I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The hot water in my room did not work, and when I brought it to the attention of the staff, they promised me a refund as compensation. However, despite their assurances, I never received the refund or any follow-up. This lack of communication and failure to resolve the issue has left me quite disappointed. I expected better service and follow-through from a hotel of this caliber.

The hotel is better in the photos. The reality is that the hotel is in deplorable condition. Old and very dated carpet, not clean at all. There is only ONE window in the rooms and it happened to be in our room. It faced the patio at the front of the hotel. It was small and covered with cheap dark curtains, which were poorly hung. The room was unventilated and smelled stale and musty. The water pressure was low and hot water was non existent. If you wanted to charge any electronics, you had to try every outlet to find the one that worked. The room was dark and had low lighting. Dirty furniture. No fridge in the room. No food available either. Downstairs the main floor was an arcade. Horribly loud. The setup was ancient. Each of the stalls were unoccupied and not in use. So no snack area, Noo food, soda machines under lock and key. I can’t say enough of what a disappointment this hotel turned out to be.

No hot water (not even lukewarm). Walls are thin so the neighbors and music can get loud. Rooms needs refurbishment, have a cheap appearance which is a shame since the concept seems like a good idea. Average experience overall.

For the price that is charged, there should be at least fridges in the bed room and/or better quality tv.

Great option. Not expensive. Entertainment is close the hotel.

Good hotel that's up and coming

Parking available at their sister hotel one block away. Overall a nice place to stay. They are constantly upgrading and remodeling so it's always getting better. For being in the town square, there's a lot of good amenities.

Ok stay. Bed wasn't that comfortable and hot water not so hot, plus TV never worked. It was a centric stay and near places to eat or drink.

My experience at this hotel was one of the worst I have ever had. There was no hot water, which is completely unacceptable, especially for a place that is supposed to provide comfort to its guests. Additionally, there is no parking available, making it even more difficult to stay, as there is no secure place to leave your vehicle. The noise in the hotel is unbearable; you can hear everything, including conversations from other rooms. This makes it impossible to rest or enjoy a peaceful environment. The staff is insufficient and lacks the professionalism expected. My reservation was for four nights, but due to the poor conditions, I was only able to stay for one. However, when I requested a refund for the unused nights, they informed me that only one day’s refund would be granted, citing misleading and dishonest policies that clearly do not prioritize customer satisfaction. In summary, this hotel is, in my opinion, the worst on the island. I have stayed at motels that offer better quality and service. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This was a very nice hotel in a walkable historic district. But, they had several ,several arcade game machines that were loud and bells ringing all day long until 2 am ! These arcades were extremely loud and obnoxious and could hear it from our 2nd story room. 1 or 2 people used the arcade which were basically outdated and a waste of money for the hotel. LOUD is an understatement

This was quite possibly the worst stay I've ever had. The front desk person had little to no personality, took a very long time check me in and said zero words during the process. The first room they put me in was completely filthy with loose change on the floor along with a bunch of other dirt. On top of that the shower barely worked and there was no hot water. Upon complaining about this they put me in a different room which was right on top of the stairs and you could hear every arcade game blaring all night long. In this room the toilet didn't work. The sheets were like sandpaper and all they gave you for blankets was a cheap throw that belongs in a 6-year-old's room. The TV only worked with streaming apps that you had to log on to. 10 out of 10 would never stay here again. The only good part of this hotel was its location and the fact that it had a bar right outside. There was no one at the front desk to complain to upon check out.

Interesting hotel with fun atmosphere right in the middle of town, but would have liked hot water in the sink!

Everything was fine, Except there was no parking available and it was a little hard to find parking lot. But evero other thing was great.

Small room with no view....tv did not work. Switched room and tv had no working remote... no water pressure, next day while I started to shower, lost all water.... Was not happy. Had to go to event without showing 😕

I did not get to stay because when we got into the room, there was no water and the bathroom was durty.

It's very sad to see a place with so much potential in these conditions. It really has a great location and good rates; it has too much potential to be a better place. I stayed from Saturday to Sunday. I only saw one person (employee) in the entire place, the parking lot is across the street, the lobby facilities were excellent, but empty, there was no air. In the room, it wasn’t that bad, but the floor was dirty, the bathtub was the same, there was no hot water in the bathtub, and the water pressure was low, even at the sink. It really has a lot of potential, and the concept is great, but they need to invest more in those little details I mentioned!

No parking, bedroom, the temperature needs to be handled with the a/c because there is no comforter and if you ask they will bring just fitted sheets. We were two and there were no bath mat, no towels for two just one big and one medium. No telephone for service, but I didn't mind, I used my cell. The bedroom carpet

Disappointing stay

My recent stay was quite disappointing. The room lacked basic amenities: no warm water, just two small, thin towels (not even a hand towel), and it was very noisy. The TV had no local channels or streaming options, not even for personal logins. When I raised these issues, the staff simply said there was nothing they could do, which was frustrating. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience.

Good hotel

This hotel is under renovation. The air-condition in the common area off, dirty, furniture in the hallway’s. No coffee maker, water nothing in the room.

The entire hotel had no air conditioning. We had extreme trouble finding parking. We were greeted with warm lemonade. The carpet in the room was dirty and it was unbearably hot to the point of sleeping with no covers. I didn’t even undo the bed. Slept horribly. The staff was nice but this is not as advertised whatsoever.

La ducha casi no tiraba agua, no habia agua caliente y en el lavamanos el agua no bajaba como deberia ser, se quedaba como tapada, y luego bajaba. El aire acondicionado del cuarto no enfrio mucho. En un momento se fue la electricidad y preguntamos por una planta electrica y esta dañada. Suerte que llegó la electricidad...

Lo negativo La piscina y estacionamiento queda fuera del hotel. Solo tienen 1 zafacon en la habitacion. La señal del tv pesima. Servicio de front counter pobre. Ahi que estar muy atento xq en expidia te dicen una cama y ellos te dan la que quiera. No ahi agua caliente. Lo positivo Habitacion con buen olor y el aire enfria muy bien. Ambiente tranquilo y familiar. Ubicacion Frente al parque de bombas en ponce. Funciona el elevador. Decoracion de hotel espectacular.

The staff warned us about the music being on until midnight, which I didn’t mind but at 2in the morning we had people laughing, screaming and banging and the walls not allowing us to sleep. At that time no one was at the counter, next day I brought it to their attention but nothing was Dane. Also the hot water wasn’t working they told me the manager was going to stop by which he never did!!! Very disappointed, will not recommend

Cuando llegamos el ascensor no servia, la llave del cuarto no servia y para completar no habia agua y nos transfirieron al Hotel Melia que fue peor. La pasamos fatal.

This hotel plays loudly their machines, music, and you can hear everybody loudly laughing and screaming allllll night. Nice and a place to play some video and games but definitely not to get any sleep. They make you sign a form letting you know music will be played all night but it’s hard to get a hotel last minute plus unable to cancel. I would definitely not stay here! I would go for a night of games and drinks. Loved the sushi! The beds are old and no sleep was no fun! There was nobody at checkout at the front desk.

Like: the options of food and the colorful lobby Dislike: no parking available most of the time in the lot that they share with other hotel. The music from the lobby can be heard on the room (the hotel said about the music during the check in; not before). No hot water. Towels and sheets with stains. No ice machine. Poor illumination in rooms. The bath’s window does not have a curtain and was located to the front of the Plaza.

Opportunity cleaning We pay 60.00 for parking on others area because the parking hotel was full.

It was a pretty themed hotel. The recepcionist was good. The room was comfortable, but needs to enforce on the cleaning, specially on the bathroom. The shower had what it looks like old scum on the corners and the walls were dirty.

The Fox Hotel is an absolute delight. It is filled with amazing pop art, a gaming centre, billiard table, different food options and a bar - staff are great - it’s very vibrant well worth a stay !

In was pretty comfortable but the biggest drawback is that they had NO fridge nor microwave !!! That sucked !!!

I wasn't expecting a 5 star hotel at that price but I was at least expecting to be able to sleep, which is what you want from a hotel!!! We booked one of the double queen bedroom which had its window right above the plaza when you enter the hotel. They had live music until 3am!!! The music was so loud that the windows were shaking. I whent down to the front desk at 2:15am and they said it would stop then, but it went on for another 45 mins. They told me that the front desk had mentionned it upon checking but that wasn't the case. They had me sign a paper in Spanish and when i asked what i was signing for, she did not mention teh live music. There is also no cable TV, just 2 useless remotes. The A/C smells moldy and the parking they offer at another property was full. We parked on a street close by so that was not an issue. Few positive points: The staff at the bar was friendly and the area is beautiful with lots of dinning options.

No water or ice machine, sheets and towels were stained when we arrived, hotel is loud and noise from the lobby can easily be heard in the rooms. Don't expect the noise to stop until at least 11pm.

No breakfast, hart to drop personal bags. Old windows, no noise proof. Restaurants inside are close on the weekends.

2 good things: The concept makes it unique and it is super centric. Bad things: Bed was uncomfortable, the rooms need it to be repainted. You can hear from inside the room people yelling and even talking. The machines from the first floor are always on. The music is too high. They charge you $5 to play pool and also need to pay for the machines. This hotel is a good choice if it's the only one available.

Es una excelente opción para hospedarse en el área de Ponce. El hotel necesita un poco que cariño, mejor aire acondicionado, los televisores en las habitaciones deben ser prioridad ya que en nuestra habitación no funcionaba. Debería tener su propia piscina. Y mas de un espejo por habitación.

Upon arrival the clerk was very unpleasant and it took a lot to get any information out of her. The inside had an arcade and a lot of areas to get food and drinks which was nice but it smelled of mildew. The room especially smelled like mold and felt very mucky, even the floors felt like it. There was just one towel for a room for two and the pillows had weird stains and an awful odor. As of going to sleep, the music was blasting until the late hours of the night- at one point it got even louder. It was such a cool concept, but it definitely needs revamp for what it portrays.

Great location, beautiful view and close to the airport

No windows in the rooms. They had no internet, no cable (They even had a remote control that didn't belong to the TV in the room, so if I wanted to connect my laptop or tablet to the TV I couldn't do it). It has a phone its not working. They have an arcade in the first floor (imagine an itsy butsy teeny weeny Dave & Busters) and they are on all night. Because all rooms are on the second floor you can hear them all night.

Room was nice, but being a room with no windows, you expect to have a TV. As per the front desk clerk, none of the TV’s in the hotel was working.

Bad, bad, bad. The Fox doesn’t have parking for guests. You have to park at the Meliá, another hotel, and walk your way with all your luggage across town to the Fox. Not fun. When I got there at 1:00 am or so, there was no system. When I went to my room, it was occupied by other guests! I was not offered a room because there was no system! What kind of hotel is that? When I called the next day to ask to speak to the manager, they don’t tell you the name for security reasons; I would have to wait for the manager to call me. I mean, this is a supervisor of a hotel, not the FBI or CIA on an undercover mission. It is a disaster. They didn’t want to reimburse the percentage from Expedia, because it’s a third party. I told them to reimburse everything to me and then they could deal with Expedia themselves, because it’s not my fault that they offered the same room to two families. I’m still waiting for it to resolve. Sry bad hotel and management. Don’t stay there!

Aire acondicionado sucio, no limpian los filtros. Es muy ruidoso el hotel, no es un hotel para descansar. Se escucha todo el ruido de abajo en los cuartos.

Travelers Beware!!!! Do your research! Details are once you arrive..don't fall victim to the catfish photos of this location!!! Rooms were filthy, flies in the restroom no hot water or pressure, no towels, crumbs on the floor... front desk oblivious to their responsibilities. Traveled with my daughters 22 and 24 thinking this would be a vibe for them and wasn't... this is a sleepy town square till the weekend reels around starts Thursday evening night club base boom in the common grounds entry till 3am if your planning on getting any rest don't stay here!!!

We were unhappy that 1) no internet 2)television didn’t work 3)no hot water. 4) all the restaurants in the building were closing in 1 1/2 hours 5) after seeing the total online that showed us the total cost including taxes and fees, the hotel added an extra $50 for our pet. That wasn’t mentioned online or we would have chosen a different hotel.

The staff was horrible, we were 4 in a room and we had to ask more than 3 times for another key for the room and magically when we got mad it appeared. The staff does not care about its guest. When we asked 2 times for the wifi they gave us a little pice of paper with the information and it never worked. The room had a very strong smell like a lot of cleaning products, the tv did not work and the amenities were non in the room, not even soap.

Terrible experience, don't recommend to everyone. Don't have elevetor in service. Don't have TV in function. Don't have any amenities. The room don't have any comfort. The service are too bad. Don't stay here the hotel need remodeling all.

El televisor no funcionó y no pudieron resolverlo, la butaca en el cuarto tenía muchas manchas de suciedad y la ducha no tenía el cabezal de salida. Es una pena pues la localización del hotel es muy buena. Deben dar mejor mantenimiento.

This property is definitely passed its prime. Eclectic but floors are not clean. Hot water came after about 5 minutes. Staff was not interested in fixing our broken electric door. TV was also broken. There are arcades playing all night long in the lobby but luckily we were further down the hall.
