Good
Great location
Very clean. Healthy breakfast options. Convenient to coast and airport.
Ok
Nice place to stay!
Complimentary breakfast. Room size
The Springhill Marriott hotel deserves an absolute 5 star in my opinion as when I had first entered, they had greeted us and were very friendly and helpful. The stay was very pleasant and quiet. It's very clean and the service is excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable and nice place to stay at. There are places around the area as well.
Too expensive for what you get. Parking fee $15/day is ridiculous
Breakfast should be until 9..30 . We didn't have enough time to have breakfast on-time. Our room was for 4 people and we had to sleep in a sofa for one person.
Good place to stay
Convenient to my parents house.

Our tub was clogged. They should check this before making the room available.
Check in was easy
Staff was very nice and breakfast was good with lots of different options.
AC/Heater didn’t work, toilet kept running, TV had no channel line up and the room smelled
I like the location of the hotel. I have stayed here in the past with no complaints, but I observed some problems this time: bed was poor (was woken up by a backache); bathroom sink has a faulty valve - you get cold water for a long time, then finally hot water comes in, then it goes back to cold. Or it starts hot, then immediately switches to cold. Very strange! Microwave of course didn't work. We pulled it out of the cabinet, unplugged it, then plugged it back in, and that was enough to reset the computer. So why doesn't the housekeeping staff notice things like this? None of the usual supplies provided in the bath area - moisturizing lotion, shower cap, etc. There was soap, I'm happy to say. Towels in short supply and were not resupplied on the second day. I never saw a housekeeping cart, so I didn't have an opportunity to ask for another towel. Last item: I liked the breakfast provisions except that there was very little fruit. After all, this is San Diego - one of the agricultural capitals of the US. No oranges!
The staff was very nice but room cleanliness wasn’t great
The bathtub is too old and downgraded
We are “regulars” here as it is close to family and I-15. Property and staff meet all expectations.
Kind, allowed me to check in early. And were very accommodating.
I really like the view from my room. It was very good experience. Thank you.
Worth to stay
We three of us stayed one night in this hotel. This hotel was in a very safe area. The room was very clean and roomy. Sheets were clean and soft. The water in the swimming pool was not heated to the temperature that we felt like swimming in the pool.
Good Hotels for the area.
Nice hotel
Two night stay during the week.
We had 2 Night stay during the week while we participated in a golf tournament close by the hotel. The check-in staff was great. I like that they have a coffee/tea station always available.
Was a lovely spot!
Good property. Comfortable beds and pillows. I would stay again
.
Friendly and nice staff
Staff is friendly and trustworthy!
I was able to get an early check in with no problem
The hotel was centrally located and there were a few dining options in walking distance, which made it more convenient. The hotel and area were safe for my teen daughter to walk about with her teammates.
Great accommodations
Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast is always a plus. Huge selection of bfast items. Room was nice and big. Beds comfortable. The only complaint I would have is that our bathroom smelled strongly of cigarettes. Like an ashtray. Wasn’t sure if it was coming from the vent or from the shower curtain.
This place was wonderful for me and my three friends. we came from out of town to visit or other friend and we were all able to sleep there.
Excellent option off the 15
Excellent property with all you would expect from Springhill Suites in a great location.
Nice stay
Very helpful and friendly staff! Comfortable, clean and modern furnishings. Convenient location near freeway and restaurants. Good breakfast including hot scrambled eggs, cereals, fruit. I would recommend staying at this hotel
Overall experience was okay just wish I didn’t have to share a bed with my kids due to finding 3 bugs in the pull out couch . Just yuck please look on the mattress and sheets before seating or sleeping
Quite convenient off the freeway. Ample parking available. Staff quite attentive upon check-in.
Comfortable rooms, good bed, great staff, decent breakfast. Rooms are a little worn and a firmer pillow option would be good. Marriott's are consistently very good.
Decent place to stay, staff is friendly and accomodating
Easy and great staff
My two year old found nicotine chewing gum in the bed. Thank god I seen her before she ate it.The bed where dirty sheets wrinkled. Clearly can tell the room was not properly cleaned. No one bothered to come to the room and check it. Then the ac was freezing and could not cut it off. All the kids woke up with a runny nose. We asked for help and extra blankets. They said they send someone in the morning. No one came. I talked to the front desk. They stated there was no manager onsite. I know there should be one available on site. She never checked on us or called to follow up. After checking out I had to call because she never did like your staff told me she would. There was other hotel guess complaining about dirty rooms as well. The manager was rude and told me there was nothing she could do. After renting us dirty rooms and a ac that we couldn't turn off. She gave the other people new rooms while telling us there's nothing she can do with an attitude. I have video. And will be taking this to corporate. I don't like how I was treated. I spent my hard earned money for my daughters birthday. It was not a good stay at all!!
Good please!
Keep it up
SeaWorld and Family Visit
Our stay was very nice. Room was clean and quiet. Walking distance to restaurants. Close to freeway. Staff was very helpful and complimentary breakfast was good.
Great customer service. Rooms were nice and clean.
Overall a good stay. The marketplace/shop is tiny it would be nicer if it was bigger, and the breakfast was okay, I wish there had been a few more options for fresh food let’s processed but overall the rooms were comfortable nice fitness center a good stay
Excellent staff. Friendly and helpful.
Sink was clogged and there was a huge beetle. Maintainer fixed the sink next morning and bugs happen but other than that decent stay.
Amazing place
The staff was great and the place was clean
Nice room. It comes with everything that we need.
issues with toilet / room change
toilet wasn't working unfortunately. When maintenance came, they said we'd have to change rooms. We were in town for a funeral and had to leave for a wake, and we were told we'd have a different room we could transfer to. However, when we returned that night, there was confusion as to whether we were changing rooms or not. I mean.. why would I keep a room with a broken toilet??!?!?!
Stay was fine did not like the fact that i jad to ask for towals because they did not clean room regularly.

Le falta limpieza, y mejora en las instalaciones
My family and i have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions. If we didn't like it, we would not keep coming back. I would like to note something. Perhaps you can provide more vegan( plant based options) and less pork options. Thank you!
Close to major Highway, safe and convenient.
I have bad experience this time with the hotel, when I arrived at 1 am there is no one in front desk and the employee was sleeping and didn't answer my phone and that caused waiting time at front desk one hour until he woke up and checked me in. Also, the hotel was so bad with all services, the room smell is so bad and the hot tub did not work during our reservation, the administration for that hotel was so bad and poor. We didn't like it.
Nice family friendly hotel
Easy freeway access. Staff was excellent, especially in the breakfast area
Good condition and nice
When I checked in I was asked if I wanted the room cleaned after the second night of our stay. I said "yes". The room was not cleaned by 3:30 pm so I asked the person at the desk about it and he took care of it immediately. I think the better option is to tell the guest that the room will be cleaned on X day(s) and ask the guest to confirm if that is what they want or if they want alternative days. We have stayed multiple times at a Residence Inn in Alexandria, VA and this is what they do which works the best for a stay that is 3 or more nights.
Room was maybe the cleanest room I’ve stayed in. The scents to the soaps provided was nice. Nothing overpowering. Beds were comfortable. Fridge was cold. Easy to get extra towels. Gym was nice and intimate for a work out. Staff was nice and helpful.
Always great stay, great staff and facilities…
Overall good hotel, only complains are rust under shower faucet and cold breakfast sausage.
Very friendly staff & very clean. We always enjoy our stay here.
Location was great
Had to request for towels. They wouldn’t send plates / plastic ware to the room. Overnight parking extra.
We loved our stay at SpringHill Suites. The rooms were clean, the staff was welcoming, and the amenities were perfect for our kids. Highly recommend for a memorable family trip!
Would stay here again
Great customer service, rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also decent with a good variety.
Nice stay
Great location and excellent breakfast choices. The trundle pullout bed was great for the kids
Good service
Overly priced for what seemed to be close to being motel 6. We made a reservation for 5 people so they knew that we would have to use the sofa bed, and when we got there the sofa bed was disgusting, it had pee stains and trash all over it. Pillows are lumpy which was quite a challenge to get to sleep. They also did not provide enough towels for five people, not to mention how they don’t have daily cleaning of the room and we actually had to take our own trash out and had piles of towels on the floor, after we managed to get more towels for everyone to shower. Also I didn’t feel safe leaving my car parked there since they post signs that say park at your own risk, and they do charge for parking but for some reason the lady at the front desk said that we wouldn’t be charged. It was also very hard to sleep since there was a lot of noise. Kids running all through the halls and yelling. We also had a nice surprise of someone setting the alarm at 6am daily and we finally managed to turn it off after the second day. Another thing I disliked was their breakfast was super early, 6:30am to 9am that’s terrible, with all the noise going on it seemed I was just getting to sleep at 6am, very inconvenient. There’s a big gap from the bottom of the door to the floor so we could hear everything. Hotel needs to definitely be updated badly. Don’t think we’ll be returning ever.
Really clean and good breakfast.
Great location
Great place
We were mostly out of our room with family during our 3 days. The room was comfortable and clean. We were disappointed to discover we had no hot water at night.
Hotel was really nice!
All things are clean quite friendly
Good enough for our family stay
When booking, we requested that the couch and pull-out bed both be prepared with bedding and it was not. The front desk sent someone right away to put on the bedding, but only for the pull-out bed, so one of our kids had to sleep without a sheet or pillow. I thought the room we booked said it was two queen beds, but the size of the beds was something between a twin and full. There was no fan in the bathroom and the water for the shower could only be burning hot, but gave cooler water for a bath. After sleeping one night with 5 people (2 adults, 3 little children), the room was very stuffy. I was impressed with the small kitchen area, which had a helpful countertop. The room was clean when we arrived and though some wallpaper was peeling in one or two spots in the room, the carpet was in great condition. The breakfast offered a couple of vegan options with oatmeal or cheerios and, of course, fruit.
Staff was friendly and helpful
Avoid room 107
We stayed here for comic con (room 107). We checked in around 3pm, we were not advised the internet was down. We unpacked as usual and put some snacks in the fridge for the kids. The fridges do not have freezers at these locations. We set it to max hoping it will get colder. Our AC also was not working. Front desk had service come check the AC, TV and fridge. The tech told us the whole hotel was impacted by the Microsoft issue from a week ago but was able to get the AC going. As we waited to see if the fridge got any colder the smoke alarm went off (around 9pm - low battery) we called the front desk asking for service again. We decided to get a cooler from a local Target to keep the kids snacks cold because the fridge was just not going to do. Breakfast was great like in all Marriott hotels. The second morning, my daughter was itching her shoulder. But I didn’t think much of it. Her itchiness was getting worse by the second day. Upon looking I saw about 40 bug bites. Turns out the pull out couch mattress had bed bugs. We got moved to a different room but the ac was not working there and the bathroom door was not locking. We decided to request to go back to 107 and took extra precautions. I expressed to the hotel I had never experienced this, they refunded our stay in full. Staff over all was very friendly, Brenda was far more than exceptional. I also reported ding dong ditch on our last night. This was a memorable stay to say the least.
All good
Excellent for families
I liked that the area was nice and it was off the freeway. The reason we chose to stay here was because it was in between SeaWorld and the Safari Park which worked out great in that sense. However, I didn’t like that it was dirty. The walls had stains. There was a ponytail in the shower. We checked in Friday and I noticed trash and lots on accumulated dust on the elevator floor. On Monday when we checked out the same dust and trash was still there. The hallway floor we stayed on smelled like bug spray. It was pretty gross all around. The front desk staff was nice. The staff working the breakfast area (2 ladies) were making rude and unprofessional comments about people being there too early (6:15am).
Everything was great except we had TV issue
Pool was down, but these things happen. Bathroom small and towels didn't dry well in it, could use exhaust fans.
The hotel was nice. Our room was spacious. The bathroom could use a fan. Kitchenet sink was a little plugged up and the refrigerator took a while to cool. The extra parking fee was disappointing. Good selection for breakfast. Would have like to have had waffles, but it was not offered while we were there. Employees were very nice.
The property and staff were absolutely EXCELLENT. Our issue was with Expedia which screwed up our reservation and did not book our stay as we reserved. Thankfully, Nicholas and the staff were great with rectifying the situation that they did not create. I recommend this property for anyone but I’m disappointed with Expedia.
It was perfect for our last minute getaway!
Poor experience
Floor near AC was all wet, I asked the front desk they did not do anything. Carpets were all with dirt patches and the sink was clogged. They knew we were 4 family members but they did not kept enough supplies
Great
I had problems staying connected with the WiFi. Had to call them 4 times before finally tech support was able to help me. When calling house keeping for pillows and blankets it took too long. The staff was wonderful but perhaps they were under staffed even though the hotel was fully booked.
We only stay at Marriott hotels. I feel like for the most part, their standards are high. This room I rented was spacious and seemed cleaned for the most part. The microwave was a bit dirty and the roof had a spot that looked like someone painted over a mold area, near the bed by the window. We got there pretty late (family of 4) and I was a bit bothered by 2 things. First, that the staff did not tell me that the sofa bed was not your typical pull-out bed (where you'd have to remove the cushions first) but it had a section below to pull out. Pretty easy. However, I'm not used to these sofa beds and because I didn't know, I spent so much time trying to figure it out when all I wanted to do is go to sleep. I called the reception and they, then, advised me that this was a different sofa bed. Number 2 was that the receptionist who signed us in made copies of our driver's license and credit card without consent. I didn't know this until my husband told us upstairs that he saw her walking back to her desk with a copy of such. I asked the supervisor the next day as I have never seen someone do this before and she said because of the IT outage, they ve been doing this. I just wish I was asked BEFORE they make copies of my personal info. I have been a victim of identity theft in the past due to a breach and it was a long process for everything to go back to normal. I probably would come back to this hotel if nothing else is available around the area. Overall, my experience was fair.
