Despite the (limited) sea view, our suite and external seating area had no direct sun which was disappointing. The spa was disappointing with the Thalasso journey given a quick overview and then left on our own. One of the treatments taken was not really as described. Food at the buffet was fine at breakfast time, but in the evening was a bit of a scrum with food often lukewarm and reheated after pre-cooking. Check-in was quick and simple but basic, with no welcome after a long journey.

Sunrise Pearl is a go to hotel if you want comfort and nice service. Having stayed locally quite a few times over the past couple of years between villas and Sunrise Pearl we have been choosing Sunrise Pearl lately. The complex is always well maintained, staff are respectful and friendly and just overall you can’t go wrong with the hotel.

It’s a pleasant hotel with a nice beach. We would have like if there were more fresh fruits and home made type jams.

Property itself is beautiful, many ammenities. The pool area is perfect if you're traveling with kids or even just alone. The staff service could be better. You will likely feel like you're bothering them by asking for simple things.

The most prestigious in Protaras

The best option in Protaras. The hotel is stunning, full of swimming pools, 7 restaurants (included in the half board base). Excellent breakfast. The beach - the best in Cyprus. The staff is very helpful and happy to help and solve any problem. Plenty of free parking in the hotel parking lot.

Perfect location in middle of the best stretch of beach. Snorkeling right in front of the lifeguard tower. Also plenty of shops on the street. Dinners are amazing every night.

Not a 5 star. Rooms have moldy smell. Bathrooms are small. Plenty of other better options for half the price

Fantastic Stay at Sunrise Pearl Hotel & Spa

Fantastic hotel right on the best beaches in Cyprus. Friendly and very caring staff. They know how to treat their guests and thus made my stay her superb. The only reason I did not rate this 5 stars is for 2 things. 1) Air conditioner in room was not strong enough and 2) bath tub was a bit difficult to enter. I would prefer more of a walk-in in bath.

Great staff and property. This was our second stay at the Sunrise Pearl…we highly recommend for families. We are a family of five. The one bedroom suite with pool was perfect for our stay. Very friendly staff! We were traveling from USA to Cyprus; 24 hours travel. It was great to be met with a friendly staff to get us settled. The day-to-day service was even better. We will be back to stay at this property!

Peter the luggage Porter made my stay as he remembered me from previous visits whereas the remainder of the staff didn’t/or couldn’t be bothered. Tbh that was the attitude from staff all round. A CBA attitude!

Nice spa but not a luxury hotel

The spa was lovely. And it was worth the money. But the hotel is supposed to be 5 stars and the service was very disappointing. The food at the restaurants is poor and the staff didn’t know how to explain the menu or what things were. They were very friendly but they lacked any training. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating but the food and service are lacking. There are other hotels in the area that have much better service and food.

Best holiday ever, best view and breakfast ever.

Fantastic hotel. Amazing breakfast. Excellent view and staff service. The location is beyond expectations. We should have stayed for full board is the only regret as the food in the nearby restaurant is not good. It is worth every penny. Very relaxing atmosphere.

2 meter from the beach

The hotel is 2 meter from the beach and 10 meters from the sea one the the best beaches in Cyprus. The staff are very professional and polite especially Vera at the reception and Mirela at the poolbar and the guy at the beach towel. The condition of the room are good but i believe they need a renovation.

Great all round trip. Only slight annoyance was that because we weren't half board we couldn't book the restaurants in the evening

Perfect Family Vacation

Stayed for 3 nights with our to kids (4.5 and 3 years old), and it was amazing. We stayed at the sea view junior suite, and it was just like the pictures. Very spacious and clean. The complementary first round for the entire minibar was a very nice bonus, as well as the chocolates given by the made daily. The food was great. Especially enjoyed breakfast and the dinner at Fishbone restaurant. We took half board. Pools and beach access are awesome. One thing we didn’t like about the hotel though was the way they manage the pools - make you decide the first time what would be your poolside location for the rest of your stay (and gives you the look of you later ask to change it), and the fact that you need to carry the pool towels with you to the room at the end of each day.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel, the location was very convenient, the room had a wonderful sea view but I didn’t like the soap dispensers because I like to have the shampoo, bath gel and soaps separate

Fantastic pool, great breakfast!

We loved our stay, in fact we extended our holiday by 3 days. All the staff are just amazing and couldn’t be more courteous. The hotel is spotless and in a perfect location.

Not 5 Star

Experience was ok. For the price i expected more luxury. The room was very small to that of the pictures. Cocktails were watery and not well made. Service was ok but not to a 5 Star Standard. Except reception. Coffees were cold especially Cappuccino when it finaly arrived. No snacks in the Lobby area when it rained. The Shops were nearby and strip. We were not impressed enough to go back.

Great location, fast service, beautiful pool/beach

Hotel is very nice, pool area and loungers with outdoor restaurant and bar is extremely nice, bed and room were very comfortable. Ocean view room was nice overlooking the pool. Room service was fast. Spa looked amazing but didn’t have time to use it. Next time!

Everything was excellent! Friendly and pleasant staff, clean, beautiful spaces, nice atmosphere, nice pool, restaurants, location and beach! Strongly recommended we loved it!

Almost no events in the hotel except half hour in the pool at the morning

This hotel provides a relaxing oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the Protaras strip. The amenities, food and location are excellent. The best aspect of our stay was the staff who were friendly, helpful and professional. Special thanks to Vera on reception. We look forward to our next stay here.

Good but room for improvement

Stayed in a garden villa with pool. Staff friendly in breakfast restaurant and reception, but the place overall was pretty average considering the amount we spent on the room. Bathroom lights x2 were out. One of the bathrooms had a bath with jacuzzi jets but black stuff came out of the jets! Couldn’t get the water to drain. Told the cleaners and they let the water out and left the bath with the black stuff in it! Not impressed. Food overall pretty good. Breakfast 7/10. The Greek restaurant was great. Asian small portions but ok.

Another return visit yet not as good as before

This was another return visit yet not as good as before for a few reasons. Sure there are lots of good points for the hotel however, sad to say, the few negative ones outweighed this on this occasion. Biggest negative to me was the poor levels of service received from the miserable staff. They are so glum, with the exception of a few. Also attentiveness wasn't a strong point. The lunch restaurant Mistral was ok once ordering food and drink, however only one waiter is allowed to take your order due to having the only tablet to order to! Waiters would sheepishly say, when we ordered a drink before choosing our food, that sorry we cannot do that as we do not have the tablet! As for the grumpy chap in the waistcoat (Gorgios l Think) he was just totally miserable. I seem to remember him as the breakfast manager. Perhaps he needs tome back and smile more! The half board dine around option is ok, however once again, you have the same daytime hotel staff serving at night times. This felt a miserable too as you feel that they really didn't want to be there! Their Greek restaurant, KYKLOS MEZEDOPOLEIO, forget totally! What a waste of time!! There are many many many better greek restaurants nearby with good food and friendly staff When I first visited it was a true five star feel Now those stars seem to be losing their brightness and fading away! I'd say look around and perhaps choose a good four star nearby with similar size rooms for much cheaper yet similar quality.

Not quite perfect, but pretty close!

Hotel was extremely well located. Room was cleaned to a very high standard and staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The only real downside and realize that this is not of major importance to everyone, the WiFi reception was appalling! You got kicked out literally every few minutes! That aside, would be happy to stay again!

Beautiful place to stay and it was so relaxing but the staff and food was excellent. First class all the way.

Had confirmed Prepaid via Expedia reservations for two weekend nights They admitted they had my reservations But no room ( they overbooked) They offered me a superior room with A sea view at the " cheaper" next door Sunrise beach and a 30 euro discount per Day. I did tell them that this practice is unacceptable and that Expedia should be Warning people of this practice I believe they cater more to package groups And therefore they don't care

Top quality hotel

Couldn't really fault the hotel, extremely well finished, clean, nice design touches. Staff are warm and friendly and showed lots of attention to us. The range of restaurants available under half / full board is impressive, in one week you could eat in a different one each night. Allocated sun loungers initially seemed a bit over the top organization, but actually it worked well and still had flexibility if you wanted to move location.

Great location, excellent hotel

This hotel was the perfect place for rest and relaxation. The food was well prepared and always fresh. The spa was an opportunity to relax and recharge.

Even though some old staff is still Around the new staff does not meet the enthusiastic, energetic staff that was once there. Rooms are not as thoroughly cleaned as before (we’ve been coming since the hotel first opened) and service has gone down

Wir waren in der Nachsaison in der ersten November Woche dort (sehr empfehlenswert). Das Hotel hat im Poolbereich klar getrennte Pools für Kinder und Erwachsene. Zu empfehlen sind die Zimmer Richtung Meerseite, da sich im Bereich der Straßenanbindung oberhalb des Hotels viele Bars und Clubs befinden, die sich gegenseitig mit lauter Musik Konkurrenz machen (wurde ab 01.11. deutlich ruhiger, da dann viele der Clubs schliessen). Der Ort ist eine Party-Hochburg, muss man wissen und mögen. Wir hatten ein ruhig gelegenes Zimmer zu erwähnter Meerseite. Das Zimmer war sauber, der Service sehr aufmerksam und immer zu einem Gespräch bereit. Die Weinempfehlungen der Chef-Kellnerin immer treffend und die Küche (Buffet) gut. Es besteht die Möglichkeit in einem der verbundenen Hotels der Gruppe (alle fussläufig wenige Meter entfernt) zu Essen. Wir hatten dies an zwei Abenden genutzt. Das "Griechische" Lokal hat leider wenig Charme und auch das Essen war nicht besonders. Das Hotel ist aber in jedem Fall empfehlenswert.

Dejligt hotel med flinkt personale.

Fantastisk beliggende hotel. Med store pools og direkte til havet. Gode store værelser. Rigtig god ordning med solsenge der bliver tildelt, så man har de samme i hele ferien (det kunne alle andre hoteller lære af). Fine restauranter både på hotellet og rundt om i byen. Morgenmandsbuffetten var god og udvalget stort, med mulighed for omelet, spejlæg mv. Virkeligt serviceminded personale, som vi oplevede som meget imødekommende. Flot havudsigt fra værelserne. Ja vi var bare meget tilfredse.
