Fantastic property with exceptional staff
We came with a group trip and the staff at Central House did went above and beyond to make our trip wonderful. They arranged transport from the train station for over 20 people, and did everything they could to get our group checked-in quickly and early, even though several of the rooms had late check-outs that day. Everyone at reception was friendly, professional, and just delightful. Our group really enjoyed the generous and fresh breakfast, and the terrace was a highlight for everyone. I had a single room, which was beautiful, and many in the group stayed in shared rooms, some of the best hostel accommodations they had ever seen.
Fantastic hostel! Great location, clean, comfortable beds, a great pool area and tasty food. Would highly recommend! Probably among the top ten hostels that I have stayed at during my travels.
Good stay
Really good hostel with super friendly staff. The staff Younis and Ahmed were super kind and welcoming. Good job guys.
Good location, with rooftop lounge/bar. Friendly and helpful staff.
Ask the front desk for anything they are super helpful. Located in the heart of a busy Medina, this backpackers style hotel offers a level of social fun that you won't get outside the old city.
You will not find another property this social and cheap. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is awesome and the drinks are cheap at the bar. The kitchen is pretty decent as well! Awesome staff, super helpful, super fun. NOT a place for children.
Staff was lovely and very kind and friendly. Helpful tips: If you are a female with a physical disability or any mobility issues, staying here will not be the best choice. The property does not have an elevator and women only dorms are only in the 2nd floor. Additionally, taxis can’t not come directly to the hostel - the streets are too narrow inside the Medina. You will have to walk 8-10 minutes to a taxi pick up. Last point, I missed my flight to no fault of my own. If this happens to you, do not call the hostel. Email them. They will count you as a no show and will not refund that day of stay.
The entire place was good but the room smelled like mold in only the bedroom.
I had a wonderful and safe stay at The Central House. The riad had a cool, modern vibe with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were attentive, and the amenities were on point, making it a great place to relax after exploring. While I loved most of my experience, I think the evening ambiance could be improved with a better selection of music or a more skilled DJ. Overall, though, it's a fantastic spot to stay, and I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a blend of comfort and style!
Central house
Great across the board. Location, staff and amenities were everything we needed for our stay in Marrakech. So many activities offered daily. The bar and food were great too.
Great stay
Central from the souks, friendly staff. Nessina explained well the tea ceremony and reality of locals in morroco. Met some cool travelers. 100% recommend
Great place to stay!
Stayed there for a few days to rest and orient myself.Staff were helpful with all my questions and provided me with great information. Located centrally in the Medina. Easy to get to most landmarks by walking.
Amazing stay! Clean, beautiful, comfortable place to be. Nice staff. Great location right in the Medina. Would definitely stay there again when in Marrakesh! Thank you.
Amazing
Staff is very kind and helpful. Property is nice the outside is busy
The best hostel I've ever stayed at, it doesn't look like a hostel at all! Very relaxed atmosphere and a beautiful outdoor space.
Nice place for $$
A really great property in an amazing area of the Medina. Easy to get in and out of and felt like a peaceful escape from the bustle of the souks
Must try for solo travel.
This was the best place - both hostel and hotel/airbnb etc - I have ever stayed on holiday. Truly the best value. Super social, insane location and amazing staff. I’ll be going back.
The property was very clean. I was able to check in online to submit my passport information. I was picked up at the airport and taken as far as cars would go. There a hotel staff person with a wheelbarrow took my luggage the remaining 5 min walk on foot to the hotel, since it is down long windy roads in the old medina area of town. Check in was easy, and I was able to rent a towel and buy a lock for the locker, and get a free hot mint tea. They carried my luggage up stairs to the room. The room was a share women's hostel room with double bunk beds. Each bed had a curtain. The AC and hot water worked and soaps and shampoos were provided. There were some menu items served (food and drinks) downstairs. Many travelers hung around the pool, TV (watching soccer), and other tables in the common area, as well as up on the roof. When the sun goes down you can hear the call to prayer pretty loud, but if the windows are closed it won't wake you at the 3 am one. If you stand on your tip toes on a lounge chair on the roof, you can see over the wall for the sunset, but otherwise you can't see the city over the wall. This location is good for walking to get to the main square in 15 min or so, and is close for many restaurants. Google maps works so you can find the hotel. There is an espresso stand right outside the entry to the hostel starting at 9 am, and he has some good pastry/cookies. Front desk was always staffed.
Amazing location, great food and shopping nearby! The space was so beautifully decorated, breakfast was just enough options and everything was super clean! Loved the opportunity to socialize but the amount of space to also just relax
Clean and enjoyable
Great staff, super friendly and helpful, flexible and accomodating
The place is great for a few nights stay in the Medina area. The property is clean, new and the staff were incredibly friendly. Plenty of good food options within 5-10 min walk. Note: As with all properties in the Medina area. A taxi is able to drop you a 5-6 min walk away. Keep this in mind if you have a lot of luggage
Although more of a hostel, if you can score a private room, it’s a very hip propert, filled with internationals. Breakfast is solid and the sun deck is nice but only has 4 loungers so be sure to snag one!
Beautiful property
Great stay at Central House right in the Marrakesh Medina. The Riad was beautiful and very friendly staff. Stayed in a 4-bed women’s only dorm with a bathroom was comfortable. It is classified as a hostel so be prepared for late night partying noise from some of the guest.
This place is beautiful and the staff was extraordinary.
Lovely riad, beautiful rooftop and grounds however the a/c in the room leaked.
Great staff
The staff are exceptional and the roof terrace is very cool - but there are no views. it’s surrounded by a 6ft wall so very peaceful but sadly no vista! I’d stay again for sure
Very nice and safe hostel in Marrakech. Great location and awesome facilities including a rooftop bar and a pool. Definitely would recommend.
Lovely room, great location, helpful staff!
Good value for money, staff and
Clean and friendly hostel. Great location. Ideal place to stay if you are exploring Marrakech.Staff were very kind and helpful
Perfect!
Perfect
Perfect location, lovely staff, spotlessly clean. Beautiful roof terrace.
The central house Marrakech is a great place to stay if your in the old city. The staff are incredibly friendly, honest and helpful! The amenities make it a great place in a bustling area such as the pool and rooftop shower for tanning. This is my first time in Marrakech and all the help I got from the hotel helped make it a far less confusing experience especially when this part of the city is endless roads, shops and salesman’s. 10/10 experience!
Excellent location and remarkably friendly n helpful staff. Loved our stay. The place is super clean and well kept. Strongly recommended to all. Will definitely come back !!! Thanks to all the team there ✌️🙌
The staff was so good and the place was boca
Great location and a very beautiful stay! Hamza is the best, everyone was so kind!
Pretty good overall, spotty WiFi is the only downside.
Lovely riad in the middle of the medina
The riad is absolutely beautiful, super clean and cozy. Great location too. We stayed in a superior double room and it was really spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The staff is incredible, every single one of them was so friendly and ready to help, they made our experience even nicer.
The staff was wonderful, always with great suggests food restaurants, outing etc
5 stars
Amazing, friendly, and helpful staff room was small but cute and comfortable. The riad is beautiful with plenty of outdoor and indoor common space. The rooftop terrace is beautiful. Can’t miss by staying here.
Excellent Riat
This is a very comfortable Riat in the middle of the crazy streets in Medina . Room comfortable and beautiful pool area that you can enjoy with a drink and food . Excellent breakfast and staff very friendly.
Excellent overall, great staff and service
Great location, nice and clean property. Just outside the busy area but very close. Staff were wonderful!
Great place to stay!
The best place you can stay in Marrakech very helpful friendly and polite staff beautiful place amazing food and dining strongly recommend if you visit Marrakech
Rooms very clean, place is very cute, felt safe! Great location!
We had a great experience at the riad. As with most of our experiences in Marrakech, the people were the best part. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the location is very convenient.
100% recommend this riad
Such a beautiful hotel. Clean, reasonably priced, great location in close walking distance to the souks and many restaurants. The hotel bar was a plus as a drink is hard to come by here!
We had an amazing experience. The Riad is within walking distance of Marrakech biggest attractions.
Stayed as a family, 2 adults 2 kids. This was an excellent choice. Extremely clean, great location, amazing staff. The hotel is beautiful and the pool area is great.
Beautiful and “hip” Riad. Delicious breakfast, comfortable rooms and spotless clean. The only thing and I could call out as not perfect was the help from the front desk people. They are all very nice but I felt like they didn’t really knew much about the area (opening times of popular places, or they hadn’t visited common touristy places to be able to give advise, etc). Even though they live in Marrakech. But the place itself is beautiful!
Great Stay Good Service a Little Loud
Excellent service did not know there were hostels as well so some nights were a little loud. Overall it was a good place to stay to see the Marakesh Medina and souks. Pretty busy restaurants in the area after the fasting period so book em early. Careful and watch your step cause 5here is uneven flooring on top flo you
Wonderful place. Staff were incredibly friendly and even got to know my name and room number by heart after my 3 nights there. Super clean (like a surgical ward almost) but very comfortable. Would very much recommend to anyone looking to visit Marrakech.
Better value elsewhere for private rooms
This is more hostel than Riad. Stayed in a private room, which was clean (although stank of bleach) but tiny. Much better value to stay in a real riad elsewhere. The staff were friendly and the design of the common areas was modern moroccan.
Nice riad, everything is modern and clean. The terrace is beautiful. The staff is kind and helpful. The only issue was we didn’t get towels in our room which is a hustle for every traveler as you try to fit everything in your small bag. We didn’t have breakfast included so we had to pay 40dh for it. The location is a bit far from the main sqaure (20 min cca) so at first you can get easily lost but once you learn the way it is okay. Overall nice and would come again!
Fantastic stay! Helpful staff, great food. Rooftop which was great for sunbathing and had a nice bar.
Perfect place to rest
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is good. We were able to rest at night, because they closed the bar and turned off the lights at 11 PM. Also, the fact that they had a bar with alcohol was beneficial. Many places within the Medina do not?. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hostel is very beautiful.
Nice staff and roof. The Riad is beautiful with the pool. It’s convenience to go to the Médina
Great location and in walking distance of all the major sights. Nice to have a couple of bars for drinks & snacks within the hostel and plenty of space to relax after a hot long day sightseeing.
The staff were amazing, the hotel is beautiful. Very secure. I felt safe the entire stay.
Felt like a riad but with the amenities of a modern hotel. Very nice, wonderful bar.
I loved the contrast of the surrounding area and the hostel. Very clean and they do your bed for you.
Definitely recommend if staying in the medina
This place is an oasis in the insanity of the medina. The staff is very helpful, the rooms are nice and there’s a bar, which was necessary after a crazy night trying to navigate the Medina trying to get back to the hotel.
Amazingly helpful staff and great facilities
Staff of the hostel are amazingly helpful in organizing my laundry that exceeded my expectation. The facilities are new and modern while breakfast are well-prepared!
great hostel
pros : 1. friendly and helpful staffs 2. great internet wifi 3. good sufficient breakfast, all you can eat 4. the bed in dorms with curtain to keep your privacy cons: 1. it is in the middle of medina, meaning that you most likely will be lost. (it can be a pro also if indeed being lost in the labyrinth is something that you are waiting for). just make sure to turn your wifi and GPS on...it is truly more complex compared to Harry Potter's maze in Triwizard tournament...no kidding! if you dont have good navigation skill, better to stay outside medina 2. the toilet inside my room is constantly smelly, even being cleaned on daily basis 3. they have great roof top but the view is being blocked by high walls, couldnt enjoy the sunset there
Great place
Really nice space that feels like a retreat from Marrakech. Rooms were clean and comfortable and really lovely staff. It is a little tricky to find and a little out of the way from the main streets which mean you get a few locals trying to pester or tick you going to the hostel, but that is the only bad thing I can say about this place.
Great ✔
It was nice is nearby to the center of city The staff are nice and professional and friendly The food is good recomendable Quute, clean and different languages I really recommend this hostal
