Excellent at all
comfy beds nice bathrooms with good toiletries quiet rooms loved the cushiony window rest to look outside my room
Very good, convenient to all destinations in Bucharest
Very nice hotel
Very nice, comfortable room and bed.
Perfect
Very well kept hotel and friendly staff
We stayed for Christmas and the Christmas brunch was fantastic! Staff are attentive, friendly and welcoming. The facilities in the hotel are great with comfortable beds. Reception are always willing to help and organise transport and tours for you. I highly recommend breakfast as there was so much variety from omelettes, crepes and cereal to continental. Location is good just 10 mins drive from the centre and 3 mins walk to the metro. There are many areas around to Lounge and chill inside the hotel. I would definitely stay here again!
Poor service
Very bad and staff were very rude. On arrival staff attempted to give us two single beds instead of the king we booked
I wouldn't say it's a 5 star hotel but it was nice. I think the room was very nice, very clean, nice view. the Staff at the dining room and at the Casino were great. The location is very nice. HOWEVER The staff at the front desk... I would give them 2 out of 5 and that's because I am nice.. So many of them but it looked like they are all new at the job (besides one or two and they weren't very pleasant or helpful as well) Just few exemples - they gave different answers to our questions, arrival and departure were not lovely, we had a full day till our flight and even though the guy at the desk the night before said we could wait at the hotel and use the pool & lounge (we payed to be in a lounge floor during our stay) when we checked out the girl told us this is not possible ... That is very cheap. Not to mention I had a birthday on one of the days - the hotel refused my partner's beg to let someone with flowers or balloons to room while we're out and that's after the hotel refused to bring even a small cake or bottle of wine or something! My partner just wanted me to enter the room after a long day out to something nice on my birthday - they not only we're very cheap and not agreeing to leave something as a small gesture - they actually did not let her pay for something like that from out of the hotel! I was just shocked. Keys not working a lot of the times and you need to go to the front desk multiple times, their system was down... Not 5 star at all - but o.k hotel
Nice, but a few things could be better
Located a bit north of the old town but easy to get around either by Metro or Bolt scooters and taxis. Hotel was ok, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The small pool area and gym are good although there towels left all over the floor when we used it. It did not seem 5 star and the breakfast was a bit like a service station restaurant.. lots of rude people pushing you aside and shouting at each other - maybe just the guests staying when we were there? Not a relaxing experience first thing in the morning though. Hotel was a bit dated in places. Overall value for money for what we paid though.
Good location. More 4 than 5 star service.
Nice hotel
The check-in was friendly and informative from Georgiana. The room (805) was clean and included tea/coffee an ironing board and iron. It was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. There was a good choice of breakfast food and the service was quick and friendly. Overall it was a good hotel I would recommend for anyone staying in Bucharest.
Amazing as always. My third time in 4 months and i don’t want to book any other hotel in Bucharest. Georgiana by the desk was amazing as always . Big smile on her face, always helpful and friendly. I will be back again in 3 months.
Amazing as usual. I love Sheratton every time i come to Bucharest. I will be back next month. Georgiana at the front desk was amazing and always there with a smile on her face. Her brother (bell boy, sorry i forgot his name), was amazing too. Always helpful and friendly. Really amazing to be back there thanks to them.
very very nice hotel
great hotel and very good location
Location is very convenient.
Great location. Great service.
Very modern, clean, safe and accommodating hotel close to the center of everything. Best hotel breakfast bar in Bucharest.
Great hotel. Friendly staff. Good location. Great price.
Good hotel near centre
Nice hotel with a nice reception, check inn was good and quick , beds comfortable and decent mini bar . Would definitely re-book
5 nights stay
A typical Sheraton!! Nothing different… Great location
We were very let down from the Sheraton! It’s a 5 star hotel. But worth only 3 stars if that. I wouldn’t advise anyone to stay there. We had no air conditioning in our room the safe was broken and the staff didn’t even understand our frustration. I will post This on blogs possible so that people should be aware not go to this hotel.
Good Hotel
This hotel needs a bathroom update. 8f you have problem with your legs is a pain to get in the bath tub for shower.
An easy stay
An easy stay. Bus ride from the airport. 20 minute interesting walk to the old town. Bars, restaurants in the hotel and local neighbourhood.
3 days at Sheraton
We booked for 3 nights stay. Hotel is nice and clean. The front desk was efficient. Room was on the higher floors and had coffee machine and refrigerator. Around Sheraton there are a number of places where one can buy something to eat. We didn't have time to try in house dining. There is a metro stop round the corner so that helps a lot. Main station is also a metro ride away Buffet breakfast was good with a variety of items. Pool facilities looked really nice but we didn't have time to use. COVID regulations are followed and we felt safe all the time. Recommended.
Big hotel
Great hotel in the middle of bucharest. Close to city center old city with parties Benihana in the hotel live cooking 5 star services Great voew at higher floors
Good hotel with amazing views.
Convenient hotel, close to Metro station and many bars and restaurants within 5 minute walk. Easy to find as it is so tall, with amazing views. Rooms are comfortable with many accessories. Hotel is clean and service from reception staff was quick and polite.
Marvelous, helpful staff; clean rooms; great food.
8 minute walk to the subway. Generous breakfast buffet. Comfortable and spacious rooms.
Hotel was good but the restaurant Benihana was another story... The chef put on a decent show, and the food was above average. The issue with this place is there is a banquet hall in the same area that is open, so if there is a "private" event going on at the same time you are exposed to whatever loud and obnoxious music they happen to be playing to the point you can barely hear the person beside you. When paying 200lei a meal in Romania (about 3x or more the norm) I expect a good atmosphere not to hear Romanian music like I'm in the village. My wife who is Romanian brought up the issue with the music both to the chef and the server. They said nothing we can do. I believe the issue is here that the Sheraton (whoever runs it in Bucharest) only cares about profits and not the actual enjoyment of their guests. It is a shame as I am in Bucharest once a month and will look elsewhere to stay and eat. I will note on our first visit some months back there was no "private" event and we both enjoyed our evening.
Every single employee was extremely nice and welcoming! What a great experience!
Great experience
Very positive experience. Hotel is centrally located. Staff was very kind and helpful. Great breakfast buffet and coffee service.
Service could b better
Yummy breakfast buffet w salmon /prostito for a price. Did not provide accurate info on Catholic or Orthodox churches, self excuse "not religious". Not helpful on printing. Pointed to station w computer/printer. Would be prefer hands-on assistance.
It was an overall good experience, I would stay here again and would recommend others to stay as well.
Relaxing hotel with great staff
The staff at the reception was extremely friendly and helpful, thank you for that! Otherwise the hotel is clean and comfortable, views are great from top floors.
Great stay!
We were very happy with our stay. Our only complaint is that the housekeepers didn't want to clean our room one day because we had too much stuff. It was the same as the day before when different staff was happy to do it. We told the front desk and it was cleaned immediately.
The people were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were comfortably furnished. We were there just for a night. The hotel arranged for cabs to take our group to the airport
Good location. Pool closed for two days that we wee there. No notice. when hat happened in Singapore they made alternative arrangements for us to use a pool a another hotel.
Location was ok, breakfast and staff were very good
Lovely hotel. Very clean and staff were friendly. Upheld the Sheraton standard.
Nice hotel, clean, fantastically comfortable bed! Good location with many excellent restaurants within walking distance
they ran my credit card twice, did not provide a receipt. We still have no refund.
Bad service
small rooms, very long check in room. Inside pool like a bathroom: small and shallow
Rooms were not well cleaned. The staff are very rude. We arrived at the bar by the lounge and the waiter looks at us and says, sorry we are closed at 11:15pm on a Saturday night. We found out later from room Service person that it doesn’t close before 12. The beds were comfortable. Room service is ultra slow and staff don’t care if you are satisfied or not. They called us a taxi who ripped us off who had a worn down car. The only staff who was professional and took his time to advise us on what to do was the concierge. He was excellent. I would never go back to this hotel or even advise anyone to go there.
Using the conference facilities
A great place for a conference. Easy access to the metro to get to the old town, staff great, facilities great. Bed and duvet far too hot, and you can hear a lot through a locked connecting door, more than you'd expect in 5* accomodation.
Front desk staff unable to program key card properly so we were not able to get into our room many times.
We found the staff in the Club on the 18th floor very courteous and helpful. We especially want to thank Alexandra Gheorghe for her assistance at the Bucharest Sheraton.
Not in an area where one could walk to many places. Good breakfast and overall facilities including gym.
Ok hotel, stuff is not friendly, pretty worn out, fitness facility is great, pool is too small.
The Executive Suites are excellent - It has one of the best Executive Lounge and amenities of all the Westins, The staff are well trained and helpful.
Lovely hotel, great beds and room
hotel accomodated us so that we could stay in the same room we had checked into instead of moving into rooms that had been reserved as part of a tour.
Nice hotel... close to subway, so most attractions
Bed was very comfy, bath large, American style. Nice shower and amenities and pool.
No regrets at booking the Sheraton
Stayed 7 nights. Thoroughly enjoyed the Sheraton Hotel, especially the Club Lounge Did 2 full day tours and walked around the City - a good vacation
business trip
business trip
Not the usual Sheraton standard
Not 4 star... Poor service at reception, I had extended my stay by one day so had two bookings - this caused so much confusion on check-in. Reception staff talking about me, not to me... Quite rude and abrupt, told me I'd have to re check-in for the final day... I eventually ended up keeping the same room for the extra day but it didn't get cleaned, so no clean towels. Poor. Concierge was never there - I tried 3 times to book a trip. Room was spotlessly clean, bed comfy, but A/C didn't work.
Overall fine
Nice hotel. Sabina checked me in and was very enthusiastic. Some of the staff were not as friendly. Concierage was not consistently available. Breakfast buffet was pretty good and room was nice and clean. Area around hotel has plenty of places to eat but more historic areas are a bit o a walk (Old Town about 20 minutes away). Metro stop and bus stops available nearby, which is convenient. Overall, a good place but not extraordinary.
Excellent location
Comfortable but nondescript
Nothing to fault, but could have been anywhere in the world. Their eco-friendly policy means no room tidying, cleaning etc. In other hotels it is simply reuse of bed linen and towels. Club Lounge very enjoyable but staff not very welcoming. Reception very helpful
Centrally located
Electronic room keys had to be reprocessed each day which was an inconvenience.
Confortabie hotel
The hotel is in a good location, the rooms are clean and the staff is very helpful. The breakfast I evaluate at maximum of stars- diversity and very tasty. Recommended.
Very good hotel in Romania
Great hotel, recently refurbished and one of the best in the city. Would recommend to all. Pool is heated which the kids adored. Food 10 out of 10 and staff very friendly.
Great room. Top floor really quiet. Excellent
Great place! Close to everything downtown, nice bar.
Well located near the old center of Bucharest. Staff was very helpful, hotel is clean and upscale. The Sheraton was a comfortable home away from home.
Very nice appearance. Two good restaurants inside hotel Staff goes out of there way to make you feel welcomed.
Down town and popular name
They don’t accept Euros, very small lobby very big hotel, concierge triEd to get commission by diverting us to a place for new year eve.Room is ok,Valet wasn’t polite.expensive and difficult parking
Best
Very good
Very good good room good casino.fffffffff#&jjjjjjjjjjjjj&llllll)llllllllllllllllllll
Nice stay, but terrible service
I am not even sure why the hotel has 5 stars. The staff in 4-star hotels in Bucharest speaks much better English than here. For example, I couldn't schedule my spa appointment from the room, the only thing I've heard on the phone was "I am sorry I don't understand". So I had to come downstairs and pointfinger in the brochure what exactly I wanted. Nobody knew the hotel has hamam treatments (even through the brochure is describing them explicitly) and apparently nobody knew what the hamam is. Already at this stage I should have started suspecting there is smth wrong here. So on the day of my treatment nobody was at the SPA reception and nobody told me the massage room is on a different floor away from saunas and it's just a normal room, you won't find it if you don't know. Wisely enough, I've started my search in advance and spent about 30 minutes just looking for the place. So I was on time for my appointment just to find out that the room was busy with another guest and they forgot to book it for me. I was offered to have a treatment IN MY ROOM instead. Like imagine Indian Head Massage with oil, body wraps - is that a joke? I wonder how they imagine doing this in the hotel room where the guest has to actually sleep. I was so furious as this was my only business-free night in Bucharest that I wanted to spend relaxing and here was all I've got. The hotel apologised the next day and offered me +1000 points on my rewards account which was ok.
Centre for business
Easy check in, centrally located, pleasant staff and clean amenities
fix the tukb
Only bad experience was the bath tub/ shower. terrible design, water ran around rim to floor. you can tell it wasn't just us, the door was warped at the bottom. If they just notched the top flat tile the water could run back into the the tub. Plus it needed a little wider glass enclosure. No ice available except thru room service.
5 stars services. Clean!
Everything perfect. Sheraton is one of the best hotels chain
Great service!
Wonderful check-in - staff assisted me with a 9AM check-in. Service was great - staff helped me with various transportation options to the airport. Comfortable bed and very clean room.
Sixth hotel this year
Sixth hotel this year every staff member has gone out of their way to make us welcome. We enjoyed our stay in five hotels in Switzerland but this hotel is above all.
