Love Atlantis
I mean truly remarkable a must return.
Good waterpark
Liked the all inclusive.
This properly are family oriented
Amazing property to walk around and see an amazing diversity of marine life in the many outdoor pools. Food was pricey compared to other destinations we've been to, including St Marteen. A lot o activities require a pretty pricet cost to do.
enjoyed the sea life around the hotel.
Pools not usable! The water is so cold it’s not fun at all. Go stay at the Grand Hyatt they have pools that’s heated and amazing dining. Don’t waste your money at Atlantis. It’s dated and ratchet.
I give a 10 ouf of 10 to the consumer service. It was such a great experience for me
Outstanding. Service was friendly and hospitable. Room was impeccable and perfect for our needs. Will definitely be back. Don’t hesitate. Go for it!
This was the perfect vacation spot while traveling with young children and the staff were all very helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay.
All the staff were very welcoming and pleasant from beginning to end. The accommodations were very comfortable with the exception of work they were performing for upgrades in the front entrance. Overall the stay was enjoyable.
Property conveniently located near Marina Village, eateries and casino. Easy access to pools and beaches. Nice lobby lounge and pastry/coffee. 2 minute walk through shops to get to Royal lobby.
It was outdated and smelled like mildew everywhere.
I love Atlantis. I've been going with my family for nearly 25 years. The vision, the idea is still as astonishing as it was when it opened. And each time we go back seeing for the first time through someone else's eyes is wonderful... but then reality. The food is the hardest part. It's so bad. And so inconsistent. And so eyewateringly expensive. Whatever plan you have, whatever your budget, whatever your hopes. It all gets destroyed in the food and activity fees. People say you can work around it, go off resort, bring snacks, all kinds of ideas... but why? You came for an experience, paid all the money, and then live like a starving student out partying. They just gotta clean the place up, motivate the staff, and show some mercy with the food and activities. No one in the world will go home happy from a $60 USD/person round of mini-golf.
the room was really small for 4 people, only one chair in the room and 2 on the patio
Enjoyed every minute. Found all the elevators and ramps for wheelchairs.
Food and amenities
The property close to my room is very noisy. Theres so much construction going on everywhere. The room lobby stinks. Theres one night the other room woke up in the middle of the night asking for help cause his room was leaking.
Pretty dated place. Think of a Hampton inn near a beach and a water park. Room fridge is a dorm fridge. In room coffee is awful. They chisel you at every turn for $30. Internet is $25 per day. Because I booked with Expedia and not them, they forced me into the Royal, no terrace, they made believe it was an upgrade. 3 stars because I enjoyed myself but if you don’t have kids, go elsewhere in the Bahamas. The restaurant mix is fun but will cost you $300 minimum for 2 unless you only order appetizers and no drinks.
$$$$$, says it all! You feel isolated from any bahamian culture. Basically it felt like an all linclusive with out food, water etc. So expect to pay at least 100 for every meal for 2 adults and 2 kids. FYI... there is a hotel a few steps away for 1/4 oof what u pay of the coral and, and it includes admittance to the park!
At night at the Coral the hotel room does make random noises. Not sure if it was the vent or what. The sheets and towels can smell better as well. The hotel is also freezing while walking in the halls. The water park at Atlantis has no hot tubs which I think was needed because it was chilly when I went in January. Theres not even a sauna anywhere. Overall I had so much fun and would for sure recommend. Nothing is inclusive besides the water park. The people are nice as well.
Beds are hard and meals are very expensive
Clean
great will be back
The Coral is definitely the lower class of the Atlantis fleet. It is dated and old. It had a permanent mildew smell regardless of where you are. The staff for the most part are not helpful. They will just point or tell you whatever to get you to go away. I had a suite and could not use my main TV. The remote was missing for 6 days. Would not recommend
Everything you need is on property and they make it super convenient by being able to charge everything to your room (even Starbucks!). They don't cheap out on alcohol, the pours are very fair for the price. The food options are great! There are so many places to get salads and vegetables, rather than just fried food or burgers. The water park is awesome and the conservation efforts are great. You can see so many different aquatic animals on the premises. The negative, it's costly. For a family of 4, you should budget about $200 usd per day that you're there for food and drinks. If you're going to the casinos, drinking more, or doing upscale dining of course add more.
Need a complete renovation and staff need some training in customer service.
Not so updated like the royal and the cove - Also far from all the activities. would have paid more to stay at royal or cove - had the description been clear.
This is family-friendly hotel.
Staff and employees are the nicest people i have been around. Excellent service
The property has a very strong odor related to age. Other parts of the property smell more clean and fresh
Dates and needs renovation
Beautiful and very well maintained resort, and the water adventure sports are just amazing, lines are not crazy long even in this peak holiday season, But the best part of Atlantis is all the aquatic life and the aquariums throughout the property, beautiful and so serene, you can watch them for hours. Also this is one of the best beaches I have visited with white sands and turquoise water. The Atlantis beach chairs are available for all guests which is really convenient. Loved everything about Atlantis and would love to come back soon!
Our family of 3 (2 adults and a 10 year old kid) stayed at Coral two times in 2024 (first time in July, second time in November) because of the very attractive price per stay that was offered both times. The Atlantis itself is amazing! The Coral is a bit outdated, the room was very clean, but outdated, the beds were very old, everythinng in the room was actually very old, it was a long time ago when it was updated. The Poseidon table-all inclusive buffet that is located in the main lobby of the Atlantis was really good, super clean, lots of food choices, such great staff. Highly recommend! The Cove beach that is located close to Coral hotel is such an amazing beach! Though requires some walk from Coral. Had such a great family time.
Good
Good, but old. Excellent service in the hotel, but not good in the restaurants. Tip are automatically added to the bill so the staff doesn’t go out of there way to be helpful. Nassau is run down but Paradise islands is beautiful. No real need to leave the facility. The place feels like a carnival cruise ship. But it is once in a life time experience for every family…from little babies up to teens.
Took my daughter here for her birthday weekend and it was fun for both us and her! There was sooo many things to do, and the restaurant options is immaculate. Would highly recommend!! And will definitely be back!
Nice hotel but the food options not really good and overpriced.
Everything is beautiful but food is very expensive
I didn't have to leave the resort everything was right there staff very friendly
The service was great but it was a bit noisy
Amazing place to be. We will miss it!
Upgrades are needed
Coral itself needs renovation, but the surrounding area offers excellent opportunities for sunbathing, swimming, and relaxing at the bar. More active lifestyle supported as well. Dining options are diverse, but fine dining experiences vary significantly between establishments. Silon boasts exceptional cuisine and service, while Nobu, despite its reputation, exhibits a sense of mass production, particularly in the service department.
Construction drove me insane. It was in the front of the building and also above our room. There is also limited dining options for little kids/toddlers. The pool waters are freezing so be prepared. It was our first trip with our toddler and we probably will not come back.
The hotel is absolutely great and an amazing price to stay and be close to everything and have access to all. The Coral is overall a bit more outdated but the rooms are clean and not bad to be honest, yes the Royal is more fancy but how much time are you spending in a room with a beach steps away. For families and less busier it’s a great option. The staff are all friendly, kind and respectful, such great people! To anyone who gives Bahamas or the hard working staff bad reviews, perhaps you should just not visit this gorgeous island! Thank you to all at the Coral Atlantis, I have visited before however this was a first for our 4 year old and I truly believe that she will never forget this vacation! Til next time 😊
It was fun
Pretty clean, staff very friendly. Hotel could use some updating. Downside is that pool/private beach on property closes too early at 5pm.
The property its self is fine. I stayed in the royal tower a month prior to this stay at the Coral. I chose the coral based on the fact is was cheaper than the royal tower. My honest review is that I was a little disappointed in my room at the coral. I was on the third floor room 3305. We didn’t have a view of the ocean or resort. We had a view of some trees and the building. I didn’t like that. I had to get use to the room. Also the bed is different from the royal tower beds. Also the room had a weird smell kind of. I had to get use to the room, I had to suck it up and accept it. You get what you pay for. If anything I honestly think I would have been happier with the room if I chose an ocean or resort view. Even though I stayed in the royal towers before I will say I like the location of the coral tower better. This review is solely based on the room tier I choose.
Food was great, staff fantastic. Very clean, plus you can walk to everything. Great for families or any type of vacation. They have it all here.
I love that the resort has a lot to explore. We found new things to see every day. The resort's food options are quite pricey ($2.50 for a banana) but there are less expensive food options just outside of the resort grounds that are very good. I definitely recommend Atlantis is you are a person who likes to walk and who is interested in seeing different things.
The aquariums were amazing. The theme is very well put together however, there was construction going on that made enjoying my actual room very hard due to the beeping of trucks and men yelling outside my window starting at 5/6am every morning. At least give me notice at booking. The ice machine on my floor was leaking which made the whole floor smell the entire week. Nothing is included for the amount of money you spend on this place its definitely for the aqua life upkeep bc you get nothing lol.And there was limited night entertainment unless you were into the casino, luxury shopping or a child.
Construction work was annoying and loud
Too many restaurants were closed. Especially the deli being closed on Sunday was a surprise
Fantastic stay for our honeymoon, could not have been happier
We came to the Coral for a week with high expectations to celebrate our daughter's birthday. From the first day, the toilet was clogged every day (except for the last two)! We were promised to fix everything, to move us if the problem repeated, but it recurred day after day. We also asked for 2 glasses in the room two days before the birthday, then the day before, then on the birthday, in the end they brought 3 glasses for water the day before our departure. Well, they didn't congratulate our daughter in any way, this is a trifle, although it was unpleasant. Also, the condition of the rooms could have been improved (not critical). Public places look great, it's nice to walk, look at different fish, turtles, sharks and rays in huge pools, ride water attractions. The beach is clean, with crystal water. Being on the beach of the Reef is a separate pleasure: the sand is white and soft, the water is always clean and there are almost no waves. There are many cafes and restaurants on the territory of the hotel where there is delicious food, but the cost is quite high. There was a trip to the swimming pigs - if you have children it's worth it, but we didn't take it at the hotel, but in Nassau Downtown (at the hotel it was 4 times more expensive: 400/100$). In general, if it weren't for the service and the condition of the room, the rating would be the highest.
Such a beautiful place that will leave you speechless
I love how all hotels were connected and we had access to all amenities pools activities water park etc on resorts it was very simple and convenient. You get you moneys worth . Staff was welcoming and helpful for all our needs .
This hotel is amazing from the staff to the many options you have for dining. It’s been an incredible experience.
The staff was beyond amazing!
Recommend staying at Atlantis property
My stay at the Coral at Atlantis in the Bahamas was amazing.
Gatlinburg of the Bahamas
It was impossible to find somewhere to eat outside, or go to a real beach.
Na
Loved it didn’t want to leave
Very clean
Great family vacation. Will absolutely return! Definitely recommend!
The Coral is dated. We’ve stayed at other hotels at the Atlantis and they were much nicer.
Disappointing Experience with Some Highlights
We recently visited Atlantis Bahamas with our family, including young children, and had high hopes given the resort’s reputation. Unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. We had been offered an upgrade before arrival, which we accepted, but upon check-in at the Coral Tower, the upgrade wasn’t honored. The room itself was in rough shape, with a wardrobe door barely hanging on and overall poor maintenance. When we requested an upgrade, they initially declined, but after walking over to the Reef Tower, they agreed to an upgrade for a significant additional cost. The suite at the Reef Tower was a noticeable improvement and much more comfortable. One downside across the hotel was the excessive air conditioning; it was uncomfortably cold in many areas, which seemed wasteful and unnecessary. The service left room for improvement as well. Several staff members appeared disengaged, chatting amongst themselves rather than attending to guests. The manager responsible for towel and wristbands was particularly rude, given we were paying over $1,000 a night we expected top-tier service. Vanessa at the Reef check-in desk—she was fantastic and really made us feel welcome. The breakfast staff were also friendly and attentive. Food was another letdown. Prices were extremely high, and the quality didn’t match. Many restaurants were closed. Despite these setbacks, the resort’s facilities and the beautiful sea surrounding were wonderful however we would not rush back

Really nice resort
The Staff was 5 Star, every single one we encountered was pleasant, polite & professional. We can’t wait to go back… Thank You for the Best Vacation Ever. Dan, Laurie & Family
Little bit overpriced
The property is huge and kids friendly with a big water park and various activities for adults and kids as well. Numerous dine-in options, shopping area, neat and clean rooms, friendly staff.
Great place to stay at ,so much too see and do at this resort.
The property was nice. We all got very sick with the food and they didn't help us at all
For this to be the cheaper of the hotels at Atlantis, I do have to say the room was VERY nice and spacious. Nothing was outdated, room service came everyday. If you want to save some money but still want a nice stay I would recommend this hotel
The reservation was wrong because the Coral was closed for renovation
Really amazing suite. Extra space and beautiful view. Bathroom was extra special!
My most favorite part was The Dig aquarium! The whole Atlantis theme through the whole building, especially in The Dig was absolutely stunning! They had some renovations going on at the hotel but that can’t be helped. Over all it’s a great hotel to stay at if you can afford it! I just happened to get a free room upgrade from the Coral to the Royal too which was a super pleasant surprise!
Amazing vacation and a wonderful staff.
Waterpark was amazing and the staff is super friendly.
Overall it was ok. Employees at front desk were rude. Our “water view” was blocked by trees. The pool for The coral was closed. The water station was a far walk…none on our floor or in our building. When we went to checkout they didn’t apply my room credit. Everything was overpriced. Only a few employees were nice like the guy that helped us get a taxi. Other then that we probably wouldn’t come again. Atlantis is definitely over hyped.
Completely a relaxing vacation
Absolutely perfect
We were upgraded to the Royal but the entire property was great.
Amazing
I loved every moment being there. I will be returning with my other family members soon
Honky Tonk Island
The property was dirty and the crowd was very "honk-tonk" if you are looking for a nicer environment and higher end experience best to choose elsewhere.
The kids loved it… a bunch of stuff to do in Paradise Island… a comfortable stay!
My family and I had a wonderful time. Plenty of interesting and entertaining areas to explore at the resort. The sea life on display was amazing and the water slides were awesome. Both lazy rivers were thrilling. Even with 1/3 of the slides and pools closed we had plenty to do. The beaches were gorgeous and had options for calm shores and pounding surf. A wonderful stay overall.
Exelent place for vacation a for distraction
The stay was good, the staff was great, everything was fine.
Stuff aren’t friendly at all, didn’t see one person smiling during all my stay and aggressive
Wasn’t sure what to expect as I’ve read mixed reviews but we actually had the BEST time. We had a balcony room that was the perfect size for the 3 of us. We enjoyed exploring the property and the beauty it has to offer. The beaches were beautiful. We had a lot of fun in Aquaventure. Keep your feet and butt tucked in because I got a nasty bruise on my butt from the surge slide but still had fun. Rapid river just be mindful of when you’re close to the sides/rocks and you’ll be fine. All staff we encountered were lovely and helpful. We loved the shake shack being on property for quick lunches. The marina village is very nice at night time we loved walking it and checking out the shops. Wish we could have checked out more dining but we kept it pretty basic this trip. It was nice to get Starbucks every morning in the Marina village too. There is not enough space to write all the things I want to say on here but I was really happy with our trip and would love to come back again. The Cove area looks amazing and would love to stay there next time but I think you’re good at any of the towers because the property is great. They ensure ppl don’t go in the water or ocean when there’s lightning which was great for safety. Relax, have fun, and soak up the sun. We came in offseason and it was great because it wasn’t too busy, no wait times for water activities, or food. Would definitely do it again. Thank you for the amazing vacation we will remember it forever!
Perfect spot for a vacation and kids. Pricey but worth it
Our hotel room was on the first floor. We could hear everything, from the people in the rooms next to us and the room above us. Sleep was terrible. Would not recommend to anyone.
Great experience
This was our dream honeymoon trip. It met and exceeded every one of our expectations.
The Coral at Atlantis | Home in Paradise Island | Travala.com
My family and I stayed at The Coral at the Atlantis (one of the towers of the Atlantis Resort). After reading many reviews I had my doubts about this resort. But due to convenience, I decided to book. It was an amazing experience. It does have its flaws, but the beauty and many activities it provides, overcomes the small issues. Most employees of the resort were very nice. Willing to help. The price was convenient if you think how much you’ll have to pay for a “day pass” to enjoy the waterpark activities, slides, rapid river, aquarium, etc., if you come from another resort or hotel. Restaurants are not really good and they are pricey like most people say, but there are many other options around too. Our room wasn’t the newest, but it was in decent condition to us. The cleaning service was good too. The 3 beaches that we visited inside the resort were beautiful. Specially the one at the Cove Tower. There is no need to go outside looking for other beaches. I did, and they were the same to me. Or maybe in other seasons is different (I went on January 2025). So, if it’s your first time in Nassau, stay here. You won’t regret it.
