Beautiful looking hotel, very friendly and helpful staff.
Flood in the room
Aircon leaked in the room. We were evacuated to another room whereupon the same thing happened again. During the process of complaining No manager has made any attempt to reach out and address these issues
Not great
Stayed for one night, hotel is on a very busy road with people and vehicles going up and down all night so as our room was on the front we were kept awake. The staff in the check in desk were not helpful when we needed help with the tv and wifi and said it must be our phones and we would figure it out. We were privided with more pillows when we asked. Tea and coffee were kept in a cupboard which was a pain. The carpet was stained and ild and tiles in the bathroom were cracked. The water for a bath was luke warm at best. The bar had limited opening. On a plus point the room and bathroom were big as was the tv akd the bed was really comfortable.
Used to be good but I would now say avoid.
Great location for visiting London from the North. Secure Underground parking is £19.95 not £18 as advertised. Quick checkin to a lovely room. Comfy bed and lovely bathroom. Flat screen tv. On way to room I noticed a food offering advertised at least 4 times for Burger and a Pint. Went down to bar to order and was told it wasn’t available at that price. Complained and after having to go to front desk got the offer. Would only give me the offer on a beef burger and not on a vegan bean burger. Burger were very tasty. Great nights sleep. Went for shower ant 8am and no warm water. Due to engagements had to have cold wash. Told reception on way to breakfast 8.30 am. I went to work and my partner stayed in room waiting to have a bath. At 10.20 she was told there was an issue and they were looking for something to reboot. Heard nothing more so she went without her bath. Came back at 4pm and when I asked at reception they said it was fixed. Went to room and key been deactivated due to having booked two night seperately although was told when checking in they would sort. Had to trail back to reception. Hot water was working when we got in room to check but why did they not tell us earlier or leave a note to say so? Am staying another night as too late to go elsewhere so let’s hope things improve as I think it totally unacceptable to pay £135 a night plus £20 parking for a room with no hot water.
Good distance
Very friendly staff
The team were excellent from the minute I arrived. Room was very clean and pleasant temperature. The only thing I would have liked was pillow protectors and feel the pool access could be included for the steep cost per night of the room. Convenient parking if a little pricey.
Enjoyed staying at hotel. Clean, comfortable and friendly, helpful staff. Would definitely return.
Very comfortable
Very polite and kind Staff. The breakfast was very delicious. There are bus lines that leave in the center that pass right in front of the hotel. We love the silence at the hotel.
Good place to stay when your in London
Bath tub didnt drain, no shampoo, tv dodnt work very well, The was a big (spit, lugger) on the door frame on rhe door. Area sucked dirty, beggers by the ton and really the staff were not nice, all and all, don't recomend it to anyone
Disappointing
No extra pillows or blankets in wardrobe as written on hotel description on hotels.com. Soap dispenser was snapped off wall, no shower head on the shower so was just a hollow pipe on the wall that shot out one powerful jet of water. Room was cold, no secure guest wifi. Parking restrictions aren't clear, paid online on the app, when asked hotel staff which car park was which, they couldn't advise.
Staff it was amazing, highly recommended, good price for London
Excellent hotel. Definitely best stay in North West London. Had great nights sleep. Highly recommend
While I thought the hotel was beautiful, the environment felt a bit stuffy. The staff was pleasant, but thats all. The room was maintenanced every afternoon, but there are issues wirh the structure and such that need fixed or updated. Overall, good enough place. Good location for transportation.
Great location to everything especially Wembley Stadium. Good bus and train routes.
Only 1 lift was working for duration. No signage that the other was broken or that engineer had been contacted - just stuck on 3rd floor
Work trip
Massive room - very friendly staff
Overnighter
The reception lady was very good, very talkative and very helpful
Two-night stay in Cricklewood
The hotel was fine and exactly like in the photos. Our room was rather used and the bathroom not so clean. Staff was nice and ready to help at any hour. The hotel is situated in a not so nice neighborhood but it is well reachable with public transport.
Always a good stay
Family trip to London
The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit old but has two good-sized elevators. My room could use more lighting, but it’s spacious enough for a family of four. There are many restaurants, bakeries, and food trucks close by. Two train stations are also within a 5 to 15-minute walk.
Hotel aesthetically 4 star hut standards 2.5 star
The staff were lovely and tried hard but some basic issues in the hotel that need addressing There seems to be a problem about checking out late. They advertise late check out, but then tried to charge £20 per hour. It has a very desperate feel about it. Hotel spacious, clean and staff try to be helpful. Mussed fridges in rooms
Good but tired
Beautiful building, decent breakfast, good pub, service was good. Place is seriously let down as it seriously needs ome love. It has a load of bodge job repairs and work done to it. Theres a big dead tree in reception that no ones bothered to water for example. Seems like no one loves the place which is a real shame as it could be an amazing hotel. Location is either a 3 min walk to overground or 10 min walk to the tube. Slightly ropey neighbourhood though.
Hotel was a perfect location and breakfast was good. Need more toilet paper in bathroom for family of 4.
The property hasn’t been invested in for some time. The rates offered reflect this to a degree.
The staff at the hotel deserve special praise for their professionalism. Unfortunately, the property was terribly subpar and I wanted to leave immediately but the Guest Relations officer persuaded me to spend the night and promised to change my room the following morning.I I had a constructive dialogue with the General Duty Manager, Mr. Bartek, who took my complaints in stride and promised to escalate my experience to Corporate. My overall experience was negative, as the property is very outdated and the cleanliness left much to be desired. If you don't mind an unmodernised room, then it would be fine to sleep in only.
Nice
Comfortable bed & pillows, nice hot shower, room spacious, clean & quiet. Staff polite & friendly. Car park underground £19.95 for 24 hours via NCP app, seemed reasonable for London., buffet style, full English & continental, no complaints. Beautiful Victorian building with many original features.
Decent
The room was fine for a typical hotel. The wall lamps were not bolted properly and if you barely touched them they would turn upside down. Annoying and the carpet cou definitely use a shampoo but other that that it was fine.
very nice stay for a few days. easily accommodated 4 people. conveniently located close to the train station and local markets and bakery. staff was very friendly.
The hotel was good. The menu was very limited; advertised menus in the lifts were not available. The gym machines were not able to switch on as the plugs were missing, the gym had no wipes or cups. The pool was not in use.
Rooms are very dated and unclean. The curtains was filthy with various stains all over and unable to shut them properly due to being broken. No effort to soundproof so can hear all the road noise and other guests. Rooms are very big and rail and underground station close by making it easy to travel
The hotel itself was decent. The check in staff were very nice. I booked this hotel because it was close to Wembly Stadium. However it wasn’t convenient for going to anywhere else in London. It was a 15-20 minute walk, or you could take the bus, to the Underground. The neighborhood seemed very run down. A lot of men hanging out on the streets and we were a mom and daughter walking. Our room was decent, but never was cleaned during our 4 day stay. We had one towel each and ran out of paper. There was a restaurant and bar, but we did not try it. I would stay in central London next time.
Wembley stay
We stayed here for AC/DC consort, hotel was fine but the area surrounding was not good.
Stay is comfy, nothing big to complain
Staff are amazing, always helpful. They will even call to the room and see if you need anything. Location is great, very close to the train station. The stay is close to perfect, except there is no mini fridge in the room. If you need to store anything in the fridge, there is a common one in the reception, which is still super easy. Also be prepared you won't be provided with any disposable consumables like slippers and toothpaste, which is environmental friendly. Another small problem is the self check in and out kiosk. The idea is great but it failed in both check in and out. There is no spare room key next to the kiosk, so you can only check in with staff assistance. Tried to self-check out, but there is no place to leave the room key unless you give it to the staff. But the queue in reception was not long, so not a big deal.
I have only one thing to say. The service in the restaurant is not good, one of the Girls is talking to her collegues and i had to make a notise of myself. Friday a lady whated 7-8 min til she came
One night stay for a concert. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Small double beds but comfortable. Rooms could have been a little cleaner
It wasn’t like the pictures. Staff was very rude. Unhelpful area wasn’t safe at all. Air conditioning wasn’t working well. Restroom smells very bad. We completed about smell they said they will fix it and change our room but they didn’t do anything
Lovely hotel and very friendly staff
Bus stops outside hotel for tube and rail services, 5 minute trip. Plenty of restaurants and fast food outlets within 2 mins walk, hotel is clean and the breakfast is lovely, staff very helpfull
Great hotel
Beautiful building, staff are amazing very helpful and polite. Public transport limited but ubers easily obtained. Area itself is a bit dirty and rundown.
Good hotel but wouldn’t stay here again
The place is old, rooms are big, and the hotel overall is good but the area is not pretty at all. Food at the hotel is really bad and metro station is far from the hotel. The best thing about the hotel, which I would give 5 stars, is the hotel staff. They went out of their way to provide the best service possible. First time in London but wouldn’t come back to this hotel.
Room was great, price was great. Only vomment is that the gym was missing all the weights and wasnt managed well. Otherwise, the stay was fantastic. Certainly recommend
I'll be back
I thought this was an excellent little hotel. It's in a transitional neighborhood but wonderfully diverse. I found a little Park just around the corner where I was able to sit and read quietly for a couple of hours and there's a fabulous bakery right across the street that opens at 5:00 a.m..
Extended stay as was excellent for my requirements
Great size room with good facilities in a good location and friendly, helpful staff.
Needs updating
Nice size room a bit run down needs updating breakfast very good location good broken shower head
Crown hotel cricklewood
Comfy room returned late due to no taxis available after event. Would have liked some soft drinks in fridge. Had to settle for tap water. Coffee and tea available but not what we wanted early hours.
Run down, not a 4 star , poor service at breakfast
Booked an accessible room with separate beds due to a broken ankle 10 days before stay. on arrival, confirmed by phone. ( in wheelchair) told could have either a room with accessible shower or separate beds, not both. had to go for separate beds so no risk of getting ankle knocked in the night. couldn't climb into bath. hadto access bfast through dirty conference room, took ages to get there, sat and waited for staff, was then 10 am & told bfast closed, staff turned off toaster as husband trying to make me some toast , and grabbed his arm. breakfast staff rude & unhelpful ( Rachelle) patronising.
Overnight stay for Wembley concert
Perfect for overnight stay whilst visiting Wembley. Room was clean & functional, staff, especially in restaurant, were friendly & helpful. Will definitely recommend
Good
It was an amazing stay for a reasonable price
The elevator has not been working for couple of months so we had to take our luggage to 4th floor by climbing steps. The receptionist told me that it has not been working for couple of months and the new management is not fixing it
We were booked in for breakfast but when we went down we were told we hadn't booked , i did say i had booked and offer proof to be told no , when booking out we spoke to the manager who did say he would refund us the value of 4 breakfast. Would i stay again no .
The property seems dated and in need of refurbishment.
Great for London Trip
We use this hotel for trips to london especially for Wembley events . Not over priced rubbish like in central London.Tube not yo far away . Has it's own underground car park (1st come 1st served) great Staff , different restaurants near by . We really like this hotel .
Lack of working shower
Check in was smooth, well situated next to Cricklewood station and 10-15 minutes to the underground - ideal for Wembley. Minor issues with lights not working, no English breakfast tea, bit run down - but not much problem! When we turned the shower on in the morning it came out as one forceful stream. Unusable. Took a photo and video to show them on checking out. We were told by the Duty Manager Akhil that there are two sides to the hotel and the showers are like this on that side and he pointed. We weren't on that side, and couldn't believe this was how the shower should be. He kindly offered to show us - we went into a room and it wasn't the same at all, the showers had the same showerheads but had individual sprays coming out of the head, not one heavy stream thundering into the bath! We showed him again and told him that's not what our shower was like, and he apologised and offered us a drink from the bar - we were checking out for our train. He took my name and contact details. I've since had an email from Akhil offering us 25% off our next stay in Cricklewood in the next 12 months. Even if we came to London we wouldn't likely stay in Cricklewood again, and we don't often travel to London anyway! We advised him of this and he responded that's their standard policy. We paid for a room with bathroom, and didn't have a usable shower. Although polite and amenable, this is an incredibly disappointing response from the hotel. Would not recommend to others based on this.
Hotel was excellent with friendly staff, tube station only 15 min walk.
Would stay again.
Nice hotel, good location and friendly staff.
Very good all round
Terrible smell from the room on the safe window wouldn’t lock
Very poor service at reception kept waiting nearly two hours to check in. Was told they were looking for beds and were taken to the bar and given a free drink after waiting over an hour, when we got our room it was not as booked ie single beds instead of doubles.
Good value for money and in a good location fir our event in Wembley stadium
Staff were very helpful. Very clean hotel. I would stay here again. Train station 15 mins away. 5 minutes to tube station. The hotel has some beautiful features but the plumbing system was a bit noisy.
How quiet it was thanks
good hotel - good bus route to wembley
The elevator not working, I was sick with terrible flu in the 6 floor terrible.
Checking in was disaster, When I was checking in the noise level in the building was worse than the nightclub couldn’t hear the receptionist trying to check me in.. The staff did not seem bothered about this. I complained to the manager on duty tells me that it’s the law and it’s okay to be noisy until midnight. I was absolutely flabbergasted! The hotel itself is actually really nice, but that particular experience was a complete letdown
Ok for a night
Basics are ok. But run down smelly and very loud
Very good for transport and food.
Delayed check in
Not happy with the check in, we were unable to check in on arrival and waited 1 hour and 30 mins after check in time due to room not being ready. Reception advised room still being cleaned and would advise when ready. When finally got to room after the 1 hour 30 mins the cleaners were still cleaning the room and we had to wait outside room for another 15 minutes. This caused other plans to be changed.
No breakfast teabags otherwise spot on.
Save your money and eyes
We had one stay here, 2 adults and 2 children. Everything was shabby. Not at all as in the pics. The ceiling was crumbling, the carpet was stained many places, the tun was dirty, the curtains were falling down because the rod was not fixed to the ceiling anymore. It was so bad. In the bathroom there was a hole in the wall. The tv remote batteries were hold in by tape. We have pictures of everything. I went down to the front desk and the receptionist said it is an old hotel. I felt so bad for her. She must have heard this before. Oh and this was a deluxe double room. We were moved to 2 junior suites. It was just okay. In the bathroom the towel warmer thing was so so so hot, that I burned my arm and had to hold it under cold water. I now have a 5 cm long red burn.
Overall very good
Great stay! Was very happy to use the gym a few times! Thanks a lot!
Windowless room power cut
Okay for a short time
This hotel is good for a quick, short trip if you need to stay somewhere for a few nights - but the hotel definitely needs some improvements. The good: I came for a business conference and the conference room space was very nice. The hotel was in an area that had lots of food options and shopping nearby. The bad: The hotel was pleasant initially but the room has a bit of an odor. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling and I noticed the smell after showering. The bed was very stiff - I was so tired it didn’t matter much, but it wasn’t very comfortable. The carpet had a stain on it so I wish the property was a bit cleaner.
Woken up at 7am by the fire alarm… TWICE. Then at 9:00 a knock at the door from a member of staff asking us what time are we thinking of checking out so they can clean the room. I was of the understanding check out was 11am.
The room was large and spacious. Despite telling them there was no wifi access in the room they insisted there was. I could pick it up by the elevator. I had to work in the lobby to complete my assignments. The bathroom had cracked tile on the floor and there was a warning to use the bath mat in the shower, but there was no bath mat. Yes I slipped but caught myself on the bath rail so no serious injury. The shower curtain was orange at the bottom with mold just starting to grow. It had not been changed out in quite a while.
Mixed
Good: friendly service throughout, very spacious room for family of 4, nice bathroom, clean, breakfast Not so good: arrived at 1pm and couldn’t check in until 2pm (no problem as check is was 2pm), but then had to wait in reception until 3pm as the room wasn’t ready. Reception did give us 2 pizzas and soft drinks the day after and this was nice. Air con was very loud
Crown hotel Cricklewood
Staff were very unorganised had to Walk away and sit down for 10 mins as they couldnt work syste properly and allocate me a room when i went back to reception it was a different member of staff the only window i had was at other side of bath had all broken protection on it and all the woodwork was black like mold there was no lift working i have heart problems so i had to walk to 4th floor and the next morning they still were not working so i wont.stay thete agai
Great hotel in buzzing Cricklewood
Very nice hotel with friendly staff in buzzing area. Very pleasant light and airy foyer/reception area. 15 minutes walk to tube alternatively plenty of buses. Slight negative couldn’t get a coffee in the bar in the evening
Our stay was absolutely horrendous. The first time we get to the room, the thermostat was at 85° in our room. We had to switch rooms but the worst part was the service. We had to request housekeeping 3 times in one day then someone finally showed up. We kept going to the front desk and no one did anything until we finally got it. Then she didn’t even put the sheets on the bed, she handed it to us and then left. One of the worst hotel experiences we’ve delt with. I don’t know who rated this hotel 4 stars but they need their account deleted.
Handy place to stay
Hotel reception staff were very welcoming. We asked to change our room as the first one smelt of smoke but this was done very quickly. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for a one night stay. The breakfast was good too - mostly buffet but we requested a vegetarian version from the menu which was nice. Parking was available right outside, a bit expensive but it was good for a central London hotel that there was some. Thank you.
Clean spacious and comfortable family room
We wanted a good value room to fit a family of 4 for a trip to London. This was perfect. We had a lean, spacious and comfortable family room. Pritana was helpful with storing our luggage when we arrived. We were able to walk to the tube in 15 minutes and we were happy with the breakfast provided in the morning. Perfect for what we wanted!
No one answered phones, first night room was not cleaned (only new towels were placed).
Excellent Service
The area of "Cricklewood", did not seem like a safe area. I certainly didn't feel safe. The rooms were not very clean, and we found a couple bugs in our room. We asked to be moved, and they (reluctantly) agreed. They gave us a key for another room, which was OCCUPIED!! The people in there were not too happy to have us opening the door (there is no latch to secure the door). They finally found a room for us. I called expedia, to tell them that I am not comfortable here, not happy with this selection. They told me that they could do nothing for me. I spent one night here (of 4 booked nights). Then booked a hotel in another area...There is no tube station nearby here.
Great location. Property is not very clean
Room & bathroom a little dated. However overall stay was a pleasant one. Getting into the underground car park isn’t for the faint hearted. No mention of VIP rewards upon check inn.
Nice cozy and comfortable
It was a very convenient spot, the food place’s surrounding them were amazing and so yummy. if there was a problem in the room the staff immediately took care of it!
Remote control did not work in the room for the TV, shower was terrible. Rooms and hotel were very clean and tidy.
Smelly, dirty, badly maintained
The hotel looks nice, but i was put in a dirty, smelly room overlooking the swimming pool. The Gym here is a health hazzard, do not be fool by thee picturesAir con didn't work and has made me ill, no tea and coffee in the room. The room smelled like a cross between chlorine and badly maintained air conditioning units. Staff didn't seem bothered. TV didn't work properly. All in, not a great place to stay, most Premier inn hotels are better. This is not a good hotel!!!
The hotel is in a good loction to access both central and north west london, The hotel in areas needs some attention but on the whole for the price is ok. However I would recommend on check in ask if you have a connecting door in your room. Unfortunately I was assigned a room with a connecting door which was not an issue until late at night when the noise level of the next room prevented me from sleeping.
The place it was a good condition.
Best of a bad bunch of hotels in the area. Check in took 3 atremps as the first two rooms had issues. The bathroom shower was full of mould/limescale. The extractor fan didn't work. Thr room was not cleaned on one of the days. The tea/coffee supllies were not replaced. The gym wad gull of broken equipment and was not cleaned or attended to all week. The parking is extortionate at £19.95 per night. The pool is extenrwlly owned and guests cannot use it. All of the 'secure' doors for guests are left open so anybody can walk in. Thr location is horrible and the overall experience was terrible. I would rather stay in a travelodge and that says something.
Poor Room, Friendly Staff.
The air con unit did not work. We had to request pillows as they weren’t in the cupboard. There was no hairdryer. The shower head was not adjustable. The bed mattress was dead. The lighting was very poor (no main light) Phone in the room was faulty and didn’t connect. No nice restaurants around other than pricey, limited choice included.
I actually really liked this venue and wanted to come back and the room was cold, we had move rooms after it was beyond freezing, we didn’t get upgraded which was slightly frustrating given our second visit there, to be honest, given the inconvenience of 2am move, I think a refund or a free visit should be offered
My partner and I had booked an execute suite but it was a lot smaller. The staff were warm and welcoming when it came to changing the room. However, our new room smelt like damp but was generally clean besides the smell

Clean, large, comfortable room. Huge bathroom with lovely powerful shower. Easy to get into central London via overground from Cricklewood station. Friendly, helpful staff.
