A Disappointing Stay I had a thoroughly disappointing experience at this hotel, and I regret choosing it for my stay. Here’s why: 1. Poor Communication: Despite sending multiple emails and attempting calls to request a late check-in, I received no response. When I brought this up with the reception, I was told they were “too busy” to reply. This lack of professionalism was unacceptable. 2. Confusing Location: The hotel is poorly marked, with no clear signage or entrance indicators. I wasted a lot of time figuring out where to go. 3. Room Key Issues: My room key stopped working every other day, forcing me to repeatedly visit the reception to have it reactivated. This was highly inconvenient. 4. Rude Staff: The hotel staff lacked basic courtesy. Their demeanor was rude and unhelpful throughout my stay. 5. Unreasonable Interactions: At 4 a.m., while waiting for a cab after my wife’s early flight, I was abruptly asked if I was checking out, which made me feel rushed and unwelcome. 6. Paid Wi-Fi in a Superior Room: This was the first hotel I’ve stayed at where Wi-Fi was not complimentary in a superior room. Despite paying extra for an upgrade, there was no discernible difference between the standard and superior rooms. 7. Forcing Breakfast to Access Wi-Fi: I didn’t want the hotel’s breakfast, but I was essentially forced to pay for it if I wanted Wi-Fi access. This is unacceptable and exploitative. 8. Basic Amenities Missing: Upon checking in, there was no shower gel in the room.

Felt the Hotel don’t want repeat customers
Restaurant Staff and cleaning staff were very good, helpful and professional but reception personnel were awful, non-responsive, unprofessional and unattentive. On multiple occasions, I went to inquire from reception staff but they kept on talking among themselves without bothering to respond. Airport transfer is mentioned under popular ameneties for which I went to inquire, not even bothered to look at my face. They continued talking within themselves so I left. They need a good customer service training. Thank made me feel as if I am staying at the Hotel for free, no respect and value for customer. For sure I will not coming back gain here in this life, not sure even in the next life. I hope the management will take my feedback positively and pay attention on the customer service at reception. Our stay at The Anya Hotel, Gurgaon, from 11th September to 26th September 2024, was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for a memorable experience. Overall Stay: The overall stay was excellent. The hotel’s ambiance is a perfect blend of luxury and comfort, making it an ideal retreat in the bustling city of Gurgaon. The location is superb, offering easy access to key attractions and business hubs, which added to the convenience of our stay.

Stayed for two nights at this family owned hotel that is close to the Taj Mahal. It's in the middle of Agra, so you'll hear the sounds of the city 24/7, but it is located a block from a main street so not as noisy as other nearby hotels. The rooms were clean, staff was friendly, and you have access to sit and relax on the rooftop which was decorated nicely. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner that is cooked by the family. You sit on the balcony with the other guests and socialize while eating. All of the guests during my stay were mainly from Europe and pleasant to talk to. The hotel also offer transportation and tour guide services. I signed up for a Tuk Tuk driver named Baloo and a tour guide named Adil to take us to the Taj and Agra fort for a day. When you get to the Taj, expect to be mobbed by men offering to be your photographer. I refused them and Adir took our photographs for us instead, did a wonderful job I might add. If I ever made my way through Agra again, I would definitely book this hotel again.
Cleanness was average and breakfast buffet wasn’t much option staff service was okay
Very Pathetic hotel, under renovation but still taking bookings. They provide us staff rooms with horrible fishy smells. Not at all recommended. We changed our booking from this hotel to second. Don't make mistake to book this hotel. Also they made a fool of us. In booking they took name of one contact person and later said that they will charge for the second person although rooms are same price when booked new. Don’t fall into their trap.
Perfect Comfy Stay
I have lived at this place for long durations of time and I must say that it is a gem to find. I like the location and the convenience of this place. The staff is welcoming and very cordial. They go above and beyond to make your comfortable stay experience 5 stars. The restaurant at the hotel doesn't serve alcohol but I was told that it is in the works.
Almost 30mints of check-in Credit card machines most of the time don’t work at front desk & in Room dinning both Whatever was ordered didn’t even came on time & was also not hot & good quality After I checked-out next day morning got a call from the hotel to confirm weather I will be coming back to hotel or I have check-out it means on systems my check-out was not been done!!! Very risky to stay @ this hotel 🙏
Disappointing experience and bad experience!
The front desk staff was not helpful. Less than 3 star hotel based on the service they provided. If you order of food and room service didn’t ask you to pay right away if they don’t trust guest. They don’t wait till you check out which is usually a standard for any three star plus hotels! Very disappointing experience!! Not worth for the mone money. If you’re new to the standard hotel like taj, radisson, Hilton’s!!

The staff is always friendly and the rooms are always clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet has a variety of food. This has now become the hotel I always stay at when I am visiting Delhi/Gurgaon. The only issue I had was that the pool was out of service.

Hotel for price ok but it was a struggle to get a smile from reception staff at first untill I raised the matter Otherwise restaurant staff were all very friendly and helpful. I have traveled over most of India with work and apart from Vardera (dry state) all hotels serve beer..... but not this one. It seems the liscence is to expensive to serve it !!! So beware ( and I must be truthful ) no beer with your dinner. Otherwise Hotel ok quiet and a good nigjts sleep. Excellent wifi. Thoughout hotel. Pretty good choice at breakfast.

The staff here is extremely rude and lazy especially the female staff. When the staff does not know how to do customer service I would suggest that they should be replaced. None of the female staff I have come across in my stay here are polite and courteous... I would really suggest the management to look into this and train their staff to be polite and helpful in nature and explain them the true meaning of customer service . I have to extend my stay for another week however now I m planning to book into the other hotel because of rude behavior of the staff. I also would never come back to this hotel eveR

I didn’t like the slow service for check in and out. The bathrooms were not cleaned properly. The room service was inconsistent as in the same food ordered two days was different both times.
Wonderful
This's my third stay and would be my first preference to stay in gurgaon. My overall experience was great, asusal only thing which I really want to bring in your knowledge is the Towels wasn't good enough, smelling like some Oil or Spices. which I had highlighted in my last visit as well. Mini bar should have some more drinks (Beer) which brings hotel impulse profits. The room floor was asusal wasn't cleaned properly. You can see the stains n mop stains easily. Overall it was fun, I rate this Hotel 7.5 out of 10.
Budget yes comfort not much!
It is quite average hotel. You feel corners being cut in every aspect ie not sufficient towels in bathrooms, gym not well equiped, smaller rooms, non functioning ironing boards. Overall ok but better options are available.
Overnight stay
All very good. 2nd stay. Again, checking was a little slow, hope that being pre-booked and paid, it could be just made faster. 2nd stay and again the room had no iron and ironing board. You have to phone and get it brought up, not all that hard of course, but really shouldn't have to..
business stay
all good. Rooms were very good, and breakfast perfect. Check-in was a bit slow, but good hotel.. Good thing was I took an uber a few times, and there always seemed to be a few nearby.

One negative was the the hotel could not break a $5. Room was great. Food was great. Price was great. Staff were friendly. I will stay again.
I had requested for iron and ironing board upon check in at 9plus that night. The iron came immediately after I got into the room but the iron board didn't arrive as informed (30mins later). I waited till 11pm and didn't bother to call housekeeping. Bedroom slippers in the room didn't look clean (a little yellowish). Had requested for airport transfer at 6pm. I was late but the driver was even later. I had waited till 7:05pm (after repeated queries on where the driver is). Although I arrived at the airport and cleared immigration but I was only left 30 mins before flight departure time.

Hotel differently not 5 stars or its was in the past 5 stars I found a lot of issues in the first room then I decided to check out and go for another hotels Problems like certain is not closing, night lamp is not working and finally no hot water in the shower Then Mr. Keran who was very helpful moved to another room, this room unfortunately was close to renovation work in the hotel which was working 24 hour day and night, then Mr. Rashi moved to another room where it was OK. The linen of towel of the hotel is wear out not

Spectacular breakfast, lux accom, fabulous service
Originally booked due to all the great reviews, as a result we could not have been more happy with our choice. Service was fantastic- the hotel was not fully booked and we received an immediate upgrade! As we relied heavily on staff to help us navigate to and from Delhi and appointments, they were equally if not more accommodating whilst we were on the property. Although a distance from Delhi's center, we enjoyed Uber service at a low cost of 500rps average and an 1hr away from the busy streets and heat of Delhi. On return to hotel for the four days spent, we enjoyed the gorgeous pool side with surrounding appropriate music to cool off from the day. A complete winner in our books! Many thanks!
Overall, very good
I've stayed at this hotel a number of times and would recommend it for anyone who doesn't need to be in the centre of Delhi as this is located on the outskirts in a modern part of the city.

OK value, but not up to international business
Good value for money, but internet did not always work in the room (it was included in the room charge). Front said if I upgraded to paid service it should work for VOIP calls, but I couldn't even check emails. The location is currently isolated, but a Metro rail is being constructed that will increase access to other parts of the area.

Good hotel in upcoming area
Travelled from UK - greeted politely and efficiently on arrival. As we were group of 3 couples they had managed to put us on same floor which was appreciated. Rooms good, massive comfy beds and showers nice and hot. Breakfast buffet style and chef cooked to order - they even sent little tasters to our table which was good fun and tested our taste buds! Staff in resteraunt very friendly and efficient - nothing too much trouble. Special thanks to them - nice effort when my husbands birthday and cake sent to room. Nice bar area - again the young man there was lovely and we were well looked after by him. Room service efficient and obliging they delivered any extras promptly such as milk, towels, ironing board and iron. Unfortunately did not have time to visit spa. Obviously not a tourist area particularly - but for business travel should fit the bill. Did find the bar prices and resteraunt too pricey - we booked through Expedia got a great deal but would not pay direct price as think too steep.

Single women - beware of hotel Anya Gurgaon
middle of the night, there were calls to my room insisting that the guys wanted to come in and 'repair' my wifi - where I hadn't made any complaints, it was actually working fine, and I was a single woman traveller; to make it worse, I said I didn't need it and the guy kept insisting that I will have a problem in the morning if he didn't come in then! the most scary experience, I checked out a day early - mentioned this to the front desk manager, and till date, no one in the hotel has called to address the issue.
I booked this hotel for a friend who came to Gurgaon to visit me. And this was probably the worst hotel experience anyone could ever imagine. I dropped my friend off at the hotel reception at 11 pm and informed the manager at the counter that I have made a reservation for her through hotels.com. The manager confirmed that there is a reservation and I left the hotel then. Half an hour later, I receive a call from my friend that the manager is not able to locate the reservation. After trying further for a few minutes, he simply told my friend there is nothing they could do about it and she will have to pay again if she wanted to stay there. Let me stress again that this entire process took more than an hour, it was 12 am by then and my friend was still standing at the reception after a long day out. Eventually, I had to call up hotels.com, explained my situation to more than one customer service representatives, argued with them for more than half an hour, had them call up the hotel themselves to figure out what went wrong with the reservation I made. Somehow the manager then found the reservation later and after 2 hours of struggle, my friend finally got the room. I still don't know whose fault it was but I can for sure say that I am never having anyone stay at this hotel again. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

Nice hotel that is in a convenient location.
I stay there because this hotel is near my company's office at Gurgaon Sector 44 and the hotel is at sector 42. Roads is still under construction and the rooms did not provide toiletries like toothbrush and paste. No shaver or Robes provide. Need to improve. I was made to wait 1 hour for my room, so I went for my business meetings before coming back to my room 6 hours later. Happy to have the upgrade to a Suite. Will be back.

The staff were unpleasant and did not provide a good level of service. The quality of the hotel was nowhere near 5 star level as it was unclean, had dirt marks, a stained kettle, stained bathtub and floors that had not been cleaned for some time. We had arrived at 8pm to check in and upon arrival, they had assigned us to deluxe rooms when we had paid for superior rooms. Horrible experience and I would not recommend.
