This hotel was perfect for our needs, room modern and clean, good food choices and friendly staff, would definitely recommend

Overall the staff were friendly... the cleaners should be topping up toilet rolls on a daily basis though there should be atleast 2 per day in the bathroom. As in they should be two in the bathroom overall. And top up if needed. I felt that the main reception and common area should be cleaned before 7am not furing as breakfast is served then and some people come and eat at this time. Otherwise overall was good sometimes though the waterpark would close 30-40 mins early then the time. But overall good hotel maybe 3.5 star hotel would rate it. Entertainment though wasnt great quite repetitive with bingo every night .

Nice place to stay. Good food and a lot of water play areas.

There is everything for family

Great hotel and waterpark

I would split my review in to 2: Hotel and family room. Hotel - The staf, the service, the water park, the entertainment, the location and the outside area are all great and exceed my expectations. Family room (504) - The room was designed strange, the kids in a hall near the exit door with no sperated door to the rest of the room, the bathroom and toilet in the middle of the room with gray glass doors which not give real privacy and in the last part the parents hall. The metrics was not comfortable, the cleaning staff didn't come every day and the location of the room was behind the kitchen so deep frying smell was always in the air. To summerize: In total my family enjoyed the vacation and the hotel it could have been even better if the room was different.

sun palace staff from the front desk to the dining staff and the housekeeping staff were all great! staff worked very hard to provide guests a good experience. The property itself needs an upgrade and several repairs need to be made. The cost of the resort and the all-inclusive status make it work for all income levels and guests traveling with children. we enjoyed our holiday very much and utilized the bus stop right across the street from the resort to go into Rhodes town and to go to Lindo's. my husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary during our stay as well as both of our birthday's. We enjoyed the island very much. The front desk staff had a bottle of wine and fruit in our room for our 25th wedding anniversary which was a very nice touch.

Mixed thoughts on this Hotel - Some great aspects , some awful ! The Good The waterslides and waterslide restaurant Great variety of slides that kept all of us happy Although the food was quite similar day to day in the waterslide restaurant, it was nice salads and chicken/skewers plus there is a beer tap to help yourself The kids used to go off and look after themselves The main pool is also good although the sun loungers are in varying states of brokenness ! The animation team are excellent, entertainment was great and the fact the kids wanted to go each night plus werent on their devices said alot ! The bad ! The main restaurant for dinner and lunch is awful , you arent allowed to sit outside so it becomes so noisy that you cant hear across the table, there is a constant clatter of plates and cutlery from the staff cleaning away The food isnt bad but very bland in terms of flavor You can sit outside for breakfast which is great. After the first day we ate dinner out and lunch at the waterslide restaurant or went out The ala carte greek restaurant is so bad ! limited menu, fish dish that a cat would refuse, no choice for the kids to try greek food, just pizza, nuggets and chips The AI spirits are awful as well - The wine is tolerable ! The rooms are not cleaned properly, all they do is a bit of a mop and change towels/sheets - I had to ask 4 times before the shower gel / soap was refilled in the room The mattress is very old and you can feel the springs !

Overall satisfaction is medium, the room that we received was very small for 4 persons, the food wasn’t variable . For kids everything was ok. The variety of alcohol is very poor and from local production . The pools are very good as well water park.

Very kind and helpful staff. Quite an old room, full of ants and insects everywhere. The cleanliness is not at a high level at all. The water park was excellent. Regarding the dining room, we didn't eat there but there was a large selection

It is more like 3 star hotel. Quite poor and low quality. Rooms are dated and small. The food is not really good. Thin doors so you can hear everything from the hall even talking. The only nice part is the water park. If you don’t care about everything else it may be good for you. Not good for couples but mainly for families with small kids. It was quite cheap so it is good value. Dont expect too much quality.

You can hear everyone in the room next to you , in the corridor familes are shouting, always dirty, rooms are old and amenities are old. Only good is the staff, they are super nice

My family of 5 (kids are tweens) enjoyed the amenities of the property. The water park, the pools & the activities offered many things to keep us all busy and happy. The buffet was good with typical buffet food. Lots of European tourists, we were the only Americans and I was surprised how few Greeks were there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We took a bus to Lindos and it was a beautiful beach and a wonderful experience- I definitely recommend going there. Overall the resort felt like we were more at a resort in Mexico than Greece- which isn’t a bad thing just not a very Greek experience for guests that are Greek/American.

A Week of Normality

This was the eleventh time I have been to Sun Palace Hotel. Of course there are changes but nothing detracted from our enjoyment. The receptionist informed us that the staff wear masks so we don’t have to so we felt safe but not restricted. Another amazing stay and we can’t wait to return next year.

Great hotel, with a great water park and ideal location. Breakfast & Lunch was good but evening means we’re hit & miss. Also queuing was a bit of a nightmare but this was primarily down to COVID-19 restrictions. The only down side was the all inclusive drinks. The beer and spirits weren’t up to standard so must people would pop to the local shop and buy their own. Apart from that, all of the staff we’re excellent and I would definitely visit again.

Nice hotel a few min walking from the center

The most disappointing thing that we had to pay to the water park there . The food is ok ! U will alwayz find what to eat The animation team is great I can give this hotel 3 out of 5

most bad stay i ever had

This is was very bad hotel. Food - very poor repetative same brackfast during all the week with very lomited choises.. Lunch- very very poor and not really not teasty. Dinner - discustind and very limited assortiment. Drinks - local drinks -550 water ... very bad. Water park - we required to pay 60 euro per day on top of what was already payed. We are family wuth w kids (4 and 7). Its most then ubexpexted and very bad feeling when you know that you are coming to all inclusive hotel with very clear note that you already pay for all.. and you find out that entertaiment for your kids (the main reason why you came to this Hotel) not including!!!! And hotel manager was very agressive and didnt suggest any discount or any comromiss... very very very .... disupointing. Really. Not suggest to the families to come for holiday to this very bad hotel!!!!!!

God, men hotellet bærer præg af slid

Opholdet var udmærket. Hotellet var fint, men var præg af manglende vedligehold og var derfor at betragte som slidt. Personalet var flinke. Maden i restauranten var fin, udvalget var ikke stort, men der var altid noget, man kunne lide. Snackbaren/poolbaren var derimod god, der var altid 2-3 retter man kunne vælge mellem.

Yksi päivä vesipuistossa

Perhehuone oli todella tilava ka siisti. Parveke kiersi koko kulmahuoneiston. Vastaanoton palvelu oli todella ystävällistä. Ravintolassa oli melkoinen vilske mutta erityisen lapsiystävällinen, lisäksi juomaa ja välipalaa oli runsaasti tarjolla. Vesipuistossa oli tarkat vahdit, eikä ruuhkaa. Lasten kanssa hyvä paikka.

Bon séjour avec les enfants dans le parc aquatique et les animations pour les soir ( cependant pas très variées quand on reste plus d’une semaine ). Hôtel très bien situé à 5 min de la plage et du centre ville Piscine commune très sale et verte . Extérieur sale du au manque de civisme de certaines personnes qui laissent leur gobelet en plastique ou autres déchets par terre . Chambre assez spacieuse , la literie est à revoir . Matelas éventré qui s’affaissait et drap beaucoup trop court . Pour le ménage la salle de bain n’a jamais été nettoyé en 11j . Uniquement lit refait et un coup de serpillière au sol

Nous avons passé 2 semaines dans cet établissement avec nos deux enfants. Franchement ils ont plein de choses à revoir, d’abord leurs accueil qui est moyen, le buffet n’est pas très varié et souvent nourriture pas très chaude. Nous avons testé les deux restaurants à thème de l’hôtel (Grec et mexicain) mexicain à fuir service lamentable et personnel désagréable tout est posé sur la table en même temps entrée, plat et limite le dessert. Les enfants ont appréciés manger un plat et nous avons donc demandé si nous pouvions ravoir la même chose. D’abord une serveuse nous dit « ce n’est pas possible de suite mais plus tard » et nous demandons donc à une autres serveuses qui nous indiquent que le nombre de plats et compter suivant le nombre de réservation. D’un côté je le comprend mais de l’autre être honnête dès le début serait plus adapté ! Ils feraient mieux de demander se que les personnes désirent manger sur le menu afin d’éviter le gaspillage. Pour le resto grec c’est un peu mieux mais trop de gaspillage et tout est posé sur la table en même temps également. Nous avons également testé le Burger house à midi, burger pas trop mauvais mais le service est lamentable car oui là c’est service à table et nous redemandons des boissons nous les attendons toujours. Au restaurant principal, ils sont toujours en manque de verres en verre car merci les verres en plastique mais bonjour l’écologie, manques d’assiettes ont doit toujours courir après afin de pourvoir aller se servir!

Kivat altaat, vaikka vesi oli kylmää näin lokakuulla. Huone ihan kiva ja perussiisti. Joka päivä löytyi jotain hyvää syötävää ravintoloista. Isoin miinus ruoissa oli se, että usein ne eivät olleet kuumia. Hinta-laatusuhde kohtaa. Edullista perhelomailua.

Kiva paikka, mutta hieman epäsiistiä paikoin.

Sängyt korjausta vailla, roskia joita kukaan ei kerännyt miljööstä/puutarhasta oli koko viikkoon ja huoneet siivottiin huonosti. Muuten miellyttävä paikka ja hyvät ruoat.

Onnistunut valinta perheen lomapaikaksi (lapset 9-15v). Siisti parvekkeellinen perhehuone jääkaapilla. Hyvät allasalueet ja ilmainen vesipuisto, josta sai allaspyyhkeet. Koko ajan ruokaa ja juomaa tarjolla. Useampi erilainen ravintola. Erikoisruokavaliot huomioitu hyvin. Allergeenit merkitty, gluteenitonta leipää, kakkua, muroja, Margarita-pitsaa, nuudeleita ja hampurilaisia sai pyytämällä. Oluet ja viinit sai itse ottaa hanasta. Baarista cocktaileja (myös lapsille) Mukavaa ohjelmaa. Hotellilla myös oma kauppa. Ilmainen pysäköinti. Ranta lähellä. Lämmintä. Ihan loistava loma! Huonesiivous ois voinu olla hiukan parempikin.

Sehr tolles Hotel mit all inclusive Leistung, bietet echt sehr viele Speisen an ob typisch griechisch oder auch international dazu bekommt man auch zwei Gutscheine für einen griechischen Abend und einen mexikanischen Abend, sehr toll nur für und ist das einfach viel zu viel Essen gewesen, sehr zentral shoppen und auch der Strand ist super schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Personal ist sehr nett und bemüht einen tollen Urlaub zu gewährleisten. Das einzige Problem sind die anderen Urlauber die denken sie hauen alles auf Teller rauf beißen einmal ab und schmeißen es weg das war für uns sehr traurig, aber in großen und ganzen ein tolles Hotel

Olimme muutaman yön ja onneksi jatkoimme matkaa muualle. Erittäin epäsiistiä, ruoka välttävää, huoneet kulahtaneet, likaista. Sänky todella huono. Ihan max 3 tähden hotelli. Lapsille vesipuisto oli mukava. Muuta hyvää en tästä hotellista löydä.

Perheloma Sun Palacessa

Sopiva paikka lomalle kolmen lapsen kanssa syyslomalla. All inclusive tarjoilu hyvä. Vesipuisto mukava ja myös normi allasalue oli hyvä. Järjestettyä ohjelmaa oli mukava seurata iltaisin ja viihdyttäjät järjestivät päivittäin aktiviteetteja. Hotellihuoneet eivät mitään luksustasoa, mutta hyvä hinta-laatusuhde ja ajoivat asiansa. Kannattaa vuokrata auto ennakkoon koko loman ajaksi niin ei ole jumissa hotellilla.

Sijainti toimi hyvin. Rannalle parin minuutin kävely ja keskustaan vähän enemmän. Kaikki palvelut toimivat ja lokakuun alussa väkeä oli sopivasti. Retket ja ostokset hoitui kustannustekokkaasti naapurissa olevasta Sofiaksesta

Buffet under middel (flere blev også syge pga hygiejne) Badeland trænger til renovering, bunden i flere bassiner er glatte og vi var vidne til 5(!) der faldt og kom til skade de første to dage. Men beliggenhed og personale er søde og vi havde en god familie ferie på trods af maveonde, og med forsigtighed i badelandet.

Hyvä hotelli. Huone siivottiin päivittäin. Lapset viihtyivät vesipuistossa. Iltaohjelma olisi voinut olla monipuolisempaa. Kertakäyttö mukit voisi päivittää uudelleen käytettäviin kovamuovi mukeihin.

Hintaan sisältyvä vesipuisto todella hyvä, samoin muut allasalueet. Huoneessa sängyt todella kovat ja nitisevät. All inclusive oli kattava, vaikkakin vaihtelevuutta olisi voinut olla enemmänkin ja lisäksi saimme vatsataudin (tod näk ruoasta).

+ Hinta / laatusuhde, ruoka oli hyvää, vesipuisto lapsille. - Huono äänieristys, liian meluisaa, musiikia soitettiin aivan liian kovalla volyymillä

een fantastische vakantie in sun palace

het was een fantastische vakantie ,ze hebben weer in de watte gelegd , en nu er grote veranderingen zijn gedaan deze winter is het nog heel veel verbeterd ,blij weer terug in sun palace te zijn geweest , zeker nog is terug in oktober

Tutto perfetto

Descrivere in poche parole tutte le piccole cose che mi sono piaciute di questo hotel è impossibile, ma farò del mio meglio. È una struttura molto grande e non lussuosa, prevalentemente frequentata da Inglesi e Scozzesi...ma perfetta per le famiglie. I divertimenti non mancano sia per il parco acquatico sia per l'animazione che è favolosa...Le piscine sono molto grandi e attrezzate, e il mare è vicinissimo...per la parte della ristorazione non posso dire che si mangia come in italia, ma si mangia discretamente bene. Il menù è molto vario e praticamente mangi no stop dalle 7.00 alle 23.00. La cosa che mi ha stupita è che ci sono macchinette per le bibite e per il caffè, cappuccino, cioccolate ecc...in tutte le aree comuni...Le camere sono pulite, spaziose e divise in zona adulti e zona bambini. Nel complesso è un villaggio curato dove si è pesato a tutto il necessario perchè le famiglie si trovino a suo agio con tutti i confort immaginabili...non vedo l' ora di tornarci.

Der Aufenthalt im Sun Palace war nicht wirklich überragend. Das Essen im Hotel war ungeniessbar. Das erste Zimmer das wir bekommen haben entsprach gar nicht dem was wir eigentlich reserviert hatten, am zweiten Tag konnten wir dann in ein anderes Zimmer welches dann etwas angenehmer war. Das Wireless im Hotel war absolut unbrauchbar vollkommen überlastet, man konnte nicht mal seine Mails kurz checken. Das Hotel ist überfüllt von Engländern! Also wir werden definitiv nicht mehr in dieses Hotel gehen. Alles insgesamt war nicht wirklich ein sehr gutes Hotel.

Qui sommes nous : un couple de 48 ans avec 2 ados de 14 et 17 ans. Si vous aimez : • Les mauvaises surprises : Le SUN PLASH, Attention si vous ne passez pas par un tour opérateur, vous devrez vous acquitter de 40€ par personne par semaine pour en profiter. Exagéré non ?! Et là vous pourrez avoir des serviettes pour la piscine de l hôtel, sinon, il faudra en acheter. • L’ambiance camping à l’hôtel, • Etre entouré d’étrangers bruyants et pas du tout respectueux : du bruit dans les couloirs de 22h à 2h du matin, des enfants qui jouent au ballon à minuit dans le couloir • Les soirées bingo, et oui … • Une insonorisation dans les chambres très mauvaise, ou alors prenez des boules quiez. Pas très glamour ni confortable mais bon • Ne pas avoir d’animation la journée, alors qu’elles sont prévues, • Le ping pong, attention une seule table toute cabossée où à partir de 18h on enlève le filet et les raquettes. Oup’s, trop tard • Un cours de tennis sans filet • Les glaces (vraiment pas bonnes) et les cocktails rallongés donc sans goût. • Le buffet moyen surtout le midi • Un hôtel assez viellot. Nos ados : 14 et 17 ans se sont pas mal ennuyés. Pas d animations, pas d autres ados, pas de français

Faliraki 2015

Vi hade en härlig vecka från 30 sept till 7 okt. Hotellet är bra, Maten bra och varierad, de dagar vi åt där. Den helt ok Vattenparken som är på hotellområdet, fick man betala separat per dag och Person för. Vi tyckte en dag där räckte för oss, så det blev inte någon stor kostnad. Eloge till städpersonalen som alltid lämnade rummet fläckfritt. Hotellet ligger i utkanten av Faliraki, men det är bara ca 15 min promenad till Centrum, och det finns massor med små butiker och matställen efter vägen.

Felt like home with the warm staff at the hotel

The only reason to have chosen this hotel among others was the aquapark that was announced. Unfortunately this was not included and had to pay extra for enjoying it. The staff at the hotel was really the best of my staying. The Internet connection was only good at the reception. The food was really good.
