Wonderful place to stay when visiting Blacksburg

Everything was perfect besides the beds. Old spring mattresses that were low to the ground.

Really excellent property not far from downtown.

Very nice property

Very pretty hotel! I would have given it 5-stars if it didn’t have a crunchy plastic mattress cover on the mattresses! Every time I rolled over, I felt and heard it crunching which was very annoying.

Overall good staying.

Convenient. A must try for anyone visiting Blacksburg and a fan of VT.

Great location

Nice and clean and always quiet. Close to lots of eateries and shopping.

Loved the looks and the surrounding grounds as well as the convenience to the VT Campus. Unfortunately our bed did not have a box spring only a mattress so it was a bit low… The Bartender Kim was absolutely fantastic and kept the Bar open past closing time - she was very knowledgeable about the different liquors as well as the area. Hope to be back one of these days and will make sure Kim works the weekend we are booking!!

Amazing stay as always. The Inn at Va. Tech is a great place to unwind. The staff are wonderful. The bar (depending on what you get) is priced very reasonable. Catering for our event could have been better. Event staff were wonderful to work with.

My daughter is a student at VTech & this is my favorite place to stay when I visit the area.

The Christmas decorations are beautiful!

We were there on a Saturday night after a basketball game. They had a youth Ruritan event going on and the noise in the hallways was quite loud. I know that this is something that can happen in any hotel - but it did make it difficult to sleep. If I'd known, I would have asked for a room away from most of the high schoolers and I do wish the clerk had thought about that when deciding which room to give us. Another minor thing - there was no bedside table on one side of the beds which made it tricky at night when I wanted to put my water glass down and my phone etc. But apart from this - no complaints! The room was spacious and the staff was very friendly & professional. We enjoyed the Christmas decor and the restaurant downstairs was very delicious. The hotel is (of course) quite close to the football and basketball games and was easy to check into and get to.

I was able to stay at an off peak time, during events this property is fully booked & very expensive. I wanted to check it out, at an affordable price. Very nice hotel, but the convenience/accessibility to VT campus explains the popularity. Would definitely recommend

Always a great stay

I love the inn. Staff members are always friendly, the room is always clean, and it’s always comfortable. I love the location, as well due to its proximity to downtown and campus. A bonus now is they’ve decorated for Christmas with numerous beautiful trees.

Overall nice property and wonderful stay, hotel was clean, friendly staff, comfortable bed, perfect location near university with plenty of parking and dining options nearby. A fantastic brunch at in house restaurant. Im a hokie parent so signed up for the parent club so ill definitely return. Dropped 1 star only because color theme, fixtures and furnishings are somewhat dated

Very clean hotel. Housekeeping struggled to keep up the last time we were there, but overall, a very nice place to stay.

Could be tired for its age, but renovations and maintenance make it very fresh. Better than the national chains at a similar price.

The ac in the roon was not working well and the shower didnt drain And had to remake the beds because the sheets wouldnt stay on the bed

prefer rooms facing back laen so ee csn watch the groundhogs in the mornings but reservation was last minute.

Visit with family

I always enjoy staying here when I visit family. The hotel is quiet, the rooms are on the larger side, although I've stayed in larger ones here before. Parking was free and easy. The price was very fair. It's a shame they increase it so much when Va Tech is having some event.

Another great stay

As always, my stay at the Inn was wonderful. I always hate to leave because I can always get a good nights rest after whatever adventure I’ve been on during the day. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. What else do you need?

It was great!

So amazingly convenient for Hokie move-in! We were in first floor room which was not my favorite- but room was clean and appointed as advertised. It was very expensive for the overall experience but given supply and demand, it was worth it. Parking was easy, i got thousands of steps in walking to town, campus, etc.

Lovely Stay

We have started at the INN several times now. We love the room, the location, the service and the lovely employees. The only minor discomfort for us is the spring mattress. We seem to wake up sore every morning. The mattress springs make a lot of noise as well.

The hotel was a perfect location to stay for a Va Tech tour as it’s close to the admissions starting point.

I was looking for a place to spend an overnight en route from Alexandria to Asheville, and was happy to find this inn. It most likely caters to those with ties to VA Tech, but suited me well, only a short distance from I-81. I found it to be spiffy and modern, with a spacious room, and well-staffed.

Very close to the visitor center for Virginia Tech.

Enjoyed our stay at The Inn at Virginia Tech while attending football camp. Beautiful setting and very convenient to campus. Room spacious, clean and comfortable. Coffee / Tea set up outside of dining room was appreciated in the am.

Excellent hotel right on VT

We had a very nice stay and the hotel was not busy so it was very quiet in our room. We had great views of the campus and liked how easy it was to get to campus and downtown. The breakfast was delicious and the room was clean. The staff in the restaurant was very helpful. We had a 10 minute wait for check-in even though we were the only ones there because there was just one person at the desk and they were on a call.

Nice and spacious room.

My daughter and I were visiting Virginia Tech and decided to stay at tgis property for one night. The hotel is right within the campus so it was easy to walk over to the admissions office for our campus visit. We got to the hotel late but the staff were very welcoming. There is plenty of parking. The hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly. We had a great stay. I highly recommend staying here.

Had a good stay here for a conference. Comfortable bed, clean property, and a nice breakfast.

The property is very nice, however, when we booked a bedroom with two queen sized beds, we expected queen sized, not full beds. My husband is 6’4” and 245 lbs and we barely fit together on the bed (we have slept in a regulation queen sized bed for 36 years and always have plenty of room). When I pointed the size of the bed out to the staff we were told there were no other rooms available and were not offered any other type of compensation.

It was a great place to stay and very pretty. Would definitely stay there again!!
