We were there for a festival, no hot water and had issues with our bathroom. No housekeeper available garbage all along the hallways. They can do better.

The General Manager and staff are rude, nosy, unprofessional and unorganized people. They let anyone and everyone touch the mail from kitchen staff to guests. They send guests mail back that they know are residing there if they have a dislike for you. I wouldn’t recommend this place

There was no hot water for shower at night. We moved to three different rooms but NO hot water. And they have no one to check on the issues. But 8am, the hot water is back on. I want a refund

Room needs some renovations, elevators were old and musty, ants were crawling on wall near garbage on the 5th floor. The people with dogs need to control them better.

Good place to stay for yourselves or with families

I enjoyed this more than the regular Sonesta hotel. I had way more space and had no carpet, which was a plus!

Dated and stained

This hotel was horrible. The Outside and Lobby look good. But the rooms were horrible. They were stained extremely bad. I understand a place being dated but clean is still expected.

The hotel and room was clean, but in very poor condition. The couch was broken. The bathroom door did not lock. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash device was broken and missing everything except Shampoo. Only 1 garbage can for the entire suite. The toilet was leaking and left a puddle on the floor. Desperately needing some updates and repairs for this room.

Extra charges when checking out. Predatory billing.

Spacious and comfortable, very nice staff

I rented a room for 5 people. The rooms are spacious. I loved having a kitchen and being able to prepare meals. I did not like the beds because my sons are really tall and could not fit two of them in one bed. Beds seem to be full size instead of Queen size. The hotel has a laundry, I loved that but one of the dryers kept taking my coins and stopped working. Good thing after a few attempts I got refunded. My sons wanted to use the pool, me the hot tub, but those were not working. That was a downside. The cleaning staff and the staff at the breakfast restaurant are extremely kind and hardworking people. I admire the way they put effort into their work. The managers were amazing and the team at the reception area. I had a few situations with over charging my card, but the managers explained what happened and got everything straighten out. We had a situation in the room with the A/C for a few days. Thank God they gave us a new room. My youngest was getting sick because of the humidity and me too. The new room was a bit smaller than the first one but we were comfortable. We had a good time even though there were some things going on. Glad everything got fixed. Our pet had a good time as well!

Horrible experience!

There was DOG POOP that remained on the hallway floor for hours, which we reported. The room smelled like urine & we called to have the bathroom cleaned, but no one came the first 2 times. After the 3rd call & complaint, we finally were able to get staff to clean the bathroom. This hotel has become VERY RUNDOWN & unappealing. I will NOT be returning.

The large grounds around the property. Security needs enhancement, lower level exit door sometimes unsecured. Rooms are not evenly furnished but spacious.

Wonderful Time!

This was my second time at this facility. I enjoyed the close proximity to the interstate and friendly staff. The location is great as it is walkable to shopping and restaurants. Will book again.

there was a man that was behaving a tad and the gentleman working the front desk at breakfast handled it very calm and carefully and should be commended for that. cause that guy was very rude and inconsiderate to everyone at breakfast otherwise this hotel was just great and i would return

Nice stay

Great customer service. Very friendly staff. The hotel needs a lot of renovations. The room was very spacious and had a great view.

Fine to stay a course days but it is an older hotel. Expect it to be outdated. The lobby is nice the rooms not so much.

Five star facility for reasonable price.

Staff was not unfriendly but not friendly either. The property hallways smelled terrible and had holes im the walls that clearly werent fixed properly. Other than the lobby the whole hotel was dirty and poorly kept up with. It is pet friendly which is why I stayed here while evacuating FL for a hurricane otherwise I would not recommend at all.

Booked a siute for 2 nights got there was told no clean rooms booked way in advance but had to find another place to stay.

Allows pet so you can smell the odor at times. They don’t clean the rooms until you leave.

The property grounds is nice,seems to be in a safe area.Pictures online of the rooms must've been taken a Long time ago.We were given a room on "T" floor,code for lower level,past the pool and gym,and a maze route to the room.Stale smell in the hall was a hint.We wanted a room with a cooking kitchen given the time restraints of our trip. Kitchen Not fully equipped, beginning with the lack of a coffee pot. No wash clothes,soap,shower jell,.air condition worked,was turned down ,so the room was freezing! No bedding for the couch,phone doesnt work, TV remote broken,etc.As we discovered things,we contacted the front desk.After having to call twice,the worker snapped at us,stating," why did you not ask for everything at once'? Returned additional finds with a frown,and clear annoyance.Great breakfast and the single worker was extremely kind. Opened the drawer,saw rat droppings!!A dead roach in bathroom,The device that suppose to hold the shapoo,etc broken.I will attempt to download pictures.A very horrible experience in such a nice part of town.

Let me put it this way…we checked in then shortly after checked out. The room was filthy! Don’t be fooled by the renovated lobby. Don’t waste your time or money. Stay somewhere else!

I will come back. The facility though has cable tv and sometimes one just wants to watch you-tube, or Netflix

No god even expedia

We didn't got the suite room type we booked but instead given a double bed room, and 2 people had to sleep on the floor. When asked for an extra pillow and rolling cart, the front desk refused. On the second day, they moved us to a king suite room but half of our day was ruined just waiting on getting the room keys. The only good thing about hotel is having front desk personnel's Daisy, Gia and the house keeping lady Ophelia (these three were nice). All the inconvenience at the hotel made our trip to Atlanta as horrible and waste of money and time.

We was awaken with a bang on our door by security telling us we we owe 400 plus and made us feel like we were not paid up to date. The elevator did not work, knowing my husband had leg issues, such an inconvenience. Then the dining was not good. The breakfast was very good .My husband should have been offered a wheel chair. Just that banging on the door! Banging! Banging! The bed sheets were dirty the first day . Instead of saying we will change the room she said , let me call housekeeping, Housekeeping had to come in , the stove was cracked, no microwave above the stove had to use a small cheap microwave. The couch was torn up, pullout bed was so uncomfortable . It is so loud , the halls smell like weed, you can see towels under ppl door. So many security officers . The front desk was very helpful every last one of them . I know they are remolding but some things are not due to remolding.

Beautiful Hotel

Sonesta Suites ES is a very beautiful Hotel. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. It is located convenient to a Diner and Gas Station. The room was very clean. The only 2 qualms I had were:(1) The shower water was only lukewarm and (2) Housekeeping comes every 4th day. I had to keep inquiring about fresh towels and washcloths. Other than that everything was great! I would definitely stay again!

Not a good stay my room was very old and dated. Pictures are not what the room looked like. The pullout bed was broken called front desk no pne showed up so first night kids had to make a pallet on floor the next day i spoke with front desk lady she was very sweet she sent maintenence and he ziptied it . The springs started coming off when they laid down so pallet a second night. Very disappointed in this stay

The thing I didn't like was that when you entered the room it smell like cigarettes.

The elevator had people lurking around it and following me, I was there for business. I chose to use the stairs and it smelled like urine. The room was clean. The TV malfunctioned and the thermostat was quite unstable. It was hard to get comfortable.

The rooms could be updated and the smell in the basement (my room was there) is horrible. The breakfast bar was good. I stopped by around 1, check in was at 4. I came in to check on something. They knew I was in town but my room wasn’t ready till almost 7. They were not done cleaning.

Rude still repeatedly charge card at night time when sleep. Then called me rudely after me checking out the room to tell me to check out asking me to leave property after we had check out and was yelling at me.

I do not like the smoking inside the elevator and the rooms Dogs all over the place. I got allergic.

Room i was given has terrible bathroom, pool was dirty front desk was not quick to respond!

Didn’t receive the room I booked. They down graded me to a king bed no suite when I ordered 1 bedroom suite with double beds. No compensation for the down grade. The bathroom towel hanger was broken. Lights were flickering and some not working.

The room photo was not what we booked. It showed a room with a separate bedroom. This was not the room we were given. The hotel is older and in need of repair. For some reason the carpet in our hall was always wet. They placed a fan in the hall in attempt to dry it, but it always seemed wet. Hard to describe but there was some definite sketchiness.

Very clean and large room. Sevice center very kind but we can't chenk in 3pm because they not clenched. They said after 6pm possible check in. So we have to wait until 6pm. Only problems that's all. But very clean and nice services.

at first, we felt terrible chemical smell, almost equipments in the gym were too worn and some were broken so I couldn't excercise there. many things look very old in the bathroom and bedroom.

Decent place with comfy beds

Overall it's a good property. Close by to a lot of Asian restaurants. The interior was ok, the carpet and bathroom was sorta dirty but the furniture, bed, sheets, and towels were clean. We made use of the kitchen which provided basic things (good enough if you're making ramen and eggs). I will say the beds were the most comfortable thing. Everyone in my family can agree to that!

The older lady checked everyone in, probably just needs the day off. I started the counter twice for over 10 minutes with no acknowledgment

Swimming pool was dirty and did not re open for 8 days, rooms and hallways smelled weed smoke and garbage

Pool was disgusting!! Green with things floating on top. Ice maker in room did not work and there was none on my floor even though there was a sign saying that there was. The other rooms kitchen is literally next to the beds in adjoining room and was very loud and can hear everything being said and done.

Hope you don’t want any extra towels, someone to answer the front desk phone, any help anywhere, because it’s not going to happen there.

The hotel overall was as expected. Staff was courteous & effective. We loved the furniture & cleanliness of the room. However, we stayed in room T30 with patio - we were disappointed at the lack of upkeep in that area. The patio pad & privacy fence was full of black mold. All that's needed is a good powerwashing & I would gladly stay here again.

I reserved and prepaid for a 1 bedroom with a King bed and full kitchen in a separate room. At check-in they said they don't have the room available that I already paid for. They said my only options were to take a smaller room that is a studio not a 1 bedroom, or take room with 2 queen beds. I asked for a partial refund since I paid more to have a bigger room that would have been twice the size of the room they were now offering me! I need a King bed so I had to take a smaller room but could not get any refund.This was a terrible experience and I will never return, the hotel has no customer service and they didn't care at all.

This hotel was conveniently located near the venue we were going to. They were under staffed and never answered the phone when I called but the staff was nice. The starbucks is limited and the room are very out dated. The breakfast could be better as well. I did see that they were about to receive some much needed renovations so that will help.

Great rooms!

As soon as I opened the door, a foul stench took over my nose. The sink was dirty. And there is no soundproofing at all. You can hear dogs barking, babies crying, running and screaming. We visited in June, but we still haven't received our deposit back, and when we called to inquire, they just hung up on us with an unfriendly tone.

Total CATFISH. Don’t waste your time or money. The outside and the Lobby of the hotel look beautiful but as soon as you leave the lobby the truth sets in. It STINKS, everything is old and dated, my room smelled awful. There’s a dirty hand print on the chair in my room, there’s cigarette burns on the furniture…this place looked NOTHING like the photos. The only good thing that I have to say is that the front desk staff was very nice. That’s it.

This visit was bitter sweet. Convenient for my needs in regards to location but rooms were smelly and old looking in certain ones. I booked rooms for six guest and we had to switch rooms twice. There was a strange pet urine smell inside and the bathroom wall of one room was moldy and crumbling. 2nd room had the same smell as the other just more intense. Carpet on Sonesta ES side was so run down and smelled of trash in the hallways. Breakfast was good. Service was pleasant, but the smell was offsetting every time we entreated the room. That would have to be my biggest complaint

Was not happy with the overall experience of the stay. The hotel itself is nice and could have potential but service and staff need help. Booked my stay online and paid ahead of time but once arrival, room was not available. Was asked to come back 1 hour later. Came back 1 hour later, room was still not available. Had no choice to get dressed in lobby bathroom for event. After event I called in to see if room was ready, and was but once arrived at hotel, the staff decided to change one of my rooms even though I paid ahead of time and was never asked to receive a discount for downgrading to a smaller bed. You could tell the rooms were rushed to be clean and room did not have enough towels or sheets.

This was the worst hotel i have EVER stayed and will never stay again. I booked a one bedroom king for 4 days and house keeping never came not even once. The first day i went to complain and was told the policy is every 3 to 4 days they service rooms. We had to take out our own trash and change our own towels n shhet the entire stay. The hotel after the front entrance is entirely dated and smells. Our floor smell like a fish market the entire stay. And then it started to mix with smoke as well. The furniture was horrible and hard. So uncomfortable. Pillows on bed were the worst. I had no good night sleep. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!. Even the staff when i was checking out agreed with us and said the policy changes post pandemic make the hotel not worth staying.

Literally would never ever stay at this hotel again. The only reason it’s getting a 2-star is because of the front desk person and how bad they felt. I was checking in which took 1 hour because they only had 1 person working and there was a huge line. I go up to my room and it is TRASHED. Blankets bundled up in a big ball on the bed, trash on the floor, lamp on the couch, slits in the couches, and trash on the carpet in living space. I booked the suite because I was going to be here for a while for business. I took pictures, went downstairs and the front desk lady felt horrible. She called housekeeping and they said “we didn’t know” and then took another 45 minutes to get a room. Then, I got a room and it was downgraded from what I had. I didn’t feel like fighting it again. I went to tell the front desk lady in the morning and she said let’s move you. I said it’s fine I don’t want to put you through a hassle but after 3 hours of a dog barking and people pulling on my door handles and making me feel unsafe she moved me to the other side of the hotel. After that move, my last 3 days were safe and comfortable. What a huge difference in rooms and accommodations. Please be aware if you are booking Sonesta suites or Sonesta whatever the other one is because you WILL notice a huge difference.
