Bad experience

Very bad attitude from front desk. Food is not of good quality. No choices. Wifi is not free and is expensive. Hotel should only be 3 stars.

DO NOT BOOK!!! This hotel’s staff was a mess, Rania from the reception area tried to steal from us. We had booked a room with a pool view and she requested 30 eauros for the upgrade! Believe it or not you have to pay 15 euros to have access to the wifi. We paid in egyptian money and she didnt give us the change back. When we got to the room she only gave us one key because the replacement keys are 5 euros to replaced . The room was hot at nights !!! Stay away from this hotel ! Such a bad experience!!!!!! When you are in vacation you dont want to be worring about thiefs jn the hotel !!!

I've had three wonderful nights there. Everything was maintained in the best way. The food is great, the service and cleanliness are excellent. It's a great destination for a break.

I can’t say enough about how clean the resort is and how professional and friendly the staff is! From the second I walked in, checking in, the restaurants, pools, spa area, beach, rooms even the lobby area are spotless. Every single staff member from management to house keeping is beyond nice, understanding and was tasked to make my stay extremely satisfying. I highly recommend the resort and can’t wait to go back and visit again.

The hotel is not quite modern but well maintained. Check in and checkout was a breeze. Just a couple of minutes. staff were friendly.

Few positives but it was ok

The hotel reception is nothing special, neither is the restaurant or food but for a short stay it was good enough. A number of staff were miserable and unhelpful and pool bar staff either hopeless or more interested in their phones. The resort is huge and we weren’t given a map so that was a bit useless as we had to work out where everything was in the dark! The room we got had a lovely terrace. The room itself was large and clean and comfortable. The pool area sun loungers were nearly all reserved with towels around 7:15am and, annoyingly, the areas all had sand. My son happily played in a quiet area pool and in the wave pool. The guy whose job it was to smooth the sand at the end of the day with a roller lacked care as he happily bashed into my lounger three time’s without an apology. Food quality was negligible although quite a selection. Soft drinks/juices were of a glow in the dark colour and unpalatable. We ordered pizzas at the beach bar as part of the all-inclusive package but these were tasteless. Would I return? Probably not

Clean room, food was good and friendly staff

I didn't enjoy my staying there at all and don't recommend it to anyone , the rooms aren't clean , staff isn't friendly at all , room service is the worst , refused to change the towels we used saying it didn't have any smell it is only wet and it will dry on its own

Food in this place is not to my liking it is very low quality. Even breakfast which is usually OK at most places in this place they use oil to cook fry eggs and omlet's they don't know butter

They have 2 kinds of discriminations: against Egyptian, and against Muslims. They don’t allow lots of services to the Egyptians like late breakfast or dinner, and they allow foreigners only. If you speak Egyptian Arabic, they will treat you badly. They will start with providing a bad room, and prevent lots of services from you. I booked my hotel from Canada and paid in US dollars. I gave them a Canadian passport. Even though, they treated me as a second class person. They prevent Muslims women who are waring a muslim swimming suites from going some of the pool. On the other hand, they don’t have any issue if a non Muslim women to use the same pool even if they ware any dress not suitable for swimming. They don’t have any of these rules written to avoid being in trouble. They just tell you this is the rules and they force you to apply it. I will never go to this hotel again. Everyone supposed to stand against the discrimination and avoid go to this hotel till they change their roles of discriminating the Egyptian and the Muslims.

Was amazing stay

I was there for the second time, the first time was my wife and the second time was with my friends. The staff was really nice and friendly and also the animation team was very nice and we had much fun with them, the GM Mr. Gamal was really helpful and very professional guy and also the manager of the F&B. Finally the stay was great and I'll go there again

The staff were nice except for the reception they were not friendly. Food in the restaurant was good and has lots of verity. Food in the bars is not good enough, it is a left over of some items from the breakfast. Juice provided is artificial juice not natural one. There is a discrimination against the Muslim women as they prevent them from using some of the swimming pools. They don't accept Muslims swimming suites. They allaw the musim swimming suits in 2 swimming pools only. Nigh shows was good. The first hour is disignted for kids. العاملين فى الفندق كانويتعاملون بطريقه مناسبه ماعدا موظفى الاستقبال كانوا يتعاملون بطريقه جافه الاكل فى المطعم شهى و فيه تنوع فى الاطباق الاكل على البارات و حول حمامات السباحه غير متنوع و يبدوا انه ما تبقى من الافطار العصاءر مصنعه و لا يوجد عصاءر طبيعيه يوجد اطهاد ضد السيدات المسلمات فى حمامات السباحه حيث يمنع النزول بمايوه المحجبات فو بعض حمامات السباحه و يسمح لهم بالنزول فى ٢حمام سباحه فقط العروض الليليه ظريفه و يخصص الساعه الولى للاطفال

Not what we expected from such a brand

we were supposed to stay there for 7 days. We ended up checking out after 24 hours! Food is not good at all, hotel smells stinky and old, beach is very far from the receiption area and you will need a shuttle to get there, beach is not swimmable when the tide is out, rooms are old and not clean. We are Canadian and we have a family of four and we are used to travel to the Red Sea every year. This is by far our first time to have a bad experience in Hurghada. Don’t stay in that hotel to save money. There are much nicer hotels in Makadi area.

hotel is a health hazard !!! changed rooms 3 times but still filthy room checked out and booked another hotel. Then hotel conned me by telling me would get refund, now they claim i stayed the whole of original booking, I have over 20 photographs of this disgusting hotel that should be burnt to the ground.

Great facilities, food, and service

This is my first time at Stella Makadi Gardens and definitely not the last. The food is amazing, wide variety and great taste. Rooms are nice, pools are spacious and clean. The restaurant staff is very well trained. Check in and out were quick and easy, reception staff is very friendly and professional. Easy access to the beach is available. Overall it is a beautiful resort, highly recommended for a relaxing vacation.

Great for relaxing and diving

It's a lovely hotel. The grounds are superb and there are pools everywhere. The staff around the pools are friendly. The beach staff not so much. I recommend the piano diving school. Not the best but certainly better than some of the others in the area.

Hébergement correct, les restaurants sont plutôt bons contrairement à au restaurant principal. Le choix des boissons en all in exclusive n'est pas terrible pour un 5 étoiles de même que la nourriture en journée. quasiment rien à manger... pour un 5 étoile peu largement mieux faire.

Zu viele Menschen am Buffet. Schlechter Kaffee. Freundliche Mitarbeiter. Gepflegte Anlage.

Toller Service, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Gesamte Anlage sehr sauber, teilweise etwas renovierungsbedürftig. Aber gut gepflegt. Es gibt viele ruhige Pools, Bars und Terrassen. Am Rutschen und Animations-Pool wird es sehr laut - achtet auf ein Zimmer in den ruhigeren Bereichen des Hotels! ;) Anbindung an den privaten Strand vom Schwesterhotel mit Shuttle-Bus alle 10 Minuten mit all-incl. am Strand. Kleine Märkte, Kioske, Reiseveranstalter etc. sind direkt vor Ort. All inclusive Verpflegung ist mittelmäßig - aber hat insgesamt ein tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Achtung! Die im Hotel verfügbare "Klinik" / Arzt verlangt sehr hohe Preise (bar, ohne Quittung) für Medizin. Akzeptiert werden Reiseversicherungen - bitte bei der Abrechnung aufpassen!! Negativ: Es wird sehr viel Plastik und Styropor Geschirr, Becher, Besteck, Gläser, Boxen etc. verwendet. Die Anlage wird sehr sauber gehalten - aber insgesamt viel zu viel Müll verursacht.

Family friendly hotel

Great resort for travellers with kids. Friendly atmosphere and attentive staff. Somewhat older interior, furniture and buildings but it wasn’t a deal-breaker. Huge buffet with a wide selection of dishes for all meals. Nice heated pool and very sage and secure surroundings all over the place.

Personal sehr freundlich, tolle megagroße Familienzimmer (2 Schlafzimmer), sehr guter Fitnessraum, Essen sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Am Ende des Stegs tolles Korallenriff zum Schnorcheln.

Hôtel à éviter. Piège à touristes.

L 'hôtel Stella gardens est catastrophique, à éviter. A mon arrivée à 4 h du matin à la réception de l hôtel , AOUT 2018 .accueil glaciale, chambre pas disponible et pas prête. (Plus de 2h 30 de perdu ) Donc nous avons dormi dans une chambre pas nettoyer et sale. Nous étions très fatiguées. Draps et serviettes sale. Ménage laisse à désirer. Hôtel fréquenté par une population locale. Restaurant bondé à tous les services. Bruit infernal, parti commune de l hotel sale . Dispute à la réception. Séjour infernal. Ce n'est surtout pas un 5 étoiles ,comme vous le dite sur votre site. Je vous déconseille cette hôtel .

Väldigt härlig resa!

Väldigt bra vistelse, bra mat i buffén. Restaurangerna var lite sämre särskilt det kinesiska. Mycket pooler och bra service. Fick använda hela systerresorten med fler pooler, närheten till havet och restauranger. Ska ni åka på utflykt prata direkt med receptionen, där de är fasta priser.

rigtig dejlig hotel som er alle pengene værd

Var afsted i uge 7 med min forlovede og vi havde en fantastisk tur. Selve hotellet var rent og i rigtig god stand, vi havde et standart værelse med udsigt til pool område og det var ganske enkelt fantastisk, værelset havde alt hvad der forventes og kindsize sengen er meget komfortable, hvor vi fik god nat søvn. De ansatte er meget serviceminded og selvom deres engelsk ikke er alt for godt, så kunne man godt kommunikere med dem og de var altid behjælpelige. Deres buffet er virkelig godt, rigeligt med valgmuligheder og maden var altid friskt. det eneste negative vi har er at deres wifi ikke er alt for godt, og ofte slet ikke fungerede, dette kan dog ordnes ved at købe et taletids kort dernede til ingen penge. alt i alt var vi meget tilfredse og har i den grad planer om at vende tilbage igen.

Great new hotel which is super quiet

New facilities which means not that much people staying at the hotel and a brand new installation. Some parts of the hotel are still to be done (like the spa) but there is a sister facility at a 5min walk from your room wich is older, fully operationnal but with a lot more people and a beach. A lot of pools in the hotel but only one heated... supposidly because they were not that much people and it was way enough for the people present! Would recommend for anyone who wants a sun bath , quiet and with a nice view!
