The staff does not work at all. We are talking several times for requesting a thing, but there is nothing to be fixed.

Love the way Ghanian art and culture was integrated into the motif of the hotel, offering a respectfully, welcoming environment. It was a good experience and would definitely consider again.

Breakfast buffet spread is quite good. Coffee not good. It is the brewed on pot. Welcome drink given. Air con strong. Bathroom shower strong. The food in the Chinese restaurant quite salty.

I loved the hotel. Rooms were spaces and clean. Pool and pool facikities were really good also. Thr hotel is about 10 mins from the airport which makes getting thete super easy. Dining iptions were average with a heavy emphasis on Chinese cuisine. The Chinese management distrubed me. It looked as though they were constantly monitoring the staff and had a constant frown on thier faces. I personally didnt like this at all but the staff seemed not to mind, though i wonder if this would have been the case where there was a surplus of jobs. The other staff was awsome. No complanits at all.

I would definitely stay at the Tang Palace again. It was clean and the staff was friendly. My only criticism is some of the response time in the on-site dining area and in the pool area with drink orders. With that said, I’d still book here.

Excellent stay! Pull was down for the day do to festival. They all use extend our stay so the kids could enjoy themselves

Tang Palace is very well appointed. The attention to detail is meticulous and the services are top-notch. I did not give it 5-star for 2 reasons: they bungled the airport pickup, forcing us to get a taxi at our own cost. Nobody bothered to apologise and the Christmas vibe was a bit too low-key even though they offered a complimentary drink, which was a nice gesture.

It would benefit to have a microwave in the rooms and more towels for guests

Superb Hotel

What a beautiful hotel, this hotel does deserve its name Palace. A very well maintained hotel all over, very nice. All members of staff were truly professional and an absolute credit to their profession. The receptionists, Eugenia, Roberta, Sylvester and the others were amongst the best hotel staff I have encountered. They made sure that I was always taken care of. The restaurant staff were on point with their service and very welcoming. I had a great time interacting with them. The rooms that I stayed in were very clean and well kept, courtesy of the cleaning staff. I will recommend the Tang Palace Hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Accra. Elegant/ Comfortable Hotel- will return

The rooms are very comfortable with thick pile carpets. Service is excellent. Swimming pool was enjoyed, along with gym in pleasant garden setting

Hotel is smoke in mirrors

Arrived at 2p and had to wait in the lobby for over an hour to get checked in. Wasn’t offered anything complimentary for the inconvenience. Even though I had a suite that could sleep at least four people, guest service only allowed me two key cards and said only two people could eat breakfast when I had four people in my party. To add, you need to keep one key card in the room in order for the lights and air to work. Very inconveniencing for a place charging $400 a night. The breakfast food was not good at all.

Shopping is not ideal. The road is not fully develop. Friendly and beautiful weather.

Hidden Gem of Hotels

What a great find . The hotel communicated beyond expectations , shuttle was at the airport waiting and my flight landed early 👍 Every member of the hotel staff are kind courteous and knowledgeable . The pool is awesome ! And the 24hr kitchen was a game changer lol . I will for sure be staying at Tang Palace again and again .

This was my second visit to the Tang, it is also my last. The condition of the stairs in our room led me to have to go to the emergency room to get stitches for the gaping wound caused by the stairs. There was no managerial staff available on the weekend and I was forced to pay my hospital bills out of pocket. I’m an effort to give the establishment a second chance, I brought a group of 20 for lunch. After over 2 hours, not everyone received their food and many who did received cold, half-cooked or incomplete meals. Despite numerous complaints to the reataraunt manager, Charles; the situation was never resolved and we were forced to pay for food and service that were below substandard in quality. I WILL NEVER FREQUENT THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN and caution others to avoid it at all cost. I have traveled the world and never received such horrendous treatment. My group had to cut their activities short due to the long wait to get to the airport in time to catch their flight. I frequently come to Ghana and strongly advise others against frequenting this establishment.

Hidden Gem

A surprise in Accra. This property is very well maintained and provides excellent service and amenities. I have stayed in a few properties in the Accra area. The rooms are beautiful and provide every amenity that a traveler could require. Comfortable beds, wonderful shower, and beautiful bar and dining area. A pleasure.

Excellent hotel. The staff very nice and accommodation. The pool is really nice and the food was very good. They have a free shuttle to the airport each hr, which is very convenient. I liked the buffet options and in the nights they have live music. Definitely one of the best choices in Accra

Nice location and new property with good rates if you do your home work. They have some entertainment on Friday which is good and staff at the front desk are professional. Only areas of improvement in my humble opinion are: - Fix the TV channels, does not make sense in this day and age for a new property to have crappy reception or channels listed but not working. - Make sure your house keeping stops knocking on guests doors at 9:00am when checkout is not until 12:00. - Breakfast is good but please try and make sure there is food even after 10:00am. - For rooms like 149, please investigate how best to deal with the whistle noise from the neighborhood or at least inform the guest so they are aware. That is my honest opinion, I will be happy to comeback again and hope by then changes will be made.

In general a good property but the bar facilities close very early at like 10pm and this is not ideal for business travelers

I love this property. A beautiful break from the hustle and bustle of Accra. Off the beaten path but close to it all. Superior quality bedding and spacious rooms made for the perfect rest.

Pleasant Old World Charm in busy Accra

We had a very pleasant stay at Tang Palace. It has old world charm and elegance along with high end service. The room and bathroom are well furnished with a nice balcony. Recommend facing the pool. The breakfast buffet has a good variety of food. The restaurants have good atmosphere and service. The Chinese restaurant could use background music. Pool area was clean with live music each night. We would stay here again if in the area.

Nice hotel shame about staff and food

Hotel is excellent but it is let down by the majority of its staff they seem to be in the wrong job unhelpful even failing talk to say good morning or talk whilst ordering food Food very poor breakfast and dinner in buffet lacks variety and is most always cold failing to keep it hot maybe local people like it that way but not for us due to bacteria Shame as lovely hotel Pool guard excelled Bar was closed though out our stay would have been good to sit somewhere inside to enjoy a drink and not out in Mozi territory

our room was beautiful, the decoration and quality were very good. The city view from our balcony was a building site, so a little disappointing. The pool area was beautiful and relaxing, however, the pool was over-chlorinated with a dark scum around the tiles and filters.

Booked a pool view room with a balcony on a high floor. Beautiful hotel, great location, the restaurant is a must-visit! Friendly and helpful staff! I would highly recommend this hotel. Comfortable bed, great bathroom and I loved the location. I have no complaints at all.

Nice Hotel, Amazing Staff

The hotel is well maintained and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Would stay there again when I return to Accra. It is a little far from the beach and OSU area so you will have to use Uber’s or Taxis. Only ordered food once extremely late at night (1:30am) so can’t judge the food.

Unhappy staff and a dead giraffe in the lobby

The place has odd vibes, the staff rarely smiles. A life-size skin of a killed giraffe spread on a lobby wall is horrible. Giraffes are amazing to watch live, not dead on the wall like that. I booked a massage at the hotel spa. It was so awful that I cut it short.

Great Stay

We absolutely loved it. I've been a guest in the cigar lounge many but stayed in the hotel. It was quiet, room service spot on, and staff friendly as always. Parking is secure with some underground. The buffet and Chinese restaurant were spot on. Thanks so much. I'll be back.

Great place

Stayed here for a short business trip a few weeks ago, big comfortable room, great food and really nice to chill out by the pool area. But the main thing i want to comment on is the staff, super friendly and helpful and did i really nice thing by getting the managers approval to let me have a late check out on the day i was leaving ( as my flight was at night time ) . sorry to leave this review so late, but thanks so much to the staff and mangers for making my stay so enjoyable. Hopefully i'll get to revisit again sometime soon

They scan your passports and lie that this is an immigration requirement, don't be fooled it is Chinese government gathering info. Clean nice room, but not worth risking your passport data - DO NOT STAY

The service was terrible. Difficult to have the room service give you empty glasses and ice. You have to talk to a manager. The breakfast service charges you additional for espresso coffee or any other coffee than the tasteless coffee served in the pot although breakfast is paid as part of the room.cost. I will not stay there.

Overall great experience at the Tang Palace - Will do it again

The hotel rooms was very clean and orderly. The resturant staff was very disappointing. The management or restuarant staff did not engage or fraternise with the patrons. Lots more staff training are required to meet what I consider to a satisfactory standard.

poor check in, multiple returns to reception for wrong room, wrong key second guest, although clearly on the screen, was treated as if not in the system electrical sockets all needed attention toilet also needed attention and even after that, filled very slowly vague stale smoke smell but removed after air conditioning put on even though breakfast already paid for, to have it int he room was not just a tray charge, had to be fully paid for again!! Bar prices excruciating Most of the staff were friendly enough though

High Quality Accra Hotel

We stayed one night when arriving to Accra and enjoyed it enough that we booked another 3 night for the end of our stay in Ghana. The room and facilities were all very nice. The interaction with the staff was quite pleasant. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets although a bit more variety in the menu choices will be appreciated. The food quality and portions were both fine.The wifi signal was not consistent during the day or in various parts of the hotel. All things considered, we will definitely be returning again while visiting in Accra.

Perfect hotel, in not so crowded locality of Accra. Clean and well managed.

This was my first time staying at the Tang Palace Hotel. It is very conveniently located, has good service (though the problem with my AC was not fixed during my 4-day stay there) and it is clean as well. They have very nice restaurants including one Chinese restaurant that offers very good Chinese food; they also have very nice Thai spa in the hotel. I have only one very big CONCERN about the hotel and a recommendation to the management of the hotel. In the main lobby, on the large wall along the main stairs is hanging a huge skin of giraffe. The sight of this poor giraffe is really very disturbing! Given that several of the giraffe species are considered as 'critically endangered' by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List of Threatened Species, seeing the skin of dead giraffe at the Tang Palace Hotel is extremely sad and inappropriate! I would like to urge the management of the hotel to remove the giraffe skin and maybe substitute with a picture, video or canvas that is more environment and wildlife friendly and calls for preserving giraffes and wildlife rather than creating a photo opportunity or place for entertainment. Thank you!

I’ve stayed a few other times in the past, but on this occasion it felt like the quality has deteriorated a bit.

Airport shuttle was very helpful. FYI: We did have to call the hotel on the telephone to confirm the shuttle; they did not respond to our email messages.
