Check in process?

Nice place. Told to go straight in through the door as we were checking in after 15:00 and reception would be closed. Received this message on the morning we were arriving. However when doing this got shouted at and told to come to the reception!? Nice room.

The best weekend ever.

We enjoyed our stay very much. All though there is no lift but I knew this when I booked. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they bent over backwards too make our stay enjoyable. Well done to them. Will certainly be staying there again.

Lovely lovely lovely but the only thing was disturbed sleep due to the bug light outside our window.. lol take eye mask to block the light.. the staff were great, helpful, friendly & knowledgeable

Very enjoyable stay. Pleasant welcome inc a drink. Plenty of info in regard to where to visit in Cadiz. The Noray Bar adjoined to the Lodge was very nice. Decent food/tapas and drinks @ very reasonable prices. Great helpful staff. Entertainment on a fairly regular basis livened the evening up. Observations, our room; (the Captain’s quarters), could do with a black-out curtain as, the street light immediately outside the window is on most of the night. Room not cleaned/bins incl toilet one not emptied over 4 nights. Bathroom towels not changed during same period. Did not detract from a great break, but change of towels especially, would have made a difference.

The Lodge is located within walking distance from the train station and just in to the old town. There are plenty of bars and eateries close by. We had a late check in - the keys were waiting for us in a lock box and it could not have gone smoother. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, if a little cramped, for a weeks stay. The rooftop terrace was very pleasant. My sole caveat about the place would be the ammount of stairs, but then again this was mentioned when we booked. Overall a pleasant plce to stay.

Cadiz

Great location, apartment had everything that was needed including things such as washing up liquid, oil for cooking. Unfortunately a few kitchen items were not clean. There was a lot of street noise late at night but this did not hugely effect sleep. Lovely roof terrace-which was not very busy, nice place to chill out-hammocks were great touch.

Lovely little pension

Great location. Friendly, clean & Quirky. The savoy it ain’t, but an excellent base to explore Cadiz.

I like the names on the rooms, this is really a gem in Cadiz. Would like to stay again but it is full for the rest of this week.

Good place to stay with spanish accent!

Good place to stay with spanish accent! Well located, near city attractions and restaurants. The appartment had all the necessities but needed refresh to get 5/5. Upon arrival, met friendly hosts and check-in was fast and easy...we even received welcome cervezas! One of the highlight, for sure is the terrace. We would do our 5-8 up on the roof, cozy place to enjoy a cerveza with garlic olives...thank you

Great Stay

The owner of the lodge is very welcoming and helpful! Location is good and near lots of restaurants and bars. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Nice hotel for the price. The stairway was a little daunting with luggage but help was offered.

Cadiz

The accommodation was very central but our room was close to reception area and there was guests noise. There was quite a lot of exterior noise in the street below our room and the balcony door couldn’t be closed properly.

Quirky, wonderful small pansion with lovely staff and a gorgeous roof terrace. I want to go back and leave my soul hanging on that terrace

The hotel is well located, with a carpark nearby. The shared bathrooms are a bit unusual but are kept clean. Good value for money

Great location. Plaza nearby has excellent restaurants. Walking distance from all the sites. They told us where to park. Friendly staff. Lovely roof top terrace. Enjoyed a bottle of wine with some grapes and cheese on the roof top at sunset after a nice day at the beach.

Nice, clean hotel 15-20 minutes away from the beaches. I love that there were a few events happening at the hotel (BBQ, yoga and massages) with the friendly and welcoming staff, so accommodating. I would definitely return to the Spanish Galleon & have recommended it to my friends

Well located, great customer service, great value for money abd comfortable. Walls are thin so light sleepers be warned.

Very nice lodge with separate room and a beautiful roof top terrace. Conveniently and centrally located, perfect for our short stay in Cadiz. Staff is also very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come again!

The finest place for little money.

The Spanish Galleon Lodge was truly the finest place we have stayed in in many years for the low price asked. They even gave us a free upgrade. Everything was new and in perfect running order. The staff was very helpful with ideas of things to do and see. Cadiz, one of Europe's oldest cities with the ocean on three sides of this peninsula, treasures its historic disctrict.

Enkelt og godt hotel med central beliggenhed

Godt og billigt hotel centralt i Cadiz. Der er ikke reception på stedet, men indehaverne er lette at komme i kontakt med og giver god vejledning i check-in og andet. Der er en tagterrasse med flot udsigt, men da vi var der udenfor sæsonen var baren deroppe lukket. Vi ankom med toget, som ligger få minutters gang væk.

Ubicación estupenda en una calle tranquila, limpio, personal agradable, hemos estado muy bien.

God værdi

Super central sted midt i byen, dejligt værelse og god modtagelse ved ankomst, dey har været en rigtig god oplevelse at overnatte to nætter her.

Etablissement agréable, personnel compétent disponible et extrêmement sympathique. Hotel très bien situé.

schöne Unterkunft in Cadiz

Die Lage ist optimal. Junge, sehr freundliche Angestellte. Alles war zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Man sollte jedoch gut zu Fuss sein, da es keinen Lift gibt. Wir würden immer wieder hier übernachten.

La habitación estaba muy bien, y la gente del servicio muy maja y agradable, pero olvidaron limpiarnos la habitación y reponernos las toallas...

Me gustó el personal del café que me atendió . Muy agradable y el sitio muy acogedor

Good location close to the beaches

A very nice place in the center of Cadíz. Super friendly staff, good location close to the beaches.The roof top terrace is wonderfull. A bit noisy at night.

Det var en utrolig god oplevelse at besøge hotellet. Har aldrig boet på et bedre hotel til prisen, det gælder også servicen som var til mange stjerner - Og jeg har rejst i rigtig mange lande

Unik og charmerende lodge

Et helt usædvanligt charmerende sted med en meget varm modtagelse. Flot, lyst og enkelt indrettet værelse. Vi boede på værelset Salty Dog. Skøn fælles tagterrasse med lille køkken, hængekøjer og udsigt. Mulighed for at lave kaffe i receptionen, hvor man også kunne købe øl og vand hele døgnet. Helt unikt og maritimt. Vi kommer igen. Fin placering og stor ros til receptionisten for de mange forslag.

Nous avons passé deux nuits dans ce lodge charmant avec une superbe terrasse de toit. Accueil très chaleureux et personnel toujours à notre écoute et prêts à nous donner quelques conseils pour rendre notre séjour encore plus agréable. Hostal très bien situé pour visiter cette jolie et ancienne ville de Cadix. Parking souterrain proche. Nous avons pu assister à un concert de flamenco dans une taberna proche de l'hostal. Ambiance très intime et locale. A ne pas manquer Très bon rapport qualité/prix

Ideale per una toccata e fuga

Struttura vicina alla stazione e tutto sommato in una posizione ottimale per visitare Cadiz. Chiaramente offre il minimo indispensabile per passare una notte

Hyvä perushostelli, jossa olisi ollut myös ihania palveluita kuten joogaa kattoterassilla ja hierontaa. Mukava bonus oli ilmainen tervetuliaisjuoma!

Vi bodde i en lägenhet som var helt perfekt för vår lilla familj. Eftersom vi inte reste under högsäsong var det väldigt prisvärt. Hjälpsam personal och bra läge! Fin takterrass.
