Property is great and so is the staff and hospitality. Great for a staycation kind of visit.

It was my 4th visit to Taj Damdama and just like before the property did not fail to impress me with their hospitality. The resort is under renovation and took extra care to inform us about it and gave us room where we did not hear any noise and it did not feel that we are in a property where work is going on. The rooms are spacious and surrounded by plants and trees. The view from the room and the restaurant is quite natural and the vibe is very relaxing. I want to extend special Thanks to Urmila who personally reached out to us to take extra care. Even the staff at Shamiyana, the chef took extra care by recommending the best dishes and taking genuine feedback from the guests. Taj Hotels always exceed the bars they have set previously. I can't wait to come back again and enjoy the newly built Villas and the fabulous touch they are giving to this resort, Thank you again

Great experience

Very spacious, no pollution, awesome hospitalities, awesome food, everything was mind blowing. Main attraction was different adventrous activities. We will again visit with our grandkids. Thank you soo much😍

Got both the rooms seperately, and our family of four had to stay seperately..rest it was fine.

Very Average Property

Very average property. Needs a lot of regular on-time maintenance. The property looks worn out, it didn't feel like it was a Taj property. Minimal in-room dining options — we were there two days and literally had ordered everything. The buffet was substandard — like 5 to 6 items were there. The service was super fast, staff is good. But upgrades needed, a lot of them.

Delayed checkin and not even apologeti about that

We reached the proprty at 2.20 pm and were requested to wait for half an hour to gwt our rooms ... we kept on waiting and was not even informed of further delays ... after repeatedlt asking them we finally got our rooms qt 3.50pm - really not expected from a Taj property

Property is very good. Lot of activities are available. Maintenance doesn't seems to be upto the mark. Only one restaurant is available - spread is limited, service at restaurant was just upto the mark.

Place is super awesome but staff is too pathetic

Me and my husband stayed for 2 nights. - There were frequent electricity cuts which is not expected in a 5 star hotel. - The service was not upto the mark as well as the eatables and utensils requested by the visitors from next room lying near our door for an entire day until we requested to clean it as cats and squirrels started coming in. - For a 5 star hotel, the toiletries provided were too limited as well. Eg: face napkins was not there - There were lizards in balcony due to which we were unable to stay much in balcony too

The property has a very green and peaceful ambience. Mixed review for the staff. Some were very warm and courteous and some were very disrespectful. A big shoutout to Ramvilas from the restaurant. He provided exceptional service and an experience worth remembering. Devaki also deserves a special mention. She was also very attentive and warm. COVID-19 safety measures at the restaurant should definitely be improved. Didnot find it upto the mark. Like all the cutlery was out in open and everyone was Howver

Extremely courteous staff and spacious rooms. Good one day getaway ftom the city.

The property is good for a relaxing weekend. You can hear birds chirping and staff is also hospitable Buffet is good but management around seating and refilling items is a major issue.

Mind blowing experience

Amazing experience... mind blowing in every sense. Check in process, Rooms, kids activities, leisure activities, food ... perfect. Especially thanks to the restaurant manager for going out of the way to help the kids with delicious options. This was our 2nd time and am sure we will continue to come ...

I feel the property is quite overpriced. It didn't meet standards at all, for what they charge for room and food. Overall, a very average experience and stay.

Overall it was a good stay but we were not given any activity chart which we came to know from housekeeping that it's provided to all..which includes a high tea etc. Rest all was fine and room was comfortable and cozy.... Breakfast was good too!!

Its absolutely a superb hotel ... represents the Taj brand wonderfully in every way. However, the only issue is getting there which is through some very awful condition roads (from Delhi airport).

Rural retreat an hour from Delhi airport

This was a very comfortable hotel in a remote location. We were overwhelmed by the friendliness of the staff and the high level of service. The activities (wall climbing, archery etc) were great fun. The spa was excellent and very good value compared with European and US resorts. The food was good. We were encouraged to have the buffet breakfast but on one day we opted for Al a carte and the food was much better than the buffet and cheaper too! The only negative part of our stay was the cost of transfers. It cost very little to get there in a radio taxi from the airport but there is no option for getting back other than to use the hotel-arranged transfer which cost 7 times as much. This was likely not an issue for most guests, who drove there in their own vehicles.

Pleasant Family Stay

Hi,we checked in the hotel on 8th July. The Hotel property was quite vast and there were lot of fun activities inside the hotel like Rope climbing, quad bike riding(expensive though !!), Hiking, other sports area, game center etc. The Rooms were also pretty comfortable, neat and clean. However the approach road was quite narrow and i was expecting direction signs to the hotel but it was not there. All in all it was a pleasant experience and i wouldn't mind recommending the hotel to everybody.

Perfect Getaway from Delhi

We were two couples, enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Everything was good from the room to the activity options to the privacy component. The only thing that was a miss for us was the food. We ordered a-la-carte for lunch and didn't enjoy it at all. For dinner we didn't have the buffet but ordered from their Eatin room dining menu and that too was a miss for us. Only the breakfast was fine, the spread just as one would find in any hotel. Apart from the food, the hotel serves as a perfect getaway from Delhi. There are lot of activities for all age groups. I would recommend this property for a short stay of 1 or max 2 nights.

Hi it was beautiful stay with gateway premises ,,,the kind of comfort zone , cleanliness around there ,they made it worth our stay over there but want to just put my feedback about restaurant management ,,they are quiet slow work wise soo just take care of staff session . Regard Ekta

Genuinely.... Awesome !!! Everything .. Right from the reception welcome .. They offered an upgrade .... for our own reasons .. We declined .... To the room service..... Spa service ... Restaurant staff. They kept things very calm composed n simple. Every supervisor staff was aware of the birthday... They would wish me.... Provided a complementary cake ... We asked for egg less n they obliged !! Thanks !!

Great weekend place for relaxation

Beautiful green expanse in front of rooms. Pool with jacuzzi and kid life jackets Good play room for small kids Staff very polite and helpful. Gave us a room upgrade as well. Food is very good. Chef is very supportive to make anything for small kids which is not on the menu

Amazing property

This is an amazing and one of the most beautiful resort I have visited till now. A very new and fresh properly just stared in May 2014. The exteriors and interiors both have been build very beautifully and very passionately.. Its a true combination of nature and comfort. The room tariff is value from money.. Only thing which pinched me was expensive food. It not value for money. As per the amount they change the portion of food is very less. I was really excited and thrilled to see the SAMOAS which was listed for Rs 495 + taxes.
