We really enjoyed our stay, the accommodations were great, staff was friendly and accommodating, and they made my 30th memorable!
I checked in on Jan 16th and the front desk was very kind giving a early check in due to a medical appointment the first rm was 110 hallway loud noises all day from banquet staff could not sleep front desk seems to be the social hour for the staff
Fantastic hotel loved the room set up, very quiet at night comfortable beds and very helpful friendly staff. Hope to stay here again
It was clean and aesthetic
Very supportive staff / cool retro industrial theme.
Great location and value. Would highly recommend.
10/10 Stay
Probably one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Amazing service, even surprised me with a little something special for my birthday. Also provided amazing recommendations for things to do and places to eat.
Very nice boutique hotel, large, well-appointed rooms, very friendly staff, it has a good feel. The area can be a little dodgy, quite a few vagrants about. I never felt unsafe, just needed to be aware of my surroundings. One comment about the hotel: immediately after I got into my room I was aware of a loud windy noise coming from the older wall-mounted a/c. It sounded like I was on the north face of the Eiger. No amount of fiddling removed it. I called down to front desk and they sent their maintenance man - who proceeded to tell me that I have one of the "quieter" rooms! Apparently most of the other rooms have the same issue. After scouting around for another "less noisy" room he returned with the news that there wasn't one, so he then dropped off two electric heaters (it was -7 outside); if I couldn't get another room I needed heaters because there was no way I was going to get any sleep with the howling air conditioner. On the plus side, the heaters were fine - the room was nice and warm for the rest of the stay. And the management team were really helpful, calling a couple of times to ask if I was ok and needed anything else. All in all a very good hotel - I would stay there again.
It was a great experience staying at the anndore house! We truly enjoyed our time and will be back soon.
This boutique hotel is nothing but class. Elegance. Opulence. The perfect hotel for a weekend away. Staff were fantastic and friendly. Espresso Martini at the hotel bar was perfection! Great food options and shopping within walking distance. And even if you want to go a pinch further, Uber is very affordable. Highly recommend. Will definitely stay again!
We loved the uniqueness of the hotel, the retro vibe mixed with the rustic chicness, the staff was nice, we loved our stay there.
Great hotel
Loved this place !
Unique looking hotel close to bloor-yonge station. Friendly staff and tidy room. Loved it!
Very nicely renovated but still feels a little dated.
Great stY
Shower hose was very weak and was hard to take a shower
Excellent staff, excellent room, excellent hotel.
My cousin and I were in town for a doctors appointment, and since it was early in the morning (and we live an hour away) we thought it would be nice to stay in the city. I am SO glad we did. While the hotel was a bit doffocult to find when we drove in (it was night time), it was worth every penny. The valet and front desk staff were kind and courteous. When my cousin asked for a taxi to the hospital in the morning, the front desk extended our checkout until noon so I had time to go get her before we checked out. The beds were extremely comfortable, the bathroom was STUNNING and the coffee and tea provided was delicious. We are already planning a girls night in Toronto just so we can stay there again.
Great rooms and cozy hotel with great vibe. Can’t wait to stay again. Coveniant to Bloor and subway.
Our room was sleek, king was comfy had a great sleep. 5 stars
I love the rooms. Love the vibe. It's great.
Great stay
Super clean and quiet. Ultra helpful staff. Excellent location. The turntable and vinyl option for the room is a nice touch.
The bar is closing early at 23:00 ATTENTION:there is no breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. There is a brunch starting at 9:30
Nice, but restaurant food is below average
Nice hotel. Room were clean. BUT restaurant was not so good: food was too salty. I could not eat it.
It was okay. The area is quite dodgey. Skip valet. The area as you come in had a ton of garbage (presumably the valet)- cups and snacks and so on. First thing you see. The property itself was pretty. Our room had stains on the sheet. We couldn’t get our phones connected to the tv. The restaurant breakfast hours are very early and short- that’s the room service so be aware. I was hoping for more. We waited 10 min for valet and then realized the valet was scrolling his phone inside while we waited outside. 50$. :/
A great spot near Yonge and Church Street.
Cute hotel in downtown with many dinning options. The only one thing missing is coffee maker in the room.
Our hotel staff was wonderful! Restaurant was great for dinner and breakfast. The rooms were stylish and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay
The vibe/decor was unique and upscale. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Rooms are excellent and well appointed. Lots of extras like coffee maker w fresh ground coffee. Staff are great and always helpful.
Room is very comfortable and stylish, not cookie-cutter.
Great Room great hotel
Great Room. Excellent service ans super friendly staff. Would go back without any question.
Great people cozy room
Na
Bait and switch
I selected a room based on pictures on hotels.com but when I checked in that is not the one I got.
Loved the decor and how the rooms were setup.
the hotel itself was so cute! Loved all of it. the staff was so amazing and accommodating. room was spotless and comfortable. Food was great.
Good hotel
Hidden gem at Yonge and Bloor
Great location and smooth check-in. A highlight was treating myself to breakfast in that beautiful dining room! I found the electric heater a bit noisy and would have liked a comfortable office chair for a business trip, but enjoyed overall!
excellent stay
Decor was great
Hotel Looks great inside and out. Staff was very helpful and accompanying. Parking was kind of a pain , being that it's mandatory valet, one one person valeting (long wait) and only 1 cart to help with luggage. The park next to the hotel is closed and should really be listed as such , rather than advertised as a great place to walk the dog.
Great location, great hotel. Very clean and nice.
Cute place
Anndore House is located very close to the Yonge/Bloor junction, so you are right there are at the TTC, and an easy walk to the Royal Ontario Museum and Queen's Park, as well as to The Concert Hall (at the former Masonic Temple). The TTC will get you to most other major Toronto attractions easily. My biggest issue is that the hotel's valet service can't handle a manual transmission vehicle. The hotel itself (and the "valet dropoff") is very hard to find if you don't know exactly where to look/pull over on Charles Street (we literally drove past it twice), and then it turned out that none of the valets could drive a stick shift, so I still ended up parking the car myself. Even the next morning, the morning crew couldn't drive stick, so I got to retrieve my own car. It's not like I didn't trust the valets with my little underpowered Crosstrek; but they honestly balked at trying to drive it. Beyond that, the site was decent enough. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable and had a good choice of channels. There was some street noise that awoke my husband at night (I'm partially deaf and didn't hear it). Still, the area looks a little rundown, but we felt safe enough coming back after a concert at the Masonic Temple/The Concert Hall, which was about a ten minute walk. We also walked to/from the Royal Ontario Museum. Overall, I liked the site, and thought it was a decent enough place to stay. Four star hotel? That may be a stretch, but the staff was very nice.
Hotel was hard to find at first. No marking on the building of the name. Parking was valet and they were busy so I had to valet myself but still pay the $45.00.
Very friendly staff! Excellent bar and dining (breakfast) experience. Good parking available right across from the front door. Excellent proximity to shopping and transit.
A really eclectic property, awesome customer service, excellent restaurant. Rooms clean and using Canadian products, loved our stay.Highly recommend!
It was my birthday and we were staying at the hotel for the Taylor Swift concert. We could’ve been staying at a Super 8 and would’ve been thrilled, however the Anndore House made our entire experience 5 stars. My sister had called in advance to let them know it was my birthday and to request early check in. They said we would be able to check in at 2pm, they let us check in at 12:30pm. They also gifted us a suite upgrade to a higher floor and 4 free cocktails at the hotel restaurant, which was some of the best food we’ve ever had. Don’t have enough good things to say about this hotel.
The hotel was in a convenient location close to the subway station. However for the price there should be handsoap in the bathroom. Also the front of the building was covered by a wooden front and it was difficult to tell it was the hotel at all.
Modern, stylish rooms, excellent location, reasonable price. Highly recommended
Enjoyed its location and thoughtful design. All of the staff were exceptional friendly!
Friendly staff, liked the personalization - msg on TV, maid left a written note welcoming us, nice clean room, ideal location close to the subway
Cable did not work and valet parking was horrible
Modern Industrial
It’s a cute building close to a subway line which is very convenient. The rooms have a cool industrial vibe. You can hear everything in the hallway as if your door was open and they have wood slats instead of curtains so there’s no way to stop the light coming in. I had a streetlight directly in my face so it was hard to sleep. I wouldn’t recommend the on site restaurant and there’s only cable tv but it’s clean, easy check in process, comfortable beds and furniture, and a nice aesthetic. I’d stay here again :)
Great property and staff are excellent
Great location and for the heart of York like, very quiet! Really appreciated the fabulous coffee as I made my way to my first meeting. Will definitely book again.
would have appreciated more shelving in bathroom to hold items. Beautifully decorated. Friendly staff.
I recently stayed at the Anndore House in Toronto, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a stylish, modern vibe that makes it a comfortable place to stay. The morning staff was friendly and welcoming, which was a great way to start each day. However, the night staff seemed a bit unfriendly, which was a minor disappointment. One of the days, the internet was down for a few hours, which was inconvenient, especially for anyone trying to get work done. Another small issue was the lack of in-room coffee, though they did provide vouchers for complimentary coffee, which was a nice touch. Despite these minor drawbacks, Anndore House is still a nice hotel, and I would recommend it for its design and atmosphere.
The suite is very roomy and spacious. It was great to have a record player to play some background music as well as an empty fridge to store drinks and snacks. The bathroom was very clean and also spacious. The cafe downstairs was nice to get a coffee to go in the morning. I also enjoyed the snacks in the mini bar on offer. Would definitely stay again.
There was no coffee in the rooms. Had to go down to front desk. Smallest cups ever in the hall way which was full of people. Lots of hair on the bathroom floor.
Absolute gem of a property - lovely staff, great rooms and fantastic restaurant/bar. However, it is next to a church where there are lots of homeless people taking drugs at all hours. It did not feel safe.
The rooms are beautiful and spacious
Overpriced boutique hotel, with snobby rude front desk day staff that act like they are running a club in New York. The restaurant opens late for breakfast. The room design tries really hard to be edgy but falls flat like the cabinetry. The rooms are quiet, comfortable and very clean. It was between the W up the street and this one and gave it a try but should have stayed at the W for the same price.
It is the second time we stay at this hotel and we just love it.
Wonderful design. Luxurious. Cool. Exceptional food.
I thought it might be too much style over substance, but it is a great property with unique design and friendly staff, in a really convenient location. I will be back!
Comfortable & cute, not great part of town
This place was trendy and fun. The room was spacious and comfortable. There was complimentary bottled water, which most places don’t give you. The 24hr availability of someone at the front desk was helpful for an early checkout before our flight. We loved having buttons next to our bed to control the room lights. Outlets were easy to find for charging devices. The bed was comfortable and the decor was cute. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the location of town; we didn’t feel super safe. There was a guy sleeping in front of the entrance at 6am when we left one morning. We woke up to hear a mugging outside at 11pm one night.
Extremely friendly people.
Great hotel with a lot of facilities. The outside area isn’t the most convenient area in Toronto but still quite walkable.
Very clean and great. Enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.
Just ok. Modern but lazy. Good location, comfortable but bare bones.
Presents online like a nice hotel, but is actually a little strange. Strange air conditioning. Weird sounds. Overpriced for the value.
I enjoyed my stay at the Anndore. Nice room, good size, and great design/decor. The hotel is in as central a location as you can get for Toronto, which makes it easy to get around either on foot or using the subway system. That said, even though I personally loved the location, if you're not accustomed to the eclectic sights and sounds of a big city, you might not like some aspects of the neighbourhood.
Great Property loved it, microwave (had to ask) and ice cooler (have to ask) only issues but it’s a boutique property so some of these things aren’t available blue to size
Quick drop-in
Stayed here 1 night while in Toronto for our anniversary. The hotel is as the photos show. Staff were lovely and helpful. Room was comfortable. Pricing was reasonable compared to nearby high ticket hotels.
Good location and close to subway
Good hotel however next door is a place you should be concerned about
Construction work started at 7am
I appreciated how trendy the hotel is and the conveniences the location offered. I would recommend this hotel.
The staff were exceptional! Had an issue with my room upon check-in, they took care of me immediately and ensured my room was changed and even upgraded.
Nice hotel. Decor is very cool. Staff is friendly. Bed is super comfortable. Great location. Only one draw back is the city construction going on next to the hotel which fortunately is almost complete.
Loved our room and the staff was very friendly and attentive. More reasonably priced than waterfront options and central to a lot we wanted to see. Neighborhood has an urban / gritty edge but we never felt unsafe.
What I liked is above.
Great
We really liked the look and overall aesthetic of this hotel! Very clean room and cool design. The staff was so nice they made a little surprise arrangement for our engagement! Thank you so much!!
Had an amazing time!!!
Other than parking being a bit expensive whether you used valet or not, the property was top notch
In the heart of toronto
Great spot and beautiful room.
Only thing that I didn’t like was that the hotel was right beside a building for people who live in shelters. So, it felt sketchy right beside the hotel. Once you walked away from the hotel, it was fine.
Excellent stay experience. Location is great, super close to restaurants and metro. Staff are very nice, and the hotel room is really clean!
Great stay in Toronto
Great hotel in the heart of Yonge Dundas. Really comfortable for our family of four - modern and clean. Close to great restaurants and activities (short Uber or train ride).
Our stay was excellent, rooms were clean very nice
The staff are lovely and the hotel is in a great location
It was a calm surrounding, cleanness excellent, friendly staff and was close to many restaurants and local stores. The room was big enough for us, and the view through the window was fabulous !!! Thanks 😊
Excellent bed shower area and a lot of restaurants everywhere including a gelato across the street

stand out from the rest
Very nice hotel with safe self garage parking at a low rate over night or $20, 30 seconds away. Nicely Greeted for my 32nd birthday and my room was filled with gifts my friend has called the hotel prior to place in the room. The staff helped up find places to go last minute for drinks and food. Room was clean and had the coolest atmosphere. The antenti to detail was great. Only thing I was suggest is that the about 10/10 stunning bar inside the lobby stays open late. It would have been awesome to stay at the hotel and spend time there drinking and having a good time in the lounge with a great setting. I feel like having a beautiful lounge that closes after dinner is a waste Of space and a miss opportunity to make the stay 10/10.
