I only stayed 24 hours at Soho House, Istanbul but enjoyed it so much that we did not leave the property. We had room service and ate dinner at Cecconis. Delicious and wonderful easy going service. All in all it was fantastic! I love SoHo House for its design - gorgeous colour palette, low lighting and thoughtful mix of textures & art. My room and bathroom were large, beautifully designed and very very relaxing. I have been to quite a few Soho Houses and I would say that Istanbul and Chicago are my favourites. I’ll definitely come back for longer next time! Thank you for the great experience & service.
A charming hotel located in one of the nicest areas in Istanbul!
It’s been 10 years since the opening and the place is a little run down.
super cool
Had a fabulous stay at Soho House, Istanbul. The room was comfortable and housed great amenities. The house itself was warm and inviting. Wonderful experience, overall.
Great service Room is old and dark Entire hotel is super dark
Beautiful hotel with a lovely relaxing vibe; perfect last night stay
This really isn’t a five star hotel, it is a mediocre lodging structure attached to a night club. Music was so loud at night that I could not fall asleep and it continued until 2 am. I was told that the same would happen the following nights of my stay. The staff offered me a set of earplugs or to move me to another room in the middle of the night. It isn’t what I expected paying over 500 USD per night. The hotel is dated, dark and the hallway (at least the third floor) smells. The bathroom has no room for even a small toiletries bag, you have to flush minimum two times and the seam between the shower wall and the floor had signs of mold. I’d most likely see more but the bathroom was very dark, partly because one sconce was not working. The furniture itself was dated, finish was coming off the big cabinet. The floor was worn out, again with discolored spots and chunks of wood missing (no, it was not deliberate antiquing, more signs of deliberate neglect). The overall aesthetic is supposed to be rather dim but when you have to use a flashlight to press the interior elevator buttons or see your face in the mirror, you know it goes too far). The neighborhood itself isn’t particularly glamorous although there are some good restaurants nearby and you can walk to the Galata Tower. Aside from that, it’s a bit noisy. Some positives: the staff allowed me to leave after one night (I made a mistake to book it for three). This was the first time ever I cut my stay short anywhere
The bar next door plays trash techno until 3am, and I'm pretty sure the resturant made me sick. Pretty hotel though.
A mixed bag. Great-looking place and a wonderful staff. But the music from the club next door was so loud I had to sleep with earplugs (even then I could hear the beat). The halls are so dark you need a light to see the room numbers. Reading lamps over the bed have to be maneuvered so you don't whack your head getting into or out of bed. The design of the place sometimes takes precedent over practicality or comfort.
The ambience of the hotel was very nice but the small of cigarette smoke in the bedroom was as truely repulsive- and that is said from an ex smoker, I can’t imagine how other guests feel about it. Some of the wait staff could try smiling a bit more, they were sultry and curt in the bar and resturants. I think they need to brush up on there manners and customer facing skills
We've travelled the world and have never had quite the experience as staying at Soho. The rooms were the most thoughtfully decked out and had everything you possibly might have needed and then some! It was a different experience for sure.
The property is beautiful, they have lovely staff and a great outdoor restaurant. Some of the staff wasn’t very helpful. I booked the bohemian tour and it ended up a big disappointment with walks to tourist things I saw the day before and a $300 price tag. Please note, the hotel and surrounding hotel plays loud music until 2:30am, so if you want to sleep, the ear plugs won’t help.

Bright room without blackout curtains Loud disco music till 4am on fridays First two nights we were at ritz. Much nicer. Soho house club here is gorgeous tho
The property was beautiful and secluded within an urban setting.
Excellent
The stay was great, the hotel was a beautiful sanctuary from the city and a lovely place just to sit around and relax.
Excellent location, with a beautiful garden right next to Soho House.
Service and the club
We absolutely loved the hotel. It’s everything we wanted. The room was gorgeous and had everything we needed from plug adapters to fluffy gowns and slippers. The bed is dreamy and we loved the little extras of cookies at turn down! My only slight negative was the TVs. They were temperamental and worked when they wanted! However not an issue as we weren’t in a lot! I had read prior to staying that some previous guests had complained about late night music and hearing door slamming in the corridor….now whilst this did happen, it did not have any impact on our stay! Istanbul is a hustle/bustle type place. Noise is everywhere and I actually found Soho House quite tranquil in comparison! The shower is the best shower you will ever have. Waterfall shower with gorgeous Cowshed products. The staff were outstanding and couldn’t do enough. Recommending restaurants….whatever you want they will do. They truly make the place. I would recommend Soho house in an heartbeat!
Excellent and beautiful, cool scene and area.
The staff is not friendly and not helpful at all, I received the room and some things we’re missing from the complimentary tea and coffee tray. The bed wasn’t arranged properly. i called to reception asking for water and sewing kit and I didn’t receive them. Its beautiful and in a beautiful location but you wont feel like home.
Couldn't wait to leave
Our 'comfort' room was depressingly dark. At basement level with an outside space covered by a tree. The table and chairs constantly covered in dead leaves. I needed to use my phone torch to find the room in the barely-lit corridor. Even with all the lights on during the day it was dark and miserable. The room was well equipped with toiletries (which they kept telling us we mustn't take) such that there was no room in the shower room to put any of our own products. There is no relaxing space to escape the darkness (like a pool) although the members club next door was a redeeming feature. We had a very nice lunch there. However Cecconi's wine prices are off the scale. The cheapest red is a cheap Pata Negra charged at over ,£50 with their discretionary service charge. We were told it was because of Turkish tax but even the Kempinski charges significantly less for better quality wines. To cap it all when they arranged our taxi they said the driver insisted on a fixed rate rather than meter which turned out to be almost double the 'real fare'. The taxi driver told us the hotel told him to charge a fixed rate!
Amazing staff. Amazing restaurant and vibes. The hospitality is top notch
Perfect in every way!
Amazing hotel rooms and property ambiance. The hotel design and room decor is detailed and thoughtful. The spa, gym, and bars are great! Definitely worth a stay.
I stayed 4 nights in soho house I paid more than 2500$ to have good property and to stay in quiet room But it was so terrible the curtain not cover the window very will and I get up every morning too early because of sun light come to room and last night we didn’t sleep because of fire alarm work more than 4 times and my daughter get up afraid .
The staff are amazing and the service is outstanding
Love it
this hotel is one of the kind
Nice design hotel
Beautiful hotel with really friendly helpful staff. In a great location if ever visiting Istanbul
very stylish
Beautiful hotel but too dark!
Lovely hotel…my only challenge was lighting in the bathroom was soooo dark, need light in a bathroom. The photo looks brighter than it is
A great hotel
The Soho House is a marvelous hotel with a wonderful staff. The gardens for breakfast are a wonderful.
I liked the retro style decor of the hotel
Cool and comfortable hotel with members access
Excellent hotel, beautiful decor and great service. All little touches thought of. We were in a small room but it was a very good size. Facilities great and is added bonus to be able to go to the members club too. Wifi connectivity was sketchy at times but it wasn't an issue
Great hotel to base a quick trip to Istanbul…many walkable sites and restaurants. Great staff and delicious food at the Soho House.
Top notch 5 star all around. Worth every Penney
great atmosphere. old world charm with very modern facilities
Amazing place with such lovely friendly staff, delicious food and great atmosphere - just wish the pool and the roof terraces in the pictures existed !?
Loved the decor & lighting throughout the hotel, our room (medium plus) was very spacious and had a freestanding bathtub in the room. The shower has a steam option. The only criticism of the room was that the wardrobe could have been slightly bigger & in the bathroom it would have been good to have the option for stronger lighting around the mirrors for make up (as it’s very dark) Soho house’s food is great, including the on site cecconis. We visited the spa, which was very reasonably priced.
Definitely the place to stay when in Istanbul. All staff very polite excellent managment here. Excellent food cant moan about anything. Well done soho group
Parking was a problem. Overall it was a good stay!
Highly recommend
Amazing hotel! Clean, chic, personal is so helpful! Location is great. Would come back
Price vs. Quality issues !
While this is a great property and good location, we were not happy with some little things that changed our feelings about quality vs. price. For the price we paid, which is consistent with the typical names in high end hotels, we did not feel the stay was worth the price. It was worse that breakfast was paid separately (with questionable omelette quality), and no bottled water in the room was provided. There were also several issues in the room with lighting and broken lamp shades. After speaking with the general manager, he assured he would fix these small things, and he invited us to lunch, but we still had no water in the room for the remainder of our stay. Front desk was polite and helpful. Bed was very comfortable. Shower was perfect.
Incredible service. The staff is great and definitely fits with the soho house vibe. The rooms - words don’t do them justice - absolutely incredible! Great location too. I’ve stayed at Four Seasons and Ciragan before and prefer the Soho House
$300 per night for low standard of service, not 5*
We stayed there over Christmas when Istanbul had restrictions on restaurants and dine in was not permitted except in the hotel. Soho House, which was one of the most expensive hotel options in excess of USD 300 per night, and is a 5 star hotel, only had 1 restaurant open which served the same limited menu all the time. Room service was only available until 10pm! We had requirements to eat later than 10pm however we had no options and the hotel would not serve us food! We felt this was completely unacceptable standard of service and when we requested to transfer to another 5 star hotel in Istanbul with a wider variety of food and 24-hour room service (which should be the standard), the hotel refused to refund the remaining nights in our stay which forced us to check out one night early and incur the loss.
Diplomatic mission to live the high life!
Amazing hotel... definitely a must see in Istanbul. We stayed in different hotels but this, by far was the best choice!
Expensive relative to other hotels in the area but has great facilities - awesome gym, rooftop and other facilities. Truly a charming spot to stay in in the heart of the city.
Beautiful historic building in a great location. Taksim is a really fun area to be in. Amenities were amazing, from the allis garden to the rooftop pool and clubhouse. The staff were so nice and helpful, they also had great recommendations!
Amazing service and overall experience
I highly recommend this hotel... their service is outstanding... location superb.... rooms are spacious & very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again during my next visit to Istanbul.
Good but could improve in parts
Amazing property, Location and friendly team overall, reception very good! Ali’s restaurant team in the garden and rooftop service could do with some friendly and speedy service and English training, especially the girls could smile a bit more in the morning. Not up to the usual Soho House standard in terms of service and responsiveness. Bit slow in responding quickly to requests, but still felt looked after and welcome. Food quality good and prices justified. Opening hours from Restaurants and Bar —last orders should be taken at closing times and not 30 minutes beforehand or earlier even if there are national holidays. Would go back however!
I would not go back here
Rude employees, slow and terrible service, stuck up attitude across the board, very dark rooms, would not stay here again
Destination
I was against wasting precious Istanbul time at a place I could visit in London or Los Angeles, but the hotel, restaurants, garden and access to Soho Club and roof gardens made it worth the trip in itself. We really liked the comfort and taste of our room. NOTE: We had a garden facing room so it was a LOT quieter than the rooms facing the highway.
Soho House Istanbul is amazing! Great vibe and great location. Efe and Esma were always responsive and on top of all of my requests and needs. Everyone makes you feel comfortable, relaxed and "at home" I will return again soon!
Property has a unique vibe with different environments to enjoy, roof top pool, annex building & amazing gym. The only thing they need to work is the staff ability to communicate better in English servers, Spa, gym...not including reception which were amazingly pleasing and accommodating.
Beautiful roof top pool with amazing views of the Bosporus
Everything is to like. Rooms, lounge, pool, good. It’s an overall great place to stay as well as hang out
Amazing property and amazing spa services available.
Welcoming but relaxed hotel. Great stay although the TV wasn’t working on some channels. Shower door doesn’t shut properly.
Its overall vibe and the grandeur of its clubhouse make this place a great destination on its own. The fact that it is in Pera with all the history and charm is wonderful.
Incredible hotel. We stayed here for two nights and joined the House evening at Soho House next door - a lot of fun. Beautiful hotel with fantastic amenities, would strongly recommend staying here if in Istanbul.
Very enjoyable stay
This is the second time I’m staying at the hotel and it’s always a delight to come back to. If you have any dietary requirements or prefer a hip vybe, you’d be well-looked after here with the very knowledgable, attentive and pleasant staff. I can’t congratulate their management enough for the amazing work they do.
Great location and easy walking distance to many.most points of interest. The benefit of club access is huge. Terrific rooms and an amazing gym. The only thing was occasionally spotty service in the restaurant at the hotel.
Best boutique hotel ever
10/10 hotel. This is a must stay in Istanbul if you want a perfect boutique hotel. Best place I’ve ever stayed. The design is gorgeous, Every last detail is thought out. High end products in the room, amazing massive gym. The bar and bartenders is amazing. Cecconis is delicious. Absolutely loved my stay at the Soho house.
Second time around staying at the soho house. Always a pleasure ! Best place to stay in Istanbul!
Most amazing hotel stay ! Staff is wonderful and accommodating. Istanbul is a magical place.
Return visitor to Istanbul
Just returned from 4 day stay. Highly recommend Soho House - while it wasn’t perfection, it was pretty close! Really chilled out, so many areas to hang out in - though the room was gorgeous and bigger than average! Floor to ceiling windows, separate bathroom area and fabulous bed - I’m pregnant and those extra pillows really helped with getting to sleep! Loved having access to the club - we’d have a glass of wine before getting ready for dinner every evening on the rooftop bar- those views are outstanding! Ate dinner in Navvah - was really good even with painfully slow service (we found this everywhere to be fair) We lazed around the club reading & eating on one rainy day - so chilled out! The area is perfect too - the streets are pretty & good coffee shops are abundant. Easy to walk everywhere from here - which we did. After a long day, it was lovely being able to retreat to our room. Freshly baked cookies a nice touch!
Not up to usual Soho house standard
The hotel is in a good location with a lovely court yard garden where you can have a drink. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated however our room at the front of the hotel was super noisy and had an appalling smell of drains. We did mention this but nothing was done. We also noticed this smell in the spa area. The staff were in general pleasant but did not go the extra mile. The breakfast is menu service and has a narrow selection the coffee is good. I general for the price it is not good value for money and I have stayed in other premium hotels in Istanbul that are far better. Although we had a nice time I don’t think I would rush to stay there again
Stunning Hotel
We really enjoyed our stay at the Soho House. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning and the staff at reception were amazing. On the other hand staff in the Allis cafe can be very condescending borderline rude (well some of them). We also had a mix up with their Cowshed Spa but the Hotel reception sorted it all out for us- They really went far and beyond with their services.
Perfect location, very cool relaxed environment and great staff. Make use of the roof top and eat at Naavah!
Home away from home in Turkey
My husband is from Turkey and he brought me to Istanbul to meet his family. The SoHo House proved to be the best environment for many reunions over Turkish Tea. Our room was perfect with it's own living room and made it feel like we were at home receiving guests. We will definitely be back!
Gorgeous hotel! Can't wait to go back!
Soho House Istanbul is an amazing hotel. The rooms are beautiful, the rooftop has amazing views. Staying at the hotel gives you access to the members-only club next door: what a gorgeous building! The rooftop bar has great views over the Bosphorus. Oh and it also has the best looking gym I've ever been to! I would stay there again in a heartbeat! Great staff too.
Incredible Istanbul House.
Incredible hotel - beautiful rooms, amazing facilities, wonderful staff. We would 100% return.
Wedding Visit
Amazing hotel - beautiful architecture and friendly staff
Fantastic hotel
We had such an amazing experience, will definitely be back! Just a shame about the pool :-(
Lovely hotel. Service needs a bit of an improvement to be considered a 5-star hotel. But all are very nice and trying really hard. Also, for me, not yet up to par with the rest of the Soho House hotels (for example, can’t book SPA treatments because the 1 person who works there is off on holiday). Nothing major, just need to continue working on the small details. Still highly recommended.
Istanbul :)
Such a great location and amazing staff. What a great place to stay in Istanbul. Will definitely be staying there next time I go back.
Soho House Istanbul
It was amazing, everyone was so friendly and helpful.
Many better choices in Istanbul, FS or ST.Regis
They put us in basement room, with no window. Only small dooor with almost no sun light???And bad smell in room. We paid high price for room and aspect nice room and better service...
nice hotel , very nice interior designes
Exclusive
Staff was super nice and everything was worth money. Will be back again
Awasom! Perefect vacation.
Gorgeous stay!
Had an amazing stay at Soho House Istanbul. Stunning property and really attentive stuff made our stay really memorable. I would definitely return and highly recommend it.
Absolutely fantastic experience all around! Good service, friendly staff and nice amenities. They helped me get a cab and feel safe.
Soho House Istanbul is heaven
It was spacious, clean, all the products you want and great service. Have to come back.
Istanbul, Soho House only!
The place is lovely, the gym is brilliant, the staff exceptional.
SOHO House Istanbul
I can definitely recommend SOHO House Istanbul. We stayed 3x nights. Great rooms and atmosphere. Close proximity to restaurants, bars and shops as well as cultural attractions.
Soho Hotel
Great hotel. Modern, comfortable with access to private members’ club next door and roof terrace (good for sundowners). Not giving maximum score, though. Ordered room service one evening which never came. Reported it next am, but no apology was really forthcoming and front desk even charged me for the kitkat I’d eaten from mini bar in lieu of my dinner. Bit cheeky and not what I expected from Soho House. Shame.
Dynamic Hotel
The hotel is charming and has a special atmosphere with a dynamic lobby full of life . The rooms are nice but very noisy the windows need insulation. Our medium room supposedly had a balcony but in fact one can barely stand on it . There was no fireplace as stated on my reservation. Otherwise the rooms are lovely.
Amazing
Best hotel stay ever!
Perfect location and great buzz
Excellent staff, style of hotel great, lively, yet functional
Excellent location quality hotel and very trendy Super restaurant and bar
Trendy, great location
Trendy hotel in a good location, good for walking around. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Downside, no room service past 11:00. I arrived after midnight and was starving, so was disappointed about that. TV had many movie channels (American movies) but all in Turkish, they couldn’t fix the problem. Was annoyed by that. Water was not free! Even though I was in the highest category room. Breakfast had very very few choices. Juice was about the size of a baby cup. The hotel was very nice, but there are way better choices in Istanbul that offer much more.
Wonderful stay!
Lovely small boutique hotel with absolutely charming staff!
Chic & Elegant
A beautiful hotel with exceptional facilities and attention to detail. Very good location and close by to a lot of the popular tourist attractions.

Very nice, chic hotel, staff, especially concierge services. I will definitely stay there in the future.
