Three flights of stairs was a bite of a challenge. The room was clean and odourless and I felt safe and comfortable. Slept well. Morning breakfast was good and a fair variety of items.

Great service! Great room!

This was a quick last minute stop to get a few hours sleep. The night attendant was so kind. We told her we were only there a few hours and she asked when we would be leaving. We said around 5am. She made sure coffee and breakfast was ready early so we could have something before we left since it typically starts at 6. Very much appreciated! Impressed with the updated room we stayed in. Clean and comfortable. Love that the room did not have carpet. Bathroom was very clean and beds were comfortable. Will stay here again when passing through towards Ottawa.

Price was right. Easy checkin. Not the fanciest place ever but served the purpose. Only complaint was the noise from the hallway, stairway and guests above us was irritating. Not very sound proof rooms. But all in all, okay experience.

Very nice rooms and comfortable bed. We were on the second floor and could hear someone walking or running above us for over an hour. Had a bit of hard time getting the TV to go. Otherwise very well priced for what we received.

I love staying here. It is so nice and clean, this is my favourite place to stay when in North Bay. The price is always very reasonable. Staff is very friendly. I will continue to stay here when I travel and I highly recommend the Super 8.

Clean, fairly updated room. Suited our purposes as a place to sleep for two nights at a reasonable price while visiting family in the area. The front desk only had our key valid for one night do we had to get it updated upon our return the first night as we couldn’t get back in the building.

Comfortable bed and good size for a room.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. Everything was good, but the breakfast was dried out, or gone. The last time it had been exceptional, so that was disappointing.

Front desk was incredibly rude at check in, there are no elevators, not a big deal as there are only three floors. The room very large but looked like it was used as an interrogation room, very uncomfortable. The furniture was very old and dirty....ya get what you pay for with this one!!

Overall pretty nice hotel, only downfall was we were on a family fishing trip and got put on the 3rd floor and they have no elevator so it was a real pain lugging everything up

The room is very nice, and the beds are very comfortable. Check in was fast and friendly. Wish they had more options with their vending machines, like a beverage option.

We always try to stay at this hotel. Prices are reasonable. Rooms are renovated and it has a good complimentary breakfast. It is also 5 minutes from Cascades casino.

Wonderful, clean, friendly and safe. Best of all, very afforable.

Pet friendly

We always stay here when we visit North Bay and we find it's the nicest affordable option . One thing to note is if you bring your pet they charge and extra $20 a night for the pet. They need to update the paperwork because it still says $15 a night.

Was impressed by the room and cleanliness. Bed wasn't that comfortable for me (too firm). Have a baby and opening front doors was difficult, especially at night when you have to be buzzed in. Should consider automatic doors.

The property was clean and quite. They serve an excellent hot breakfast. We will definitely stay here again.

I know there is always room to improve but we were very satisfied. Very important, It was very clean. There was a lot's of choice for breakfast, the area to eat is little but clean. The pillow was hard for my liking but beside that the bed was comfortable and the room had all we needed.

Good Hotel

The stay was very good. We used the online check-in which was super convenient. All the staff we encountered were friendly. The bathroom could use some upgrading but everything worked. There was no conditioner for my hair which kind of sucked but not a huge deal. We encountered some issues with super loud guests above us and we wouldn’t typically complain but it was excessive and the staff took care of it without issues. Overall a very good stay.

Great price and excellent place to stay. My only complaint wou.dbe the hot Breakfast was not hot. However they did offer take out containers so you could take it back to your room and heat it in your microwave.

Couldn’t find my pre paid reservation Took a long time to check in. I received 3 text messages and an email. But hotel could t find me in the system. I do not appreciate the service like that. I stay in a hotel 5-6 nights a week and it’s all about the service and the bed/ shower.

We were pleasantly surprised by the rooms cleanliness and “newness”. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was convenient for quick mornings. Would be great to have a high chair in the breakfast area

Hotel has no elevator. Initial room upgraded to first floor to accomodate. Nice large room. Clean. Very overwhelming smell of bleach.

Nice hotel

The front desk staff and breakfast was wonderful. Very welcoming staff and the breakfast was very ample and tasty. Our room was comfy and the laminate flooring was beautiful. The only complaint I have is that the baseboard edge was in the bathroom was very dirty. I actually cleaned it myself. It took away from the overall cleanliness of the bathroom.

Thin walls .. heard foot steps of oeople walking above and beside our room.

The staff that checked us in were very friendly and professional. The place was clean and spacious. The breakfast was delicious.

The bed was super comfy but the room was pretty worn out. The furniture was old and had a lot of damage. There was black mold around the windows. There were dribbles down the bathroom wall, which was gross but everything was dust free and the filter in the air conditioner was clean. I asked for a quiet room and was told the quiet rooms were on the 3rd floor but there was no elevator. Having a bad knee we took a room on the first floor. I could hear the person in the room above walking back and forth. Luckily I brought ear plugs. They serve a hot breakfast for free which bit some people couldn’t sit to eat as the dining space only had 5 tables. We slept good in the end and the girl at the desk was very nice but I wouldn’t stay again.

We booked for 6 adults, but the room had only 2 beds and a sofa bed that wasn’t even suitable for a single adult—it was meant for a child! I spoke to the reception, but the manager said we’d have to pay extra for a more suitable bed, which didn’t seem fair. It was difficult to sleep!

Very pleasant

Kids running around the top floors with no supervision from parents or the coaches on their trip to North Bay. Front desk did nothing after being called numerous times re noise in hallway from 8pm to 11pm

Everything was pretty great overall, except one detail- the noise. It wasn't guests being obnoxious or anything like that, yet my room was the door across the third floor stairwell and every time the door was used, my gosh was it loud. The door would slam shut a handful of times every hour and it would reverberate throughout my room quite aggressively, not allowing for a quiet stay, and waking me up often. I'm sorry to say that I did not leave rested.

It was located directly across from beach area on Lake Nippising and provided some beautiful scenery and great photo opportunities.

Very clean, very comfortable good hot breakfast,but the coffee wasn't to my liking. The only small negative was that it was difficult to adjust water temperature in the shower.

Stayed while on business. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Free parking on site. Pricing per night was reasonable. No elevator. Would stay again.

Not great location

Location was not the greatest. Dark surroundings. Off the main highways. Older building with no elevators or help to carry bags…..we are older.
