Dirty exit to stairwell made us wonder about the cleanliness of our stay. But once in the room it was great. Clean & well kept. I little noisy due to thin walls but comfortable.

Perfectly average. Good beds, reasonably clean, a little noisy. Less expensive then other options in town, good value.

Sauna

I would not put my dog in the hot tub. It was clean and convenient

I rented this "dog friendly" room. My dog immediately was trying to get something from under the tv cabinet. I reached under and aside from a thick layer of dirt, there was a piece of loose chocolate. Chocolate is poison for dogs. Automatic 1 star. There were cobwebs on the wall next to the toilet and bathroom floor was dirty. The pillows were covered in what I am assuming was a previous guest's hair. Also, the tv didn't turn on.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the bed was clean and comfortable. The room was comfortable and clean. Great value for the price!

The hotel is conveniently located near the highway and very easy to get in and out of. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Check in and out were very easy and efficient. Front desk staff were helpful and efficient. Parking on site was easy, and plugs were available for my engine block heater.

Stopover stay

The room was cold on our arrival, 10C and took a while to warm up as there is no forced air heating, just radiant. Once it warmed up it was good for the night. Room was clean and beds were good. Maintenance on the bathroom door was a bit of an eyesore. Place could use a bit more TLC. For a one night stopover, it was adequate. Hot tub was good to have to warm up.

For the price, this is actually a really good deal. Its easy to get too and staff are friendly. The hot tub and sauna are awesome. No breakfast or coffee in the rooms but they have instant coffee and hot water at the entry. Shower pressure is weak but overall a good experience for some snowboard/skiers.

Easy parking , quiet

The bedding and bed are good. Tv is standard cable but good quality. Room is large. There is hot water in the lobby for instant coffee. Not ideal, I do not want to leave the room to get hot water..

We liked the whirlpool and facilities at the reception - The receptionist was efficient and helpful. Access from the parking to the room was convenient. Traffic was noisy in the daytime ( a truck route) , but quiet at night. The room had chairs and a table for office work or meals. Although the motel was older, it was recently updated with paint, tiles and fixtures. It could have used more hangers. The location was convenient to Highway 1 and McDonald's but was not near downtown.

Loved the easy access of parking at motel. Staff were friendly. Room was good. Beds were comfortable and clean. Management could invest in coffee makers for each room. Rates were reasonable for the one night stay.

Rooms have been updated mostly. Was able To check in early with our pet with lots of space in the room. Close to food providers(walking distance) Would have been nice to have more information when checking in ie. hot tub hours, where the coffee is available, where we could find a place for breakfast, where to leave full dog waste bags….. Overall enjoyed our stay and found it good for the price point.

The Swiss Village Inn is an older property that is a tiny bit tired but given the price it was precisely what one would expect. It isn't fancy but the location is close to the highway and a lot of fast food locations. There was a lack of convenient outlets in the room for plugging things in but I managed to make it work. The television is large and there is WiFi that was a bit sporadic but usable. For me it was fine for a short stay while working in Golden.

Room and bathroom were marginally clean and haven't been updated in ages. Noise from the road and poor sound proofing between rooms. Beds were clean and comfortable, but would not stay here again. No coffee machine in the room. No coffee in the lobby, only two hot water urns with a selection of tea bags.

Rather old property , no elevator .. long pack with luggage

Smooth, friendly, informational check-in. Bed was comfortable. Room was outdated, but clean. Nothing fancy, but perfect for a one night stay.

The staff at this hotel was welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. We also loved the convenient location close to Yoho national park.

Service was rather casual and unprofessional. Property was generally very tired and rundown. Parking area and area behind building was lifted with bits and pieces of rubbish, etc.

Good place to stay for the price. The pool and hot tub area was nice. The room was just what we needed.

Hotel doesn't have an elevator, you have to carry heavy suitcases and other belongings on your shoulders and head to climb upstairs.

It was a pleasant stay at Swiss Village Inn. Quiet area and staff was very friendly. Complimentary coffee was a plus!

The room was large and spacious, with a convenient refrigerator and microwave. The accommodation has a jacuzzi but we were not able to use it; the first day it was closed and the second day it was full of people. Overall, it was a good place to stay.

Parked right outside the door. There was a stove, fridge and dishes. There was a couch in front of the TV and lots of counter space. The bed was tall and very comfortable.

only thing i didn't like were the stairs to get to 2nd floor room but besides that the room was clean and in good condition

Too old property. The front office staff was nice. It is good if you are on a very tight budget and want to crash for 1 night.

Although it’s the sign said no pets i There was dog hair all over my socks in a matter of minutes once I walked through the room. Coffee filter but no coffee pot. No hot water for the kitchen sink generally a poor day wouldn’t recommend.

Dead bugs on the window ledge. Buildup of hair and dirt on the bathroom floor. Beds need upgrading. While room needs an upgrade. Not soundproof. But for the price it’s rather what I expected.

The property was clean but old. You get what you pay for, however the fact that I had to pay $230 for this accommodation is atrocious.

Sauna didn’t work, only a whirlpool with tepid water.

The rooms were quite clean and we were pleased with the he stay. The outside look older but there have been inside renovations. No elevator but the stairs to the second floor were wide. Instant coffee and tea were provided near the entrance.

Smoke detector looked very old and there was no steady green light or flashing red light to indicate it was working. No breakfast included.

Very old and dirty looking. Looks like nothing has been updated in the last 100 years! The bed was the most uncomfortable bed and was squeacking with slightest movement even breathing. Door did not lock from outside and the inside chain lock was removed. I was so creaped out that I was not comfottable using the blanket.
