Hotel with cultural spice

The hotel is one of the best in the area but it is getting tired.. there are some cultural corks to keep in mind.. like don’t forget to bring swim cap if you want to use the pool, service barely speaks English, room service takes 50 minutes (even if you are VIP guest), there is giant bathtub in my room, but there is no bath salt ( u have to buy that … lol), and list goes on.. in overall I would stay here again..because luck of choices in the area

Best furniture shopping and the hotel is super nice

Overall pretty nice stay. Only issue was that there was no microwave in the room, so we had to ask one of the attached dining areas if they could heat up leftovers for us. After one agreed the night before, when we arrived the morning we wanted to heat up food, they told us they needed to charge us around 30 RMB (~5 USD) per dish.

My stay in this hotel was one of the most beautiful times. The hotel is wonderful in all its details. I love to thank all of the staff , and I especially thank Mr Carroll and Ms Season

One of best hotel in china

The staff need a little more knowledge of English. reception desk is manned by inexperienced staff that have no common sense and communication. waiteress staff pounce and clear your table when you get up to get more food from the buffet and give your table to others and make people angry . staff need to be trained in serving and pouring drinks especially beer. its not okay to have a glass full of frothy beer.

Great location but NO A/C!!

The location of this hotel is amazing if you’re planning to do some furniture shopping. It’s super convenient where you don’t even need to go outdoors as it is connected to the hotel. However, we complained about our room being too hot multiple times during our 2 day stay. They sent maintenance but nothing changed, when we complained again they told us they turned off the a/c of all room… and ended up bringing us a FAN. Ive never stayed at a 4/5 star hotel with this issue nor have been offered a fan… I was lost for words. Didn’t sleep well at all.

One of the best hotels

this hotel is excellent and in a great location. its connected to the famous furniture mall Luvre and very easy to get around to all the major shopping centers. the concierge name "Daniel" was great , he spoke such good english and was very helpfull giving us excellent customer service. that team was great !! very very helpfull

I had a great stay,the property was very nice. Rooms were very nice ,spacious and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with large selection of fresh items.

I AM A BUSINESS TRAVELLER AND I WENT TO DINNER DOWNSTAIRS AND I HAD $6000 STOLEN FROM MY ROOM.

Very hot then when we arrive I’ll call supervisor three for time to fix that AC problem but nobody picks it and Book clubroom and all night we stay awake can’t sleep very very bad experience

New, modern, stylish, high quality with reasonable prices

I was overwhelming impressed with the Sofitel, the beauty of the hotel, the luxuriousness of my suite and the service of all of the staff especially Phoenix from the Front Desk and Concierge. I have never received the level of service that I was treated with by Phoenix. She truly went above and beyond and really took care of me all weekend. I will definitely be returning to the Sofitel Foshan and Phoenix is a big part of this. Also the food was delicious both in the restaurant on the 58th Floor and the Club on the 32nd Floor!

Great location, awesome service, delicious breakfast and a luxurious room. I was helped by Saadia, what a true asset she is to this hotel! Very knowledgeable, polite, helpful and always with a happy smile! Thank you Sofitel and Saadia for making my stay so perfect! Oksana from Australia.

The staff are so friendly especially the one called GORDAN LIN in the breakfast buffet . He is so nice and helpful person speaks English well not like others in foshan so difficult to understand English

A VERY nice hotel

Funky spacious, tasteful. Great room, great amenities, amazing breakfast.

The decor and attention to detail in the furnishings is impeccable. Staff are well trained, extremely polite and helpful. Buffet breakfast has a wide variety ranging from Chinese to Indian to American cuisine ie egg station, baked beans, freshly baked bread, waffles etc to refreshing freshly squeezed juices.

The room design is terrific for me. It is spacious and clean. The staffs are friendly and provide excellent service. The hotel is very thoughtful by sending me a birthday cake during my stay. I am very surprised and feel appreciated.

Family trip with elders

The hotel property is newly built and beautiful. The decor and rooms are spacious and comfortable. We booked 5 rooms and at check in time at 2:30pm, only 3 rooms were ready. As we had 3 elders with us over age 85, this wasn’t ideal. The hotel couldn’t tell us when we would be able to get a room but they said they will give us a call, which we did not receive. Finally the night came and when we returned back to the hotel after dinner, the rooms were ready but it was scattered across different floors. As this was a family trip with elders, we wanted rooms on the same floor with adjacent rooms as much as possible yet the front desk did not accommodate. During our two-night stay, we had to rely on themselves to get to the breakfast buffet/lobby because the hotel did not issue additional room keys for us and the elevators only worked with valid room keys for that specific floor. Next time, I would probably make a note during reservation, call in few days’ advance and on the morning of to make sure it’s done properly. The breakfast buffet had a wide range of selection which was very nice. There were just too many tours and it was a bit crowded even for a large restaurant with spacious seating! It was not luxurious in terms of atmosphere!

By Far the best hotel in Foshan . 6 stars facilities & comfort at a 4 star price. The only place to stay at. I have stayed there 5 times now in the last 12 months. cannot fault anything.

Our recent stay at Sofitel Foshan was great. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel for furniture shopping at Lourve Furniture Mall which is just adjacent to it. We stayed in the modern room and were impressed with its upscale modern interior. Room has private spa tubs, motorized curtain, flat screen TV with digital channels. It is new and well equipped with excellent cleanliness and very helpful staff. Highly recommended.
