SMELLY ROOM

The room smelled "moldy". Requested a different room but that room had the moldy smell but not as bad. Very annoying. No patios/ bacony's which was upsetting. Would probably NOT go back.

The suite had a faulty fan in between the bedrooms but otherwise the inside of the building was nice. The outside area is in a neighborhood that seems a little run down but inside was nice and staff friendly.

I liked how we had a kitchenette, kitchen on demand, great location near market, restaurants and airport.

Outdated, but Pleasant

The property is pretty outdated, but it’s clean, and the beds are comfortable. We were just staying one night, and chose this property to be close to the airport. I’d stay here again.

Very expensive for what we got.

They gave us a room that smelled like cigarettes, and when we walked in, there was a mess on the bed. The pillows smelled like cigarettes too. Very expensive for what we got.

Check your room for cleanliness and pests. Changed rooms due to this issue. Staff was very helpful.

The staff is friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and pleasantly fragrant. The shower was hot as I like it. The bed was comfortable, not too firm, not too soft.

Close to airport- not fancy but it works

Price was reasonable if your interested in a short weekend at the beach.

I need to request refund for this stay! Room were dirty and moldy.

Other guests were loud, which was annoying but not terrible. The shower handle was installed wrong. The hot was cold and the cold was hot. Front desk was helpful with questions. Cleaning staff was polite.

Great Stay

The person working at the desk was very nice & welcoming. I like my room and it is a good size. I also liked the kitchenette.

The stay was ok, my bathtub didn't work, also my light next to my bed didn't have a bulb in it. Also I'm very allergic to dogs and I had a dog right across from me barking all the time. Otherwise the stay was, okay, would stay again, I just feel like I should be compensated for all of the discrepancies. THANKS

Bad news!

Over priced not even Kleenex in room No reading lamps next to bed Missing lights everywhere else and the lights were very harsh!!!

Access to main roads

Clean and well equipt apartment. All the utilities needed. The only down side is the laundry facilities are unavailable if you don't have a US phone number.

The hotel is not in the best of shape. There is a smell of perfume throughout the building. There was a shortage of hot water and the TV quit on us. This is a pass for future trips.

Average hotel for price

Room was clean, deodorizer was overpowering when entering room. Kitchenette was great- everything you needed for meals. Only 1 chair in room- really needed 2. Staff helpful. Met out needs as we really just used it for sleep. Rug cleaning and maintenance scheduled while we were there. Had to pack up all our stuff and take it with us while they were cleaning as we didn’t have a scheduled time they would be in our room.

Cheaper lodging needs improvement

Worse coffee made by a coffee dispensary machine, old coffee cream powder packs that are so old that the powder caked up. No coffee filters or cream in the room. The dishwasher leaked water without use. Missing towels, no floor towel. Water pressure is lower than par. It's not a good valve.

Felt as comfortable as home!!

I do not travel much ,but this is what I would expect from a stay.

I love children but....

The hotel itself is wonderful.... but its a family oriented hotel with very thin walls and ceilings. I love children but i have none and dont wish to deal and hear them constantly while on vacation.

Tried to check in at 4:00pm( check in time). Was told room was not clean and would not be cleaned for at least 1-2 hours. When we returned to check in and was given key, the room was dirty and I called to ask for disinfectant wipes because I was discussed and wanted to clean it, only to be told they didn’t have any. Then found a dead cockroach. No pet park like was told their was one. The photos seen on line did not match room, it needs to be updated. The front desk help was the only good thing about this place..

Just What I Needed for a Business Trip

Location not the best visually. Public areas and shower head appeared tired and in need of renovation. Despite that first impression, the property was noticeably clean and everything in my room was new, maintained or in perfect working order. Even that ugly outdated showerhead provided fabulous water pressure and the room was perfectly comfortable and I appreciated the brand new coffee pot, ironing board and the spacious, clean as a whistle refrigerator and freezer with an ice maker! HUGE! Bed was as comfortable as any in any luxury hotel and the staff could not have been better from check-in speed to accommodating requests. Beautifully surprised and would definately return.

Basically a no frills facility for people transitioning between permanentlodgings.

This hotel stay was for a family birthday party trip. The hotel room was spotless, I was surprised at the amenities such as all cooking supplies were included a nice bathroom a little office space, etc. It was very nice. The service was very nice people were friendly. I do not have one negative thing to say. We will be staying there again.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and attentive. When we had a request for something they were very responsive. We would definitely stay there again.

Housekeeping does not clean the rooms at all!! They make you take out your own garbage They do not change sheets or even make up the bed or replenish towels even when you leave the sign to replenish outside the door.horrible housekeeping

No chair in the room to eat, remote was chewed up with teeth marks form a dog and wasn’t working. Microwave keep shutting off when trying to use it

Our suite was clean and tidy and was exactly as depicted on line the bed was comfortable the kitchenette was perfect for us and all amenities functioned as they should have it was also nice and quiet surprisingly since the overnight parking lot was full stores are close by and short drive to the beach we are very satisfied and would definitely stay here again as an alternative to staying in Tampa

Nice and quiet hotel in a centralized location. Great for short and long term stay. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

I was told the hotel was in the process of upgrading areas inside and outside. One of the staff went above and beyond service standards to get me a recliner. All with a smile! THANK YOU. :) Most of the staff was gracious and helpful. The room was comfortable with all needs available.

It’s a nice place to stay but a little bit dingy. Had no issues other then going to lobby everyday because door key didn’t work. Cat feeding outside maybe further down or something not by door.

The hotel does a good job for the most part. Rooms are comfortable. There are a couple front desk persons that go above and beyond service standards. Both gentlemen did things for me and another guest that was very impressive. Kudos to both and thank you!

This property is a cheap dress on a pig, average-at-best renovation last round. Room cleanliness was okay but the bathroom REEKED of someone having chain-smoked 3 packs straight in there. Heat was inadequate for a cold night in central FL (42 deg. low); struggling HVAC unit could not get above 70 and blew cool air all night. Woke up with a head cold from sucking that air.

Room missing furniture. Stated new is on order. Damaged in storm is why. On second floor? Really no other resolution given. Limited items in kitchenette compared to Staybridge Suites, Other than these suggestions pleasant stay.

Clean hotel/ good value for a last minute soccer tournament where all of the close by hotels were either fully booked or way over priced. Easy drive around, clean and spacious room

So many bad reviews. Let me tell you, my wife and I are very picky , this place had big rooms with full on cooking equipment. Nice staff , good overall. Not as bad as most reviews are stating.

Clean room and comfortable bed

Surprisingly delightful!

Quiet, comfortable and clean. This chain knows what’s important. The lobby was stark, but the rooms are lovely, with a long, sweeping work desk and everything you need in a small apartment. Loved the cozy duvet! Appreciated the 24 hr quality coffee machine available in the laundry room.

My room was left in perfect condition and they still have yet to release my deposit and it’s been a month I’ve called everyone is there is rude

This hotel is close to many different attractions. The staff is very polite and friendly. The only downside was the smell of Mary Jane and panties in the hall way.

Did not feel safe. Guests appeared sketchy. Very sketchy. A lot of pets. Common areas stained. Room accommodations were good.

Needed a last minute room near Tampa and decided to go with this room. The area and facility might make you think the room wouldn’t be nice but the rooms were much different than the facility itself. Great stay with comfortable beds.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, but I noticed that the hallways could use more attention to cleanliness. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, a great experience, but a little more focus on tidiness would elevate it further!

Check-in was the worst. The guy was super rude and I had no idea what I was even being charged. The lady at the front desk is wonderful!!! The room was dirty but the bed was clean. The TV took awhile to warm up to show a clear picture. The dog area is cool and extremely clean!! I felt really bad though because people's rooms face it so their dogs were losing it lol Overall I felt unsafe but everything was fine. It was nice having the kitchenette but I would trade it for free breakfast. Rooms need a huge renovation as there's gaps in the walls, broken tiles, etc. Location was good, price was okay, and it'll do in a pinch.

It’s an Ok place in a pinch

Hotel is ok at best. It’s a bit run down on the inside. It seemed to also have some permanent residents, but I did consider the hurricanes that came through. I’m not a fan of smelling everyone’s cooking either as you walk down the halls. Since every room has a kitchen, it’s a bit overwhelming. Never felt unsafe and my side of the hotel was quiet for the most part. The guy who checked me in was very polite and answered questions about the area.

Okay but not worth the price

There's construction going in the rooms so has a weird chemical smell. The ac was not enough to cool down the suite. Our room needed a full clean down. Still dust & particles from work being done. This hotel has potential but the front desk staff were a little rude making it not a great stay.

would overall give the hotel four stars! smelled clean, looked very clean- just a few amenities unavailable due to the storm (tv channels) but overall very pleased.

Pleasant surprise in bathroom shower.

We enjoyed our stay the accommodations were great and staff was friendly even had dog treats at the front lobby. The soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers in shower were a nice touch.
