Our host was fairly responsive to our needs. The space was perfect for our family. Unfortunately, the bed frames were in need of maintenance.

On arrival, we contacted the hotel by phone. They gave us the code for our suite. The next day when we had left the hotel to explore the area outside of Halifax they called and said they had put us in the wrong suite by mistake and asked us to pls come and move suites. I noted we were not in town. They offered 1-night free accommodation if we moved. So we returned and moved suites, losing 1/2 a day of sightseeing time. A lot of work as we had fully unpacked and already bought a week's worth of groceries. Later they completely denied there was any offer and said we had gotten into the wrong suite by error, even though they gave us the code to the suite. After much time, energy, and hours spent on the phone with Expedia, noting we had booked 2-4 trips with them each year and never had an issue before, Expedia finally refunded the $ (not from the hotel) Renters beware!
