Absolutely loved our stay at Solana Beach Hotel! The staff is just fantastic, friendly and very attentive! Only suggestions are to have more bins around to leave rubbish and the toilet would benefit a fresh coat of paint.

Bad experience

Very bad experience not clean I left the hotel after 3 night. Not a 4 stars

Fab location,majority of staff were pleasant.Property while fine,could really do with a bit of a revamp/renovation.strange system of having to sign random receipts even when all-inclusive(no bands?).Request if a late check out from 11am-2pm was met with a ‘nominal charge’ of 110€,even though we were already entitled to all inclusive until 3pm (and property was certainly less than 50% occupied),really let them down imo,and wouldn’t endear me to book again I’m afraid

Great hotel

A really nice and quiet hotel. Lots of sunbeds available so you dont have to race to reserve one in the morning. The views from the bedroom are absolutely unmatched as well. Ghey clean yhe rooms twive a day, once after breakfast and again at 7pm which was a bit unnecessary since most people are getting ready for dinner around 7pm. Food at the main restaurant was very good, especially the grilled fish which was fresh and delicious. The only downside i found was that they tried to upsell you to do their paid dinner meal experiences every single day. Normally they would come to your table either at lunch or breakfast trying to sell you the dinner experience. They were lovely and not pushy at all but felt a bit unnecessary. Overall, the hotel was really good value for money.

There were a lot of hidden costs even if you were “all inclusive”. When issues brought up to management they were very helpful and accommodating

Awful, dirty hotel - looks nothing like pictures

Hotel was so awful and dirty that we decided not to stay. The beach and hotel look nothing line the pictures. We were told by the manager that every day they have complaints about the cleanliness and hotel not looking like the pictures but they still have bookings (I assume not repeat!). The whole attitude was that he didn’t care. Please book elsewhere, a holiday to Mauritius is a wonderful experience and staying here will ruin it.

Excellent. Staff great, friendly, approachable and professional. Food was good, buffet style, ate too much ! Beautiful walks along the coast. Not hassled by anyone, just walked for miles. Evening entertainment, leisure staff cheerful and energetic. All good, loved our three week stay.

Great stay. Huge bedrooms with comfortable beds. Staff were lovely. Stayed all inclusive, but some drinks and restaurants not included.

Cannot fault the staff and service. As a small hotel there was only one restaurant, however was a really good selection. Public transport from the hotel was non existent, however taxis were readily available, and no shops or restaurants etc near by. A small town wasn’t far away in a taxi. I appreciate this ain’t the fault of the hotel!

Staff were so friendly, room was nice but needed painting and only one plug worked! Lots of rocks to get into the sea. Drivers are nutters. Long transfer and to get anywhere takes hrs on trips

To start with the rooms are modern, clean and vibrant with the most incredible ocean views. Awful hotel certainly not a 4 star. Dirty walls in room, sockets hanging off the wall, broken balcony door, ceiling light hanging out in the bathroom. No light in the shower. Dark and smelly room Carried my own luggage to the room as the porter took so long. Lunch and breakfast was awful but the NYE gala dinner was nice. Avoid the property

The location, beach and facilities were the best features of the hotel. We had breakfast only and it was great but when we enquired re lunch and dinner, the cost was ridiculous so had to eat out which was limited due to the location. We had a daily phone call or visit re service or needs which was lovely and unique, good attention to customer care. One area of improvement would be to have consistency of communication between staff. There seemed to be poor communication between staff which resulted in disputes and confusion.

A little in need of investment.

We had a very enjoyable stay and it’s in’s beautiful location. It does feel a bit tired and in need of some updating. As a result it doesn’t really feel 4* in all honesty. But a very enjoyable time all the same.

Surprisingly disappointed

The Good! The view from the sea view rooms are spectacular and every meal I had was actually quite good. From both the buffet and the bar. Now the disaster. Upon arrival I was assigned to a room that had a horrible smell. Reception sent maintenance to inspect. Three different people came, acknowledged the smell, searched the room but determined there was nothing they could do but mop the floor and spray perfume. I left the room for hours to see if the smell would disappear. I returned that evening and turned on the AC so i could sleep.Imagine the torture of waking up in the middle of the night to the horrible smell yet again!! First thing in the morning back to reception. This time I get a manager who said he would look into the situation. He did, apologized , and assigned me to a new room. In was suppose to pack and call for assistance to the new room. Well surprise surprise the phone in that room didn't work. I walk to the front desk and explain the situation. The manager was gone and the front desk staff just handed me a key and never looked up from her work. No can we help you find your new room, no let us help you carry your luggage down two flights of stairs and up three flights in a different building. Absolutely nothing. I move on and hope for a better day. I notice that my shower is missing a door and a handle but I don't think much of it until its time to bath. I turn the shower on and water shoots out of the handheld head. I try and turn the main head on and ima

The property is old and rundown and while some staff are very sweet…for the most part I felt very ignored and that they were too busy to even bother engaging with me whatsoever. I had dinner one night and was told I needed to wait for a table despite it being a buffet style while other guests just walked in and were sat right away. I ate my whole meal before I was even offered a drink. The housekeepers were good but the rooms are dated and the decks all around the pool and bar area are hazardous. The planks move up and down from rot and it all needs to be replaced. Their all inclusive system is time wasting even though certain things are included you still get a bill and have to sign for everything down to a bottle of water. Waste of time and paper. Overall worst hotel stay I’ve ever had avoid this place. I have also never given a hotel a bad review and I’m not someone who complains about little things. However, overall my experience here was not good.

We have spent 7 beautiful days at solana beach. If you are looking for somewhere quiet with great sea view rooms and beautiful sea, solana it the right place for you. The Staff has been friendly and helpful to other all our requests. It has been a pleasure. The buffet was also good, with different style of food every night. Thank you

The staff were generally very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast staff were a little undirected in continually asking me for my room number when I had given it before sitting down and then allocated a table? I particularly recommend Khushboo who is a credit to Solana, pleasant and smiling but she is efficient and covers for some of her teammates. Don’t want to dwell on negatives but there were tiny ants around the fridge bar that made their way to my laptop, all the towels smell of acetic acid or similar and the shower leaks onto the floor very badly.

We had a lovely stay. Staff, food, room were excellent. Easy reach to local shopping area. Breathtaking view and the room was majestic.

Had a 10 day stay at Solana Beach - lovely and peaceful, directly on its own beach, accessed mostly via steps (but also via a slope at the far left side) with sun loungers on the higher grassed levels outside the room blocks as well as the beach. Grounds are well kept and very appealing to relax in. It is a quiet area so have to travel to explore. There are 3 restaurants (1x buffet and 2x a la carte) and 2 bars with areas to sit and relax. Rooms are spread over three floors (no lifts to upper floors) and are spacious and comfortable. All have beautiful sea views, comfortable beds, wardrobe, safe, mini bar (chargeable), air conditioning and tea/coffee making facilities. Bathrooms have good showers, with rainfall and handheld heads and separate WC's, some also with a bidet. Small complimentary bottles of some toiletries are provided. Rooms are cleaned daily. Staff are welcoming, friendly and happy to help. There is an air-conditioned gym, with a small selection of cardio and resistance machines as well as weights. Ylang Spa has a broad range of services and the therapists really know what they are doing (Nemisha is great). Guest can use the sauna and steam rooms free of charge however pre-booking is required. Beach activities are available on site, some are free but some are chargeable. Hotel is near Belle Mare village with a few shops and small supermarket (can be accessed via the beach but finding where to leave the beach is hard - so walk through the park instead).

A warm place to spend some days in a private and romantic place. The sea may be a bit rough at times compared to the west coast.

Great value for money, pleasant staff but does need some renovating properly not just repaint. The views and beach are stunning.

It was a good place with a bunch of activities

Wonderful stay

The resort is perfect! Especially as it is adults only. I was a single woman and experienced absolutely no unwanted attention from staff. The staff went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. The only warning I would single out is that the beach and sea are littered with broken off pieces of coral. So you need plastic shoes if you want to go swimming in the sea. There is a pool if that is more your style. I had an unfortunate accident while there, and the staff could not have been more caring.

The resort was fantastic until last day when i had a fall and they sent me to hospital. Turned out it was to make money from me when my wife returned to collect baggage she was charge for using the mini bar even thought she was with me at the hospital all day and we had all inclusive package. The receptionist was just making it up to charge us. So as lovely as the hotel is I would urge you to select another place with staff who are not out to ripe you off

Lovely hotel. Only issue was as a solo traveller I was made to feel a bit odd. Numerous times staff asking why I was alone, if I was single, where my wife was etc? Sometimes shouting it across a full restaurant. Seemed a bit odd. I was there for 2 nights after being in Mauritius for work,

The location for the beach and snorkelling was excellent, some of the best on the island. The gardens and their maintenance was beautiful. The resort property itself was a bit dated (clearly been updated on the cheap - painted tiles etc. ) and things weren’t repaired quickly. The breakfast was good, but we were SO pleased we didn’t go for half board or all inclusive as the evening meal and service was very poor. Also, AI supplement prices were added to most things. Would have felt very cheated by this option. Avoid and go B&B for a perfectly pleasant stay.

I loved my stay at Solana. The staff were so friendly and helpful with all my queries. The rooms are lovely, the beachfront was so clean and stunning. The beaches aren't overpopulated and are very quiet. The food and drink served in the hotels at this resort was delicious. There are water sports activities like a glass bottom boat tour, snorkelling, kayaking, parasailing which are included in your room booking (no additional cost). Massage was very nice, spa amenities were great. Will definitely stay here again!

Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Staff’s are very unfriendly. Doesn’t know what is hospitality means. Paid $200 per night for a room but they don’t even provide a bottle of water or complementary coffee. My friend’s room had a very bad smell and they didn’t do anything. Stay away from this.

Amazing place and well worth visiting for a relaxing break. Only draw back was the fact that the all inclusive option is not really all inclusive as advertised

Waking up by sound of the sea and being so so close to the turquoise sea.

Excellent facilities, the dining options are endless and the food is superb, excellent management, and great staff ready to make your stay memorable. will definitely come back!!!

Solana Beach stay

the stay was good however the entertainment at the resort was limited. Everything was an added extra and the costs where ridiculous for most things. Things like tray charge for room service etc should not be charged. Room service is a benefit of any resort. This resort wanted to charge me for bringing ice to my room...ridiculous Breakfast options was limited.

Average stay

Jnr suite room was okay but not the same as advertised on internet. Their bed was uncomfortable with too much squeaking sound when you turn your body over. Cleaning was not up to standard. You wake up early and go for breakfast and swim but when you come back around 3pm room is still upside-down no cleaning done. On two occasions we had to ask broom from cleaning ladies and clean for ourselves as it was already around 4pm. Too many ants, aircon dirty with spider web. Thursday morning the was no hot water, we took cold bath. Jacuzzi bath was not working properly, when you open water it would spray water all over the bathroom. My wife had to use shower on a daily basis until our check out. Linen was only changed on Sunday night since we came on Wed. But we had pleasant stay and their food was okay. Maybe try to do steak and chips next time not cooked meat daily.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Solana. I didn’t get a friendly arrival from the front desk staff, however, housekeeping team, leisure team and the bar team made up for it and throughout my stay ensured I was catered for in every move I took. It was brilliant. They made my stay worth every minute. The food was outstanding, the drinks were refreshing. A special thank you to Chris Carpen, Ravi, Dominic, Mackline, Veena and Jayson who played a huge role. My room was spotlessly clean. The balcony view of the beach was breathtaking. The location of the hotel was easy to find. You won’t be disappointed if you were to visit Solana!

Great place to stay, good food, clean rooms but needs better cocktails 😉

Lovely location and nice beach, quiet and beautiful. Rooms are large nice and clean and are a great value for Money. The downside for me is the service. 1) I asked an iron to iron a shirt and got told that they do not offer iron to customers and I need to pay the dry clean 2) No water in room you need to buy bottles. 3) A freind wanted to visit me and the reception before letting him in asked me : Is he here to consume/buy something? I found it very rude and inappropriate. 4) TV system is not good

Amazing and unforgettable holiday

The place is clean, nice garden well kept, the staffs always helpful with a beautiful smile, the food amazingly delicious. Love the cocktails, our room had a beautiful view of the beach, which was very clean and well maintained. I will definitely going back for another peaceful memorable holidays, humongous thank to the management and staffs

I'm not a resort person so it's difficult to rate one. All the guests were happy and very comfortable. The Indian food was delicious and the water boat putting for snorkeling a lot of fun (included in the price).

We wish we could have stayed longer! Staying at Solana Beach was paradise and we would definitely recommend it to anyone. Staff are lovely and helpful and the hotel facilities are clean and well maintained. The food was delicious with a wide variety to choose from. All round a 10/10 experience.

Room was good clean. Service around the Hotel was good most staff were helpful and friendly. Would benefit from hand sanitizer in the Restaurant areas.

Not a 4star hotel

First off, there’s no parking in the small parking area, so one guard told me to leave the Solana Beach hotel area and go outside to park at the “villa area”. It’s all back streets and other hotels after I exited and follow his directions. Nothing came up. Came back and one guest was leaving, so I’m about to park at the now empty spot, then two guards came out and told me to “listen carefully and I need to go park at the other section outside of the hotel”. I pointed out why can’t i just park here at the open one? This guy had the guts to tell me that the other guest will be coming back and I can park elsewhere it would be the same for me and that I can’t park at that open spot because I “didn’t” pay for parking. Well I clearly did because all rooms came with FREE PARKING. Anyways, then they wanted me to add 100 euro at the beginning for my mom who’s schedule changed and is now checking in with me at the hotel. After some negotiation it went to 60 euros additional. Breakfast is very bland, nothing much to choose from, so many ants in the room, pool isn’t next to the ocean and I would not stay again.

Overall OK, but misleading hotel video on website

The hotel overall was OK. Breakfast was good. View from room was excellent, directly on the beach. Location is OK as well. One important thing is that the hotel video on the hotel website shows places that are not in the hotel itself, but rather a 30 minute drive away. I decided to book this hotel based on that video, and under the impression that the scenes they showed in the video was all in the hotel. For example, the video shows scenes from "Ile aux cerfs" which is an island around a 20 minute drive and another 20 minute boat ride. By watching the video you get the impression that those scenes are inside the hotel itself, which is not true and misleading.

Small, family friendly hotel with lovely staff.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and evening buffet with lots of choice and high standard. Great beach view from dining room and bedroom. We had a deluxe room and it was great, huge bed, lovely feel, fridge, shower, ground floor veranda with access to beach. The only down sides were that the beach had quite a lot of coral and lots of rocks in places, although at the end around the rocks were some gorgeous shallow waters. Also the swimming pool is not new and could do with updating. We hired a car and accessed lot of other great beaches so it wasn't a problem for us. Also great value for money, thank you Expedia for our amazing deal!!!

Mon séjour était parfait

I would not recommend this hotel. This is not a 4-star hotel. The property is super old and desperately requires reconstruction. Room was not clean and everything was old and damaged. Worst thing is that you are on an exotic island and they do not provide water and instead you have to buy. I got complimentary water after I complained. I had half board and many things were not included - this includes basics which is not clearly explained on the web page. Good things were: nice beach, some water activities are included for free such as kayak.

Sehr schönes Hideaway Hotel zum Relaxen direkt am Strand Wir hatten ein tolles Zimmer mit Meerblick, die Anlage war sehr gepflegt und bot einen sehr schönen Pool mit Poolservice, WLAN war überall sehr gut verfügbar. Das Gym bot alles für eine gute sportliche Einheit. Auch die Massage im Wellness Bereich des Hotels waren ausgezeichnet. Beeindruckend war insbesondere die ausnahmslose Freundlichkeit des Personals. Hier kommen wir gerne nochmal her.

We had a lovely stay at Solana! The staff is very friendly and helpful. They organized a candlelight dinner at the gazebo by the beach for us which was a wonderful experience! Clean room with an amazing view. But as most hotels, the bed was a bit too hard for our taste. Food at the buffet is varied and tasty. But if you want better seafood you have to book for a la carte and pay a little extra, even with the all inclusive package. Perfect place if you just want some peace and quiet to relax. But if you want to explore the island and have excursions I would rather recommend a hotel on the west coast. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Für einen sehr günstigen bis günstigen Preis eine Empfehlung. Jedoch nicht wenn es DER URLAUB werden soll. Die Lage ist Top und jedes Zimmer hat Meerblick. Vor 20 Jahren wäre es eine Empfehlung gewesen. Leider hat man den Eindrück Haus und Service sind stehen geblieben. Sauber ja, aber bitte keine Straßenkatzen und Spatzen im Speisesaal. Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, aber guter Service ist es wenn auch der letzte am Abend das gleiche geboten bekommt wie der erst und das ist leider nicht der Fall. Auch die Aufmerksamkeiten die ein guter Services ausmacht sind bei einzelnen Vorhanden aber in der Summe eben nur freundlichen und hilfsbereit. Wecker braucht man nicht da ab 8 Uhr das Hausmädchen seine Arbeit anfängt und ab 9 kommt der Gärtner mit dem Laubbläser. Da ist alles okay aber nicht gut...

Ein schönes Hotel.

Surpris, l'hôtel nous a coûter plus chère que ce qui étais prévue sur Expedia juste parce que le paiement c'est fait en espèce et en euro. Pour ce qui est du restaurant le personnel au service vraiment top mais le buffet lui même du cinnamon vraiment pas top et ne fais pas d'effort pour ce calé sur le nombre d'étoiles de l'hôtel sinon agréable séjour là bas a renouveler.

Un petit coin de paradis. Emplacement parfait pour visiter l’île. La formule All Inclusive offre un large choix de nourritures et boissons diverses. Repas à thème différent chaque soir. Personnel d’une extrême gentillesse. Je recommande chaleureusement.

Très beau hôtel pour adultes (tranquillité) avec toutes les chambres vue mer. Le personnel est attentionné ; la restauration est très correcte avec un grand choix de plats ; les chambres sont spacieuses et l'hôtel est très propre... Il faut prévoir de chaussures pour se déplacer dans l'eau car il y a beaucoup de coraux mais l'avantage c'est qu'il y a beaucoup de poissons à admirer en snorkeling... Je recommande !!!

A NICE HOTEL IN A BEAUTY AREA

Although the hotel required general maintenance, the rooms, common areas, and beach were impeccably clean. With all rooms boasting sea views and the beach itself being pristine, it provided an idyllic setting. Moreover, the sea was crystal clear, making it perfect for snorkeling. However, the main restaurant and open buffet would benefit from improved hygiene practices among both staff and guests. Would I return? Why not…

Sehr schönes Hotel um zu entspannen und die Natur zu geniessen. Unser Zimmer war wunderbar, überdurchschnittlich gross und schön. Sauberkeit war okay für mauritianische Verhältnisse. Viele Aktivitäten sind umsonst und sehr empfehlenswert, zum Beispiel das Schnorcheln: das Korallenriff am Hotelstrand ist wie überall an den Stränden leider tot, man fährt dann mit dem Boot weiter raus und sieht sehr schöne Korallen und Fische. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig, kein Lärm. Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Essen war etwas enttöuschend, da wir Vegetarier sind waren unsere Optionen eher beschränkt. Alle "Spezial"-Abendessen waren mit Fleisch und Fisch, beim Buffet (Cinnamone Restaurant) gibt es einige vegetarische Optionen. Schade, dass die Massage- und Spa-Preise so hoch sind, da komme ich zum Teil in der Schweiz noch günstiger weg. Die Umgebung der Hotels hat nicht wirklich etwas tolles zu bieten, man sollte sich also darauf einstellen, die Zeit im Hotel zu verbringen (was gut passt, wenn man Entspannungsurlaub geplant hat). Nach Belle Mare kann man spazieren in ca. 30min, da darf man aber keine Liegen nehmen da alle den Hotels gehören. Am Strand hinlegen ist aber überall möglich. Das Hotel wirkt ausserdem sehr sicher mit 24/7 Security. Wir würden das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Hotellet har några år på nacken men är fräscht och rent. Vi hade bokat ett Prestigerum som vi är väldigt nöjda med och varje kväll knackade personalen på dörren och undrade om vi saknade något. Vi hade endast bokat frukost och åt middag på Solana några gånger och ibland på den indiska restaurangen som ligger utanför hotellet vilken är billigare. Finns inte så mycket att göra på kvällarna förutom hotellets show så man kommer tidigt i säng och kan börja dagen med en lång strandpromenad före frukosten. Ett tips är att välja Solana som är billigare än lyxhotellen runt om och lägga lite mer pengar på uppgradering av rummet. Då blir semestern bra!

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in Solana Beach Hotel. Was blieb in Erinnerung? Die nette Begrüßung, Zimmerservice Lolita immer sehr gut gelaunt und herzlich, die Boots Team immer hilfsbereit und gute Empfehlung an Patrice Delfine Tour 230 5 731-9698, sehr fleißiges Restaurant Team, die ihr bestes am Valentinstag gegeben haben : sehr leckere Gerichte und schön geschmückte Kulisse. Und natürlich das Indische Ozean vor der Tür und Zimmer mit Meerblick, einfach unvergesslich schön!

Had a great stay at Solana, friendly staff and good food. We didn’t have all inclusive and it was a bit confusing from time to time when ordering food and drinks. Rooms are nice decorated and comfortable. Pool area was great and the beach is so nice! Can highly recomend this place!

Unterkunft war gut auch wennn schon in die Jahre gekommen. Parkanlage sehr schön. Essen leider nicht so toll… alles fad und unschön angerichtet.

Les desserts n'étaient pas bons et pas variés. Un grand manque de fruits frais au petit-déjeuner et au dessert.

Les +: Beaucoup de végétation, on entend plein d’oiseaux toute la journée On voit l’océan de partout dans l’hôtel car il est tout en long Le buffet est bon Le personnel plutôt sympa sauf la responsable de l’animation (Mélanie) à qui on a écrit sur whatsapp pour faire des activités comme indiqué sur le programme mais qui nous a jamais répondu Les - La plage !! Il faut pas s’attendre à une grande et belle plage c’est tout petit (encore plus quand la marée remonte), 30 transat tous pris dès le matin par les gens qui posent leur serviette et de toute façon on peut quasiment pas se baigner devant l’hôtel il faut marcher 20mn pour aller sur la plage publique (qui est paradisiaque pour le coup) Chambre vieillotte, on a quasi pas de wifi dans la chambre (bloc 4) et la tv fonctionne mal Taches sur serviettes et rideaux Privilégier les chambres premium à l’étage sinon vous avez des gens qui passent devant votre bout de terrasse toute la journée

Personnel au restaurant pas au top mais le personnel de chambre est super! Menu pas très varié.

Das Hotel ist sauber und praktisch als Erwachsenenhotel. Der Strand ist klein aber man kann da liegen und ins Wasser. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich. Die schlechten Bewertungen können wir nicht nachvollziehen. Das Essen ist variabel und sehr gut, es wird immer auch frisch gebraten.

Good Service!

Pleasant hotel with excellent service. We have no complaints about the room, it was big and the bed was big and comfy. Private beach and the pool were beautiful. We as a couple didn't like the buffet style dinner so much, even though the food was good, the dessert was a disappointment.

Excellent séjour !

2ème fois au Solana et j'espère y revenir. Le personnel est accueillant et toujours disponible, le lieu très agréable car à taille humaine, le cadre magnifique, le buffet excellent. Et enfin, l'équipe d'animation est au top ! J'adore venir ici !!

Excellent splendide formidable

Je n’ai jamais séjourné de ma vie dans un hôtel aussi complet: entre beauté du lie, le paysage, le confort, la propreté, l’équipe mais aussi plein d’activités tous les jours à toutes les heures, notamment une équipe formidable. Pour le surf, le Snorkling . On vous propose cours de gym de yoga , apprentissage et tout cela inclu avec la réservation de la chambre . Eau vraiment turquoise et propre. Piscine. Restauration très variée et généreuse. Si vous voulez un plus à un prix très correcte : spa et massage par les sublimes mains de Netiré ? Je crois . Elle est très professionnelle

Great place to stay on the east coast

Gut - direkt am Strand mit Meeresblick - Gelände wird von mehreren Arbeitern gepflegt - Strand wird gesäubert (obwohl es immer noch genug Algen gibt) - Fitnessstudio mit mehreren Maschinen (aber kein Bankdrücken möglich) - sehr viel Auswahl beim Frühstück und Abendbrot - kostenloser Verleih von Kayaks, Tretbooten etc. Nicht so gut - es gibt keinen Busverkehr in der Nähe, sodass man jedes mal ein Taxi / Leihwagen nehmen muss, wenn man mal etwas anderes als am Strand liegen machen will - Linksverkehr (wie in England) ist sehr anstrengend Sonstiges - Katamarantour für ca. 100 EUR (2 Personen) ist sehr zu empfehlen (beim Bootsverleih des Hotels zu buchen) - Leihwagen kostet ca. 40-45 EUR/Tag zzgl. Spritkosten (wird zum Hotel gebracht)

Hôtel bien situé pour être au calme . Etablissement à taille humaine avec une ambiance reposante. La plage est belle et accessible à pied. L’hôtel est très bien entretenu. Une partie du personnel est très sympa et souriant. Mais certains membres du personnel ne disait jamais bonjour, ni même un sourire, notamment au bar. Les repas étaient corrects mais sans plus. Nous avons trouvé bizarre de devoir attendre plusieurs fois debout sans que l’on vienne nous accueillir pour nous mettre à la table. Nous avons vraiment apprécié le calme de l’hôtel. Il faut penser à mettre sur la poignée ne pas déranger car sinon même si la chambre est déjà faites ils rentrent dedans. Nous n’avons pas apprécié lors de notre note finale qu’il y avait une participation pour aider des mauriciens en difficulté. Le faite d’imposer sans même nous demander est une manière pas correct du tout. Nous avons donc refuser et nous avons du signer un papier comme quoi nous refusions. Étonnant…. Durant notre séjour de 3 semaines à l’île Maurice nous avons déjà pu être très généreux avec certains locaux, sans jamais que ça soit fait de cette manière. Nous retiendrons un très bon séjour au Solana beach.

Une superbe structure malheureusement un peu vieillissante, dû aux deux ans de confinements COVID.. Néanmoins les chambres sont propres et ont une vue extraordinaire sur le lagon !!, le ménage est fait tous les jours (sauf si vous faites la grasse matinée .. ). L'environnement et le parc de l'hôtel sont très bien entretenus, le personnel est formidable, souriant et à l'écoute. Un buffet sur un thème différent tous les soirs au restaurant principal. Pour les sportifs, les activités habituelles en journée ainsi qu'une salle de fitness bien entrentenue et pour les amateurs de soirées animées.., RDV à 21h : ) A noter que le premier village est à 30 mns à pied, accessible en longeant le lagon : ) ou en taxi (5 mns) depuis l'hôtel.

Schönes Hotel mit tollen Zimmern. Am Strand relativ viele Teile von Korallen. Nette Bars mit guten Cocktails. Preis okay. Personal sehr freundlich. Essen ist gut.

Ottima struttura, tutte le camere sono vista mare. Personale gentile e sempre disponibile. Le pulizie vengono fatte piu volte al giorno. Nel complesso. Ottimo!

L’hôtel est situé dans un village très paisible, peu de commerces et restaurants sont aux alentours, à distance de marche. De plus, la côte est est assez venteuse. Pour le reste, très bel hôtel convivial avec du personnel attentionnée, gentil et poli. On y mange vraiment bien, beaucoup de choix de qualité. Également plusieurs activités gratuites.

Das Solana Beach ist ein sehr schönes Hotel. Es ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber immer sehr sauber und eine wunderschöne Anlage. Chris ist ein super toller Mitarbeiter der uns sehr geholfen hat :-) wir mussten bis 14 Uhr auf unser Zimmer warten. In der Zeit hat er uns mit Kaffee und Wasser versorgt und sogar ermöglicht, das wir unser Zimmer schon um 13 Uhr beziehen können. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, allerdings war es uns im Osten teilweise etwas zu windig.

Il y a une erreur, il s'agit d'un 2* et non pas d'un 4* -Personnels attentifs, gentils et réactifs. Cependant la politique n'est pas en votre faveur. Nourriture très bas de gamme et répétitive. Commerciaux qui vous poussent à prendre des all inclusives pour 1700 euros pour 2 personnes sur 10 jours. (700 euros plus cher si nous l’avions sélectionné sur le site. Pour info, un repas en ville dans un bon restaurant c'est 10 euros) Prestation proposée à la tête du client. Racolage sur la plage pour divers activités ou pour achats de babioles. Notre chambre méritait un coup neuf. Parquet usé - salle de bain bricolé. Faux plafond qui s'est écroulé la nuit dans les WC. On aurait aimé que chaque serviette remplacée ne comporte pas de taches. Pourquoi mettre un jacuzzi non chauffé ? Seul le spa de l'hôtel propose des prestations de qualité. Il y a beaucoup mieux dans la région rien que dans la restauration. La plage est belle comme partout sur l'île. Pour se déplacer en dehors de l'hôtel, c'est en voiture / taxi uniquement.

Nous sommes arrivés à l’hôtel en compagnie d’un joli petit rat dans le hall d’entrée, ça annonçait déjà la couleur. On nous a ensuite attribué la chambre 1012, chambre qui est collée au bar et à la piste de danse, les murs tremblent jusqu’à 23h, chose qui nous a dérangé puisque nous habitons déjà en plein centre ville en France, et nous sommes venu ici pour le calme, loupé. Nous avons donc demandé à changer de chambre, celle ci est remplie de fourmis, la valise est infestée de fourmis, obligé de laver tout le linge à la main. Nous avons ensuite testé le spa, première fois très bien, seconde fois nous avons fait la connaissance d’un énorme cafard, qui vadrouiller tranquillement dans le sauna. Pas très agréable. La chambre avait une odeur d’égout, et d’humidité. Plusieurs matins le personnel de ménage sont venus frapper à la porte à 8h du matin pour savoir s’ils pouvaient faire le ménage, bien évidement la réponse est non. On ne tape à la porte d’un client à 8h du mat si on peut venir faire le ménage, ça ne se fait pas. On ne rigole pas non plus devant les porte des clients à haute voix à 7h30 avec ses collègues, surtout quand c’est pas la premières fois qu’on leur fait la remarque. On ne rentre pas non plus dans les chambre en tapant une fois à la porte sans réponse d’un client, surtout quand celui ci est tranquillement à la douche, quelle surprise de voir du personnel rentrer, et ce n’est pas arriver qu’une fois. Le buffet à volonté?Il faudrait varier tous les jours

Séjour au paradis

Très bel hôtel ! La vue des chambres sur la mer est paradisiaque . Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Solana. L’équipe d’animation avec Chris et Milena sont adorables et à l’écoute de nos envies . L’hôtel est un peu reculé de tout , il faut une voiture si on ne prend pas l’option all inclusive . Les restaurants de l’hôtel sont chers comparé au prix pratiqués sur l’île.
