The hotel is far from station but is very good of the hotel to provide free tram ride for guests. Will recommend the hotel.

Hotel is very clean and provide free ice cream, noodles, yakult and most importantly tram ride. Will recommend this hotel. Staff are very friendly.

I felt extreme abdominal pain when I arrived to the hotel on the first day. I had to ask the hotel to call an ambulance for me even if I'm non-Japanese and it's my first trip to Japan. The front desk lady helped me called one immediately and prepared my personal information right away. After I returned from the hospital, the manager upgraded my room for free for my medical condition without asking. They checked on me everyday to see if I was feeling better during the entire stay.

Here Tennen Onsen Toyama Tsurugi no Yu Onyado Nono is quite possibly the best hotel during my recent trip to Japan. Their restaurant has great food and the hotel is extremely clean! It’s close by to several attractions and the staff is extremely helpful.

Good hotel stay, highlight has to be all the additional amenities like late night ramen, free icecream and the seafood bowl breakfast. Because whole hotel is tatami, some of the common space felt abit unclean.

Fantastic location and amenities. Breakfast was a feast, the hot spring pools and sauna were superb.

This was my first onsen hotel experience and it was wonderful! The room was larger than expected with the cedar tub in the bathroom. Staff were so kind and helpful, and some spoke English (which was helpful with our limited Japanese language skills) It was less than 2000¥ for the taxi to (and from) Toyama station, or you can take the tram. Right across from a Daiwa mall and shopping arcade which made it super convenient for shopping and restaurants. Walking distance from arr galleries and museums. The facilities were spotless and the breakfast was always delicious. Would stay again.

This is a modern hotel with traditional Japanese features. Except in the reception area, you take off your shoes. In addition to the public hot spring water baths, the room had a small tub in which I could soak, seated comfortably, in hot spring water up to my neck. Finding the hotel was a bit tricky only because the sign outside is only in Japanese. But the location was great, with nice restaurants and a mall across the street, the trolley line a block over, and only a few minutes walk to Toyama Castle.

Very nice stay

Great hotel, with rooms that were larger than typical that I've experienced in Japan. Onsen on premises which I was told was very nice - but I was not able to try out due since tattoos are prohibited (this is a cultural thing and was expected - they do offer patches to cover up small ones). However, the wooden bath in the room could also be filled by the natural hot spring waters, so, private onsen! Otherwise, nice amenities, and free noodles at 9:30pm topped off a great stay

A lovely stay in Yoyama

It was a nice hotel despite being abit small. Staff is friendly and nice to have the late night complimentary noodles. Onsen is very nice and they give a new set of Yukata daily which is nice. Breakfast is very good with a variety of Japanese cuisine.

Great onsen and very comfortable beds

대욕장의 욕탕이 다양합니다. 침대는 정말 편하고 좋았습니다. 한 가지 아쉬운 점은 방이 약간 작아서 여행가방 두 개를 둘 곳이 마땅찮다는 것입니다.

Can’t say enough nice things about this hotel! Soaking tub in the room. Centrally located with several restaurants and shopping just across the streets. Leaving your shoes downstairs and walking in stocking feet takes a little getting used to but when you see the pristine tatami mats in the room, you’ll understand why. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay at this hotel when we return to this hotel!

It is hard to find because of lack of signage. The name is confusing on the GPS.

Very nice hotel. We enjoyed the local area and the Japanese style room. Got to try the bath--a nice treat.

This hotel has "premium" Dormy Inn amenities, e.g., a large bath area and a bit more of a ryokan-like flavor. The location is a fair distance from the train station at the edge of Toyama's rather spread-out central area, but the free tram tickets (available to foreigners only) and shuttle bus helped with this.

Very small room, but has everything in it so can't complain. Very very very clean and neat room for sure. Location is very convenient. Hotel staff is very helpful and friendly.

Unique hotel with an onsen and great bathroom.

Recommend staying at this hotel if you want a Japanese experience - tatami mat flooring, onsen, ramen evening treat, comfortable bed and very clean...but a little small for two suitcases in the room...but I would recommend others stay here. It was a comfortable walk from the JR station with glas museum and shopping in close proximity.

Surprise in Toyama

Great hotel. Super clean, very functional, very pleasantly designed, at a great location, and very comfortable price. We enjoyed very much. The only flaw is that the staff can barely communicate in English

I booked this hotel because of its spa facility. The hotel is close to couple of tourist spots such as Glass museum, Toyama castle park, International Conference Centre. You can visit all of them on foot. I also found that it's quite easy to access this hotel if you take loop tram from Toyama station.

A wonderful Japanese hotel with an onsen. Will definately stay there again and will recommend it to anyone looking for a different hotel experience.

Luxurious minimalism and excellent private tub

We only stayed one night (it was our one "fancy" place on our trip to Japan), but it was wonderful. We booked because of the onsen, but didn't even end of using it because our room had a lovely wooden tub that you could fill with the same natural mineral water that is used in the larger onsen facility. Bed was comfortable and all amenities high quality. The breakfast was also an unexpected treat - a Japanese buffet! So many new things to try but also with food items more familiar to Western palates.

Toyama

One of best hotels I’ve stayed at in Japan. Everything was outstanding; the facilities, amenities, food, transportation. Most definitely will be back again!

Wonderful wonderful

What a wonderful hotel, especially for the money. All flooring is made of tatami mat so you leave your shoes in a locker in the lobby. the room was small but very well laid out and functional. Each room has a private onsen bath. The highlight though is the onsen spa on the 2nd floor which consists of several different types of natural hot spring baths (wooden tub, infinity pool, outdoor bath, Massage bath, etc.). It also has a dry and wet sauna. I only stayed one night but wish I could have stayed a week!

Very nice & clean Japanese style hotel.

Nice Japanese style hotel with friendly staff. The hotel has tatami floors and has a no shoes policy so they have lockers with keys for your shoes. They have Onsen with different baths, steam and sauna rooms, for women and men separately. You also have a private bath and shower in your room. They confidently provide pajamas and toiletries so there's no need to bring your own. The hotel is about 10-15 min walk from Toyama Station. There is a free shuttle during the morning from the hotel to the station. The front desk also provides 2 free trolley bus tickets to foreign visitors. They also provide free tickets to ride the trolley bus for 1/2 price so you only pay 100 yen for each ride. The Ote Mall trolley bus stop is right behind the hotel. The Loop Line to Toyama Station takes less then 5 min.

Awesome stay

The stay was fabulous with hot spring in the room and the breakfast spread was the best i ever had. Will definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.

This is our favourite place to stay when we visit Toyama. There is a great onsen facility in the basement, and a solid hinoki bathtub in the room which fills up with onsen water. It's great! It is near a shopping arcade with lots of restaurants/bars nearby, located on the loop line and near every bus stops to/from Toyama station. It's also a short walk to the castle... doesn't get much better than that! You do have to take off your shoes in the lobby so.... that might put off some people.

We enjoyed our stay here very much! The room is clean. The public hot bath is spacious and comfy, which relieve your stress after a long day. They offer free ramen at late night as well. Will definitely stay here when visiting Toyama again.

New hotel, nice onsen and ramen

If you come from the train station, either take the loop tram (200Yen) or walk around 15 mins to the hotel. Look out for Daiwa department store, hotel is located directly opposite, across the road. There is a shopping street opposite but the shops closed at 8pm, so really not much to do or shop after that. Room size is adequate, everything is new and well laid-out. There is a public onsen on the 2 floor, it's really relaxing to soak in the warm pool after a tiring day. Hotel provide free ramen after 9.30pm, a very thoughtful and nice gesture. On the last day we wanted to forward our luggage to Shinano Omachi while we tour the alpine route, Hotel can only arrange next day delivery. Alternatively, take their shuttle service to the train station, there is a counter which can forward our luggage within the same day.

Close to perfect

One of my best hotel experience. Hotel is a mix between modernity and tradition. Very successful. Rooms and bathrooms are awesome, very good quality. Onsen (public and IN your room !) is great.

The hotel is in very good and new condition with a very good onsen.

The rooms are clean and bed is huge for Japanese standard. The hotel upgraded our rooms and the room has it's own private cypress bath, good for those who don't feel comfortable going to public onsen. The onsen is nice and clean, also the late night ramen. Overall very pleasant stay for 2 nights.

Nice, new hotel

It was clean, nicely decorated. Leaving shoes in the lobby area makes for quiet hallways. The onsen is so enjoyable with a variety of tubs to chose from. Breakfast was excellent. The staff was generally helpful. The only negative was that we had some difficulty finding the hotel as there were no signs in English on the outside of the building.

The hotel is relatively new and has a traditional Japanese style. There is access to the spa which was very relaxing. Women have a password protected area in the spa. The breakfast was also very good.

There are plenty of hot spring facilities and breakfast. The rooms are compact in size, but even the private rooms have hot spring facilities. The price range is on par with other business hotels, but the level of content is on a whole other level.

11月半ばに滞在、北陸の海鮮を楽しみにしていましたけど朝食の海鮮はマスイクラとマグロの漬け ぶつ切りのみでした。この時期 入り始めたぶりや ホタテ イカなど期待していましたが 残念です。北海道とはえらい違いますね。 唯一 良い点は部屋についていた 檜風呂 源泉 かけ流しでよかったです

月イチでお世話になってます！ モデレートダブルの部屋はちょっと狭めに感じますがのんびりはできます。部屋によって畳の状態に差があってたまに気になりますが(^_^;) 部屋風呂は1人で入るにはちょうどいいサイズです。 毎回朝食バイキングは楽しみにしてますが、最近は自分で作る海鮮丼の並びにオクラが堂々といて魚介少ないなぁって少し残念な思いです！

大浴場に色々なお風呂があり、楽しめた。お風呂上がりにはアイスや乳酸菌飲料が飲めて良かった。 全室かはわからないが、客室のヒノキ風呂も温泉が蛇口から出るようで、部屋でも温泉が楽しめて良かった。

接客も良かったですし お宿もとても清潔でした。ありがとうございました。また伺いたいです。

入ってすぐ、下足室があり 滞在中床が畳で気持ち良かったです。 お風呂も、たくさん種類があり サウナもあり疲れが取れました。

やはり露天風呂付大浴場が魅力！

「和風モデレート ダブルルーム 禁煙」を一人で予約しました。 今回の利用目的は県内外からの知人に利用してもらうのに相応しいかがポイントでした。 その中でも大浴場が和風の檜風呂で露天風呂付きで、尚且15時〜翌10時まで利用出来るのは高ポイントだと思います。(サウナのみ1時〜5時停止) サウナも「ドライサウナ」だけでなく、「ミストサウナ」もあるので好きな方は楽しめそうです。泡風呂や炭酸泉はありませんが、「丸桶の檜風呂」と変わったところで「打たせ湯」がありました。 また比較的新しいとはいえ、館内全体が清潔感に溢れ、大浴場の音楽も時間帯に合わせてチョイスされており、心地良い時間が過ごせました。 その他隣接の立体駐車場を利用すると、1,400円で「１日定期券」と交換してもらえるので、チェックイン後に車で観光される方には、翌同チェックイン時刻まで出入り自由なので色んな旅行の楽しみ方が出来そうだと感じました。
