It was was a wonderful stay with the noise being a mild bother.

Enjoyed a 7 night stay at Josephine Boutique Hotel. We stayed in family room but just 2 people staying so without the 2nd bed it was a lovely big room, fully air conditioned a lovely big bed and balcony. Rooftop pool was quiet with plenty of seats, lovely buffet breakfast with plenty of options. Hotel is just yards from the main centre of town with east walking distance from bars and restaurants in area. Easily able to book a taxi to and from larnaca airport, in all could not fault the hotel.

It was delightful.

A central hotel within walking distance of the beach, shopping, restaurants and public transport. The hotel itself was very comfortable with relaxing rooms. The buffet style breakfast was adequate, with a range of cold and cooked breakfast. The staff in all areas were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Location is superb, good breakfast and pool on top. Really liked it

This was a lovely little hotel. I would give it 5 stars but the walls were paper thin so could hear everything in the next rooms and outside. Thankfully I’d read reviews saying this so I took ear plugs which helped. But without them would have been a real issue. I’d still give the hotel 4 stars though, lovely and clean, good location.

Great location near the beach, shops and restaurants. Service was just ok. Reception was a bit gruff and unhelpful. But definitely a nice hotel to stay at. And oh, the breakfast was wonderful!

Not bad overall but very noisy

The hotel is not well insulated and we heard outside sounds - cars, merry-makers - all night. The facility itself was fine, comfortable, good service, etc.

Noise! Noise! Noise!

I cannot fault the very friendly staff and a clean modern room. Sadly the noise from neighbouring apartments and cars driving past with windows down and music blaring up to 4am spoilt the stay. Lucky if we got a couple of hours sleep each night. Obviously not the hotels fault but a warning to other travellers.

Josephine Boutique Hotel

Small compact hotel in reasonably quiet back street behind main promenade. View of adjacent buildings only.

This hotel states it has sound proofing which is not accurate. The city of Larnaca is a noisy city and the only reason I stayed here was bc they advertised as having sound proofing. I was on the 5th floor and could hear everything from the streets, the next door room and the floor above me. Did not get any sleep, and this was not a restful vacation.

Great hotel

The hotel is located at the center of Larnaca, close to the beach/Finikoudes area and Ermou. Clean with spacious room. Two events that will make me book again in this hotel: 1) One day I arrived after the breakfast was finished, and the employee insisted that she returns everything from the kitchen so I could have my breakfast 2) I had a meeting on the checkout day at 12:00 noon. the receptionist was very friendly delayed my check out. Made sure I finished my meeting and I have no upcoming meetings before she proceed with the checkout. Definitely will re-visit in the future

A lovely place to with great staff

Found this boutique joy in the city at the very last minute (15 mins before we arrived!) when we had 2 extra nights in Cyprus due to travel issues. It was lovely from the front desk welcome with our name to the lovely room. The staff were extremely polite and smiling and made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was simple but plentiful - they will cook your eggs to order. The pool deck with a little bar and free towels was also an oasis - a bit windy the day we were there but it was so nice and clean.

This is a very comfortable, centrally located hotel, within easy reach of most of Larnaca. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we had an enjoyable stay.

Cyprus is beautiful.

My Wife and I went for 4 nights and had the most amazing time. Cyprus is one of the most friendliest countries we have visited. The people are so lovely. The hotel is in a very nice location witch is very close to the beach. Breakfast was very nice and the view from breakfast is awesome. The roof pool area is even more awesome. Parking can be a little tricky and you will need to pay 5 Euros a day but you can come and go as many times as you like. The hotel is extremely clean and the rooms are done excellently everyday. We would def. Visit again.

Another good visit.

The Josephine offers a really good location close to the beach and good shopping in the other direction. The staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble. It can be noisy in the early hours with traffic and deliveries but barring that a well run establishment with the bonus of a rooftop pool and bar.

Luxury for the price!

I lucked into a spectacular penthouse room, $177cdn incl tax and breakfast! Jacuzzi tub, 2 wraparound balconies gave 360 degree views, huge bed, Nespresso, great views, half block from beach, floor to ceiling windows, robe & slippers, rooftop pool, great location & service.

Good price for value, though if you are a light sleeper you might have some troubles getting some rest here. The hotel is definitely in a good location, but there's a lot of noise coming from the street and unfortunately for us the balcony didn't close properly, so even more noise. The beach is about 3 minutes away from the hotel, though personally I wouldn't call that a beach. The room we had was nice and spacious and the bed was comfortable. A weird thing about the room is its lighting. There are so many different lights and sometimes it was difficult to find the appropriate switch to control them. The blue light is not ideal either, but others might find it interesting. The most annoying thing for us was a movement sensor inside the room that blips all the time, and catches movements even those when you just switch parts during your sleep and turns on a blue light in the bathroom. Might be an interesting feature for people that are going to the toilet in the night, but for us was just a "headache" (at least in our first night here). However, I think we managed to turn the light off for the second night so it didn't turn on every time one of us was moving in the bed, or at least I didn't see it in the second night. Even though this is a "VIP Access" hotel, no mentions about this during our stay.. so no free upgrade/amenities/perks/etc. Overall we can say we had a good and pleasant stay here.

Perfect location

The front office staff was amazing - so friendly! The woman I worked with explained the bus situation very clearly and helpfully. The breakfast was great, and the location great. I would stay here again.

Great hotel

Great Hotel, just in the center of the city close to beach and also evening party avenue. A bit of noise is heard from outside parties in the evening. Paid parking is just 5min away.

Stunning rooms. Hotel from outside is nothing special. Ut just wait till you see the rooms. I wish the UK had hotels with rooms like this! Staff very friendly and helpful. Overall a stunning hotel.
