out in a vineyard, special place.

Great stay in beautiful vineyard

Large lovely house set in beautiful vineyard. Looks just like the pictures as advertised. Great air conditioning / heating available in all rooms, very comfortable. Also well equipped kitchen, and really convenient with laundry and dryer. Just some minor maintenance touchups needed (e.g. lightbulb in living room needs to be fixed) and needs a new kettle. More counter space in bathroom would be nice.

Such a beautiful place to stay!

The Farmhouse was a nice property located on the Mission Esate Vineyard. We were made to feel very welcome by the Estate crew. The Farmhouse was neat and tidy. I would recommend the Farmhouse for anyone staying in the area. The Mission Estate restaurant and cellar door were excellent

We really enjoyed our stay at the Farmhouse. A lovely house. We enjoyed the privacy and the spa was an added bonus.

Nice and private, loved the spa pool convenience. Air conditioning in all rooms was good. Close proximity to the Mission restaurant. No road noise, lovely quiet evening.

Booked this 3-night stay 16 months in advance, turned up on the day and apparently the farmhouse was being used in its entirety by the promoter of the concerts that were to take place in the summer. Despite having confirmation from Expedia, Mission Estate didn't take responsibility. They claimed they had no knowledge of the booking; however other accommodation that we booked via Expedia had no issues. They explained that they had cancelled another booking for days after our stay; why they didn't just block it out so it wasn't possible to book is beyond me! They did however offer us a complimentary bottle of their sparkling wine (which we would've received had we stayed), and paid the difference on our alternative accommodation. We spoke with 3 people at Mission Estate, and not one took responsibility for this or seemed overly considered that there was a problem. It took c.2 hours to resolve, and they did offer us a complimentary snack & a coffee while we waited.

Loved the terrace deck, hottub, bbq pit and just waking up to views of the vineyard

Property belongs to the beautiful vineyard and is a short walk to their gorgeous restsurant.We were lucky and had the place to ourselves. A very high standard and was our favojrite stop.

This property offered a whole house in the middle of the vines of the winery. It's tranquil setting allowed compete relaxation. Staff we encountered were friendly and helpful . Dinner at the winery restaurant is a must while you stay there.

Beautiful winery stay

I only wish we had stayed longer, this is such a beautiful place, the wine is so good, the views are fantastic and the apartment is so comfortable, convenient and nice. I already want to go back.

A Great Experience

What a lovely place this is. Set amongst the vines, and with a hot tub and bbq, we had a lovely evening at this amazing property. Even when we had an issue with the electricity it was handled swiftly by a goroundsman, and it didn’t affect our fantastic stay here

Tv didn’t work., could only receive music on MTV. Very annoying. Everything else was great

Stayed over Christmas, taking the whole house for the family. Wonderfully peaceful. Are in town at Pacifica on Christmas Eve. Catered in the house Christmas Day. Made full use of the kitchen, bbq and outdoor area. Loads of space to spread out. Well equipped and clean. A very special place!

The staff at Mission were very welcoming. The property was quiet and the beds were comfortable. Having a glass of wine on the deck was perfect.

Lovely, quiet farmhouse

The farmhouse is spacious (it turned out that we were the only guests during our two-night stay), sunny, quiet, clean, comfortable, well appointed. It’s set in the middle of the vineyard, with great views. The Mission Estate restaurant is excellent, but if you want to spend less, there are good restaurants in Taradale, only minutes away. We’d love to stay there again.

Didn’t want to leave....

This place was perfect. The Farmhouse was a great base for exploring Napier and the surrounding wine region although I never actually wanted to leave the farm house. It’s so quaint and has all that you need for a short or long stay. I had my morning coffee in my patio overlooking the vineyard, brought back wine and cheese for snacks at the end of the day watching the sunset over the valley, and sat next to the fireplace as the night got cool. Stay here. You won’t regret it!

Mission farmhouse

Was a nice and relaxing stay. We loved the hot tub and enjoyed the view and serenity of the place. Great place to de-stress.

Beautiful setting in sunny Hawkes Bay. We chose to stay at the Farmhouse to be close to The Mission Winery for a family wedding. Love to come back again.

relaxing in the vines

We loved our stay here at the winery. The cottage was spacious and well equipped. The hot spa outside was large and comfy and the best one we came across in our trip around the North Island. There was a washing machine and dryer which was useful for halfway through our trip! There were three separate deck areas to choose from, to sit and enjoy the views of the vines. But the best bit was the meal at the restaurant which we awarded our favorite meal of our holiday.

3 bedroom house near Napier

Great house and very comfortable but could have had more cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils because of distance from restaurants.

AMAZING

AMAZING, such a beautiful setting. We were a group of 6 (3 couples) and the house was perfect. Lovely communal areas, and beautiful rooms for privacy... it was great having our own bathrooms. The welcome bottle of bubbles was a really lovely touch.

Pleasant surprise with a large house in the middle of grape vines. Access to a first class restaurant 200m. away.

Perfect accomodation in wine country

Beautiful restored farmhouse. A perfect way to relax after visiting some of the wonderful vineyards in Hawkes Bay. Lovely and private.

It was a petfect place to stay with young kids. The spa pool was great.

The farmhouse was quiet and relaxing. A wonderful stay among the vines. The hot tub was wonderful and made for a nice evening at home. House was updated and stocked with most any item you might need.

We were positively surprised when we arrived at the Farmhouse. Our experience at the vineyard couldn't be better. We hope to be back someday.

A real unique vineyard stay experience

Everything is great. Great ambiance, big and comfortable unit, suitable for group of 4 to 6 people. BBQ/home party.

Warm and comfortable

Despite stormy cold weather the room was warm and very comfortable. Pleasant location amongst the vines.

Perfect getaway amongst the vines

Gorgeous house, lovely bottle of sparkling wine in the fridge! Perfect mix of everything to make a gorgeous romantic getaway! We loved the spa and waking up to the gorgeous view

Great vineyard setting within walking distance CBD

Pleasant modern fresh atmosphere. Unique concept of shared dining lounge but with adequate privacy . Bedrooms with separate decking facilities. Quiet vineyard setting.

Staying at the farmhouse was a highlight of our trip. It was lovely and the kids loved being right in the middle of the vineyards. The owners were especially helpful when we couldn't get the bbq started. They arrived in 5 minutes and sorted it all out. We loved it.

Pleasant farm house in the vineyards

Our one night stay at the farmhouse was pleasant. It was raining so we lit the gas fire and spent the rainy afternoon reading among the vineyards which was lovely. Although the house was well fitted out with full kitchen etc, there was a slight feeling of stinginess- I always feel a little disappointed when doors are locked to other bedrooms, and there is no loo paper or towels in a second bathroom, no books about to read, no sign of homeliness. It’s a tiny thing but just didn't feel generous. Dinner at Mission Estate restaurant was pleasant but not memorable. The dark red walls and corner table felt a bit stuffy and didn’t enhance the food experience. The bar seemed to be more open and have a livelier vibe.

Better then you'll expect...

Was better then I thought... Was expecting a room off the kitchen but had the whole house (except the 2 spare bedrooms) had a lovely catch up entertaining friends I haven't seen in over 20 years and able to use balcony in the arvo and fireplace at night... BLOODY BRILLANT Only downside is no electric blanket nut when you have a partner that helps..

Cosy well appointed little cottage, delightfully situated in the vineyard at the Mission. All we expected and more.

Great Wine Country Escape!

The Farmhouse at Mission Estate is a fantastic, luxury oasis with great beds and lots of space to enjoy the vineyard views and unwind in Wine Country. We stayed two nights and then came back for a third before heading back home to the United States. This reminded us of a Napa Valley get-away with a well-furnished small kitchen, beautiful decks, hot tub and lots of space for relaxing with family and friends.

Disorganised unpleasant staff

Booked and paid for this place months in advance for our wedding night. I'd even been in email contact and arranged for key pickup if we were late. Got the key from staff on the day and left our luggage in the room. 2 curt messaged phone messages left during our wedding ceremony, first saying the booking was 'invalid'. They did find alternate accommodation and our baggage was moved. We drove around about midnight after our ceremony to find our new accommodation. We really wanted to stay at the Farmhouse. Not even an apology or any followup. Overall, unprofessional, disorganised, rude. Boasting a quality product or some reputation is no excuse for callousness, disregard and snobbery.

Stylishly renovated and comfortable farmhouse

Thoroughly enjoyed our 'girls weekend' at the farmhouse in the grounds of Mission Estate. So stylish and comfortable, beautifully appointed with every comfort that you would require. Three fabulous bedrooms - each with en suite, plus an extra bathroom. Every bedroom had it's own outdoor seating plus outdoor spa where we enjoyed the complementary bottle of bubbles. Great kitchen with dishwasher and tv in each room. We ate at the Mission restaurant one night, which was fantastic and something else to cross off our bucket list. Mister D's restaurant for lunch and tried their syringe shot doughnuts! We also went on the Grape Experience wine tour which we really enjoyed. I would definitely recommend the farmhouse as a unique experience and will most certainly be back.

Surprised to find out there are three ensuite (3 washroom + 1 disable washroom) in the house. Originally the website stated only have 2 washroom. The environment was nice, facing the wine yards. It has a jacuzzi and bbq area which was nice to try. Overall the house was good for our families. And we tried the fine dining in the restaurant also - service & food was good. If there are more clothes hangers and hook for clothes - that will be great.

当日は他の宿泊者がいなくて我々のみの一棟貸切状態でした。とくに露天のジャグジーが最高でした。ただ、前々からレストランの予約依頼をしていたにもかかわらず当日になって休業とわかり、食事も楽しみにしていただけに残念でした。
