Dirty Hotel
The room Smelled bad and the elevators were dirty that walls
Okay for the price.
So for the price, it really wasn't a bad stay. It was odd...some things were very nice, like the counter tops in the bathroom but some were not so nice, like the beat up full-size refrigerator in the room. It was maybe like they were renovating one thing at a time? But the bed was comfortable and it was next door to my conference so I could walk. It was an okay stay for the price.
Worst Hotel in Texas
Filthy and I mean filthy. It starts in the lobby, the luggage cart carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned since they built the Hotel. The mirrors inside the elevator were disgusting. Now for the room, it probably was nice at some point in time, but after years of neglect and failure to maintain you are left with a nasty room that you have to share with the cockroaches, the shower looked as if it had never been cleaned. Do not stay at this place.
The first room we were given smelled heavily of smoke. I understand that they have a no smoking policy, but the smell was very noticable. The second room smelled of mildew/mold. This was better for me, but my friend really struggled with it. Most things were otherwise clean. The amenities, like a fridge were good. The bed was not comfortable and only had three pillows.
Cheap. Not cheerful.
Best thing about the hotel was the staff - reception and housekeeping were very friendly. The room was reasonably comfortable but in pretty poor condition, curtains were ripped and the balcony door would not close properly. The bedsheets and towels had yellow stains all over them and we found roaches in the bathroom. If you can afford to go anywhere else, I recommend that you do.
There were roaches in the room
Motel 6
It was ok coming to the hotel. Once you get upto the room it has a bad odor. You get in the room the same way. My first room the sheets were nasty. Move to another room. On my last night there roaches start coming out they need to have the whole hotel sprayed each month to get rid of the roaches and the idor that the floor has. In the restroom part of the wood was missing not sure what happen inside that room, but repair was made in there. Im sure you got to see it you come and clean it so you should have had it repair as soon as you new it.
Pest problem needs to be taken care of. We found several roaches in our room
We found small spiders in the room. The smelling was too strong, I believe is the humidity. The cleaning service just came and spray the room.
Terrible and dirty
Terrible. The room smells ugly due to very old carpet. The fridge had a cheeseburger from previous guest. Small roaches in the bathroom. I booked for 2 nights but I stayed only for 1 night. I walked away to another hotel for similar price but CLEAN.
There is roaches all over the room
The lady at the front desk was very nice. The rooms are really worn down looking and we saw multiple cockroaches in our room. The parking area felt a little sketchy too.
No power is my problem
None of the outlets worked in our room. The next mor i g on check out i informed the front desk and he said i should of just found the breaker and flip the switch.
This place was not clean. Odd smell in the reception area, mold in the bathroom, bathroom door did not shut, AC was cool, not cold. I could hear the tv in the room on the other side of the wall. All together, I'd never stay here again
Not the best
Staff was not extremely friendly, while the room was clean there was definitely some repairs needed to the ceilings and walls, and our room had fleas in it...i guess that come with a pet friendly place though.
Love love love the staff. 4 different staff members each one knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you.
Management was rude - manager cursed me during call to inform them I would be late checking in.
Convenient. Next to the main road; to a trail, which allowed to do my walking
Property is very dated but clean and staff was nice.
The room smelled like pee And there were hair in the sink by previous users You have to ask upfront for restroom essential upfront… There was a pair of socks from previous owners…
Paid for a cheap place in Dallas and got exactly what I paid for. Would not recommend
Loved the price, but naturally lower cost comes with poor quality. There were two cockroaches in our room and the sheets were itchy as soon as we laid down. Got breakfast from Denny’s across the street, so that was an upside of the stay.
Caught two little cockroaches in the bathroom. Rainwater seeped into the room and the carpet got soaked.
Fine, if you're used to roughing it
If your standards aren't too high, this place is adequate. Smelled of decades of smoke despite supposedly being nonsmoking, maintenance issues everywhere, coffee maker broken, one cockroach observed. But it genuinely seems like the staff are doing their best to keep it clean, and I must admit I slept long and well.
DO NOT STAY HERE! There were cockroaches in the bathroom and LITERAL broken glass under the mattress between the mattress and box spring. Then they ACTUALLY CHARGED US!!! Disputing with my credit card and calling the health board.
The first room that I had in this building, literally smelled like there was a dead body in there, and I also found a giant dead roach on the floor. The staff, however, was very nice and understanding, and gave me another room, which was better to a certain extent. The closet door wouldn’t stay shut and there were a few stains on the sheets. The energy in that building was definitely off even my dogs felt it.
Our room had roaches. For the price of the rooms it’s hard to expect much but definitely not pleasant to be killing roaches when you’re there for a cheerleading competition. There’s a lot of folks loitering around the property so it does make it feel a little uncomfortable.
Absolutely disgusting. I am so upset and disappointed, I don't even know where to begin. FIRST I will absolutely point out, the pictures listed on Expedia of the rooms, that is NOT the actual rooms. Im unsure if stock photos were used, or where they got them, but they are false advertised. SECOND, the odor I met at the door made me feel so sick, they need to chill out on the bleach/fabuloso. THIRD...Let me start by saying never in my life have I ever been asked if I want to see a room before staying. That question gave me HUGE red flag, so of course since Im being asked Im terrified, but also very curious as to why they are asking. So I confirm I want to see the room. To cut to the end, I was shown 3 different rooms (hotel staff had hopes I would change my mind) due to the fact that every room was SO DIRTY, and there were ROACHES EVERYWHERE. They scattered when I opened the door; Im talking on the walls, the floor, bathroom...after a late flight and checking in at 10/11pm to be met with that.... You could not pay me to stay there. Thank god I had selected pay at property on Expedia. My full refund was not going to be an issue. Do not stay here. Its not safe, and it is unclean.
Absolutely disgusting. Smells like someone urinated in the hallway, our bed still had handprints on the headboard, and the room was overall just gross. Not worth the money you save to stay here
Ownership at this property has a tough gig as they are located close to a major city center. They have ABSOLUTELY no clue what the HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY infers. Rude. Hateful. Business Policies that make no sense - unless they truly want nothing more than bottom end clientele. Not a good look for the Corporate Name.
Nasty
Air conditioner didn’t work Gave us dirty towels and didn’t give us new ones when asked BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS
DON’T STAY HERE
This was the worst place to stay at. But u get what u pay for. The sheets were dirty with hair and it was itchy. So many cockroaches. Woke up to some small bites on my body. Left the next day!
I noticed small black bugs running around in the bathroom and on the walls I kept my clothes in my bags I never took them out furniture is real out dated li looked like it was bought at a yard sale what is a full refrigerator doing in the room.
The property had what looked like blood on the door of our room. We found a napkin of some kind under the sheets the next morning. We didn't have an napkins or food in the room. The room was extremely cold. I understand Texas doesn't normally get cold but a hotel should be prepared for these temperatures. We turned the heat up to 80° and it never reached that temperature. It's like the furnace couldn't keep up but it was warm in the hallway and entryway.
Stains on the linens, did not seem like the room had been dusted/cleaned well between guests. Bugs inside of the room.
Pretty good room for a fairly low price
My room was pretty good for a fairly low price. However, I encountered a few bugs in my room. Other than that, I enjoyed the amenities and the close proximity to the American Airlines Center for my business and leisure trip.
I stepped on a live mouse. Then took at least 20 minutes to get someone up to my room. They didn't have another one available. Had to sleep with all my belongings on the bed. Disgusting!
Was good
Toiletries were not stocked, sheets look as though they may have been reused
Room smelled
The hotel was close to the conference we attended. It was a lot cheaper and the room was nice.
Roaches. I could go on and on, but, ya know... ROACHES. Three of us booked rooms and two of us had roach problems. The third person who didn't have a roach problem ended up having to switch rooms because the electrical had gone out. On top of that, they have linens in rotation that should have been retired long ago due to stains and tears, the hallways smelled like wet dog, and between the inexplicable full size fridge and jet engine of an air conditioner, the noise made it hard to get any sleep. I've stayed at plenty of Motel 6 chains, but this was the worst hands down. But despite the property conditions, I will say the staff was very nice and tried to be accommodating as possible.
Would I stay at this hotel again? NO.
Check-in/out hosts were friendly and efficient. 1. Beds are too high and it was difficult getting into bed. 2. Only half a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. It was not replaced nor other rolls added. 3. Room was not cleaned, beds made, trash emptied during my two-night stay. 4. Fight, very loud argument (loaded with curse words) in the hallway during the middle of the night. 5. Towels are on the small size and were not replaced. 6. No complimentary shampoo or conditioner. When I travel, which is not often, the hotel usually has shampoo and conditioner. Therefore, I did not pack any. 7. Too many homeless people in the area for me to feel safe. Having the hosts behind a glass and very high counter also gives the impression that the hotel is not safe. 8. I am 5' tall and the counter is so high I could not reach to register. The host had to come out of his cage to bring the computer part to sign.
Lots of bugs and random ants. Some crazy guy was knocking on the door at midnight and 5am. Strange people hanging out in the parking lot. Would not stay there again.
Facility was clean and the staff were super friendly
you have to be a rocket scientist to figure out how the tv worked, yet the staff had no idea either. wasn’t able to see anything in the tv i wanted to. tried three times to ask staff how to work the tv but they never came to the room. three times!
Staff attempted and kept insisting to change my booking from non-smoking to smoking. Facility was gonna charge me extra for non-smoking room $20/per stay. Room did not come with microwave for convenience also, they are construction in from of the area building leaving noise and lack-of parking spaces.
