Room was comfortable and spacious, and there was easy access to the casino
Great stay.
Everything was perfect with the exception the tv didn’t work. Pretty minor for me though and I’m sure it was just my room. Otherwise awesome.
Fantastic upscale hotel right in downtown
So amazing!
Best stay in Vancouver!
I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in Vancouver and this is one of the best ones in terms of service and cleanliness.
Close to poker room
Great for a Staycay!
My siblings and I booked this hotel for my parents for their 40th wedding anniversary. They absolutely loved it including the dining options such as The Victor. They said the room was beautiful, clean and comfortable.
Amazing visuals of city
Shocked and disappointed
We were to get free breakfast but the hotel insisted that Hotels.com made an error. A top class hotel would have taken care of this discrepancy. Douglas did not and frankly we were shocked and amazed that they would simply pass the issue to the customer to deal with Hotels.com.
Nice Place
Limited acess to restaurant and bars due to 4 days of private events
Fantastic location next to BC Place and Rogers Arena and in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Super nice staff.
Your staff was bubbly and forthcoming to meet any of our needs thank you very much for taking such great care of us
execellent stay. Excellent staff particularly Nina at reception
It's just a room . No mini Bar other then water and 2 coffees and a tea . Nothing special about the room just a basic room even thou was supposed to be a suite . Very bad lighting , very dark and loud from the above rooms .
Amazing stay!
Amazing place to stay. Very accommodating, and very friendly staff! Would recommend this place time and time again.
Great hotel just needs a better gym
I stayed previously at the JW Marriott next door and loved it so was keen to try out its more chic neighbour this time. I wasn’t so impressed - room felt smaller, cramped and facilities at the hotel weren’t fully functional (broken ice machine on our floor, power outlets bedside that periodically didn’t work, seemed to be switched off, usually at night !?) and we had to cross the Douglas lobby in our wet robes coming back from using the gym/hot tub at Marriott — accessed through different lift and courtyard which is shared by all guests. Also found Douglas noisier than the JW Marriott at night. Wouldn’t choose it again - shame as I loved the decor and amenities.
This hotel is beautiful! The staff was amazing and super helpful. The casino on the premises is a nice way to get out and enjoy fun atmosphere. I will definitely stay here again!
Nice rooms and common areas. Helpful staff. Annoying club music on the 6th floor that goes until 2am on Saturday night that you can hear and feel in your room if you are on a lower floor (I was on the 8th floor).
Amazing staff service, and accommodation
You get what you pay for in all the best ways.

The staff and location are impeccable!
Good place
Great service
Awesome polite service oriented bellmen and cleaning staff, front desk girl was a bit snooty upon check in and check out though, why do these beautiful properties get tarnished with the staff that thinks us, the guests feel like we are applying to stay at their properties??!!!??? We are their bread and butter and should be treated with more kindness.
Hotel is excellent, with an upscale vibe to it. Arrived in Vancouver very early and the check in staff were very accommodating and found a room for us immediately.
Great Hotel
Great Hotel. Staff was friendly and attentive. Only negative was a random sewer gas smell/leak that occured very early in the morning and lasted for several hours. Otherwise, excellent hotel.
Overall our stay was great, staff attentiveness even better but my missing stars on the rating are because of a terrible smell we just couldn't figure out that would come in short whiffs. Realized at 5am while using the washroom on our last night that it was the cloth (not plastic or waterproof) shower curtain that would dry out after each of us showering and smell like mold, old wet towel or some sort of drain blockage. The smell would flow throughout the room anytime the door was opened or a/c was on and that is why it would come in short durations. I mentioned this very clearly at our checkout but it was not a big deal to them, future guests, if you are offered an “accessible room” do not take it as this cloth shower curtain is apparently the accessible part. Unfortunately at check in we were thankful to be offered this different “accessible” room in exchange for late checkout and unaware of the smell that came with it.
I was paying for a room and wanted to provide my Marriott credit card for the deposit so my friend didn’t need to use their card. You need an approval which takes 3 business days! INSANE! No other hotel has such a policy. Never stay again
Loved this hotel, was very happy with the staff. Will definitely be back again.
We had a horrible experience at this hotel. The hotel reception is right next to a club on the same floor, so we cannot hear the reception staff. At night, we have to go through the bouncers to access the hotel. We have a security concern as no room key is needed to access any floor of the hotel. We were given an accessible room, but that was not what we originally booked for. The water pressure from the taps are weak. The room itself was missing a couple of things. The remote control for the TV was not working. Upon arrival, the tissue box was already running low, and the bottle of body soap is completely empty. We contacted reception regarding the missing items, and complained that our room is not actually ready for occupying. She said they'll bring the items over and completely dismissed our concern. For a room that is meant for two guests, amenities came in single counts (i.e. 1 bath robe and 1 pair of slippers). There was no refrigerator, but a yeti cooler. Our room was next to the ice machine so we can hear people going in and out all night. The walls were thin and we can hear sounds from our neighbors. Our room is directly above the club, which was very noisy until 3 AM. We couldn't sleep until then, but the mattress is uncomfortable which adds to the problem. The ceilings were unfinished and we noticed mold that wasn't cleaned up properly after construction. That is definitely not part of the design. When checked out the reception didn't ask us how was the stay.
.
Fun
Nice hotel, I would imagine if they're were events at Rogers or BC place this area would become very busy but during our stay the hotel and area was quite. The lobby bar turns into a night club during the night making it a little awkward to access your room as you need to walk through the club line up to access the elevator. No real complaints, we enjoyed our stay here, would return
Best location
super clean, nice service. nice amenities. takes too much time. airbnb would be faster.
Wonder stay, thank you staff it was our anniversary and they left a delicious piece of cake in our room. Wonderful staff. Loved staying at your hotel. Thank you
Awesome stay
Very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. 10/10
The hotel had very poor soundproofing and the food was really bad. Upon check in room was not stocked properly and not cleaned well. Also not sure why they had coolers instead of mini fridges in the rooms. Service was also hit or miss, overall not an enjoyable stay.
D6 night club bass can be heard but it was tolorable before bed. Otherwise it was a great stay
The hotel Douglas was exquisite. The only recommendation would be that the room did not have a suitcase holder nor did the room have a dresser to store our clothes. But our stay was wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to others.
Other than a little more dust and bit more grime in the shower than expected for a higher end property I was very pleased with our stay.
Great vibe. Good safe location.
Stayed at the Douglas for a night and got the junior suite. Friendly staff and super clean. Great value for what you get.
Location was great and the staff were fantastic. We will definitely stay again our next time through Vancouver.
I would stay here again when in Vancouver
It was a good experince from check in to check oit
When I went to check out, I learned that room service had been wrongfully charged to my room. The clerk remained calm and professional throughout the entire ordeal. Ill admit, i was upset but it was figured out before i left. I will be returning again because that service was immaculate.
Such an awesome hotel! Beautiful and clean hotel, and accommodating staff who were so helpful and truly kind! We will definitely stay here again! Thank you!
Great property would certainly stay there again
We loved our stay. It's a gorgeous property and location is great. Only gripe is it's a bit light on dresser space so we had to get creative and use some shelves which clearly hadn't been dusted for a long time. But would still highly recommend the property. Everyone there was incredibly friendly and service was great. Rooms and property have very nice finishes and amenities.
We like here because it’s dog friendly and it’s super close to Rogers Arena, so we can walk back to the hotel after concert.
There was no fridge in the unit only a cooler from camping
Lovely boutique hotel in a convenient location. Very modern decor. Staff were excellent from check in to room attendants. Five stars for friendliness and attentiveness. Noise from 6th floor nightclub will be a problem if you are a light sleeper. We were on the 15th floor and it was thumping! Looked like a lot of fun though. Too bad we are too old to party that hard. Thanks Douglas for a great stay!
Beautiful hotel- staff was amazing and accommodating. Plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. Plush linens and great rainfall shower!
Great hotel
Great hotel ! I recommend it over JW Marriott anyday
Loved it a beautiful place excellent location.
good
Kenny and Eric at the front desk were a delight. Professional, quick and kind service. Kenny made our stay unforgettable, above and beyond. Our stay wouldn’t have been the same without him. THANK YOU!!! Will be returning in the future.
Perfect place to stay Clean and relaxing,
This hotel was by far the cleanest building I have used in the last few years. It is ultra modern and comfortable. Each staff person we encountered was helpful and friendly. Cudos to each and everyone on staff.
Exceptional Service!
We were celebrating several family events and the Douglas made each one of them feel special! We felt celebrated and extremely well accommodated! Thank you for paying attention to every little detail!
Upon check in, the room was not ready for us and it was after 6pm. We waited about 15 min before it was ready. They compensated us $100 for the inconvenience but that still seemed inadequate. When asking for our room to be turned down, we also asked for the soap in the shower to be filled since it was out however that was not done. The room did not have a fridge/freezer, just a yeti cooler that you have to fetch ice for. The facilities were very pretty and the bed was lovely. The casino was a nice convenience for entertainment.
Beautiful property in an amazing location.
Hotel is nice but there are a few service things they need to tighten up.
On the 3rd night of our stay, my parents’ phone charger was missing after our room was cleaned (USB C cable). There was a charger left behind that was not compatible with our phones (Lightning cable) and the cord was plugged in the opposite side of the bed that our charger was originally plugged in when we left the room. We brought this the front desks attention immediately. They said the housekeeper didn’t take it but would replace our cord for us. They commented that the housekeeper has an iPhone 14 (which uses a lightning cable not USB C). My parents were given a used and dirty cable to use – we cleaned the cord twice with alcohol pads and it was still dirty. Our problem isn’t the cost of the cord but the lack of management with housekeeper – they commented that employees aren’t supposed to charge their personal phones in hotel rooms – based on what happened it seems like the housekeeper was charging their phone during cleaning and accidentally took the wrong cord. They may not want to admit that they were doing so as it’s against employee policy, but if they had admitted as such then we wouldn’t be as upset as we are now (in addition to the subsequent responses from several managers). Several mishaps happened after (including claiming to do investigation but the incorrect date/time of footage reviewed were given, acknowledging they wouldn’t call my dad after hours but still interrupted his sleep, promising to email/call me after check-out to follow-up but didn’t).
Top notch location, with excellent staff and facilities.
Great Experience! Wonderful hotel.
Great property Decent amenities around the hotel. Walkable to most things However, A bit on the pricier side
Excellent stay
Nice hotel, great location for Bc Place and Roger’s arena
Beautiful hotel with excellent staff!
Great stay!
Lovely hotel, service was top notch.
Nice
Found the staff to be quite rude, very mid experience compares to other autograph properties. Can find much better in Van.
Excellent place
Great place, close to the best of Vancouver. We will stay there when we come back to BC.
Nice spacious suite
great
Yeti cooler instead of mini fridge was interesting.........
Clean, beautiful decor, lovely staff. Only complaint are the pillows were too big and stiff.
Beautiful room, very friendly staff. Great location for a stay to attend a Canucks game.
Thank you to Eis for his hospitality and helpfulness.
One of if not the nicest hotel i’ve stayed at in Vancouver, staff is beyond friendly and helpful and my room was very clean and nice. Will definitely come back for the next stay in vancouver
Excellent service! Friendly staff!
We had a fantastic time at the Douglas Autograph hotel! Theres plenty of bakeries, coffee shops, cafes and bars around the hotel. It is located in Yaletown near all major attractions. The hotel feels very luxurious and the service was outstanding. I would recommend it if you are looking for a great stay with lots of entertainment options within the hotel. We found it a bit too noisy for our liking. We could hear parties and people leaving the casino throughout the night. If you are a light sleeper and like to wake up early, this hotel might not be ideal for you. However, we found that most hotels in the downtown core are surrounded by lots of entertainment, so noise is going to be hard to avoid, especially on the weekend. I would also note that the hotel was very accommodating when it came to check in/check out time and was willing to go above and beyond to help us. This left a very good impression for us and we look forward to staying at other Autograph locations in the future.
This hotel delivers upon a unique boutique hotel experience, from the decor, service, property amenities (restaurants, casino, lounge) and location we throughly enjoyed our stay. First time would recommend and will definitely be back.
We had a wonderful time in Vancouver. The hotel staff were excellent and the room was very comfortable.
Great decor through out
It was clean and the staff made an extra effort at all times.
Cozy, stylish, and romantic! Everything under the same roof. Fantastic hotel. My wife and I loved.
Guarantee that your room will be quiet especially at night
Terrible security re noise
Best room cleaning in between nights I’ve ever had
Excellent, well managed hotel. One of the nicer properties I have stayed in. You get what you pay for. Zero complaints
We’ve stayed at the Parq before but this was the first time at the Douglas. The suite was massive and beautiful! We loved the decor and the layout of the unit. We had our dog with us and he loved it too. I highly recommend this hotel and all of the staff were amazing and very welcoming and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the week long stay!
Our first time staying at this hotel and it was great. We will be returning. The BC Market restaurant was very good, with great food and service. The room service was very good and fast and easy to order via the online order system. The only area that we thought could use some attention is the in-room coffee but it wasn't terrible.
