The hotel room was great, service was great, the room service food was not as great as I expected, but the overall feeling is that I would return happily.

Stayed on the side where rooftop A/Cs or similar machines were that worked pretty much all night so produced noise. I had to use my earplug as a lighter sleeper.

I had an excellent stay at a Business Suite in Swissotel. Very clean room and common areas. Staff were extremely attentive from the get-go. The bed and room supplements were A1 and I slept soundly all nights during my stay. We were given two fresh bottles of water and 4 shots of espresso coffee every day. All toiletries (shampoo, soap, shower gel, conditioner, body lotion, robes, towels) were replenished daily as well. Food at the breakfast buffet, at the lobby bar and at La Locanda was delicious and plenty. Osso and Anima e cuore are located across the hotel and are also great options. We tried out the pool, sauna (dry sauna and steam room), gym and tennis court and all were in great condition and we had a great time there. We also requested snacks in the pool's exteriors. We also had a massage for couples at the Specchi Spa and it was the best massage we've ever had.

The staff of the hotel, in general, was very pleasant. The area around the hotel was nicely quiet. They have an excellent restaurant on premises. The amenities were outstanding.

Swissotel Lima - 4-5 Star Luxury Hotel

The Swissotel Lima is located in the upscale, residential San Isidro neighborhood within a five minute walk of the beautifully restored Huaca Huallamarca adobe pyramid and close to restaurants and nightlife. In my opinion, it’s a 4-5 star hotel with great views of the city, a spectacular indoor/outdoor heated pool, elegantly decorated interior rooms with remote control window coverings, and comfortable beds with a variety of pillow types. There’s a spa and a gym and complimentary Wifi. Although check in time is at 3:00 pm, the reception desk personnel were so very kind as to allow us entry to our room by 10:30 am as they knew we were exhausted from our international travel. I would definitely choose this hotel for my next stay in Lima and definitely recommend it.

I have stayed at the Swissotel in San Isidro many times. It always has top notch service and is impeccably clean. Also, the restaurants on-site are on point. La Locanda has delicious food and wonderful staff. I only One issue, and in my opinion is big. They used to have wonderful amenities in the room. Wonderful little bottles of Shampoo/Conditioner/Lotion. Why did you go to the communal dispensers? It cheapens the property in my opinion. You have such a pretty property, the communal dispenser almost makes me want to decrease my rating by 1/2 of a star. I know it seems minor, but I do not like these, especially since the pandemic, especially since I/we don't know who puts what into what... I know you might think I am knitpicking, but I am really against the communal dispensers in any property...

Swissôtel Lima is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff was continuously friendly, attentive, and helpful. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. I was highly impressed by this hotel and the hard working staff. When I came down with an illness from my travels the hotel nurse and staff took excellent care of me and helped me recover quickly. They always greeted me on entry and leaving. This hotel is high-class and one the best. I enjoyed my stay greatly!

Very friendly service. Comfortable in general but the bathroom faucet leaked, and one of the towels had some sticky green material on it; for the price, these things shouldn't really happen.

The staff has been more “eager” vs. “accepting” when it comes to my special request: taking the service elevator instead of the glass elevator. (If you’re a fan of heights, I bet it’s a really good time.) Anyway, everyone here is awesome.

A good but not great hotel for the price, in my opinion. Because I am an Expedia Gold member I was given a room upgrade and even then I found my hotel room to be fairly average. Again, nothing bad whatsoever, but for billing themselves as a luxury hotel, I was expecting more.

5 star plus, plus hotel

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Both the bedrooms & bathrooms are very roomy with a couch & 3 chairs. The bathroom has the best water pressure of any hotel I have ever stayed in. The shower is heavenly. The breakfast buffet is delicious & has an excellent variety as well as omelets prepared by the sweetest woman. Everyone there is extremely attentive and helpful. The El Cantada restaurant has the best pasta. It is centrally located and we walked to many items on our list of things to see in Lima. The concierge, Martin, was so helpful in arranging our day trips for other areas of Peru. All in all, I would definitely stay there again & would highly recommend it. The Peruvian soccer team stayed there during part of our visit and was very exciting. The Christmas decorations were everywhere, I lost count of the number of Christmas trees & were absolutely gorgeous, they even had a Santa's house.

Outstanding staff

The location is great for San Isidro. The staff are very friendly and helpful, all speaking very good English. The breakfast is OK. The gym is OK - would have expected more equipment. The lobby is great - lots of space. It's just a bit dated when compared to other hotels. But again, the staff are fantastic and a safe area.
