Location location location

Staff was very friendly. Hotel was a bit run down but still a good deal for our family to have a two bedroom suite. Furniture was worn and stained but other than that room was clean. Breakfast was really good.

Good for the price

Definitely going to stay there again the next time we visit Amarillo!

Bed bugs likely exists here. The furniture looks like the pictures but its current condition doesn’t. I couldn’t sleep all night. Never again.

Bugs and break ins. Disgusting.

Got in super late. Put the kids to bed to then see not just one bug. But one roach and another that looked like a tick or a bed bug. Then all the dead bugs under the sink. I could not believe how gross. Clearly not cleaning the rooms properly. Can’t even sweep? Also found prior tenants sick in the closet so no ones looking anywhere for mess. Oh and we woke to that morning to our cars back glass being shattered. . And right outside the front doors. Just have really never had such a bad experience. Especially for $150/night…

Average experience. Good breakfast, pool closed for remodeling, coffee pot had broken lid, hide-a-bed with nothing to make it up with. Good hot water and nice shower. Broken picture off the wall leaned up against the wall. Probably try somewhere else next time.

we killed a dozen roaches in our room and found roach poop on the bedding. Disgusting, will never stay here again.

The walls had dirty marks everywhere. The mattress on the pull out sofa had a lot of stains that looked to be dog related. There wasn’t any bedding for the sofa bed in the room. Unsanitary.

Would not recommend

Very disappointed with our stay. We checked into the hotel in the late evening after a 9hr drive, unloaded our bags and were getting ready for bed when we discovered the fitted sheet had faint blood stains. We immediately contacted the front desk and spoke to the sales manager who provided us with a replacement sheets. Unfortunately when we went to replace the sheets we discovered that the pillow top cover also had what appeared to be a recent blood stain indicating that none of the bedding had been recently replaced. At that point it was quite late and we had already unpacked so we decided to just remove all of the old bedding including pillow cases and use the sheets we got from the front desk to sleep that evening which we were barely able to do after all that and to top it off the walls of the room were so thin that we could hear the couple in the next room. Also there was a large flood light right outside the bedroom window that came in through the top of the curtain lighting the room. The next day we called the front desk again speaking to the general manager who sent a maid to replace the bedding and clean the room. The maid further confirmed the blood stained pillow top and sheets as well as finding urine stains. Unbelievable! The maid gave the room a thorough cleaning and apologized for the issue even though it wasn't her floor. After that there was absolutely ZERO follow up by management nor any offer to compensate us for the terrible first night.

Great hotel.

The room was great and the hotel breakfast was also really good. The only problem we had was that the pool was being refurbished. If that is something you was looking forward to using, check and see about its status before booking. We will stay here again.

I liked the convenient location and the sitting area leading to the pool. A few of the staff were friendly; greeting us with a smile in the hallways as we passed. The floors were stained throughout the common areas and our suite. None of the soaps or toilet paper were refilled before our stay. The lemon water in the dining room was not refreshed during the time we were there. Our towels had different types of hairs stuck to them from previous guests. One of the bathtubs pooled and drained very slowly. Also trash sat outside of the elevator for at least a day on our floor.

Great Stay

Stopped here as a halfway point for a long road trip and the area is calm and clean. We had our dog and theres a deposit, but i assume that's for cleaning even though there was some stains on the carpet when we arrived to our room.

Check in and lobby all great --- lobby attractive and full of extra hospitality offerings on the day we arrived. Room large, love full for-real kitchen facilities. Beds very comfy.

I don’t have a single good thing to say about this property. I made the reservation because it was a suite with two queen beds and a sleeper sofa, which was intended to accommodate three friends traveling together. The sleeper sofa. OMG. The mattress was absolutely disgusting and the feet was higher than the head. I figured I’d just make the best of it since we were exhausted from traveling, but found out there was no bedding for the sleeper sofa. The lady at the front desk said she had “no access to housekeeping” supplies, yet offered only a sheet to cover the mattress and a pillow cover. Unacceptable. These mattresses need to be covered, if they were they wouldn’t be so nasty with obvious urine stains. I ended up sleeping on the top of the sofa and it was so broken down and uncomfortable, I wasn’t able to get more than a combined hour of sleep. The lady at check in was very rude and inconsiderate and offered no solution. She was too busy flirting with some man. Upon check out, I tried to express my irritation and was basically told “too bad”. The room was nasty, pubic hair and dust on the back of the bathroom door, dirty fingerprints and even a booger on the wall by thermostat. Sink was dirty. Only two towels available. Outside of all of that, the way I was treated for requesting appropriate bedding was completely unacceptable. Front desk staff at check in and check out were the most unprofessional and lazy rude staff I’ve ever experienced. Never again.

We checked in late night around 2am so first thing when we walked in the room and turned the lights on full of cockroach, had a nasty odor. It didn't look nothing like on the website 😕 😐 very disappointed. We canceled and left

The room had cockroaches in the sink by the burners and fridge also one of the beds was not even made right.

Stay Only if you Must.

Pretty uneventful. The facility is extremely tired for a Staybridge. Lots of dings and cracks in the wall, several horrendous carpet stains, filthy and worn cutlery, etc. We’ve stayed primarily at Staybridges throughout our travels around the US and generally speaking, Staybridges are outstanding and pristine. Unfortunately this one is in dire need of updating and cosmetic repairs.

Clean quite and comfortable. Bed was great and sheets where soft. Friendly staff.

Cochroaches at Staybridge Amarillo. Cockroaches at motel 6 Fayetteville. I literally used home defense max one I got home and washed all clothes twice! Left suitcases in garage after spraying them. We are type to check beds first for bed bugs. Told my kids to not put anything on the floor.

We got in late so the room was all we cared about. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Easy check in. Nice property. Felt safe.

Property is not kept up. Seems dirty and old. The pool is foggy and the hotel smells funny. Front desk staff is super friendly and kind.

Last Resort

Room was stuffy when we 1st arrived. Obvious water damage in bathroom. Carpet had a slight urine smell in the corner of the room by the phone. Pillows were good but honestly I didn’t even pull the sheets back since I was just passing through. Overall wasn’t comfortable. Eww!

Ok. Not worth the high price

Just ok. A little dirty and slightly run down.

This is an older property. The ratings are deceiving for sure! It has not been updated and is not very clean. The shower had what looked like black mold on the ceiling, the couch had noticeable stains and rips and the room smelled “old” and dusty. The beds were comfy and the breakfast was pretty good! For the price though I expected more. If you find this at a lower rate it is for sure a budget type hotel. Don’t expect anything upgraded or fancy for sure though!

No Coffee in Lobby

Room smelled like death, everything else was okay.

The hotel is a little dated, definitely not kept in the nicest condition. We traveled with pets and they had a pet run area which was convenient but it had a lot of trash in and around it. The room was spacious, but again not kept in the best condition with stains on furniture and carpet. The hotel pool was closed for cleaning on a Saturday which was also inconvenient as we had children with us.

Had to move rooms because the shower was dirty. Broken handles on doors and not as nice as other Staybridges hotels. Staff was helpful, breakfast person was definitely overwhelmed.

No service. Stayed 2 days never saw house keeping. Breakfast was never ready. Would not recommend

The hotel is average. But poor breakfast service. Needed to remind front desk that they ran out of paper plates, coffee, coffee cups and bacon at the breakfast buffet. Even their fountain juice was out of order. No juice. Might decide to stay away next time we are in Amarillo.

Overall our room was dated and run down. There were multiple broken items, including the toilet paper holder and door hook. Additionally, the room did not feel clean, with multiple stains on the carpet, furniture and towels. The pet fee at $35 a piece (for members, $50 a piece for non-members) was surprising and the highest we have ever seen. We had stayed at another Staybridge the night before and it was only $10, so we assumed it would be the same and did not see otherwise when booking our next room. Overall, we were disappointed in this hotel compared to other Staybridge Suites we have been to that we were very happy with.

I loked the easy accessibility to my room and the pool area.

The positives: Rate was decent, staff was nice, location has a lot of dining and shopping options. The negatives: The room was in rough shape - phone did not work, stains/dirty chairs, curtains, carpet, fabric on chairs and couch were torn, broken handle on closet, missing towel rod in bathroom, dirty shower head, complimentary popcorn was expired, bedroom TV would not connect, and the hotel overall smelled unappealing. I'm sure there are things I overlooked or forgetting...

You could tell the room was not properly cleaned because of items found in room that did not belong to myself or my husband .

I was a bit unhappy that the property tried to charge me twice for my stay and overdrew my account which left me with no money for a weekend.

The hot tub is broken, rooms stinks and a/c won’t cool, elevator broke.

Smelled and felt unclean. Things looked to be more old and dirty from too much wear and tear. The rooms were obviously cleaned and flipped.

Dirty with hard beds

This hotel was great. Wish we had been staying longer to truly utilize the room as we were just passing through to our destination.

Dirty diaper left by housekeeping. Crumbs left I. The sleeper couch. Glasses in cupboard were dirty with lipstick on them. Beds were nice and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean.

TV was a little bit at a date compared to other Staybridge Suites this Staybridge Suites seems to have not been updated in some time they did offer great dining which was free but I believe this Staybridge charged a service fee for it the pool and hot tub were nice unfortunately we did stay in Amarillo two weeks after it had flooded and the whole city stunk very bad but overall I would recommend this hotel especially for family stay bridge Suites is always good I just think this one could use some updating staff was friendly but the girl had stated she was new and was not able to help us with a few things all in all I would give this place a 3.5 out of five

Friendly staff in a safe area. Their rooms and property are clean. Our suite had a kitchenette with all of the appliances and dishware. Very fair price.

The property was located close to I-40 which was ideal for my trip. Lighting in parking lot could be better. My check in staff was not real friendly & seemed stressed.

The room was really worn down. Lots of handles broken throughout, no usb ports, the ac didn’t work well, and the noise from in and out of the room was very loud

This hotel was meh. The smoke detector was beeping when we got to our room. We did a test and it continued to beep. Front desk said they did not have batteries to try replacing, so we just unplugged the detector for the night. They didn’t have 2 queens that we reserved, so we got a king/sofa bed room. We did have our 2 kids, so we opened the hide-a-bed and found it to be the size of a twin and a half with a very thin mattress. We ended up putting one kid there with the other on the chaise next to it with a block of the coffee table rolled at the end to support their feet. Not ideal. There was water damage in the bathroom, and the whole place looked like it could use some TLC.

Late Arrival - Great Experience

I arrived late with my ESA dog. I had called ahead that I’d be checking in late with her. Everything was ready. Check-in took 5 minutes tops. Breakfast was good. Location was great. I’ I’ll stay there again.

Good enough to sleep

The staff was friendly and helpful when they could be, but the heat did not work in the room and they seemed indifferent about it. We left hours early because the car was more comfortable than the room.

Nice

Staff was very friendly and conversational giving us local tips on things to see/do. The only negative is the suite did not have any coffee cups in the room when we awoke and made coffee.

Was most definitely one of the worst motels. I’ve stayed in, in a long time. Room was filthy pool & Jacuzzi was out of service. Staff was friendly though.

It was a great quick stop. I probably wouldn't do an extended stay. Some things seemed a bit run down.

Hotel in General is very clean

Not as Expected

Fairly new hotel, was unable to check in early because there were only 3 rooms of my type and still needed to be cleaned. When checked in, room was not very clean as expected. Some gum was stuck in the carpet and door handles of to closet were dirty with some white powder. Sink had dirt between wall and sink edges. Hotel was out of soap so had to go buy some.

Service was terrible and slow. No air conditioning in our room.

Will stay again

My stay was good, friendly staff. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast, wish they had oatmeal. Even instant would have been nice but it was only scrambled eggs sausage biscuits fried potatoes gravy make your own waffle or bread products or cereal.

Love the kitchen. Kids love the pool. I though i ordered a king with a seperate livng area. I wish i had a confirmation on my order. But checking back it sats king studio on my app. Over all nice place to stay.

The room was pretty worn out. Walls had scuffs. Room also had a weird odor. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good, process was good. Room just soso.

My family did a road trip and this was our fifth hotel stay. Overall, it was a good experience. I would recommend for any family, personal or corporate travel. It was quiet, and the room was overwhelmingly spacious. This was my family's favorite hotel room. It was comfortable, it had a kitchenette, and it was VERY well air conditioned. We brought food in and the room was already equipped with silverware, cups, etc. We were able to store left overs in the full size fridge. The breakfast was exceptional. My kids loved the Texas shaped waffles and my husband enjoyed the seasoned potatoes. The staff was exceptionally friendly. Checking in and out was fast. The only pitfalls were that the room was obviously worn and the only elevator had some kind of pet poop smeared on it. The room had broken handles on some closets, cracked tiles in the bathroom, and the pull out couch mattress had to be at least 15yrs old (it was stained and didn't have a mattress cover). Thankfully, our stay wasn't hindered by that. The elevator was an issue and my family ended up walking the stars.

They did not check for ID’s when we came back through town. Let me teenage daughter check us in and not wait for the adults who the reservations was made for. Did not even ask them to show credit card. Very disappointed in this. We really think about if we will go back to this hotel.

Close to restaurants

Clean and pleasant.

Check-in was quick staff friendly and place is clean. Room was clean, beds are hard for me but most hotels are.indoor pool is nice and has a good BBQ area.

We found human waste in the bathroom on the outside of the toilet the morning we woke up there. It was disturbing. We asked for a refund and they refused.

Last time I will stay at Stay Bridge.

I was very disappointed with this stay I am Amarillo every 2 months. I always try to stay at Stay bridge. This stay, was not good. I did not get the room I reserved. I did NOT like that the hotel has the shower gel and shampoo/conditioner bolted to the wall requiring it to be refilled by staff. They did not have enough key cards, or extra linens(blanket). If everything would have been good, I would have arranged to stay an additional night. This is probably the last time I will stay at Stay bridge and that is a pity. It is convenient to everything I need to do and easy access to restraunts.

Food service staff was literally hostile

Staying at Staybridge with Pets might be the best experience I’ve ever had traveling with my dogs.

Great Stay

The folks were great, breakfast was good, and the checkout was easy.

Great room layout, but property is mismanaged.

The property seems to be having staffing issues. The restrooms, elevator, halls, not clean. Front desk was great, very friendly. The breakfast staff simply didn't care. Lots unstocked 45 minutes before close. No forks, no meat, no milk, no fruit. Very poor. This would be a great property if it was managed and cleaned properly.

Good hotel

We had a great family stay. Our room wasn't ready at check-in time, we waited about 20 minutes but we waited in the pool and hot tub so it wasn't a big deal. Our room was great. Breakfast was great with many options and they had bacon!

Waited forever to check in

We didn’t have a great experience while waiting to check in at the front desk. A guest ahead of us was checking in and they were told their room was no longer available because they were overbooked. Two rooms had been found in place of the guests original suite. The guest was very upset. I waited at least thirty minutes to check in. In the end the guest got the original room they had booked to begin with…so all of the time we had waited had been wasted. They were able to check me in afterwords very quickly. We have really enjoyed our room and the pool so far. Just didn’t have a good experience at check in.

Breakfast was a no go

Very upset that I had a 9am flight and went down to have breakfast yet they started setting up 20 minutes later then time shown and didn’t have any meats out at 40 mins past so we missed breakfast.
