Amazing stuff

Hotel was great, clean and very comfortable. The reception manger Chris was super kindly and helpful for me. I’ll definitely come back the visit soon.

All amenities were gone... health club, bar, lounge, horizon club. All gone because of the coronavirus, BUT they still charged me full price for “horizon club with river view” not happy! I used to like this hotel but the management really let me down and I feel used and abused. Never going back there again!

Splendid Stay

This hotel is delightful from the minute you come through the doors. The lobby lounge area is enormous, elegant and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was expansive with fresh fruit, multiple juices and great variety in the cooked foods (though some hot foods were only just warm). The rooms were large with a lovely sitting area and a huge window to watch the light show on the mountains. The shower had nice water pressure and height. It is not a brand new modern hotel and we quite enjoyed the classic charm. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Very comfortable and good location! The hotel staff are very friendly and happy to help. The rooms are a little older than modern hotels however generally a great hotel for the location and print.

This hotel is dirty and dated. Very little English is spoken by the staff.

The property is well maintained and have the international standard that we get out of China. However the overall ambience and feel is lacking in warmth and cosiness. Not much of a entertainment in the hotel to keep us in the hotel . The breakfast ends at 10 am sharp and the staff is too efficient in clearing the buffet - so feel a bit rushed . In all is a good hotel stay . Total I stayed 9 nights - comfortable .

Still one of the best in terms of service in Wenzhou. Horizon club is nice

The hotel is new, has the best buffet I have ever had. Chinese, Japanese, Western, British, and Indian food all available for an amazing price. Gorgeous views of the waterfront and the spectacular light show on the opposing mountains.

Property is run down, I won’t stay here again. Disappointed !

Large comfortable rooms with all the amenities to get you rested and ready everyday.

Those taking swimming lessons use the pool. Guest cannot relax and enjoy the pool. Deposit of 1,000RMB which was swiped through my credit card was charged even if there was no use for the deposit. In other hotels, the deposit transaction is voided by the hotel, is not charged to credit card nor reflected in credit card transaction if unused. I checked my credit card and the 1,000 RMB was charged. No one explained this to me.

best hotel in town a true 5 star!

Stylish, opulent room with a view

Can't claim to be anything of an authority on Wenzhou having arrived late and left early. But it's a good place to get access to bullet trains travelling up/down the coastal region. The hotel is positioned sort of in-between the airport & rail station, but on the river, away from city centre. Not too much to do in the immediate vicinity, but who cares with such a nice hotel to enjoy. The staff were very helpful can capable assisting this foreigner with any arrangements. The room of course was excellent.

Beautiful hotel overlooking Ou river & mountains

The receptionist kindly offered us a discounted upgrade to a room overlooking Ou river and mountains because it was our first time in Wenzhou. The room was spacious but it has smoke smell although it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The jacuzzi was nice and well maintained. Overall, we had a pleasant stay in the hotel. I wanted to send a postcard to my friend and the concierge offered his help to send it for me. So far my friend has not received it. Hopefully, they remember to send it.

Business Hotel of Wenzhou

Nice hotel for business travellers But add more food choices (Specially Indian Food)

Beautiful hotel right on the river

This hotel is so classy. It does not boast the cavernous and impersonal foyer, it has a wonderfully intimate feel with small quiet spaces everywhere. Our room included breakfast which was buffet and encompassed Japanese, European and Chinese cuisine. We travelled for business so had a bit of a hike to the industrial zones we had meetings at, but taxis were reliable and it was worth travelling a little further to come home to such a peaceful place.

The quality of th food wasn't that great, but I guess that's the case for much it China. I ate ate the grand Hyatt and park Hyatt whilst in Shanghai and it wasn't exactly up to 5 star standards.

Getting A Little Tired

Have stayed here on previous occasions and feel hotel is starting to get a little "tired". Carpets need to be changed and lighting in rooms need upgrading as it is too dim. Staying at the restaurant for a few nights, the buffet menu especially, needs some added variety.

Excellent hotel with very good facilities. Access to the Horizon Club was especially helpful as the city is 10-15 mins away. Beautiful views and quiter than staying in the city.

GORGEOUS HOTEL ON THE SEA

I RECENTLY STAYED AT THE SHANGRI-LA HOTEL IN WENZHOU CHINA. THIS HOTEL WAS AMAZING. IT WAS CLEAN, GREAT SETTING, FOOD AWESOME . THE STAFF WAS INCREDIBLE. ON MY NEXT TRIP TO WENZHOU, I WILL STAY HERE AGAIN....

It was a very short stay at Shangri-la but overall nothing is better at that area. Services, distance, atmosphere. So it was nice

Closest good hotel to the airport.

Nice hotel. It will take 30 minutes or so to get there from the airport. Not much else is any closer. The hotel is nice. Not much around it, but the river walk is cool.

Only there for one night unfortunately. Would have liked to have styed linger to fully appreciate the hotel. Perfect.

Excellent stay

I stayed there for two nights. All staffs were very pleasant and helpful. They even remember my name from day 1. The hotel was well maintained, clean and very comfortable.

Clean, beautifull, comfortable, food too expensive

Really beautifull, clean, new and comfortable hotel. The food is excellent but really expensive, must be smong the most expensive places to eat in Wenzhou. Located in the outskirts of Wenzhou, not walking distance to anywhere.

Wonderful stay

From the airport transfer through to the late checkout, my stay in this hotel was brilliant. It is a true 5* in every sense. The service was impeccable and i was taken to my room for check in. I particularly enjoyed the Horizon lounge with it's complimentary food and drinks. I would definitely stay here again.

As always a great hotel but!

The neighbourhood is under construction and if they try to give you a "city" view dont do it, insist on a river view as constructin goes on all night and you will never sleep if your on the city side. this is my forth stay at this hotel over the past two years and the construction around it never ends. outside of that the rest of the stay was fine, it's a Shangri-La so the service is alwas good, it's clean and the resturant is very good, lots of options.

Great Business Hotel

A superb warm and friendly hotel located well away from the busy and traffic logged Wenzhou downtown area close to the exhibition centre. The whole atmosphere and efficiency makes it for me, as close to a home from home during my business travel around China. Everyone genuinely seems happy to see you and always have a hello for you.

Best hotel in the area

Very comfortable overall stay with good gym facilities, food & wine selection. My neighbours were noisy & woke me up at 3am. I was moved to a quieter room straight away & continued my stay there. Very friendly/helpful staff.

Excellent as always

Great great service. English spoken by all and the food at breakfast was very good as always. I stay at this Shangri-La every time i come to Wenzhou and have never been let down.

Superb Hotel

Can not fault this hotel. I had IT issues and they loan me an IPad for the evening. Excellent service.

An amazing business hotel

A quite amazing luxury hotel right in the middle of the key industrial area. Staff are among the most hospitable and well trained I have ever seen. A great place to stay an even better place to hold business meetings.

Online photos are better than the reality

The view from my river view room was excellent but the carpet was dirty and the room was in need of a renovation. Housekeeping restocked the minibar but didn't make up my room. When I complained about this they said it was because I had the do not disturb light on [which was obviously not true if it was they wouldn't have come in to restock the minibar] The online photos are an example of what the hotel looked like when it was just opened. The club level room I was in looks shabby now and needs a renovation.

Excellent Hotel

International hotel with friendly staff & huge luxurious rooms. Excellent buffet restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner offering multi choice dishes from different cuisines to suit everyone. Nice pool, hot tubs and gym to relax. Large comfortable lounge with live music to relax after dinner.

Just can say its a wonderful hotel !!!

not impressed maybe expecting to much.

This Hotel is meant to be world class, in my opinion it is lacking real quality. Staff a enterance, foyer, dining area, reception all excellent. My issue is with the bedroom, all sounds from next door people speaking can clearly be heard it is a very noisy Hotel. Location is in the middle of a constuction zone eventually all will be built around then the outside will look very nice/

Very nice hotel, great breakfast the staff was very nice. I left my laptop charger in my room and they contacted me via cell phone and sent it by express mail to my next hotel in Shanghai. Superb service and rooms.

Great hotel to stay in wenZhou

Shangri-La Hotel Wenzhou is a great hotel. I had delay by the flight, so I got to the hotel really late. When I got to the front desk, the staff had everything ready for me. The room is big and the bathroom is very big. The hotel also has a very nice fitness center with very helpful staffs. However, the hotel is located in a developing area. There are not many stores around. You will need a taxi to go around, and the taxi fare is cheap. I will choice to stay at Shangri-La WenZhou again.

A true pearl in the Orient

TThe only place to stay at Whenzou Beautiful is the first word to mind. This hotel is everything and has everything you could want . The room is very comfortable and spaceous with great views of the river.The resteraunts supberb tho sometimes a little difficult to comminicate (which of course all adds to the experience) The facilities gym pool changeroom etc are 1st class-----will I be back next year----absolutely

New Hotel in Wenzhou

Beautiful new hotel, great service very attentive staff-typical of Shangri-la properties. A bit out of the way to the shopping, business areas of Wenzhou. Watch the taxi drivers to the airport-I made sure that he fliped down the flag, but come to find out he had disconnected the meter. Was too much in a rush to fight with him at the airport. Just beware...fare was double what it should have been (not all that much $6 or so, but it is the principle)

Det er IKKE iorden når man forventer at helt almindelige regler, som de selv skilter og praler med, for herefter at måtte sande at rygning sker overalt inklusiv i lobby samt lounge området til stor gene for resten - ved henvendelse til personalet skete fortsat intet. Kan ikke anbefales med med mindre man sætter pris på rygning.

房間整齊，在不吸煙樓層真的沒有煙味，景觀很漂亮和開揚。Wifi很好，不會斷線。酒店職員態度友善，自助早餐和晚餐都不錯。

I had a dinner at hotel restaurant 1 floor I invited a friend and She said the food we had was better than other days We stayed at river view At day time it was nothing to look outside But at night wow there was an amazing lights show with whole mountain across the river Haha Location is close to air port

Sempre al Top!

Sono 10 anni che in occasione dei miei viaggi di lavoro a Wenzhou soggiorno in questo hotel, come al solito non tradisce mai le aspettative, camere enormi, colazione ottima e con enorme scelta x tutti i gusti, il ristorante è anch’esso ottimo. Inoltre l’hotel dispone di una bella palestra, una piscina ed un centro benessere il tutto pulitissimo, efficiente e ultramoderno. Lo consiglio vivamente

可能是因为春节期间，酒店感觉非常繁忙，服务员送个东西都很慢很慢，都要等上半个多小时，前台服务员也没有什么热情！整体感觉很一般！

No good, smoky air all around.

位子在江边，可是没有周边设施。找吃的就得开出去。酒店烟味很重很重，超级差，虽然房间拿来了空气净化器，可是还是去除不了那股子臭味。游泳池还可以，Spa的水很烫，桑拿房有人烘衣服。。。香格里拉这种设施管理水平 差评。
