The property surroundings are very nice, staff friendly. The uphill walk to the food outlets can be a little challenging for the slightly unfit, but the coming back home is great., A short GRAB ride to the Genting highlands, to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and scenery. A peaceful place to relax
Overall stay was good, however, during check out time, 4 out of 6 lift under maintenance, only 2 lift working, and we stay at 32 floor, we waited from 11am till 12 noon only managed to get the lift to the lobby, my sibbling choose to walk down from the staircase to the lobby with luggage from Level 32 due to long wait. When raise the issue to front desk, attendant just simply said lift under diff management, sound like Swiss Garden does not care ever whether you satisfy with the stay or not. My 1st time encounter this issue. Please think twice if to book, else pls request lower floor so that can easily walk down to the lobby when all lift does not work.
The worst hotel I have ever stayed. The rooms are too small. There is no place to put the bag. Bathroom has no vanity. Water in the shower floes very slow. No hot water in the sink. Booked a full kitchen but there was no microwave, no pots, no utensils, not even a teaspoon to make tea, what a shame. I would say never book this hotel. I was given room 3333A. This room supposed to be numbered 3334 but the owner does not want to use the No. 4. This room is located after 3333 so I could not find my room. I had to go back to the reception from floor 33 to get a staff to come and show me the room. The staff should have told me when I checked in but they told me nothing.
Check in took about 1hr even when no crowd. Lift is always full and have to wait very long. Floor of the room is dusty and they forgot to put towels and amenities. The balcony door have gap in between and insects come in at night from that gap. Breakfast is bare minimum but the coffee is good. Troublesome to always inform the front desk of ur car plate no every time u go out.
The hotel is located mid-hill near the town. Many eateries within walking distance. Not too expensive place to stay.
Nice apartment hotel stay in Genting.
We had stayed here for two nights in two bedrooms room which come with kitchen and living room. The general cleaness is ok. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast buffet was OK, but the egg omelets was not so fresh. So the taste was a bit weird. The hotel is not up at top of Genting Highlands. So need to drive 20 mins in order to reach casino or theme park.

Place was clean and accessible to nearby shopping and eating spots. Staff were helpful and polite.

The toilet is not clean in the hotel. The plate was not cleaned very well in the restaurant.
I love everything about this hotel. Family friendly. If you bring kids, you can ask for kids cutlery at their restaurant. I will be more than happy if the hotel can provide microwave and basic cutlery in their residence. They do have electric stove but you need to bring your own if you wish to cook.
The restaurant's breakfast has lots of variety. However, some food were cold. Pools above the residential block have lots of kids and the pool water look dirty. The room was clean and satisfactory. Great walking paths outside of the restaurant.

Book somewhere else
The rooms are quite spacious bad clean. Everything else was quite bad. We had a room on the 31st floor and had to wait for an elevator for 15mins for breakfast and after a 35min wait for checkout we walked all the way down. When we got to breakfast at 9:15 there was no food left. There were no tables, and there were way too many people. It was mayhem. People were getting angry at the staff. We just ate lettuce and boiled rice in the end. And then paid for breakfast somewhere else. While this was going on they were still letting people in and taking payment from the people who didn't have breakfast included. The pool etc were all in a different building which belonged to residences. Which means you have to get the super slow elevator down - go outside - change building, go back up the elevator to the pool. Then you are at a building on holiday where people actually live.
The room come unprepared even though check in at 9pm. The in-room telephone is not functioning and reception call line always unattended.

When book time show apartment photo but reach is 1 room photo. Se more with kid. Worst trip
I stayed at 15th floor. To my suprise the window can be fully opened without lock. My 5yrs old boy already opened the window to feel the Coolness of the morning breeze.!!!! A very Heart stopping moment for us parent!

Not a pleasant experience. I checked in, no towel provided. No towel, no face towel, no floor mat. careline difficult to reach, after soooo many trial dial, then the towel arrived at the door. But still, no face towel or floor mat. toilet it smelly, outside very noisy, can hear the neighbours yelling and shouting. Drunken i guess. The sliding door at balcony lock did not function. Very dangerous to kids. I am shocked with the service i received compared to the priced i paid almost 1k per night. Will never come again in the future.

Good location and views from the hotel
Reception was rude. hotel management agreed to do birthday setup, but on the day, hotel blame us. the bell boy Rosli very good.
Staffs in general, not too skillful. Not able to find out my booking with breakfast. Take long time until I can show proof. Breakfast place is no good. Foods are terrible. Won't consider to stay this hotel again
Nice short gateway at Swiss Garden
Nice spacious room, clean and looks very new. The staff friendliness & politeness are commendable but, the only drawback is the breakfast quality, though it has a good spread but it was cold, tasteless & really need to hire a good chef.
Poor car park signage
Overall stay was great except car park are a bit messy which lack of signage.
Swiss Garden Hotel Genting review
1. Room is not clean 2. Noise of renovation started at 8am in the morning. Even with complaints few times, the hotel took longtime to respond 3. The room’s deco is not up to hotel standard. 4. No hot water whole shower . 5. The staffs are not well trained.
Stay 3days 2 night but no housekeeping for next day.

Housekeeping need to improve
Swimming pool is nice. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. However, housekeeping need to improve to keep the rooms, etc. clean and in good condition
We booked for 3 people and they ended up giving us 2 twin beds in a room (best for 2 people). When asked for an extra bed they told me the charge is $150. They wouldn't even give us an extra bedsheet for the 3rd person. Rude staff and Terrible service. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Good location
Away from the crowded genting highlands but still near restaurants and mini mart. Suitable if you are driving but the hotel also provides shuttle service to Genting Premium Outlets. Ice big pools and gym too!
Hotel very good for holiday
Service and amenities disappointing for a new hotel. Feels understaffed and questionable workmanship with paint marks and dust all over the room. Overall feel of the hotel reminds me more of a service apartment instead of a hotel so don’t expect much by way of service. Go in with little expectations and you’ll be fine.
Nice location, shop and reaturant nearby. The facilities were great but have to go down the lobby and cross to the next building to get to all the facilities. The pool was nice but no pool towel provided. Was told that towel provided at the lobby, but I dont see any towel counter and at that time it was really crowded with people checking in. Another bad side is the process of checking in took quite some time during public holiday and the lift was so slow during check in and check out. Should add more lift. The room was not that clean either but bareable.

Great property with horrible maintanence
They have only 3 lifts for 30 odd floors. One of their lifts had a fault - the open button would not work— we complained to management twice yet it was not shut off. Three children got stuck in between right in front of us— with the manager being a witness to one of the incident! Insects in room No hot water for sink The room looks clean since the property is new but was not cleaned well. Found cookies and toys under the bed!
The check in process extremely slow. We need to wait for 30 mins when we reach at 6.30pm. The staff told us our room is not yet clean and not ready yet. When we check in the room finally, the bed is not join as per their promise during booking. We have to move and join the beds ourselves and there are so many rubbish under the bed like hat, hair and plastic bag

A forgetful experience
If not for the natural beauty of Genting Highlands area and the cool temperature, this stay would have been an experience I wish I didn’t have. I understand it’s a 3.5 star rated hotel but I did expect certain standards. Poor service from staff as I don’t feel as a guest. Carpark issues (tickets always get black listed if u park overnight). No proper brochures about hotel facilities or room services in the hotel room. Lack of toilet accessories and even when we request, it either came short of something or didn’t come at all. No make-up of room even when requested via phone call to the front desk. Food is so-so. This is expected since it’s an average rated hotel. But cleanliness is good. Front desk staff did not even mention about their facilities when we checked in. We have to figure out for ourselves that the facilities like gym, Swimming pool, etc. which are like at another building different from the hotel room building that we were assigned to. All in all, I will not recommend for people to stay here. There are a lot of improvements that are required before guests can feel welcomed in this hotel. Do enjoy the view though if you still want to stay here.
