Idk, but to me the stay was perfect made you feel like you were home. Full kitchen pots and pans etc, would definitely come back.

I like how friendly the staff was and how clean the rooms were.

Good concept of a hotel with kitchen, living, and bedroom at a reasonable price.. However, cleaning needs some work. The hardwood floors were filthy, shower curtain had mold all around the bottom, drain in bathroom sink clogged and retained water. The smell was bad in the unit as well, like too many bodies may have been in previously, not fresh and clean at all. Wasn’t a bad stay, just could be cleaner.

Due to my late check in and the lobby being closed, the front desk contacted me directly to place my apt key in a lockbox. My apt was the first next to the back parking lot door. The door slammed anytime someone entered or exited. The beds were comfortable but I think if they included a boogie board under the mattress it would feel more sturdy. The apt was clean, grounds inside and outside were also clean. I like the fact that StayAPT is off a side street away from the interstate for a quieter area. There were 2 times I went to the lobby in which no one was there, my checkout was leaving my apt key on the desk. Someone should be in the lobby 7a-8p. First time I went was around 6p and the second was about 8:30a, doors were open but no concierge.

This property is unique as it resembles more of a hotel/dorm set up. Our room was clean but we had significant traffic noise at night. Easy check in but no one was available at the front desk for check out. No decent restaurants or coffee within walking distance.

There was 3 little roaches in our room ( different occasions ) - room 309 . Other than that it was awesome - definitely will stay again just fyi ..

Need to Improve Cleanliness

It's not clean. There was hair in bathtub with a bad odor when we checked in. Utensil in the kitchen were dirty.

I was pleased that the property was clean and just as shown in the pics! All the appliances worked and came equipped with dishes. The staff is friendly and checkin & checkout was easy. The parking lot is big. It was perfect for my family of 5! 5 stars indeed!

Excellent place

The room was nice and very clean. The bed were so comfortable and soft. Loved the over all apartment type setup. Convenient location.

Long term stay hotel that had minimal kitchen basics to the point of why even offer a kitchenette. Bathroom was a little dirty but the room overall was ok. Staff was very friendly. Probably a solid 3 stars.

Not bad

Everything was great. Staff great, kitchen very good for those with family. Pull out coach was just horrible. I understand its a not gonna be confortable, but that thing nobody can sleep on just FYI. Very clean room, but the shower curtain was old and had mold markings on it. Quick and cheap fix. Definitely worth it in my opinion other than those 2 things that can easily be addressed.

Amazing Stay!! Stayed for 5 days during Thanksgiving. Rooms are huge. LOTS OF SPACE for our family of 2 adults 3 kids. Loved the convenience of the stove, refrigerator, dish washer, kitchen area. Both the living room and bedroom had tvs. LOVED the courtyard area with the outdoor fireplace and seating. We did not use the laundry room or bbq pit area but they were available. GREAT STAY!

Very good place to stay. Would recommend staying here. I have stayed here multiple times and I love it. Very clean and spacious. Also has some kitchen items to cook with.

Extended Stay Surprise

Friendly and helpful staff. The room, was what i expected. A nice living room, small kitchenette and separate bedroom. The comfort would be my only point of mention. The A/C was needed even though it was coldish outside, but the A/C did not maintain a constant comfort level. Second, the bed. Mattress was on a metal platform. Dare i say, not the quiet type. These beds were very noisy! I mean, wow. Any turn and it was like you were sleeping on the loudest springs. If you sleep solid and don't roll around, you'll be fine. If like me, toss and turn, it will wake ya.

Everything was great. The ONLY thing I didn’t like was their policy on the card hold. I thought it was too high. Other than that, everything was excellent.

Surprised with price and quality

I wasn’t sure about the place because it was such a good price. But the hotel apartment was so nice, comfortable, and clean. The beds were actually comfortable. That is usually an issue for me. They had a court yard and my daughter and I enjoyed it while reading our books. If we would have stayed longer I would have cooked and used the kitchen. We would definitely visit again.

Nice and spacious like small apartment. Very clean. Would definitely return back.

Roaches

The general manager was nice and helped me check in after hours. The room itself had a couple of bugs, might’ve been roaches. The bathroom sink was clogged and filled with water. I called the office to fix the sink but it was never fixed during my stay. Also, i assumed there was cookware since there’s a kitchen and plates/bowls/cups but there was nothing to actually cook with.

I stayed 1 week. Didn’t even know hotels like this existed. It was more so a 1 bedroom apartment. Very clean . Full kitchen. Had utensils, measuring cup, spoons , cutting board and knife. I was able to cook a full meal. All I needed was the ingredients. My car was secure. Lots of military people staying here. Everyone was nice. My only con is above was a family. The kid running around and heavy stomping while walking was an issue at night. I called the manager. After the call, the noise improved significantly. In the future I’d get a unit on the top floor. They have elevator, gym and free coffee / tea in the lobby.

Cleaning

Family trip for our granddaughter. We choose to stay here at StayApt and let’s say we love it! Staff was very very friendly and it’s close to a lot of places.

Nice stay

Was a quick 1 night stay and first time trying a hotel-apartment style location. Overall everything was good. Room had a beautiful kitchenette but didn't use it. It is pet friendly, but didn't like the extra fee on arrival that I was nit aware of when booking.

Didn’t know this was a apt type, thought it was a hotel environment with pool and amenities Had nothing to offer for vacation plan , No breakfast , would not stay again price was stated a lot different than charged

This is one of the best places to stay on

Price was the only thing I liked but if we could have found an available 2 rooms else where we would have after the 1st night. Unit 111 stunk physically we called it in on Friday and they said they would have someone over to check it out that happened on Monday as we were checking out there was mold and mildew. The walls are thin we were in 112, we heard the dog on the next floor up whining in room 213 and my son n law snoring next door in 111. The courtyard has signs stating no one outside after 9pm so the court yard is quite, but the traffic from the freeway and the street behind up was constant. There is no pool as it says on the website. No Ice Machine, no place to walk to, without crossing heavy traffic. We knew there was no breakfast but pay $20 more to stay next door. The beds squeeze every time you move the spring frame makes it comfortable but the noise keeps you up unless you keep the TV on all night. Show was clean very little pressure, kitchen was clean but you need to bring your own sponge and dish soap. I will never stay at APT Again. Motel 6 is better & I refuse to stay there. They did accommodate us with rooms next to each other.

It is kid friendly.

They were amazing! I had my son’s dog with me for BMT graduation at Lackland AFB. I was worried about the dog being too noisy because it was a new place and the staff put me at ease. Everything was fine and they were so friendly. I would definitely stay again.

Home away from home feeling

This was my and my family’s second time staying here. It’s more like an apartment than a hotel. Love the convenience of so many things nearby. Always our go to when we travel for Seaworld

Wonderful stay! We loved the size of the room and all the amenities that were included. My children loved the open courtyard area! We will definitely take more advantage of the courtyard on our next trip.

What I did not like about this property is that the thermostat in the rooms would not go below 68. We normally keep ours around 65 at night. Two of the nights we were there vehicles were racing down the side street very loud.

Excellent 3 night stay for our 2 days at Sea World. My son is in a wheelchair and the ADA room was perfect for him.

Great Gem of a place to stay

I was truly surprised and impressed when my family and I walked into the room. I was totally expecting it to be like a regular hotel, but it was more like an apartment. I really appreciate the full kitchen in there as we were able to buy and put groceries in the full size fridge, cook on the stove and it also have a dishwasher and a full sink. It was clean throughout upon entry. The tub was rather small but, clean so that’s a plus. But the bonus for me was there are two televisions in the unit!!! I highly recommend!!! Oh and seeing the welcome screen with my name was the highlight for me 😊 very pleased with our stay here! Thank you!

It's just eh...

This place was just ok. It's really meant for long term stays but yet it's not stocked at all for even a short term stay. We had no hand soap, no paper towels, and half a roll of toilet paper until we asked the front desk for more. Poor water pressure. But the AC kicks booty So that's a plus. House cleaning does not come into your room the entire time. So if you just want a roof over your head and a squeaky bed too sleep on then you place will suffice.

The front desk staff was very nice and welcoming. I liked that many restaurants were within a 5 minute drive. It was pretty convenient to Lackland AFB and we enjoyed the space with the living room to visit with family. They only have one entrance to parking open at night. It was very quiet. We didn’t hear anyone around us.

I absolutely loved staying here. Manager was amazing. The room had everything I needed and more. I travel to San Antonio several times a year. I have had treble experiences 9 out of ten times. The only way I know the room will be ok is if it’s $250-$450. Not anymore! This will be my new spot every time. So happy

Mini Apt

Everything was AMAZING. Super clean with so many things available in the room, such as a WORKING fridge, micro, and a DISHWASHER. We were very impressed. Absolutely love it. Literally a mini apartment.

Apartment style accommodations were amazing and very unique!!! The attention to detail cleaning could have been better! The main CON: There's a $250 holding fee on top off room payment that isn't disclosed until you check-in. That wasn't expected and a surprise!

Not the best experience

The room was dirty. There was a birthday balloon on the ceiling from the previous residents. My kid was walking barefoot and her feet were black from the floor being dirty. There was an old man trying to peak in our room. Service was ok, but I didn’t like the $250 deposit I had to pay. Usually at hotels there’s only a $50 deposit.

Great for family travel

This place was perfect for a family trip on a budget. Pro-tip: Bring your own paper towels and dish soap, but the staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Our grandkids loved it and suited our needs perfectly!

Solo trip

Took a weekend to myself. This place was so clean. In my opinion, the room is big enough and comfortable enough for one to maybe 4 people. I felt at home which i dont get at a hotel. Highly recommend.

Not Great

The only reason this hotel is getting two stars is because the receptionist and her staff were really nice. The room was dirty! Especially the floors if you walk around your feet get black and very dusty. You can tell they do the minimum when it’s time for a new guest but they don’t deep clean. The bathroom counter was a mess and there was crumbs in the bed. They push that there is a quiet time from 9 pm to 7 am but the people above us had rambunctious kids that ran back and forth and jumped and yelled all night until 2-3 in the morning. My biggest issues though was how dirty the room was!!

The pull out couch and beds were not the most comfortable, but the staff was really friendly and the rooms featured a nice kitchen and adequate bathroom. Not bad.

Nice weekend space

Room was good, front desk staff was nice. Hotel felt secure, space was well laid out.

Pros: The front desk staff was responsive and willing to go to extra mile. check-in was easy for the most part. The rooms are like a mini apartment and had lots of space the kitchen was nice and functional. The bed was a great height for a wheelchair user the mattress was great to sleep on. Cons: The bathroom needs some work. The floor is too flat. Therefore, whenever you take a shower in the ADA roll in shower, it floods the bathroom, causing an issue with being able to safely transfer from the fold down shower chair back into your wheelchair. The AC unit was leaking water and caused wetness on our belongings, but the front desk was prompt and willing to rectify the issue by bringing extra towels, but it is an issue that they are aware of. I was even offered the ability to transfer to another room because of the awareness of the issue, I felt that that was an inconvenience because who goes to a hotel, expecting to have to change rooms. Over It’s a decent hotel.

The hotel in general was super clean, and the price was just right.

Stayed here during our son’s BMT graduation at Lackland AFB. Very nice place ..room was clean loved being able to cook meals… Kudos to the manager Mary for attentiveness to guest and all her hard work to making it an enjoyable stay ..
