Great location at great price
Very nice stay, amazing location and really friendly staff. Its a hostel so it might get a bit loud, but nothing too bad.
Despite booking a private apartment, and despite being in the 5th floor, the noise from the people talking outside and the loud music made my stay hardly enjoyable
The staff was nice, and it seems they try their best, but management needs to step up. Not demanding luxury because you get what you paid for. For the price, accommodation should be modest. They just need to take better care of things. For instance, the room had an extremely dirty and old carpet. Some walls dirty and the floor could be also improved
I liked the location...They have to lubricate the door hinges, especially those in the shared bathrooms. They make too much noise when they open at night or during rest hours. In general the building needs maintenance.
First, it's a nice place for recreation with an attractive design for good pictures. On the other hand, it is not recommended at all to stay. Rooms that are cleaned every three days unless you request it at the front desk, the bathroom always seems dirty, if you plan to stay, bring your own towel and personal care products. Finally, if you have sleeping issues due to loud noise or light, go to a better place.
not good,not recommend.
Everyone that works there is super nice. I had stayed in another location in part 93 and didn’t find it quite as warm and enticing. Everyone is just amazing and so kind and nice every time I go to Bogota I stay there.
Convenient
Great food and location to walk to Zona T, Zona Rosa or Andino Mall. Staff were very friendly and helpfull in any way they can to guide.
BOG - DC
Only one night stay due delay flight but spent the entire day. Nice hotel very centric and easy to find.
noise could be heard at very late hours.
Really close to Zona T (cool restaurants and bars). Property is really dark on the way to the rooms and the restrooma always gave the impression that were dirty.
You get what you pay for
not for me, is more like a Hostel, did not had enough information about it the lobby was super noise( loud music) not a pleasant stay
Old building with a bad order
Double charged, mix up with room type, no breakfas
The hotel double charged me. I paid through Hotels.com and when I showed up, the room type was a difference from what Hotels.com said, I complained and they gave me another room which is supposed to be right room type I booked for. They then charged me full price for it. They also said that they will take $8 off per day as they could not provide breakfast. None of that happened. I got double charged, higher charged and no breakfast. The hotel has no contact email address for you to dispute anything. What a mess!
Hotel is close to everything, the work.area is excelent, only thing , they promise a free breakfast include it never happen, how ever you can use the kitchen .
Cool bello me encanta muchas gracias
I don't even know where to start, we are so happy we booked a room in this gem, Selina. It was clean, gorgeous decor, lots of unique places to relax. The staff was so friendly and helpful as we know very little Spanish. The food was great, the location is close to Zona G (street food district). We will stay in any Selina available in Colombia for the rest of our trip, so excited to see what Selina Cartagena will hold. Love: Sheree/Marc
Bad internet, Shower is so hot or so cold, attentions not cordiality they thinking is smart but it’s not, etc etc.., I don’t wanna talks about it
Water so cold or so hot. Shower is wrong,.. room WiFi so bad connection,.
Room had no heater, weather was at 48F with no heater. I asked the manager, he said that the temperature was fine fine for him so I didn’t need a heater. I have have an email with him saying that in Spanish
Great location and super friendly as well as helpful staff.
Great staff. 50 characters etc blah rhubarb rhubarb rhubarb
The personnel was amazing, respectful, friendly and caring. If I ever need to go back to Bogota, this will be my first option to stay. The restaurant is good too.
Good hotel!
The room was hippie and kind of had an airbnb feels, it was really spacious. Toilet bowl was not draining well and the shower drain too (but i think this is a common problem with 3rd world countries). Overall it was really good. Location was also convenient. There is traffic all over Bogota like really bad traffic, it takes like 30mins to get to the main square from this hotel.
Wonderful location just steps away from the Transmilenio trunk line. Lively neighborhood during the weekdays only, weekends are quieter. Only having to share the bathroom with up to only 4 people in a 4 bed dorm is great, vs a larger dorm room. Privacy curtains. Only complaint is construction noise in the building at 9am so couldn't sleep until later
Hipster Ritz Carlton!
We had a three night stay at this property and absolutely loved it. One night in a private double room with shared bathroom and the other two in a deluxe room. There is no A/C in either one but we are both warm blooded and had no issue as Bogota was plenty cold for us. Our rooms weren't towards to street side so noise in the mornings may pose a problem for others. Beds were comfortable in both rooms and the deluxe room was incredible. The vibe at this property is awesome, the staff is excellent and tend to your every need. The co-working space was great for an office day during our stay. Highly recommended. @deviajelibre

Si vas a Selina puede ser que repitas
Buen hostel ubicado en la zona de Chapinero. Habitación con baño privado correcta. Cerca de la parada para coger el bus y a 15 minutos andando de la zona rosa.
Very pleasant
The staff is the best!!
Great location and service. Spacious and comfortable. If you Ask for extra blankets and pillows they will provide.
The staff is not friendly at all. Plus my basic avocado toast with fried eggs took 45 minutes to arrive. It’s ridiculous. Also if you like to be surrounded by many things to do, go to Central area. This is not a good place for it.
The hotel could have been great but there were so many issues. When I first checked in, the room hadn't been cleaned at all. The bed was unmade and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned. I went to the front desk and they moved me to a new room but this one didn't look fully clean either. The bedroom area looked clean but the bathroom area was not. The trash hadn't been emptied, the towels were laying around, the previous guests shampoo was there, the body wash was used, and the toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned. I dealt with it because it was after midnight but my bathroom was never fully cleaned while I was staying there. I used my own towel because it looked like I never got clean towels from the hotel. The restaurant/bar was usually great except for my last day. I got the standard breakfast but that day it took about an hour to get my food and it was cold. Every other day the food and service was great so I don't know what went wrong the last day? I was only ordering eggs and toast but it looked like everyone's order was late that day. I ended up a bit late to the airport but I still made my flight. Overall the hotel seemed like it would be great but the cleanliness and other issues keep me from giving a good review.
Friendly staff, they accommodated all of our needs. One negative is that I wish they had some type of heater at night as the temperature drops and it gets really cold at night.
BEST
BEST HOSTEL AND COMES WITH CINEMA
Great environment, clean and spacious. close to bus station.
This is a recently renovated hotel posing as a hostel or maybe vice versa. There are the usual hostel facilities: a nice common kitchen, laundry by the KG, a common library and a movie room. The restaurant serves as the main common area and has good food at a reasonable price. The staff are eager to please. I stayed in a standard double room, it was clean with a nice hot shower, however it was loft and a bit of a windowless dungeon. One thing I didn't like was the blaring music being played in the restaurant / main common area - loud, bad and annoying. I had some work to do and luckily there is an onsite office / business center. I paid COP 45,000 for a dedicated desk and set to work for the day. Shortly thereafter the attendant turned on loud, bad, annoying music... in the middle of a 50 desk office facility where everyone was working! Anyway, the hostel needs a quite place where people can chill and interact. That's the only thing I'd change. Location is good and Chapinero neighborhood is top - Check out Theatron - EPIC party place, where everyone who's anyone in Bogota goes to party.
Great for hotel, not a hostel
Really nice place, very new. I think a great choice as a hotel, but this is not a hostel, so if you are on a backpacking trip, maybe don't stay there. If you want a nice hotel downtown at a good price, definitely stay here.
Couples getaway.
Nicolas at the front desk was amazing. Food at the cafe was really good.
Rent one of those special rooms. Our room #506 had a video projector that i could run from my phone, a swing, and a record player. The hotel had a bar , work space, movie theater and a club downstairs. I travel a lot and this was the most interesting space i ever stayed.
The hostel is brand new and it's visible in the rooms and in the public facilities. Everything clean and nice, the deluxe room actually felt deluxe, and there were some really nice touches like the record player in the bedroom.
This is a great and beautiful hostel. I stayed in a single room with private bathroom and it has nothing to envy to a hotel. The shower was incredible and the common areas amazing. My plane was leaving at night, so they stored my luggage for the entire day and then allow me to have a shower prior to departing, at no cost. I highly recommend this place.
Cool spot with a nice mellow vibe. It wasnt very busy, but that was nice at times. Private rooms were perfect for a couple and the property felt more like a boutique hotel than a hostel, In fact, nothing really resembled a hostel except the fact the website says they have dorm rooms. Great location and relatively walkable. My only complaint is that they give no complimentary water in the room. The hotel should know guests cant brush there teeth with the sink water and need some alternative.
Great stay in a beautiful room
We loved our stay at this Selina location. The building and rooms are beautifully designed, and completely redone with all amenities you could want. The internet speed is good as well, and there are plenty of places to work from around the property. We could not have been happier here, we are looking forward to coming back!
no hot water, check in and check out is slow, and front desk tries to charge you for things you didn't purchase or request.

The property has better days although they are slowly renovating. If allergic to cigarettes, I would not recommend to stay here.
