Do NOT Stay Here - AWFUL Hotel

I cannot emphasize enough how awful my experience was at this hotel. The hospitality was nonexistent, and the staff—from the front desk to the director of hospitality, Veronica mostly—were utterly incompetent. This place is a disaster and a complete waste of money. If you’re considering booking here, don’t. Save yourself the nightmare I endured. From the moment I checked-in to the moment I checked-out, the entire experience was a complete trainwreck. They charged my card $300 for incidentals—double the price of the room—without any clear explanation. And then the disasters began. Room 1: Upon entering, I was greeted by an open trap door exposing Wi-Fi routers—a sight that was both unprofessional and unsettling. The window was also open and couldn’t be properly closed. When I reported the issue to the front desk, they moved me to another room. Room 2: Same issue—windows that were visibly open, letting in a breeze, and no way to close them. To make matters worse, I was gaslit by Veronica who claimed the windows weren’t actually open. It was clear they were, and no solution was offered. Room 3: This was by far the worst. It was located near the pool, which meant loud, blasting music all day long chosen by the bartender from the poolside bar. The room itself was filthy: an unknown substance was smeared and running down the walls, sticky residue coated the table, someone’s dried contact lenses from a previous stay were left on the nightstand, and the blinds were broken and had

I can honestly say this property was GREAT. Shout out to the whole front desk staff because they were so helpful. They told me everything I needed to know at check in. The room was given earlier than expected and they gave me such a great clean room. Only thing I would say is that the room doesn’t have a door in the middle between the bathroom, which means there is no privacy and the tv will not be able to connect to your phone. But overall 10/10 I was very happy, shout out to the whole front desk staff for being so detailed, they really are trained to be the best. I will be BACK!

A strange and sad experience

More than half the rooms were “out of service.” 5 of us stayed here in separate rooms and 3 of our rooms had no air conditioning. It was a terrible experience. There are too many things that went wrong to list, but I’ve never seen such a lack of attention detail and general care for maintenance, cleanliness, and customer experience.

Very Nice staff. Beautiful pool. This place needs some major TLC & repairs. Only one working elevator. Dirty rooms, with broken lights, broken vanity, chipped tub, paint splatter on floors. Could be great with some love and care. They definitely shouldn’t be charging so much for such a run down hotel.

They charge you mandatory resort fees even if you don't use it. All the plumbing in the property is clogged, bathrooms and sinks don't drain. Room wasn't cleaned. The view is great.

This hotel was great. Loved the staff energy, knowledge and kindness. The room, bed and bathroom was spacious and comfortable. We also had a pretty nice view of the cruise ships.

Room was ready late. Requested late check out at noon and our key cards were shut off- couldn’t get bags to leave by noon and had to return to desk to have cards reactivated. Ketchup/ pizza sauce dried and smeared on table and chairs in what was supposed to be a clean room.

Amazing Views, Great Location

Great hotel. Amazing location. Great staff. I stayed in a beautiful Bay View room and it was lovely. Very spacious. The bathroom with garden tub is amazing. We were first assigned a Bay View room that opened up to the pool, which was not that great. It wasn’t very private and the layout was strange. We immediately called the front desk to ask for a more private room with a better bay view and the staff quickly accommodated us. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel room was not throughly clean. There were finger nail clippings and a pill left in the bathroom. The duvet cover had stains. The cover should have been discarded and a new one placed due to the laundry unable to remove the stain.

Wonderful. I loved everything about it. I will definitely be back in the future. If I could live here I would lol 😊.

The Grayson is a hidden gem! The location is ideal, close to all the action but tucked away enough to feel peaceful. The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. My room was stylish, modern, and impeccably clean. The pool was a highlight—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. I’ll definitely be back!

Not quiet what expected

Loud noise from the nearby motorway. Price high in relation to quality. Bar with little choice. I asked for a room on a higher floor, unfortunately I had a room on a low level. It was hard to sleep with the noise of the cars from the motorway and poor soundproofing of the windows and indoor doors.

No heat during winter!

The hotel smelled wonderful, the place was clean and beautiful, but the whole entire hotel had NO HEAT.

The BEST HUGE rooms!

The rooms are HUGE, with amazing bathrooms and very large terrace. The Restaurant had amazing food! The Library was a great place for very creative drinks! Staff outstanding! This was the perfect place for Art Miami/Context as we could walk to the fairs and museum across the street.

Way too basic for the stars.

It’s expensive for very basic return. The room was a good size, but no complimentary water. The breakfast was half a step up from a motel. It doesn’t deserve a higher score.

Loved the view of the balcony and the pool area looked clean. The room was also very clean and modern.

Me and my fiancé booked the room for one night because it is close to Port Miami. We did not expect to love the hotel so much. The night we booked it was quite peaceful. I absolutely love that there is no stinky carpets in the rooms! The pool was nice though we did not get in. There is a restaurant in the pool area that also has alcoholic beverages if interested. The menu is a little pricey but the food was tasty and the service was nice. Overall very satisfied with our stay.

After paying $150.00 in advance for a perfectly ordinary room, we were told at check-in that there was a service charge of another $30, plus resort tax and fees. The total was nearly $200. Then we went to their little restaurant and ordered two chicken fingers and two beers for another $75. No thanks, I won't be back.

The bathtubs are amazing

Needs drapes in bathroom. Sheers do not keep light out. No door between bathroom and bedroom allows light into the bedroom. Hard to sleep with that much outside light filtering in. Nightstand lamps would not turn on. Safe did not work. Otherwise was very nice hotel with easy access to port. Very comfortable bed.

Had a great time still wish the pool was open longing. The front stairs could use an update.

Very beautiful hotel with great hospitality!!!

When we got to the hotel we were told a large block of rooms, including ours, had been damaged from a broken water pipe. So, even with a sold out hotel, they upgraded our room and compted dinner for us. The room was fantastic as was the food. I've stayed there before and the staff is always caring and courteous. They do everything in their power to make your stay phenomenal. It's our go to hotel when we stay in Miami.

The room and the hallways are in a beat down condition, the sheets and towels are in need of replacement, especially the towels which are very hard and have an unpleasant smell. The hallways and the corridors to the rooms are in the need for a change, it seems that in the past they have taken in water and have been warped since. The public areas such as the library and the check in area are nice (I did not check out the pool and the rooftop bar) but the rooms and hallways are in need of a serious makeover. The location is great but I would not stay here again.

Rooms are a good size. Clean and cozy. Those beds are like sleeping on a cloud! They've nailed that balance between new and comfy. Had a fab stay here!

This place was great! There were 2 pools, one with a balcony skyline/ ocean view and also a hot tub and a cold tub (just like the hot tub, only the water was chilled on purpose-- I have never seen that before!) The location was great, right near the opera house, stadium, and science museum. The view was lovely and the ginormous bathtub was awesome!

The room was comfortable but not enough lighting was very dark, the bathroom didnt have a fan so the humidity from the shower got everywhere and we had problems with the toilet having a continuous flush for hours, had to have maintenance come and fix the issue. One of the back pillows had a red stain so had to immediately inspect the rest of the bed to make sure everything else was alright. The front desk also makes you wait forever to answer your call and the calls to the restaurant on site or room service do not pick up…:/ The pool and view were amazing, valet parking was nice. They definitely need to work on their costumer service though.

Staff at pool very friendly and attentive. Good hotel, nice design, great amenities. This hotel needs SIGNAGE outside in the worst way. There are no signs (zero) that identify it as The Grayson. Just terrible branding and marketing that make it hard to find for guests, taxi drivers.

Great property. I stayed in the pool balcony room. It was a luxurious room with an amazing pool view. Bathroom was huge and loved the lotions and soaps. I will be back to stay here in January.

Friendly staff and spacious suite

The hotel was clean and stylish very chic, however the hotel is on a very busy street and you can hear traffic way into the night. I had a hard time getting to sleep due to the noise factor. Secondly, the front desk never answered their phone

It was very close to the arena so it made it convenient. Staff wasn’t either friendly or helpful. Restaurant was overpriced and not very good.

Nice stay

Nice clean hotel. Pool area was really enjoyable and convenient with a food/bar area. Very disappointed in the fact there was no coffee available in the morning except at the restaurant. We had a $33 bill for the restaurant and that we bought was 1 regular cup of coffee, and 1 medium orange juice. The coffee was $12 and the juice was $17 (no alcohol). I would be cautious of the wet bar and make sure you take a picture when you check in and out. We had 2 rooms and one wet bar was stocked full of snacks and drinks. The other room was not. I did let the registration desk know when I checked out so I wouldn’t be charged. Other than that hotel was very nice and roomy with large bathrooms. Chairs were not that comfortable but it was doable. Very close to the cruise terminal. We called an Uber to get to cruise ship.

It was a fresh, clean, modern room. They let us check in early AND we got a balcony upgrade. The staff was VERY friendly!! Plenty of food and entertainment options in walking distance.

The room is very nice, the noise from the traffic is significant. The curtain to the bathroom area-dirty and stained. The bathroom grout-dirty. The coffee and snack area-not stocked. The request for coffee and sugar for the espresso machine-promises to deliver and after two requests did not happen until going to the front desk. There's only one trashcan in the room-next to the toilet.

Parking was very expensive that was the only downfall
