Our stay at The Chedi Andermatt was unforgettable! From the warm welcome to the stunning rooms with mountain views, every detail was pure luxury. The service was exceptional, the food outstanding and the spa absolutely amazing. One of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had— can’t wait to return!

Amazing Deluxe Suite! We have been with my dog and the Hotel was absolutely pet friendly with also a Pets Menu in the room ! Very nice and relaxing SPA area, swimming pool outdoor/indoor for adults only from 7pm as well. Only negative note is on the view from our room that was not so great since we were at first floor only and with the mountains mostly covered by the building in front of the balcony.

This is the best resort in Switzerland. I adored our time spent there.

A very luxurious hotel with incredible views, restaurants and amenities! I love the indoor and outdoor pools and especially the hydrotherapy room. Highly recommended.

World class resort. Will be returning. Only complaint is the change to an Omakase only menu for The Japanese Restaurant, and the room above the underground parking was quite noisy with cars and bikes. There were plenty of vacant rooms, it would have been nice to stay on a quieter side.

What a luxurious, friendly and well equipped hotel. We couldn’t recommend it more highly - from the moment we arrived to check in we knew we had made the right decision. The place is the height of luxury, our suite was simply superb and the dining experience, spa and treatments and staff were absolutely wonderful. Fully recommend to anyone looking for a luxury break

The best hotel in Switzerland

Every detail in this hotel is meticulous and beautiful. The room is very spacious and relaxing. The spa looks a little bit like a Japanese temple. In general the hotel design is heavily influenced by Japanese culture which I find to be gorgeous. The service is also impeccable. We are vegan and the staff helped us find many wonderful options for us to eat. They even made me a vegan cake for my birthday. The surrounding of the hotel had many beautiful places to explore. I highly recommend the hotel

It was a great experience for my family and I. The staff were very friend and paid attention to all details. The hotel room was very pretty and cozy. Lot’s of excellent amenities to choose from. We will definitely be back.

Splendid Chedi

Excellent location for summer or winter vacation. Well organised accommodation, plenty of room and facilities second to none. Staff very helpful and approachable.

Been going to the chedi in andermatt since 2018 and it’s always been one of our favourite holiday hotels. Great service and great property. You pay for what you get here. You pay a lot and get a lot :)

Very disappointed that very few advertised items - like fireplace, tea and coffee and tv and stereo never worked during during our stay

Stellar hotel perfect for winter holiday

Our stay was a dream, a top-notch place for winter holidays. The hotel is stellar in design, service and food.

Immaculately maintained with food, staff, and services that exceed all expectations.

The Chedi is beautiful. Loved their pools, walkable to everything in town, and easy hikes. We got stuck in the rain one night and the hotel sent a car to pick us up which was so nice.

Just such a great experience, the moment we were greeted for check in, the most smoothest check in with got towels to wash your hands, chocolate, and tea. Just wow! Thank you and your team. Well done!

What a spectacular hotel. Top notch in every single way

Fabulous stay

I had a very bad check-in experience and I’ve loose more than 1 hour of our time, while we were the only one guest who were checking in. Even when I tried to talk about this situation to supervisor - I didn’t feel like somebody trying to solve my problem and just to be nice to me. And absolutely I didn’t felt like I came to 5 stars property and that I am the guest of the hotel which is the part of Leading hotels of the world. I stayed at the Chedi in Montenegro last year for 11 days and everything was outstanding. That’s why I choose this hotel for our short stay. But I was disappointed while our check-in and I felt even worse when superior said to me: “We can cancel your reservation and you can go to another place to stay”. Does it how the guests of luxury hotels should be treated like or this is how the best Swiss hospitality looks like?

everything was perfect like always. I highly recommend this hotel, the staff is very kind and helpful. really good restaurants, hotel rooms are big and high tech.

Best hotel I have stayed in.

Absolutely amazing experience. The staff truly goes above and beyond (I never really knew what that meant until I stayed at The Chedi). Hotel interior is amazingly beautiful and grand and stylish. Our Junior Suite was fantastic. The restaurants are phenomenon especially the Michelin star Japanese Restaurant. I loved the heated outside pool with views of the surrounding mountains. But what I loved the most was the spa with the many saunas and baths on the lower levels. The only thing that was not amazing was that we were there in May and the town of Andermatt is basically shut down and nothing is open outside the hotel. (But that is not the hotel's fault and there is enough to keep you fascinated and happy in the hotel).

Setting exceptional standards

Third stay and always exceptional service, rooms, spa and dining options. Even through Covid, everything was superb. Thanks to the staff and stay safe

Check in took a bit since very busy but they invited us for the entire food bill including amazing caviar and cocktails, could not be more professional, the Place is a must on everyones bucket list @juergen_pichler_levine

this hotel is world class and is the nicest ski hotel I have ever stayed at. Service and the amenities were excellent. the rooms are as good as they get. The mountain is underappreciated as it compares with Lech, Grindewald, etc.

Top level facilities and service. The investment to provide ultra luxury was obvious. However, the architectural choices were not to our personal liking, since we prefer more traditional and classical 5 star hotels.

Space in our Deluxe Suite. Food! Too expensive compared with other properties we know of same class abroad

We went in the summer for a getaway weekend. Just perfect. The hotel is amazing -- rooms are modern and very well designed. The pools is beautiful. And the Japanese restaurant has a well-earned Michelin star. Would love to come back during ski season!

Great very large hotel, Deluxe Suite a great space. All as expected. Not much happening in tiny Andermatt!

would not stay again

For a 5* Hotel it did't meet our expectation. Our room was not clean, old guest sleepers were under the couch, popcorn under the bed, we told them nothing was done, bed very weak & extremely uncomfortable, kids bed is interesting since is just the couch, ambiance too dark, staff was nice but seem unhappy, breakfast was presented nice but it was tasteless, when we arrived to eat breakfast no one was there to seat us, overall is a nice hotel but not wonderful for the 5* it claims to be not to mentioned extremely over price for what you expect. Good things- good located, great to rent your ski gear because is inside the hotel, nice pool and big rooms.

Amazing pool and spa, great breakfast. Brilliant service - free car drop offs to ski locations, cross country skiing area, while service excellent- would thoroughly recommend, only drawback was evening restaurants very expensive so better to eat out in town

This was the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed at. The room was elegant and spacious. The amenities are excellent and the staff is very friendly. Andermatt is a hidden gem and is in the process of expanding.

Amazing property and service. Incredible design and quality. Would happily stay here over and over again. But Between seasons, Andermatt has limited options. Free parking would be a nice gesture too!

One of the best hotel ever. Perfect service and food

Amazing Hotel

This hotel has put sleepy Andermatt on the map. Amazing architecture. Room was huge and comfortable. IPad control, great balcony, and the spa area was beautiful. Pools warm. Breakfast was included and was the best buffet breakfast we’ve ever had. Five-star without being pretentious. Do not hesitate booking this hotel.

Simply stunning

One of the best hotels ever. Beautifully designed and styled hotel. Amazing spa. Staff were exceptional. They balanced service and being human perfectly well it felt so comfortable, especially as 5stars don't always feel so. Restaurant both for dinner and breakfast were stunning. The design throughout the hotel had us in constant amazement yet for such high design it was also so cosy. The hotel and staff left you wanting for nothing, simply stunning. Would return to the area just to stay in this hotel again!!

Great family ski resort with outdoor heated pool

Great family ski resort, a stone's throw away from the cable cars entrance. The unique thing about this resort is the outdoor heated swimming pool...have you ever had a snowball fight while swimming, well now's your chance!

Great hotel great for skiing easy access to slopes

Service was outstanding from ski butlers to restaurants to hotel staff. All staff took the time to speak with you and to provide a high level of service.

Disappointing

Unfortunately the service was not as good as a previous visit. The second bathroom shower was not working and when this was raised it was not fixed. Papers were ordered and not delivered. In general the management didn’t give the service we would have expected from this Hotel.

Planned to stay one night, ended up staying 3 & cancelling our other plans. This is an amazing destination! Architecture & decor are among the best I've ever seen.

Combination ski-spa weekend getaway

A truly fantastic experience from all standpoints: aesthetic, athletic, gastronomic, panoramic, spiritual. The hotel features the amazing architecture of Jean-Michel Gathy, with all of his unique grace-note details, and is set like a precious stone in the beautiful Andermatt valley. Our room overlooking the spa pool was extremely well-designed and comfortable. For a ski fanatic like me, the pampered treatment by the excellent hotel ski butlers was a perfect way to kick off a challenging but tremendously satisfying day on the Gemsstock. The spa massages and hot pools were fantastically relaxing and healing. The various meals we had were all exquisite and the staff unfailingly gracious in their helpfulness. Need I say more?

Remarkable Experience!

The Chedi @Andermatt is one of those rare properties that are "grand" and yet have a "home" feel to the whole experience. Perfect stay at the chedi Andermatt

We were passing through Andermatt for one night enroute to Davos via glacier express and decided to spend the night at the chedi. The property is simply par excellence and I would rate it 6 stars in terms of comfort and service if I could. The expansive spa area might well be the best in Switzerland if not in Europe and the overall attention to fine details was impressive. Would love to return some day!

What's at Andermatt

A simply amazing hotel set within a beautiful and incredibly friendly village. The staff are fantastic and the spa has to be seen to be belived. It is right next to the train station with great connections to Zurich Airport. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

We spent four amazing nights at Chedi.

Fantastic facilities in pristine village! The staff were very helpful and attentive, with every of detail of our stay well planned.

A special alpine lift-off point to the mountains.

We loved the décor, the quality of build, and the huge spaces. The staff were more than helpful and very pleasant. The rooms are outstanding and it is a place we would come back to. Prices are high but that is what you would expect for a place of this quality.

Bien a secas.

El día que ordenamos desayuno al cuarto no llegó… Cenamos en el japonés supuestamente 2 estrellas Michelin y la verdad estuvo muuuy lejos de lo que pensamos

Beim Checkout musste ich Zimmernummer und Name angeben. Persönlicher wäre gewesen, wenn Karte gescannt wird und ich direkt mit Namen angesprochen worden wäre.

Sehr schönes Zimmer, Spa Bereich für ein 5 Sternehotel klar überbewertet.

Ein Traum in den Bergen

Ein super Hotel welches alle Details pflegt, sehr freundliches Personal und ein super kulinarisches Angebot.

Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis stimmt leider nicht..

Es war ok, aber das Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis stimmt definitiv nicht... Personal war teilweise sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, aber leider nur teilweise. Ausserdem finde ich es kleinlich, wenn man eine Suite für über Fr. 1'000.- bucht und noch Fr. 30.- für den Parkservice bezahlen muss... Auto hatte zudem Schmutz auf der Türschwelle vom Fahrer und wurde auch nicht elektrisch aufgeladen. Bin mir da von einem anderen fünfstern Hotel anderes gewöhnt. Werde sicher nicht nochmal ins Chedi gehen.... Schade :-(

Ist unser dritter Aufenthalt im Chedi. Unverändert tolles Hotel auf hohem Niveau mit nur ganz wenigen Abstrichen.
