Best hotel in bali
Great service and hotel
The welcoming and the professional staff are amazing also the facilities are beautiful
Stunning and beautiful - this property was amazing! You must go to a Bali and stay in this place, look no further!
Beautiful property lacks Kempinski standards
Room = Spectacular layout and furnishings. Ocean front suite with own infinity pool was perfect layout for 3 of us. Service = hit and miss for a kempinski. We’ve stayed in Kempinski Dubai and Bangkok where service is superior. Lady in red is more active and you also get butlers in the high end suites. The lady in red here panick about my request for keys and interupt the highlight of the stay dinner at Koral restaurant in the aquarium tunnel. Also room service and bell boy slow and room service food basic at best. Major issue was them dismantling a wedding marquee with hammers and waking us up at 4am. Very apologetic but offered us a mere free upgrade next time when we lost hours of sleep. It is crazy to knock down a marquee in a 5 star hotel at 4am while all your guests are sleeping and paying a premium to do so!
Excellent - would recommend
Excellent resort - great facilities, restaurants and super friendly staff
We had an excellent experience staying in a 2 bedroom villa at Apurva Kempinski. The property was beautifully maintained, with great gardens and pools. The service was very attentive and personalised, making us feel important and valued. The rooms were amazing- spacious and a great design perfect for our young family of 5 downstairs and my extended family upstairs. Thank you for a great holiday
Amazing property best hotel we have stayed in and have stayed in many 5 star hotels. Just book it you won’t be disappointed
The staffs are friendly and helpful, but the room or the architecture has its problems. Sadly, it was not a good experience for me especially when you are paying for the luxurious experience. Try to avoid the Lagoon View Room on the first floor. - The AC didn’t work in the room. It was too cold and no way to change the temperature at the beginning. Then the hotel sent a technician to fix it. However, we couldn’t turn the temperature down after the “fix”. So it was humid and hot. - The entire room smell moldy, and the pillows and beddings were all humid the entire time. It’s such as bad feeling living in a not dry room for multiple days. - After another 5-10 more phone calls back and forth, the hotel said they could show me another room. Sadly, the other room, which is the same room type, has the same issue. And it was already midnight. I really wanted to rest. I kinda know that all the lagoon rooms on the first floor might have the same issues. - Then the second day, I said that I want to change a room type. They showed me a junior suite room with a private pool in a side building, not in the main nice building. The room is actually worse even though it has a small pool. It looks like a sad studio apartment with a pool that is tiny, no greens nor shades outside. I decided to stay at the old room. I was so tired for this 2- day hassle at that moment. I was only there for 5 days. I just wanted to relax. - The hotel staff provided us a free breakfast voucher and some shampoos
Absolute pleasure everything was amazing
Excellent
Great stay in Bali
Tottaly amazing !!! The lobby design ia probably one of the best in the world. One downside is wedding parties taking place over the week end but they finish around 10PM
The property was quaint and secluded which is what my friend and I liked. We upgraded ourselves from Deluxe room to a Deluxe Suite with Garden view when we reached, as the price was just slightly higher with access to the Cliff Lounge which provides a more private pool and fabulous Hydrojet pool that we chill there most of the day. The Garden view that we got was beautiful as well, as it was a mix of greeneries with an ocean view from far. Overall, unforgettable experience and definitely heading back.
One of the best Hotels we have ever stayed
Almost perfect !
We had an incredible girls' weekend getaway in Bali and stayed at a beautiful hotel. The room was spacious and more than enough for the three of us. A highlight was the wide range of dining options, offering everything from local to international cuisines. We made sure to try each restaurant, and most meals were delightful—except for Koral, where I was a bit disappointed with the octopus and lobster. Given its fine dining reputation, I expected the food to be of a higher standard. While the ambience at Koral was magical, the food didn’t quite match it. That said, it didn’t dampen our overall experience at the hotel. It was truly a memorable trip.
Best hotel ever so far. Worth the money you spend. Enjoyed every moment spent.
Great property and staff
Awe inspiring hotel. Very tranquil!
Beautiful place, I loved it
Just checked out from 3 nights in an ocean cliff suite. Beautiful room with a great view. Staff service around the pool is minimal you have to track someone down to order drinks / food. Coming from another resort in Nusa dua where once you are on a sun lounge a cold towel & water is provided along with a menu for food and drinks. Smoking shisha by the beach and the waiter asked did I want my change to which I responded yes… 45min later he never returned. The check in process was ok they were more worried about charging me my $300 for an extra bed then allowing me to enjoy my room on first glance .. an extra bed which I had requested and it was not already set up so then had to sit and wait for them to come and so that again not being able to enjoy our private pool straight away. Room service was slow. Was a nice stay for our family and celebrating our honeymoon but overall was average
Thoroughly enjoyable
Excellent hotel, amazing staff! Koral restaurant was amazing. Deni the assistant manager was fantastic with the customer service she provided. Agus provided the most exceptional experience at the Kodak restaurant cannot thank him enough!
By far, one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. Highly recommend this hotel for any Bali travelers. It will take your experience to another level. The lobby is stunning and cannot say enough about the staff.. It felt like a 6 day ASMR experience. Must try the Koral restaurant and the SPA was exceptional. We will come back.
One of the best hotel experiences we've had. The Apurva is elegant, exotic, relaxing, and yet exciting. The lobby alone will leave you speechless. I highly recommend the restaurant Koral, which to me was a Michelin Experience. Loved the staff, the drinks and the room was impeccable. A must experience.
Leaving an unattended saw on top of trolley next to our room was very unprofessional for five star hotel. And plus my kid's leg almost got scratch by the saw.
It has been amazing! We had a wonderful time at the Kempinski, highly recommend the hotel. The staff is so friendly and efficient, the restaurants are the best of the area: Izacaya (japanese restaurant), Koral (fixed experience restaurant with many dishes), the reef (international food). Want to give a special mention to our lady in red Jessica, she has been fantastic, our room was full of details for our honeymoon. Aldi at the cliff lounge check in has been so friendly and wonderful. Wira at the cliff lounge bar has given us a fenomenal experience and service. We are delighted with the service and all the amenities the hotel has to offer. Spectacular hotel and experience!
Spectacular service, wonderful hotel, there are plenty of restaurants, our lady in red was fantastic thank you Erin for your help! We loved our experience, the room with the private pool has been a dream. We went for our honeymoon and we are definitely coming back!
What did we like? We were staying at the Ocean View Junior Suite. The best thing about the suite was of being spacious, clean and artistic. It can accommodate an extra bed easily. All beds, including the extra bed, were comfortable too. The bathroom has a double vanity with separated toilet and shower. The bathtub was facing the ocean. The shower had three options: fixed rain shower, shower head with hose and side shower heads. The toilet was automatic with heated seat and bidet. The pool was also facing the ocean. The food at Apurva was also amazing - we tried the breakfast buffet, in-room dining and afternoon tea. They all had great taste and options. Unfortunately we weren’t able to try the famous aquarium dining because it was fully booked. We we didn’t like? The bathtub was too shallow and the edge is too sharp - it’s a safety hazard. You need to be extra careful when using it. We asked for a non-smoking area, but our suite was next to their smoking area near the lobby. We had to close our doors often to avoid the smoke penetrating to the room. The entire atmosphere was a bit gloomy and scary because of the dark tone. They could’ve added more lightnings to help make it more comfortable. We had to wait for our room, even after the 3 pm check in time. But, we could wait in their lounge offering free coffee and tea.
Great hotel and is new.
Property is beautiful. Beach was nice. Great breakfast buffet
Amazing hotel - very opulent and luxurious. Lots of restaurants options.
It was a perfect stay
There’s not much sightseeing in the area but the hotel itself is grand and beautiful. We stayed in a 2 story villa and when we arrived they did not know what they were doing. We had to walk back and forth between two different hosts for one of them to find out that our check in was way on the opposite side of where we were. There seemed to be a communication issue among them. It was not a 5 star first impression. The suites were nice, apparently Obama and Elon Musk had stayed in the villas so they are fully stocked and comfortable. We had lunch at the aquarium restaurant it was lovely and the view spectacular. The sushi restaurant overlooking the entire property on the top floor is wonderful too. Room service was excellent. The pools were a bit dirty but our private pool was pristine and perfect for a dip. Overall I thought the Apurva left a grandiose impression but their hospitality lacked the warmth and professionalism of a Four Seasons. The bell team was especially great. View is nice but we enjoyed other parts of Bali much more.
It one of the most beautiful resorts, however not soo many additional facilities when comparing to other resorts quite basic for the price. Not soo happening for couples.
The place is awesome
Everything was perfect and superb!! Best stay ever!
Overpriced with poor attention to detail
Lavish decor and facilities, but over priced with poor maintenance and some very very average food and beverage experiences. Gardens looking unwell and in need of TLC. Lagoon access rooms are not worth the expense. Shallow pool that is often coveraged in fallen leaves…pool drain full of rotting vegetation which smells unpleasant
Incredibly beautiful property and even better service. Lovely people work at this place and they genuinely want you to enjoy your stay.
Can’t fault the Kempinski. First time and we will definitely be coming back
Concierge not available all the time
The most beautiful hotel and area I’ve ever seen in Bali. Property is absolutely gorgeous and clean. Definitely will be back here soon.
Luxurious stay in Bali
The best hotel I have ever stayed in, The hospitality and service is 5*, The rooms are very clean and spacious and the breakfast buffet was amazing, I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for the best experience in Bali to stay here
Best Hotel in Bali
The best hotel I have ever stayed in so far out of maybe 50 hotels I have stayed in my lifetime, I cannot fault this hotel at all as the staff make it very special for all the guests and the hospitality and service is 5*, the rooms are very clean and spacious and the breakfast buffet was amazing, I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for the best experience in Bali to stay here
5star price 3star condition
Stay 1night at Rm 3253 with so many things not working appliances in the room. - Toilet looks fancy and hightech, but noisy - power point on the table does not work although it has been fixed by technician right after we check -in - water from kettle dripping although we only put about 200ml of water - coffee machine only give dirty water instead of coffee. Management needs to pay attention to maintenance. So dissappointed.
I had an amazing experience at The Apurva Kempinski Bali resort. The resort's architecture was designed to resemble a temple, providing beautiful 360-degree waterfront views of the beach from most locations. This 5-star resort excelled in all areas. The staff delivered the best customer service I have ever experienced at any resort. They cleaned our suite twice a day and left local desserts for us to enjoy. The staff were always available to address any questions or needs that arose. The food options were plentiful and delicious, with 8 different restaurants catering to every traveler's palate. The complimentary breakfast was more like brunch, with breakfast and lunch options available from 6:30 am to 12 pm. We enjoyed complimentary happy hour at the Pala Restaurant & Rooftop Bar, watching the sunset while savoring drinks and tapas. Our dinners at Bai Yun Hotpot and Reef Beach Club were excellent, and we also had an 8-course lunch at the resort's crown jewel restaurant, Koral Restaurant, which offers Bali's first aquarium dining experience. The Apurva Spa was top-tier as well. My wife and I booked a couples massage overlooking the beach, and it provided a great way to relax and reset. Once again, the staff were attentive to all our needs. If you have the chance to visit Bali, I highly recommend staying at The Apurva Kempinski Bali resort!
The resort felt like a city of its own. It was very grand and had every facility you could possibly need. Thank you for an amazing 1 week stay!
Amazing stay! Excellent location, staff and food
Staff is very friendly and professional. Very nice and luxurious hotel. Various choices of donning.
Super grand and elegant property with amazing service!
The shower area has stinky urine smell, floor is dusty and part of the room is dusty, towel looks five years old and some are stained, also has bed bug….
The prestige suite was extremely nice and the staff was amazing and constantly keeping everything spotless. If I had to criticize one thing it would be that three of the restaurants on site were way too creative trying to impress people with their skills rather than feed people that are hungry.
The villa two bedroom was amazing- comfortable and luxurious. The included breakfast and tea time was very good and the service and attention of staff amazing. BUT!! there were two major downfalls- the beach in front of the hotel was not nice. Due to a manmade barrier, the majority of the day the water of the beach receded and you could not swim or even have any beach water. The second major fault was that if you have a camera, you cannot use it on hotel property or the beach front! You are allowed to use a phone video or camera, but not a physical camera. This is the only hotel in the world we could find such restrictions. In order for us to take nice family pictures, we had to walk to the public beach next door. Completely ridiculous!
Everything is great. Worth to stay
We’ve enjoyed to stay here for our honeymoon. The staff are amazing, room and view is excellent, can’t be better. There are many activities in the hotel so we didn’t need to go out of the hotel even any meals. I would like to recommend this place to everyone especially who has special occasions.
It’s difficult to fault this property. However, the garden view is not very attractive as it looks over a road. The ocean view is the way to go
Exceptional hotel
The stay was exceptional and met all our expectations. The staff and facilities, attention to details everything were top notch. Overall, the experience worth the money spent in this hotel.
Wonderful property and staff. The best resort in Nusa Dua
Easily the best hotel in Bali
Amazing toilets
Small from towels
Suites with private pool are worth it!
What a beautiful hotel! Grand, large, wonderful service. The suites with private pool are stunning. The only downside … trying to figure out the myriad elevators is impossible. So get ready to get continuously lost ;-)
This was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The property is just absolutely stunning, even better than the pictures, and the food is delicious. The staff was so incredibly kind and friendly. Also if you get Bali belly, the hotel will send a doctor to your room and administer treatment in-room so you do not miss out on your vacation. I would return in a heartbeat!
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! Service and facilities were exemplary. Staff were incredible as was the spa treatments and food. If it wasn’t so far away from home, I would be booking for another visit soon.
Very nice property. A lot of dining options and they are great! Staff are also very good. Will definitely come back.
One of the most impressive hotels I've ever seen. Clean room, facilities and very walkable.
The property and service was exquisite would stay again and again
Imagine the pearly gates of heaven.... That just about describes this place....
A beautiful and relaxing place. Everyone has enjoyed their stay so much. The buffet breakfast provides a good choices of food. There are many kids activities as well. Recommended!
Beautiful property, amazing views
Amazing place to stay. Friendly staff, great service and plenty of options to eat. Pools and beach is clean. We absolutely loved our stay.
Best resort
A luxury break in paradise
Beautiful hotel. Amazing details in the lobby. Its massive. Quite a long walk to the front of the hotel, so don't forget anything in your room! Amazing pools and beach. Wouldn't go in the sea though. Beautiful sunrises. Decent air conditioned gym. Breakfast was good, although not the best I've had in Bali. The Indonesian cakes were very nice though.
We liked everything
.
Staff were incredibly nice here.
The experience was amazing definitely recommend staying here. Its a unique resort, the lobby has some amazing artwork, sculptures and the resort is huge. The service was 10/10 super organised and the rooms are amazing. The views are stunning and breathtaking.
This hotel was absolutely worthy $$. Clean and good service, and the hotel was so beautiful. I really want to go back again!!
Outstanding hotel with outstanding staff. One of the best hotels we have stayed in.
Amazing resort with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are large and immaculate. Excellent variety of restaurants. The entrance/lobby is extraordinary and views from the lobby exceptional. If you want to travel to Seminyak for a change of scenery be prepared for a 80 to 90 minute taxi ride. Not the resorts fault, traffic is horrible in Bali. And our taxi to the airport normally takes 30 minutes. Actually took 3 hours. Horrible. But again the resort is brilliant
This hotel is out of this world, worth it.
The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. An amazing l
5 Stars!
This hotel is top tier. We ended up extending our stay because of the lovely staff and the hospitality. They really go above and beyond here! This is my second time staying here and they do not disappoint!
Definitely a must stay in the Nusa Dua area
True Luxury in Bali!
This was an amazing property. It was hard to leave. The scenery, the food, the amenities, the accommodations and the people were all top tier. If you come to Bali, staying here is a must!
Great property, amazing service, spa facilities were excellent , easy check in
Beautiful property with spacious rooms. Delicious food at all the restaurants on property highly recommend, especially if it's your first time in Bali.
All hotel staff were helpful and courteous. My husband and I were treated with kindness. Traveling from the USA to this beautiful hotel was an experience we hope to do again. If we could give this hotel more than 5 stars we would. You can see the care and attention to detail this hotel gives. Everyone has a smile on their face and are extremely helpful. So grateful for the chance to stay at Apurva Kempinski.
Beautiful hotel, amazing food inside the hotel but not close to outdoor restaurants etc… Great if you just stay in the resort
I can admit, things did not start well upon arrival and registration at the hotel, however after a conversation with the Duty Manager (Niati), our stay at The Apurva started to look more promising, so I am very grateful to him. The hotel is a huge resort; stunning and the lobby itself is impressive. Breakfast is amazing; so many choices! The rooms are a generous size; the furnishings are elegant, and the bed is cloud, super comfy. The bathroom facilities are also a delight; spacious oozes luxury and very clean. There are so many highlights to this hotel that other reviews will point to, but let me touch on the downsides. First off, it is best to be aware this hotel has a wave breaker which aesthetically is horrid, but it allows for safe kayaking (but I don't recall seeing a vast amount of people wanting to kayak). So that dreamy sandy beach, open water view is non existent. Secondly, the food offered at the Reef (beach) or Kubu (pool) restaurants/bars are at best average. Lastly, and this is the worst part. The beach attached to the Kempinski is public! So public, that even non-guests can make use of the cabanas, day beds, loungers, and bean bags with no priority given to hotel guests. You can easily forget you're at a luxury brand hotel. They have a smaller pool near Reef Bar, which should be an adults-only pool. The kids pool and larger resort pool are accessible to all children, so why they need to be at the Reef Bar pool, makes no sense.
excellent stay, almost latest facility and very good service
We were welcomed in a wonderful way from the first moment we entered the hotel. It was a hotel we came for our honeymoon and our suite was beautifully prepared. Special thanks to Jessica in the Lady in Red department. We will definitely come back to this hotel
Incredible hotel
One of the most beautiful properties that we have ever stayed, every need meet! Staff was amazing everyone so pleasant and smiling!
nice property.
Beautiful property with great food, though food is very overpriced
The Kempinski is one of the finest hotels in Asia and maybe the world. Every aspect of the guest experience is meticulously executed to perfection, every time. One our first visit to Bali, we decided to stay here this past week. We got an oceanfront suite with in room pool. The quality of the suite and the hotel in general was practically impossible to fault. From the fantastic breakfast to the gigantic main pool to the unreal spa to the world class restaurants, everything this was amazing! The best part was the brilliant staff at every turn. Can’t say enough about this place that isn’t hyperbole…easily superior to many Ritz Carlton’s I have stayed in. Great job, Kempinski! Keep it up!
Great place for a honeymoon
Extraordinary hope to be back one day
Our family is having an amazing time here currently. It is so beautiful every corner that the camera cannot capture the actual beauty. Initially, we booked only 2 nights but decided to add 1 more night. They have great dining options and everything is delicious! We will be back again next year.
