Stayed here for 5 days , I would give this stay a 8/10 we upgraded to the swim out pool and it was cool just hated the fact they didn’t clean the swim out pools daily the food options for the breakfast buffet was the same every morning and you had to book reservations for the restaurants a day before the employees were very helpful taxis on the property were high they charged us $40 to go downtown Ubers were a my cheaper option I would recommend this property to others

The Good: Property was pretty. They have a fantastic beach and pools. Even at a resort this big we easily found seating at both. And for our first stay at a family resort were impressed by all they have available for young families. The Bad: There was construction and maintenance in main thoroughfare. Our swim out suite had multiple items in disrepair and a see-through window from the bedroom into the shower you would expect in a couples only resort. Food was average. Low point was the staff except for the Mediterranean restaurant who were wonderful. Majority of staff were not very helpful, short with their answers and not engaging unless it was their job to feed you into the “not a time share”presentation. Be aware, that is the goal of the concierge. Around the main lobby stairs, beach, and walkways we were constantly approached by people selling excursions like a car lot sales force on commission. This was our first trip staying somewhere other than Excellence properties so we are a little spoiled by their service I’ll admit, but the staff culture overall is disengaged here. We will not be back. Hope this didn’t come off as a rant in any way and is helpful to you.

Property is beautiful but a littlenrun down. Check in took forever withbonly one person working the desk. Constantly being bothered by staff to upgrade along with indivoduals on the beach and resort trying to sell packages. Bars are crowded and difficult to get service. Beach is always full with people hoarding chairs. Music playing at the bar right outside the rooms every night.

Wonderful resort. Definitely would stay there again.

Dirty underwear in my bed run down; seaweed beach

The bed was never changed and a dirty pair of underwear was in the bed. I told the desk about this and they never sent the cleaners to change the bedding. Every restauant we wanted to go to was filled uo. You have to make dinner reservations days in advance and I was not informed of this before our arrival. The hotel is old and a little dirty. The breakfast buffet was not good. Its a long walk to the beach and the beach was full of seaweed. I have heard this is not a good beach area. I would never stay here again.

The food staff could have been more helpful. Asking for shredded cheese for your omelet shouldn’t be an issue. The outside of the buildings needed some attention where there had been water damage.

Nice property. Preferred area was closed for 3 of the days we stayed and we were not notified.

Pools were very nice, water was s bit too cold. Pool bar staff was excellent, Franklin, Luis, Alberto, Hector. Ruth in the buffet area was very nice and helpful. They need to have food areas and pools opened later than 6:00pm. There is also sewage smells in the rooms. Rooms need to be updated. Overall it was a nice time.

Well to start with I though that a lot of staff went not the kindest to English speaking people .. they choose/wIted on Spanish speaking customers b4 us … our room faced new construction we were told that’s not going to be noisy while we stayed but not true after holiday construction was happening and it was noisy … one day it took housekkipoing like 50 plus minutes to get us new towels bcz our room wasn’t serviced that day ? 😞there were few nice people like Natalie at the coffee bar .. I did like big rooms at the resort

Perfect swimming conditions in the ocean/ sea- no waves. Good quality and variety of food. Small size of a resort- everything is close by and convenient. Would prefer to have no window to the room in the bathroom: had to tape a sheet over it.

Do not leave your wallet around in your room. The staff will skim your credit card information then you’ll start to see random charges. Really bad experience with that. Otherwise, this property was a very nice all inclusive - though the food is not great, it’s edible.

Excellent place for a family vacation.

The entertainment staff were wonderful! Franklin Mariano and Stephaney were great! They treated us very well. The restaurants were difficult to make reservations and it seemed when we were in the restaurants that were more tables open than occupied. The food was very good. It would be nice if the pools and pool bars would stay open later. Overall it was a great place to stay and we would go back!

Great property for the family with small children

Paid for a swim up room and could not use it because of the mosquitos, there was still water that was not cleaned out. It was so bad they were in our room as well. Felt like the staff always looked angry only until the money came out!!! I have been 3 times to DR and this place was the worst of the 5 star resorts I have stayed at.

I stayed for a couple of days in January 2025. Staff is wonderful. So nice and welcoming. Property is beautiful and safe. I loved how clean my room was and how clean the resort is. My only criticism is the food is not that great. 1 out of 2 restaurants I tried was not good and the 2nd one was just ok. The buffet was really mediocre. However, I still enjoyed my time and will go back.

Some of the staff were very unprofessional. I have a very bad attitude from one of the ladies. From the restaurant reservations also one of the managers from the main buffet.

The towels and the bathrobes were horrible:old, washed out and grey, not white(( the same thing with the bed linen(( the first day we arrived we had a problem with the toilet.. we had ants in our room also from the minuses: food was the same every day(( We liked the territory, clean and spacious) the game zone was good, kids played the ping pong

Very clean facility with friendly staff. My family enjoyed the nightly entertainment, the pools and beach and unlimited kids daiquiris. Our kids are teens so we had to make them leave the room while we showered because there is a see-through window from the shower to the bedroom space, but we worked around it. Would definitely recommend!

This property is average. Let me explain … the grounds are beautiful. The staff is meh - I can’t think of one person that I thought “wow, they’re awesome”. Our kids loved the slides. However, the rooms suck, absolutely suck. From the uncomfortable body pillows to the bed itself to the showers exposing yourself to your family while you shower (the shower is opened right up with no door / privacy to the rest of the room. Our AC worked sometimes and not at other times. The food was bland. Nothing great. Nothing superior. We booked last minute so we couldn’t get many reservations. Overall, I glad it was only 3 days. Proceed with caution.

My family and I went to spend Christmas and New Year's at Serenade, our experience was horrible. As a family, we were disappointed in the staff and service. Staff must not like their jobs, they were all extremely rude, no one smiles. We all felt out of place. The resort was very disorganized with restaurant reservations, literally I felt like I was begging for one. On New Year's Eve, my family and I were removed from the table that we were sitting at, because we did not have reservations, at the Buffet!! This was very embarrassing. Punta Cana is a BEAUTIFUL place, but the staff at Serenade ruin it all for my family and I. My family and I will not be back. I will not recommend this resort to family or friends.

I have two small children and we had a great time. There’s all sorts of entertainment for adults and kids. Everything is walkable! Beach has a side that’s pretty shallow which my kids loved.

Liked swim up room. Did not like: too crowded and chaotic dining place, always not enough of beach/pool loungers.

We loved our stay at this property. The whole staff was very courteous and professional. I have some particular names to mention: Jansel, Roni, Toni (desk) made it very easy every time I needed something. Andres and Moises at the Steak House were also a great help, the whole entertainment team and lastly but equally important was Antonia who made us feel like at home and kept our room neat, clean and organized. We’ll definitely recommend Serenade Punta Cana. Thanks to everyone!

The room is clean, the staff is kind and nice

The property is well designed and well maintained. The staff is friendly and nice. It's quiet at night and felt safe at all times. The dining options were plenty and lots of good choices. Drinking options were good when it came to cocktails, but only one beer option and no hard liquor options in all inclusive were a let down. I had paid extra for pool access which was closed down after the second day and we couldn't use it.

Serenade Punta Cana is clean. The employees were nice. We did enjoy our stay, but there were something’s we did not like. I read before about the food being hit or miss. And total agree. Their speciality restaurants food was not that great. Found the buffet to have the best food. The meat tends to be over cooked which can leave it a bit dry. Next they have sales people there and they try so hard to sell you their vacation package. It feels like a time share pitch. I am on vacation. I don’t want to spend half a day listening to their pitch. So if you’re not interested make sure you tell them no, or else they will continue to bother you. Most people come the DR for the beach, I was disappointed in their beach. Covered in seaweed and trash. If you want a lounge chair be sure to go early. And to get the better beach towels get them at 7 am , else you will be given a towel that looks like a cleaning rag. If you are traveling as a family their shower is a weird set up. It’s open and really no privacy. We were able to relax, but don’t see myself coming back to this resort.

This resort was amazing one of the troubles I did run into though , is that I thought I booked the adult side of the resort and had to pay double the amount to switch !!!

Our stay at Serenade was amazing! We went for my big 40 and the staff took great care of us. Entered my room with a cute birthday banner and cake! Mateo made sure we had our dinner reservations covered for almost every night. On my actual birthday they had even more surprises for me. Our room was always looked after every day, and if we were needing anything they got to it quickly. Our favorite service member was the barista Natalie!! She was always so happy and friendly. We loved getting to know her, and our lattes were always perfect. The nightly shows or entertainment was fun and I thought quite good. If I was to say what Serenade needed to do better on I would have to say maybe some touch ups of doors, and walls that were a bit banged up. If your staying here for the food you probably will be disappointed. The buffet was good not great, but service was always on top of it. Our favorite restaurant was the Mediterranean one. All of the others were just fine. Overall we loved our stay and would love to go back someday.

I recently stayed at Serenade, and unfortunately, it was one of the most unsatisfactory experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that basic standards were not being met. 1. Lack of Basic Necessities: Shockingly, the room was not stocked with essentials like towels or blankets. I had to repeatedly request these items, and they took long before they brought items to the room. 2. Bathroom Issues: There was a persistent leak from the toilet and the water in the shower didn't drain. Despite notifying staff, nothing was done to fix either. Additionally, the hair dryer in the bathroom barely worked. 3. No Room Service: One of the most frustrating aspects was the complete absence of room service. After a long day of travel, I was hoping for at least a minimal level of convenience, but there was none to speak of. One of the days I was sick in bed and couldn't get a meal. 4. Poor Food and Drink: The dining experience was equally disappointing. The food was subpar and the drinks were poor quality. For a hotel to serve such low-quality food is unacceptable, especially when it’s being promoted by the site. 5. Unresponsive Staff: To make matters worse, the staff seemed indifferent to guest concerns. Requests for assistance were either ignored or addressed with noticeable reluctance. Overall, my stay was uncomfortable and disappointing. This hotel fails to provide even the basics of hospitality, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Cleanliness, food options, activities, facilities and staff were great and beyond. The only thing that we disliked was the glass at the shower that is not suitable for family members staying together in same room. Otherwise, fabulous!

Everything was very good except the main restaurantes .

The staff were fantastic, very accommodating and helpful. Dining was great and the food was of a very high standard, just like eating at a restaurant, lots to choose from so never disappointed with the options. For a buffet which was very convenient if you wanted to have a small/light snack for dinner was amazing - lots of choices. Serenade is SUPER CLEAN - Always noticed how the staff were constantly cleaning public areas to ensure our safety from the rain and thunderstorms. The bar staff were friendly and couldn't do more than enough to make sure you enjoyed the choice of drinks that goes right from the coffee shop to the pool bar areas. A special thank you to Juan (director of property) and the assistant Wilson who made our stay very memorable. I look forward to coming back in the near future.

The property was great. Pretty big and plenty of options to stay within the property and spend your time. A good decent beach. I would have wished the food had some more choices. The restaurants you had to book but sometimes, it's difficult to get what you need and you have to plan ahead the day you checkin, plan your restaurant booking. Its all free but need upfront booking. Another problem, the bathroom had a glass, one could see the person taking a shiwer.I travelled with family so, I had to stand out when my 12 year old girl would take a shower. Other than that, it was a great experience.

The rooms are spacious.Bathrooms are big, toilet room has a door, Shower did not have a door so water was coming out From the shower to the sink area. Faucets had good water pressure and water getting warm fast. Property has property has several several pools, Lots of lawn chairs. The buildings are connected so if it rain you can walk To the lobby without getting wet. Lobby also big and spacious. Has a huge bar and a coffee place. I wish they had a live music Or any music in the lobby. Also lack of music and activities on the beach.

The resort was very nice. Great dining options. Entertainment everyday whether in the pool or theater or night club. We had a spacious room with a swim up pool outside our room! Love the all inclusiveness with the drinks and food. The spa was very nice as well. There was a could areas where paint was chipped and the construction next door was loud but overall we really enjoyed our experience!

Overall, the resort is aesthetically good. The rooms are nice and the view is great (we had a premium room on the family side with an ocean view) The entertainment is great. Wilson and Stefanie went out of their way to ensure we had a great time. The rest of the staff were not overly friendly and were, at times, rude. It's staff like Wilson and Stefanie that make the stay memorable. The most disappointing thing about this resort is the food. It's not good and I am not a foodie! I'm the least pickiest food person on the planet and it made me sick. Good luck getting a reservation. All in all, nice resort with a great view and ocean, great entertainment (thank you Wilson and Stefanie), and the food and customer service from the rest of the staff leaves a lot to be desired.

I recently booked a stay at this resort but for medical reasons I was unable to travel. When Expedia called to explain it to the resort they did not care and refuse to refund or to change the dates. I then called the resort a couple of times since they wouldn’t answer or they would hang up on me. I explain the situation and a rude lady told me she could not help me at all. Don’t they understand that emergencies happen? I was extremely sick but they did not care. Now I lost so much money on this trip. I will never book with them again. The lady was so rude I wish I had taken her name down.
