it is always a pleasure to stay at the Sheraton!!
View of the mountains
Good stay, within walking distance to local restaurants and shopping. Very clean room, quiet, hot water, nice view. Thank you
Had an amazing time!
Great check in, the front end clerk was so helpful!
good
Loved the 14th floor veiw, Incredible staff!
Excellent customer service. Had to make a last minute booking due to cleanliness issues at another hotel, and the Sheraton Anchorage staff checked me into a beautiful room with a great view, despite how busy they were with Iditarod and Fur Rondy traffic
Hotel is in major disrepair: Windows were all filthy, exterior siding on the building crumbling, sidewalks crumbling. Homeless being arrested in the lobby, people openly pooing on the sidewalk outside the hotel.
5 Stars
This is a beautiful place to stay. From check in to check out. The staff and rooms are what you expect in a 5 star hotel.
Not worth went elsewhere
I paid for a junior suite. Room was very disappointing. Temperature is difficult to maintain and tv was ancient. Were talking "go the hell down to Walmart and get a better one" status. I won't be back.
I loved the rooms and the floor that they put me in
Hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable, and the staff was friendly.
The staff was Amazing, the location was perfect for my needs. The breakfast was delish
Anchorage Business Trip
Great place to stay for work
We stayed for a medical visit in Anchorage. It was convenient to the hospital.
We really appreciated the friendly staff.
The breakfast is a little expensive. All other are great.
It was clean and convenient. The breakfast buffet was nice with made to order omelets and various fresh fruits.
We love this place. We stay here every year for my wife’s birthday. Good location for us to jump off for Christmas shopping
Great stay for business. Unfortunately they don’t have room service breakfast which for a business traveler is sometimes helpful. Otherwise 5 stars all around.
I am a dissabled man and i was placed in a room (509) wjere i couldnt even fit in the doorway of the bathroom. So for 3 days i couldnt shower or anything! Terrible experiance
Beautiful spacious room. Bathed was nice but the tub was a bit small. No smart tv in room.
Nice room with mountain view
We had a nice room with a nice view of the mountains. The service was very good. I would stay there again.
Always a great experience!
Room was not cleaned or Towels in the room asked for additional towels, never did receive them. Coffee from the coffee bar was cold.
This property is conveniently located in Anchorage and has a good restaurant. Rooms are standard chain hotel but perfectly fine. The hotel feels a bit dated. Walkable to shops and restaurants.
We loved our vacation in Alaska and loved staying T the Sheraton total. The staff all were above and beyond
Great hospitality! Wesley was very helpful!
The Sheraton staff was very friendly and helpful. The property was clean and nicely appointed.
When we checked in they asked for a card for incidentals, room was pre paid, they put a hold on our card for the total amount. That tied up our funds for 4 days. They had no idea of how to fix the problem.
We liked the accommodations and view; the front desk service was good, especially a young man who checked us in, but cannot remember his name (maybe started with a C or a K; had partial head shaved a bit on sides). We did not like the poor service in all of the restaurants. Dirty dishes literally piled up on the table at the bar restaurant, service was slow without it being full of customers. Servers 'went MIA' at all restaurants (Jade, Coffee shop). I believe a guest got stuck in the elevator. Worst of all was the loud noise of 4-5 housekeepers on our first night at 10 pm at night, while we were trying to sleep. They were laughing and carrying on in the doorway of room across from 1010. I opened our door and just looked at them and they said "Oh, sorry" but continued to be loud after closing our door. One had long orange hair & she seemed to be the loudest. It was very unprofessional. I called the front desk & they said they would contact the housekeeping manager. The finally left the area but not before yelling "Yikes!"
We had a comfortable stay right before our cruise. We enjoyed the shopping mall nearby. There was a wide selection in the breakfast choices.
Very close to restaurants and shopping
Super close to alot of restaurants and stores.
Dining options limited
Great location. Easy parking. Rooms were clean and comfortable
This is in good location
The property was very clean and the staff was very helpful.
The onsite dining was poor. We also found the staff to be less than helpful in some cases. The room was nice although the hotel is dated. The surrounding area is so-so. Parking is in a lot that is in need of repair. There is no valet. We did receive help with our luggage which was nice.
Very dated property. Water did not run very hot and the cafe coffee ran cold ! Restaurant looked unappealing and the prices in the shop were astronomical . Nowhere near value for money .
Least relevant
Of the big 3 hotels, this is the least relevant. It is not really in walking distance to much. The toilets are terrible and the ac is a dull roar constantly.
The furniture in our room 717 is very worn, as was some in common areas. The area surrounding the hotel felt sketchy. Was glad to see more security on our last day
I chose this hotel after getting scared by the Econo Inn. I felt everything was good besides the constant noise from the cleaners and the fact I hung a breakfast menu out very early (7pm) for next morning and it was not picked up. Otherwise staff lovely, rooms are nice and food was ok.
Parking is over charged
Service is good, lobby is comfortable
No safe - Missing Watch - Rude Waitress
Our room had a wire where a safe should have been but it was not so I could not lock my things up. I left my watch on the bathroom counter and it was not there when I returned nor when I asked the hotel staff was it located. The waitress at the restaurant was very rude while we were waiting to checkin. I would not stay here. This is the first negative review I’ve left after using hotels.com for 10 years.
Great property on the edge of downtown. Great lounge for Marriott MVPs.
T
Customer service was absolutely impeccable!! Such friendly and accommodating people. Loved the free snacks provided for my 9 year old. Classy place.
Anthony at the front was lovely and so accommodate. Will be back!
Hotel is very old and not too close to attractions
No dining facility
Do yourself a favour- stay away
I thought paying $600 AUD for a Sheraton Hotel would ensure that it was a lovely room. It wasn’t. It was unclean, with food and dust bunnies found under the furniture. The wardrobe wouldn’t stay shut. There were barely any amenities. The bathroom was cold and clunky. Definitely wouldn't recommend staying here.
The staff were very friendly and helpful!
There was food sitting in the hallway. People had sit outside their door at 10 PM when I went to bed… And it was still sitting there at 10 AM when I left, along with trash, sitting all around in the elevator lobby I would think they could put a ice machine on each floor ice machine for everybody on the fourth floor
Old , run down and overpriced for a no remodeled room , old furniture and stained carpet
Great hotel. Just pretty warm in the room I stayed in.
Overall great stay for a decent price. The only aspect I would add is that you are paying for parking which is not terribly priced but is an added cost.
It was over all a good stay but the building seems very dated and the staff at the front desk were not the friendliest but over all
I enjoyed the convenience of the hotel to the PAC and other downtown areas.
Loved the breakfast buffet. Staff were very friendly and courteous.
Very convenient to downtown. Clean and rooms/beds were very nice. Snack room items were HIGHLY overpriced!!
Staff were mainly disinterested (but not rude). Breakfast order took forever. Otherwise good service (in room dining was great). Overall 4/5
Great place to stay, clean, great amenities, staff very friendly. Will definitely stay again ☺️
Breakfast and afternoon hors d’oeuvres after joining their rewards program for free was fantastic. No fuss Everything was perfect.
It was wonderful. Breakfast was great, staff was amazing, and quiet.
It we amazing. Friendly nice people.
Wonderful staff in all areas. The property is dated. Room furniture was worn. The asset needs a facelift. Dead plants in the 15th floor lobby. Gym was ok. Restaurant and bar were great which is good due to limited amenities in the neighborhood on the fringe of downtown.
The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was great- super friendly and efficient. Check in was fast and easy. This is an older hotel, but still nice.
Nice and clean hotel. Good area.
No shuttle bus from and to Airport. 50 dollar deposit fee. Both I didn't likel.
It was a nice experience
The room smells old and stale. The furniture is outdated. The bed was hard, and the toilet is so low to the ground. It’s hard to get up and off of.
My stay I enjoy very much. As for Jade during breakfast I really despise giving my room number public because of privacy and safety. As for room being clean, the room I stayed there was nobody picking up trash and replace towels. Hopefully today someone comes by and exchange dirty towels
Not comfortable beds at all. WAY overpriced breakfast.
Not in the best part of town but they did have security present
The bath tub didn’t drain. The sheets wasn’t damaged.
We booked this room a year ago for a king size bed We were given a handicapped accessible room with a full size bed Not a king as booked not even a queen but a full size bed Thank goodness we are not handicapped for the bath room slide door was so hard to move and we were surprised that the chair in the room was very very heavy to move The room is large enough to hold a queen with still allowing 36” clearance but they choose to use a full size bed The stafff blamed the lack of king bed on the booking service (hotels.com and or Expedia ) and there was nothing they could do They did reduce the price of the room but that’s not the point I paid for what I wanted which was a king I haven’t slept in a full size bed in over 30 years It was uncomfortable and tight quarters
It was a beautiful place and I did not want to leave. I want to recommend the train ride from Anchorage to Seward.
Did not have daily service and did not have a shuttle to the trains
Nice stay
Comfortable , nice, clean room. Everything you need. Good location.
Enjoyed my stay here. Staff was very nice at both check in and check out. Room was clean and tidy. Hotel looked fantastic. My only complaint is room was a tad small. Was fine for two people but would not work for large families.
We were disappointed with Sheraton Anchorage. Firstly, In terms of its location, it is a bit removed from downtown. We had to walk for around 15 minutes. Also, the hotel was old. The rooms were dark and its furniture was run-down. Moreover, when we checked in, we were told that housekeeping service was every three days but if we asked for it, it could be daily. We did that but we had to repeat our request every day because they either forgot or the sevice was incomplete. That was quite annoying. Lastly, breakfast was way below average. Everything was tasteless. Waffle was soggy, etc, Sorry about this negative review but it was a negative experience for us. People in the reception was responsive, though.
Hotel advertises having a spa. It does not.
Decent looking property and neighborhood
Nice hotel. Service was great. Highly recommend.
So so
The overall facility was nice, spacious, clean and had good amenities. The location was slightly away from downtown (still walkable) and had a few questionable characters around. The building did require your room card to get in on side entrances for security. In the room, the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was quite outdated but the shower had great water pressure/temp. They didnt refill the bodywash and only offered 1 tiny bar of soap for handwashing. When we arrived at our room there was confusion at the front desk about which room was our reservation. We got keys but they didnt work twice. Then the cleaning people had left behind items in the room. Then someone else's luggage was delivered to our room. The front desk sorted it out but it wasnt the best first impression. Overall, for the price I wasnt overly impressed.
We had breakfast buffet coupons. We had to wait 20 minutes to be seated because there were only two wait people. Why did we have to wait went we were having the buffet and clean tables were available? Staff at desk were not very friendly.
Cccc
Expensive but not new
Disappointing
Hotel needs upgrading. Furniture is damaged. Housekeeping service is limited and on demand, only. Food service limited to one restaurant and a pantry. Would expect much better from a Sheraton at that price ($599 US per nightJ
VERY small room and bathroom for price. Bed was like sleeping on plywood. Clean enough- but outdated
Great staff, room & quiet. Walked into town. Lovely ambience. 😊
No room service until we asked for it
Nothing special
Não é padrão Sheraton
Hotel antigo, decadente Restaurantes não conseguem atender o numero de hospedes, comida e atendimento ruins. Cafe da manha fraco. Quarto confortavel Muito caro pelo que oferece
Nice hotel, but not a great location. So many homeless wandering around and right next to a busy road.
Your front desk crew and security guard are amazing!
