Nice retreat stay with wine tasting
The staff were very friendly. The room was a bit small and cramped but clean and quiet. We had an evening meal which was a bit pricy for what we got but the food was good. Breakfast was included and it was good. Overall, it was good value for money.
We stayed here when our original accommodations fell thru. It was a blessing in disguise! Giuseppe the 5th generation owner of this magnificent property surrounded by olive and orange trees gave a a glass of wine and a tour of the old wine making facilities. The property was built in 1810 and is still very functional. Besides wine for sale they offer olive oil, and the most amazing sun dried tomatoes, marmalade’s and tapenades for purchase. Awesome breakfast. We plan to come back again in springtime!
Gorgeous building with lots of character, great room and very friendly and helpful staff. The only thing that needs to be improved is the shower - I didn't dare soap my hair because I didn't believe the luke-warm trickle that came out of the shower head would ever wash it off.
Very nice property but not a lot of amenities for the price. One thing that disappointed me the room does not have potable water yet they charge for water in the mini bar. If I am wrong about this then they need to communicate this better. Luckily we had some water with us. The lady who helped us was very sweet.
An excellent night!
We were welcomed warmly to the property for our 1 night stay. The room was cosy and beautifully clean. The breakfast was great and we had a lovely walk around the grounds. We also had a private wine tasting and bought some of their wine as it was delicious! We’d definitely stay again.
Little sanctuary close to Catania
Welcomed by Carla who looked after us so well during our stay. Had a wonderful vegan breakfast (we called ahead), and a tour of the winery. Just stayed one night as we arrived late at Catania airport. Wonderful place.

Perfect experience! Very nice room, splendid dinner and friendly staff. High recommendation!
Bellissima struttura d'epoca, perfettamente mantenuta. Personale gentilissimo!!!

This was a very cool property with tons of charm. We loved the facility and grounds and it was so close to the airport, yet had beautiful views making it feel in the countryside. The only downside was probably our dinner experience. We were there during off season so there was only one other diner for dinner in the large dining area with semi private, really cool romantic areas for tables, yet we were seated right next to the other diner and about half way through dinner the music stopped, making it so quiet that any slight noise echoed. We felt we couldn’t even have a conversation because it was so awkwardly quiet. The service was also just not there and it didn’t feel right asking for things, like to have a more private table, have music, a little heat... But with that said, the food was very good, the staff (including our server) was very nice and the overall experience was excellent. Breakfast was also a nice bonus.
