Beautiful hotel, great service

It is a great hotel and the service people are very nice and helpful. We had to cancel some days that we had booked already due to the family situation change, the front desk girl Celine helped us to process that and we are very grateful.

Beautiful river and view, delicious food.

look good out side but in the room not clean smell bad. I was disappointed it only worth 3to 3.5 stars .

There is only one functional power outlet in the room. And there is no power outlets next to the bed night stands, which is inconvenient for charging phone.

Fantastic is the only word for it.

Close to amenities such as 10 mins walking distance to the high speed rail, 50 meters away from a brand new mall, behind the mall is a street lined with local restaurants.

We had a room with beautiful view of Hehai when the staff knew we came to China to celebrate my husband's birthday. Staff had been very helpful with info on restaurants and places of interest, directions, etc. Housekeeper was responsive to our request to change bedsheet and pillow cases and she worked extremely well and fast. Tim sum and other dishes in Shang Palace were yummy and commendable👍 Overall experience was excellent and will recommend to friends/families when they visit Tianjin!

Excellent hotel

This hotel was one of the best hotel we have stayed in. The people working there were courteous. I asked for a taxi and pointed out my destination address and the front lobbyist got on the phone and gave me the paper of the taxi's license plate and assured me the driver would take to the right destination. It was a breeze for non Mandarin speakers! Hotel room was nice and clean. There are two restaurants downstairs; but I did not get a chance to try them.

Nice hotel with good room view. Located next to a very beautiful river. Everything is perfect except the service quality of the cafe which requires improvement. Overall a good stay.

This is the hotel we like the best during the two week vacation in different cities of China. Excellent location with beautiful river view. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious with many options. It would be nice if they could provide guests with the map of Tianjin.

Love it, truly lived up to its name

Hotel is right next to the mall and you may get forgotten items easily and also there were a few restaurants which wasn't that bad.

Best hotel in town

The hotel is really modern. It has the best view ever! My room is really clean. The morning breakfirst is supper. It combines the local Tianjin delight and western style food. The hotel provide everything from tooth brush to shaver and cream. Love it.

Excellent choice of hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The Horizon package was very good value at 466RMB - high tea, free flow happy hour (including cocktails and wine) and breakfast,all for 2 people! Nice walks along the river.

Excellent comfort and staff. Breakfast buffet had a great selection and most importantly the coffee was super.

Best of the hotel in China

OMG! You must stay this hotel. The Breakfast buffet is the best of the best. There are almost more than 100 kinds of food for you to select. If you book it, please book with the breakfast included. Also, the service is the best of the best. They checked the terminal, air plane... taxi price for you.

Amazing stay

Very new comfortable rooms. Love the horiZon club lounge. Just didnt like the rule on swim caps for swimming... They should also enforce on the no smoking rule in the changing rooms for the pool...

Weekend stay in middle of business trip, beautiful hotel with great facilities re healthclub, lounge, access to river front for relaxing sightseeing.

Excellent stay. Cannot rate this hotel highly enough. My only regret was not getting to spend more time in my room due to business commitments

Excellent Choice for Westerners

Impressive marble floored and beautifully decorated lobby. Staff is helpful and courteous to Westerners. Hotel is impeccably clean and well-maintained. Very comfortable bed, elegant bathroom, and quiet too.

Fantastic hotel with really spacious and comfortable rooms. Not much in the surrounding neighbourhood but very close to center of the city. Great room service with table service in the room. Nice views across the river too. A very strong "like"

Incredible hotel. One of the nicest I've ever stayed in. Just don't look out the window to see the pollution of the city.

Newly built facilities, clean comfortable rooms Breakfast buffet may need some upgrades in variety of international foods (currently mainly Chinese cuisine) Location slightly out of downtown area (but not far) Overall will be a safe choice for business and family trip

This Shangri-La Hotel, is as good as Shangri-La Hotels always are, super all the way. Great F&B

Relaxing Weekend

Though we did not take advantage of all the hotel amenities, we had the most relaxing, comfortable overnight at the Shangri-La. The room was spotlessly clean, well decorated, and so comfortable that we didn't want to leave it to explore the city. Though thanks to the helpful staff, we had a wonderful time exploring the city on foot and by taxi. We would most certainly stay again

A great new hotel in Tianjin.

It was mu first time travelling to Tianjin. The hotel is very new with great location amd wonderful river view. Only 10 mins away from the high speed train. Everything in the hotel is great. I will definetely come again next time.

Wonderful experience

I stayed at Horizon club suite. Despite the fabulous brand new hotel, club attendants provided exceptionally good, superb services and personalised care. My stay was simply amazing.

Swimmingpool not open yet - noisy restaurant - 5 min to Subway - will come back

Excellent service from the concierge team. Very friendly and helpful. I stayed in other 5 stars hotel during my trip this time but the concierge team here is the best!

It was old, nice and comfortable hotel in Tianjin city center.

Tolles Hotel mit schön ausgestatteten Zimmern. Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet das allerdings geschmacklich eher besserer Durchschnitt ist. Aktuell leider keine Bar in der man den Tagesabschluss genießen könnte. Roomservice preislich ok aber auch dort waren die Speisen geschmacklich kein Hilite. Sehr freundlicher Service aber im Restaurant scheinen eher mehr Servicekräfte im Einsatz als erforderlich die dafür eher wenig aktiv sind. Knappe 5 Sterne mit Verbesserungspotentialen.
