Great service provided. Friendly staff members. We received free upgrade and cake for birthday. It was a lovely surprise. The only negative feedback is the mosquitoes even though our room is on the 22nd floor!

This nice hotel for stay

Upon arrival, the front desk staff tried very hard to sell me that my booking of “premium room with two double beds”is indeed “a double room with two twin beds”. She tried very hard to convince my reservation, even after she checked my confirmation email from Expedia, was a double room, forget about “two double beds”. She spent more than five minutes to convince me 2 twin beds is a double room that was my reservation. Wasted my time a lot for me to explain what two double beds means. Can’t believe this can happen with Sheraton Hotel employees as I once was a senior management staff in Sheraton Pacific region hotels.

Strong recommended hotel in Surabaya

The staff are nice and friendly , especially the staff from Bromo cafe . Chef Fitri , Mr. Jojok, Ms. Fitroh and Denny are giving good service, I am impressed . This is the strong reason I choose Sheraton Surabaya again for my long stay during my business trip. The location also very good , connecting with the mall.

We had stay at this hotel previously for 5 nights and we extended our stay for another 5 nights. We love this hotel. Great location and connects to the Tunjungan Plaza shopping mall. Excellent customer service, all employees are super friendly especially the Bromo Cafe. Excellent complimentary breakfast for two. Definitely will stay here again. Thank you to Cafe Bromo managers and team for excellent service. This is the Best friendliest hotel that we have ever stayed. Best breakfast!

Short stay in Surabaya Sheraton

Water pressure was non-existing for the showers, bedsheets were dirty and stained plus the welcome card was addressed to a wrong guest.

Even though the room is smoke free, i can still smell cigarettes residue especially in the bathroom. Room is spacious, fits a family of 4. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Hotel location, breakfast, service was great. Need to improve room amenities (especially hairdryer - it’s mentioned “turbo” but not really turbo on it and TV was too small) Definitely will come back to this hotel

Indeed it is a 5 star hotel, The front desk staff, the concierge, and everyone else was outstanding. I had my room cleaned everyday by Miss Lilis who did an excellent job The location of the Sheraton Hotel is perfect, within steps from the Tunjungan Plaza Shopping center.

Probably the best in Surabaya. It is convenient to shopping and restaurants.

Close to the mall, but hotel room is old and not in good condition. Toilet smells of sewage and stains on towels and beddings. Understand hotel will undergo renovation in Feb.

Always good staying at Novotel Surabaya

I stay here often just for some room service and swimming. The food is very good and promptly delivered for room service. I asked for a bucket of ice to be delivered to my room so i could chill my wine and ordered 3 small cokes. They instead brought me a bowl of ice and 3 cokes and charged me 192000 rupiah for ice. I was quite shocked at the sprice for ice and 3 small cans of coke.

The “deluxe suite” look bare and not well thought out.

The room is old , carpet is dirty but the service is good . I want to stay Sheraton again if the room is clean .

Old hotel next to shopping mall

Hotel is nice but desperately needs a renovation for a 5 star hotel. Reception staff were great as well as Pak Bagus and Pak Eko at concierge who coordinated all multiple requests and provided a personal touch by confirming everything via WhatsApp prior to our stay. Had a lot of issues with housekeeping staff who delivered our laundry however, with one staff lying about the delivery when our laundry went missing. Buffet breakfast was satisfactory with many selections of western and Asian food. Overall an ok stay with the highlight being located next to the mall for convenience.

Sheraton Surabaya managed to provide both of us with good hotel guest experiences e.g. services provided by Wisnu, Benny, Yvone& Yume at Club lounge and Bapak Bagus at Concierge. We will come back & recommend friends to this hotel.

Room had a few problems...when lights were shut off at night, the light on the tall standing room lamp kept flashing about every 10 seconds (oddest thing), so I unscrewed bulb each night to avoid problem. Fridge not very cold in room. Charging bay built into night stand was just about falling off unit, so I didn't use it. No buybacks at bar. Otherwise, very nice hotel and stay!

Short stay in Surabaya

Great hotel in the center of Surabaya. Direct access to the famous Tunjungan Plaza mall. Some of the surrounding buildings are still under construction. It wasn't noisy because of this but the view out of the room was on a construction area and also to get to the hotel you have to pass the construction area or coming though the mall.

It's quite good, except that it's ramandan So alcohol is a no no, there's plenty of restaurants and shops below the hotel!

Room needs proper cleaning!

Room was infested by bed bugs and some insects flying around the room. Very poor housekeeping. Received an upgrade but since it was 11pm at night didn't really enjoy the stay at all. Disappointing.

Hotel with a great hospitality.

My night stayed was great as i was at the club level. The staff attended to us offered us great hospitality. We were satisfied with our stay there. For Sure we will make a come back!

Nice hotel connected to a shopping mall

Sheraton was a lovely place to stay. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the hotel staff which made our first visit to Surabaya homely. Conveniently, Sheraton is connected to an extensive shopping mall with a good mix of the usual brands as well as local delights.

I am a frequent visitor of this hotel. On my last visit, the f&b @ breakfast buffet was downgrade in term if taste. L

Stayed 2 nights primarily because Sheraton adjoins Tunjungan Plaza, the largest mall in Surabaya. That sums it up really.

A bit disappointed.

Nice hotel with a huge shopping centre

Enjoyed the club Sheraton facilities - complimentary afternoon tea and evening refreshment. Big room with enough amenities. Wonderful, helpful and friendly staff. A huge Shopping centre is attached to the hotel through an exit adjacent to the lobby. Affordable Taxi is available to get you around the city all day. The gym is also well equipped. Sadly, the huge pool is a little dirty with some litter (small styrofoam boards throwing into the pool) that were not cleared.

City Centre hotel

Then hotel has excellent staff and is centrally located connected to a big shopping mall which makes it very convienienient . The breakfast has good variety and the rooms are of good size & very comfortable . Definitly a good choice for a business traveller or even families on holiday .

Booked 2 connecting rooms for a 4 nights/ 5 days stay. Nice hotel. Safe security, friendly & helpful staffs.

Sorry to say that, the room condition is not what I had expected from Sheraton. My first room had dirty carpet, rusted mirror, and the room condition made me feel unfortable. Then I asked to change to another room, which was next to the lift, and I could hear the wheel running when someone use the lift. Finally, the third room is ok, up to a standard of a hotel, clean, tidy, comfortable bad, but still I would expect more because it was Sheraton. At the end, the staff service was very good, very polite.

Overall is good. I have been staying in this hotel for more than 20 years. But at this moment, the surrounding hotel is under contruction so it's a bit noise and dusty.

It is far from airport . But a good mall is attached with it . Washroom need pest control as I saw cockroaches in washroom .

Door problem

The overall was a good stay. The only discomfort was the unit I am staying 1404, the door has problem & need to be pull tightly to closed it. Just as I found after their room make-up, my room was properly closed due the door.

Excellent Place to Stay - Would Go Back

Amazing staff. The concierge helped me plan my whole Mt. Promo trip---contacted the drivers, ensured I went to see specific places for photography, etc. Food was good but the Staff is the reason I would go back.

Great location, great stay!!

I stay at Sheraton Surabaya every time I visit Surabaya for business trip. Its ideal location and the ease to be able to walk around a decent size shopping mall make the stay worth while. Staffs are very polite and professional, way way better than those in Sheraton Dongguan. Love Sheraton Surabaya

Nice hotel, close to shopping centre

Everything was good apart from lack of security. Lots of security guards but not doing their job properly. Because we had a stalker all the way to our level and was stalking my husband at Tunjungan for 2 hours. It was creepy. They should check every single person who will enter the building carefully. The shopping centre is fine, but if they can go in to the hotel lift and get in to some levels without card, it's scary.

Hotel Next to a Shopping Certre

Stayed at the Club Floor for 3 days. Was attended to by very attentive staff. The stay was pleasant. Room was a bit wanting in that the bathroom was dirty with old stains. There was a stale smell in the room and bathroom. While the club floor was simple and sufficient however it lacked in food and variety.

What can we say, just simply Superb.... stayed at at the Club Room at Sheraton Surbaya. It was smooth sailing from the time we checkin till we checkout at the Sheraton Club. We arrived early and was given a room with no hassle. Room is spacious and we love the comfy bed & pillows. The meals ( Bfast, lunch & dinner ) we had at Cafe Bromo was excellent. The pre-cocktails snacks & drinks at the Club were very good too. Very comfy , cosy and great ambience. Location of the hotel is exceptionally convenient, just next to the biggest Mall in Surabya. The staffs gave excellent & personalised services throughout our stay. Kudos to them. Room Tip: The Club floor is a great place to stay.

The room we stayed in has a lot of signs of wear & tear. Maybe it is time to start renovating older rooms. Staffs are great. Great size room with comfy beds. The location next to the shopping centre is very convenience.

Excellent Location, Exemplary Service

The hotel staff members were very professional, warm, friendly and courteous. Breadfast buffet not outstanding in spread and quality but these are minor issues and should not deter anybody from staying at the hotel. Internet connection was excellent and hotel charges reasonable rates. Highly recommended.
