Great find in centre of Brisbane!

Close to train station from airport. Great location for centre of Brisbane.Bedroom good with aircon & private bathroom. No TV or fridge but cheap bar as part of hotel/hostel attached with good brekky & lunches available. Excellent staff at reception esp Mike(English)who let me use his mobile since my eSIM didn’t allow calls. Bar/restaurant staff excellent too. Will defo recommend✅

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Th room was perfect for a one night stay. Th staff were so lovely and friendly, and they went above and beyond to accomodate Us for our stay. Breakfast was perfect and again th staff were so attentive and polite. Thankyou for having Us. Xo

Room was big and spacious with quirky decor. Staff friendly and helpful. Only thing would be replace 1 of the 2 hand soap dispenser in the bathroom with maybe a moisturiser

Good location in downtown

There was hair around the bathroom sink which was not properly cleaned. I was hoping that there would have been a bar fridge supplied but this was not the case.

The property is a bit tired but clean. A bit noisy. Staff were friendly and helpful.

It was just ok, bit run down.

The trip was pleasant. The front desk staff was very helpful. I requested for an Iron and Iron board and it was provided FOC.

Great hostel stay

It was such a good choice for a cheaper night in the city walking distance to Suncorp Stadium and lots of public transportation to the surrounding areas the only thing that could possibly be a negative was the elevator was broken for a couple of hours the night we stayed but the staircase was in good condition for people that can use them

A below average hostel experience.

A below avergae experience. For the price and reputation of Selina it was really disappointing. Selina Brisbane has no hostel atmosphere and feels like an incredibly corporate mangled co-workspace. It was even worse to hear and see first hand two of the area managers lambasting the hostel manager on what she wasn’t doing right. If they spent a little more time focusing on what the guests thought and not on aesthetic, the hostel would have a much warmer feel. If you’re giving ‘feedback’ (although it sounded more like bullying) it should not be within ear shot of guests. The kitchen needs proper ventilation. The private rooms however are well kept and comfortable. Tyra on the front desk was the most warm and welcoming member of staff, she really went the extra mile to help me and a couple of other guests. Thank you.

Perfect in every way

I found Selina to be a warm, welcoming experience. The cleanliness of the rooms, bathrooms, common areas, kitchen and toilets was spot on. Being so close to the CBD and rail and bus stations made getting too and from simple as a short walk. All staff are friendly and very helpful. Beds are comfortable and cosy and the privacy curtain is great for late night returns not disturbing those already asleep. I can only give Selina 5 stars for the best accommodation in Brisbane City.

Liked the entire experience, appreciated staffs' attentiveness to our unique set of circumstances. They catered to all our needs - not only were they met but exceeded! Thank you is simply not enough to express my deepest gratitude. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Ok hostel in a convenient location.

I like the property due to being central to my needs great friendly place need a designated smoking area on the premises for the ones who do smoke and the cupboards in with the beds in the dorm rooms needs something done about that other then them I enjoyed my stay there

Great location and it was very clean and nice for a hostel!

Room was nice and clean. Shampoo, body wash and conditioner were nice smelling. It's a mixed gender room and it'll be better to state that in the listing to avoid any shock/inconvenience. Other than that, there were multiple activities hosted by the property and receptionists were very friendly. Wonderful stay at selina brisbane.

I would happily stay at Selina's again. Our deluxe room was all we could want (apart from missing black tea bags!) and we loved the retro furnishings. Staff were helpful and friendly and the meals were great. Couldn't have had a better location for the train, food shopping and nearby pleasant walks.

Great Location & Value; could be better

Location: quick 5 min walk to one of the main metro stations. Plenty of places to eat nearby as well Rooms: it is nice to have a bathroom attached to the bedroom. The privacy curtains do a decent job at blocking out light. The outlets in the bunks are universal which was awesome! The downside was the room was quite warm and the air unit only blew hot air and the windows did not open. It is also very quiet but you can also hear every little noise in the room and hallways Bathroom: The sink in the bathroom dripped. Was not annoying, but wasting water. It was decently cleaned but has seen better days. Common space: lots of nooks to hang out. Note that the kitchen and work space are locked until 7 am and there is no food storage allowed in the rooms.

Clean n quiet room. Walking distance to all the restaurant n shop in cbd area. A 1 minute walk to roma street station such a convenient hotel

Backpackers with a difference

Expensive for what was essentially a backpackers - although it was river fire so maybe not as dear normally. room was cute and comfortable bathroom basic but shower was good. Bed was very comfy..

I liked the ambience, not keen on no tv in room and $300 refundable deposit on arriving. Bar restaurant was excellent and staff very nice and professional

The dormitory was pricey but the place is ok for a one night or 2 nights stay.

It was impossible to find-the address given is for the front of the Pub.The Selina's signage is too small There was no Television ( World Cup!) no tea,coffee,milk for the weary traveller.Staff were nice,place clean & I got a complimentary soft drink with dinner... suppose that was something ..bed comfortable....

Largely backpacker clientele, but friendly, clean and very conveniently located

Central to everything, ttain station right across the road.

Other guests too noisy you could hear doors slamming, constant stomping down the hallway most of the night. It’s advertised as a hotel we expected at least a tv and bar fridge. The wifi password didn’t work. It should be advertised as a backpackers. Absolutely no parking. Would never stay there again.

Really clean modern facilities. Beds were nice and the bunks were sturdy so it wouldnt shake. There were plugs, small cabinets, a light and curtains for the all the beds in the dorm. Friendly people and staff as well. Great place to stay

There was a couple of issues which were dealt with very professionaly and efficently by the manager on duty and staff at the time. This was very good .
