Very well maintained, friendly staff and good location for restaurants and malls and museum.

Terrible Service

Hotel is getting a bit old, aircon needs to be set to 16 deg to cool a little. Good location though.

Negative: though not the hotel’s fault but something to keep in mind. Some of the hotel guests can be a bit rude and self centered. I was next inline for check in but a hotel guest just walk right up to the counter from the side as I was about to take my turn. I also noticed some hotel guests can be very loud. I have stayed at this hotel twice to date and it happened twice. Positive: the manager at the hotel did a nice job of handling my situation when I was checking in. She was professional and friendly and even offered for her staff to help me with my bags. The hotel is across the ST from a nice mall, in a good location, clean and the guest rooms are spacious. I had a chance to meet the housekeeper. His name is Mr. Zhai, Peng, a young fellow and friendly. He did a nice job on the housekeeping.

Staff at this 5 star hotel is terrible. They don't know any language except Chinese. It is unbelievable that 5 star hotel doesn't have English speaking staff. Not at the reception, not at breakfast restaurant not anywhere. At checkout I wanted to pay for my laundry service where after 20 minutes of "just a moment sir", after each of my question "what are you doing", I discovered that they didn't understand what I want but they was trying to locate my shirts which was delivered to my room a day before!!?? While I was waiting on the reception, their air-condition was broken and everyone at hotel lobby was sweating since huge humidity. They do not understand a simple word which is not in Chinese. Not to mention room "smoking smell" and burn marks on carpet on a "non smoking" floor, where they offer to me that staff come and open a window and allow fresh air to "clean" the smell. Not a 5 star service, and not for sure 5 star hotel. I stayed many times at other Shangri-La hotels and this Suzhou one is not even close to Shangri-La quality and service. Should avoid for your stay at Shangri-La Suzhou!

Good location and good hotel

Good hotel and location is very good. The hotel is near CBD and closed a fashion shopping mall. The closed restaurant is very well and choice is vast.

This is my third time staying at this hotel and I will stay here again when I come to Suzhou next time.

Short visit to Souzou from Shanghai while there. Very easy by fast train & worth a visit. Hotel excellent all round.

A great place to stay

A wonderful experience from the beginning. They always make your stay worthwhile

The only complaint I have is that we were "led" to use a fixed rate "taxi" that parked outside the hotel lobby, which charged us more than otherwise (say a regular taxi or a taxi via an APP). I don't think such act should be linked to such a brand name hotel!

Definitely suggest this location.

First stay here.. staff was fantastic... room large and clean. Located in a good area in a city that never stops growing.

suzhou experience

Our room was clean and ready for us. Great view and location was ok but far from the main tourist sites. staff professional and friendly also spoke excellent English. Breakfast buffet was over the top.

It was a good hotel with excellent spacious room. The hotel condition is good; does not look very dated. The only down side is that the neighbourhood does not have any good shops or restaurants

It is good overall. Front desk is very courteous. They are helpful if you need directions. I will stay here again

Nice hotel, friendly staff, clean

I am disappointed to the overall experience at the Shangri-la Suzhou. Lack of staffing in restaurant and the service was poor.

Sorry, please don't let the kids run in the lobby. It is very dangerous and noice.

Isolated ageing hotel.

The hotel is not close to any of the major sights resulting in it being used by tour groups. The rooms show an age that might attract lovers of the 1970s hotel interiors. The restaurant should be avoided until 8.30 unless you enjoy peak hour in Tokyo! The saving grace were the staff: polite, efficient, helpful and with good English. Not a hotel I will stay at again.

Awesome Hotel

Our stay was comfortable with very clean rooms and excellent service from the bell boy to room service. Highly recommend this hotel. Close walking distance to the Emerald City Mall and many restaurants. Was my 2nd visit to Suzhou and 2nd visit to the hotel. I would not stay anywhere else.

The Shangri-La is the tallest building in the area. A great view is had from every room.

Excellent Taxi Services

In front of the hotel, they always had couples of nice clean Nissan taxi waiting there. (a little higher price though, but still nice and convenient). You dont have to spend any time to get a external taxi. Great location: close enough to where i want to see, including the gardens, Pagoda and Canals. Will live in there again.

朝食はおいしい

写真に洗浄機付きトイレが映っていたので、近隣より少し高かったけど予約しました。実際の部屋には設置されていませんでした。シャングリラホテルなら標準と思っていましたが、この点だけは残念でした。

房内老旧的香格里拉

房内虽大，但设施非常老旧。竟然还有24吋的电视，遥控器简直可以当作古董了。酒店位置地图上看来是在龙湖天街不远，实际上走路还是要个10分钟左右，在寒冷的12月，根本不想出门走过去。住的是高楼层，景观不错。

属于老牌的高端酒店，交通便利，服务周到，位于新区cbd，对面就是龙湖，购物吃饭极度便利！

立地、部屋ともによし

蘇州新区日本料理屋が集中する商業街が徒歩圏と非常に便利な立地。部屋も申し分ない。

廊下でタバコの匂いがした。かなりがっかりした。someone smoked in his room or somewhere in the hotel. So disappointed.

チェックインの際に、朝食の事で予約内容と異なることがありました為、マネージャーらしい方に相談してたら、即解決して頂きました、大満足でした！

レイトチェックアウトのプランが子連れにとってとてもありがたかったです。２日目はプールで子供を遊ばせてゆっくり帰ることができました。

Too far from the old city.

Hotel style is a bit outdated. The outside traffic is heavy and roads are under construction. It is difficult to cross the roads to the other malls.

金鶏湖が近くにあって、景色が素晴らしく、空気も美味しくいやされました！

ホテルがとても新しく、家具、内装ともピカピカで、泊まっていって贅沢な気分にさせられる。中華料理も美味しかった。

フロントのスタッフ、ロビーに待機しているロビー・スタッフの笑顔が素晴らしい。特にロビー・スタッフは私の名前を覚えていて、朝や夜の挨拶時に名前を確りと呼んでくれる。チェック・アウトの時も「既に予約時に支払いが済み、追加支払いはありません。私達が教わる事が多く、次回も是非、私達のホテルに宿泊をお願いします。素敵なお客様に滞在して頂いて、私達は幸せでした」という素晴らしい挨拶と笑顔を頂戴しました。

よく蘇州に行きますが、今回初めて使ってみました。接客に好感が持てます。また使ってみようと思います。

蘇州香格里拉飯店旅遊體驗

離地鐵站步行有點遠，目前飯店路口地鐵在施工進出不方便堵車很嚴重。酒店很有歷史了房間設施有點舊，不過仍有5星級飯店的規格，早餐樣式很多但是會令你覺得沒啥好吃的因為多半是中式的我很不喜歡，我看很多老外逛來逛去只拿麵包，住了3晚每天都有商業會議培訓什麼的，覺得很亂很複雜，如果我是商務出差就不會選這家，旅遊就無所謂了，香格里拉集團應該在金雞湖開一家新店取代這家舊店，像杭州不就是新舊兩店並存，畢竟老店已經跟不上地區的發展，金雞湖有很多新的國際連鎖飯店。

高層階のキレイなホテル

同じビルにコンビニ有、向かいにショッピングセンター有、ウォシュレット無、5分位歩いたところに遅くまでやってる日本人商店街ありました。MRT駅までは10分程歩きます。

一般般 没啥亮点

加钱上了行政套房，但是房型很小，房间里的设施很一般，至少连蓝牙播放器都没有，只提供了一个aux接口，但本人的iPhone用不了，酒廊在最高层，风景很好，因为是周末提供的是一般的自助餐，没什么亮点

春節休み利用

私は春節に利用しました。楽しみにしていた一階にある和食屋さん「西村」が春節のためお休み！だったのでがっかり。中華系のバイキングは大人気でいっぱいでした。宿泊客が大勢いたわりには、大変静か。リラックスして過ごせました。

Good hotel, though little pricey

Above average hotel in Suzhou. Everything works well, rooms are clean and not that dated. Surroundings have many Japanese restaurants and western fast-food joints nearby.

주말까지 숙박 했는데, 행사가 많아서 그런지 좀 시끄럽다는 느낌이 있었음.

ホテルの近くに新しい大きなショッピングモールがあり環境がとても良い

ホテルのそばに新しく開業した大きなショッピングモールがあり、ニトリなども入っている。ホテルの周りは新しく開発された商業地域となっている。しかし、ホテル内のショップはまだ工事中で多くは営業を開始していない。ホテルと併設のコンビニもありとても便利です。周りの環境整備が進めばさらに良くなると思います。ホテルとしての機能は全く問題なく、快適でした。

房間乾淨，健身房超大器材齊全，早餐好吃,生活機能很好，飯店服務員很有禮貌，我住37樓風景很好，吹風機電源連在書桌有一點不方便，房內有膠囊咖啡機。

非常后悔的一次选择

看了他家的点评，有儿童探险乐园，打过电话确认过也有才预定的。谁知道过了说已经没有了~非常失望~关键是带着两个孩子奔着这个去的； 酒店的空调太足了，特别闷，孩子在这种情况下很闹腾； 酒店清洁度一般，入住的房间像是好久没人住过了，明显有一层灰尘在家具上面，老二的脸上起了好几个红点，不知道是螨虫还是其他的飞虫咬的； 特别后悔这次的出游

HORIZONTAL DELUXに宿泊しました。部屋は広くて眺めもよく最高でした。部屋のベッドやローブなども快適でした。近くに夕食を食べるところもありました。携帯電話を町のレストランに忘れたのですが、夜遅くに気が付いたので、まずお店に電話して問い合わせようと思いました。しかし、中国語が離せないので、サービスセンターに電話してお願いすると、マネージャーにが部屋に来て依頼を受けてくれました。その後、ホテルの別の従業員がお店まで一緒についてきてくれました。

飯店不算在很市中心但坐車去中心區約15分TAXI也算方便, 飯店很高級員工服務態度良好, 房間也很大很好很標準的5星飯店不讓人失望.
