Not the best place. Left a day early because the statue the property is in. Coming from North America this property didn’t live up to expectation.
Lakeview Villa
Nice hotel with lakeside view. Friendly staff, amazing breakfast. Bed could be more comfortable, And Surrounding of the hotels are congested with narrow passage which makes difficult for car to come to Hotel. Overall 4/5
IT IS MOST HECTIC TO REACH HOTEL BY HOTEL ONLY ONE AUTO SERVICE THROUGH VERY NARROW BUMPY ROAD, THAT IS DISGUSTING. THE ACCESS TO HOTEL IS TROUBLESOME AND THE VISITOR SHOULD KEEP THAT IN MIND BEFORE RESERVING THIS HOTEL.
Not Value for Money
As seasoned travelers to India, we wanted to book something a bit special for the final days of our holiday. We paid 130 euros a night inc. taxes making this the top price hotel we have visited in India In 20 years (except the Taj Palace in Mumbai). We were very very disappointed. This is a tired hotel; badly run and badly maintained. Positives first: The gardens are lovely and most of the staff are very helpful. However, the hotel does not deliver what it promises. We paid (sadly in advance or we would have left after the first night) for a Deluxe Cottage with a lake view. What we got was a grim cottage with no lake view. In the description on Hotels.com it offers a minibar, which suggests it is licensed. What you get is a fridge and there is no alcohol available here. There is only wifi in reception. There is no wardrobe - just a rail with no coat hangers. There is limited hot water - only available a few hours a day. The pool is fine but there are only four sun loungers, two of which are broken and no mattresses. We had to ask for toilet paper. As the roof of the cottage is canvas, noise is very disturbing, and all night parties and dogs constantly barking made for sleepless nights. The restaurant is poor. We paid for 1/2 board, but after the first night we ate elsewhere. The food in the breakfast buffet was lukewarm or cold, and the toaster for self service toast was filthy dirty. This is the only hotel we have ever visited in India with no welcome drink - enough said.

The food on the property was terrible. The maintenance of the rooms was lacking and the pool had tiles falling out. A tile even cut my friends foot. Overall the experience was way worse than I expected.
