Great hotel chain with excellent service that never fails.

It was an amazing stay. We were really happy with the upgrade. The food was delicious and we enjoyed all the services.

Given a room at the extreme end of hotel.. horrible shower, good pressure but with inconsistent water temperature.. looks like nobody has bothered to check the shower. Breakfast was good

The rooms, service, cleanliness, and food were all excellent! What stood out the most, however, was the exceptional attitude of the staff, whether it was the Front Office team, Bell Desk, Housekeeping, or Dining staff. Everyone greeted us with a smile, was proactive and was always ready to assist. It made for a fantastic overall experience!

We were visiting from US for 2 days/nights and enjoyed our stay at Taj. The room was very clean and tidy and well organized. Kudos to the entire staff they took good care of us and special thanks to the folks in Dining (Abhijit and team(Dipali,Sejal and Umesh)) who showered lotz of love towards our kid and delicious food. Only con I can find wish the pool area was ready. Highly recommend and we will stay here again.

Below par quality

The hotel is from Taj group, known for the hospitality but unfortunately quality of room, facility, food, toiletries, cleanliness etc. are far below par then standard. Only positive is smile on face of staff

Hotel is good but it’s not a fresh property how u expect it to be with the name taj It needs an overall maintenance

Checked everyday to see that everything was ok..was there for four days. Unique personal touch.

A Fantabulous stay at Hotel Gateway!

The stay at the Gateway Hotel was fantabulous. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The buffet spread was lavish and the food was delicious. The salon located in the hotel is very good. Mansi, the manager of the Hotel was extremely diligent, proactive and kind. She is very good for the brand of the hotel.

Amazing City hotel with superb hospitality

Well I have no complains with the hotel and it up to the mark. 10/10 for any hospitality and touch points that could have been covered. I was little bit disappointed as before this I was staying in a resort in the vineyard area of Nashik and was expecting a similar experience but that was poor research on my behalf, it's a very nice city hotel and will definitely recommend for those who are traveling to Nashik, but if you are primarily staying for vineyards then please book a stay in vineyard region only

Perfect Gateway for Weekend with Family

The Check in was smooth, Rooms are big spacious, clean. Bathroom are big too. We have a Garden facing room. Lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas, Meals were awesome. We had all meal plan. Great variety. The Zen area in the garden was a unique experience. Huge open Garden perfect place to play Badminton, Fressbies, Running games with kids and friends.

Nice and Bright

Terrific property I wish I could have spend more time there. I could not get all the lights to go off without some engineering. It was late. I was tired and somehow I could not get the right combination of 3 way switches that would turn off all the lights.

A beam over the bathroom door fell on me. It could have hit me on my head but it hit my right arm that was extended as I was sliding the door. Staff there moved me to another room but it was a bad experience.

Service was excellent and staff behaviour was very good, Air condition in the room are not up to the mark, in 3 days changed room 3 times.

Think twice about booking your rooms here.

1st of all, when checked in around 3pm the room which was given was not cleaned. Then had to ask them to shift us to the other room. Then Once we entered the room, the whole room was vibrating.. All walls were vibrating. We told the reception to make sure that they check the room and change it asap with an extra bed arrangement at 5pm when we left to roam around the city. But when we returned late at night around 11:40 we saw that we were in the same room , without any extra bed arranged. Called up the reception again to be on hold for a while and then they said we would try to shift you in another room. Then at 12:30 we finally went in a new room all tired. The extra bed had no locks, it kept moving at night so no sleep! There were no proper toiletries in this room. All in all not a great experience here at The Gateway Hotel which is supposed to be under the Taj umbrella. We just got to hear a sorry when checking out thats all.. Really disappointed with the Stay!

Everything was great. The ambience, the hospitality, the comfort, the luxury. All the minute details were well taken care of. In fact, the staff goes out of their way to cater to guests. Special thanks to chef Navneet for preparing the food for our 8 month old. The hotel is well equipped with enough games and entertainment that one needn’t even venture outside

Taj name and central location , but zero mantainence food quality very bad, and linen torn ,not very fresh feel

The landscape and big garden spaces and sheer size of the property was truely unique. The only thing missing was a bar that is open till late hours.

Nice, comfortable rooms. Excellent front desk staff, at citrine restaurant, panchratna, right to the welcome reception desk, Rajdeep and team were super efficient and also planned a sweet surprise to celebrate the reason for this trip- our parents wedding celebration. Definitely recommend a stay at the Taj Ambad.

Nice stay but bait & switch on WiFi

The hotel is a bit dated but overall it is nice for a night or two. The staff was also very friendly. My only complaint is the fact that they charge for internet. I booked a room which included internet but when I clicked on the 'upgraded' internet option (I assumed this is what I pre-paid), they charged an additional fee. I asked the manager about this at checkout and when I showed him that I prepaid for internet, he wouldn't credit me the 'upgrade' amount. It's only INR700 but it felt like they were taking advantage and hitting up their guests for small things after paying 13k for a standard room for one night. The manager was very dismissal in his reply which led me to write this review - unfortunately for many people, one inaction by a manager can easily wipe away 10 good actions by the other staff. They should seriously consider including internet as a standard like most 4+ star hotels these days. Overall, a good experience but it left a slight bitter taste in the end.

Beautiful Heritage Property, nice courteous staff, good location to visit the Wineries like Sula and Soma, Excellent Rooms, Great Food , nice pool and amenities with a huge lawn.

Pleasant stay!

Overall experience was good and staff was pretty helpful. Save for our initial struggle with getting a room for early check in, the rest was just splendid. The only thing I'd comment on would be the upkeep & maintenance of such a lovely property. They can certainly make a few upgrades!

Superb service and lush beautiful gardens!

In all the many hotels that I have stayed at across the world, I can't recall the last time I had ABSOLUTELY ZERO complaints. The staff is very good, so is the room service. The restaurants are very good and very reasonably priced. The lush beautiful gardens of the property are a welcome relief.

It was excellent. Felt relaxed. Satisfied. Indian cousin was specially fantastic but not less in any way than muilty cousin one. Breakfast was full of varieties with brilliant choice.

It is the best hotel in town

I went on a business trip and the hotel offered decent amenities and clean rooms. Room service is excellent and the restaurant on the ground floor has an excellent pizza in case you need a break from the Indian cousin Tiny detail, they can only exchange up to 400 usd per day.
