Horrible place to visit, filty rooms , racism eployees that will attack you aggressively. Roaches in the bathroom, moldy ceilings and horrible showere that pools water disgustingly . Horrible drinks, dirty beach , ultimate rip off of a resort. DO NOT RECOMMEND

The beach was nice however there was not enough chairs at the beach. The food was ok and the rooms are nice.

I loved the location. It was beautiful and food was delicious! Service was astonishing! I would have rated it 5 star but honestly I was disappointed to hear they had a restricted music option. When I travel I travel to experience a new culture, however they were only allowed to play “American music” i believe music is a huge part of culture and fun.

I took my parents for thanksgiving and wow, they loved it. It was their first resort experience and this place delivered. The staff amazing! They are kind, full of energy, and really there to show you a good time. The food options are good, the French restaurant was by far our favorite. There are so many activities through the day, singers, and bands. And we were amazed by their thanksgiving beach dinner and celebration! The rooms are spacious and cozy.

Great for a quick weekend getaway with the husband. Very relaxing. Restaurants for dinner were fantastic and tons of entertainment and excursions close-by. Only issue is from the moment we stepped out of the airport, bombarded with sales people and even at the hotel they try to sell you every chance they get. It got very frustrating on the first day.

The convince of all inclusive was wonderful. The only thing that i was not to happy with was people trying to sell me a vacation club membership I came to relax and unwind from stress not have to make decisions about memberships.

Staff was great our concierge Manny was very helpful, Sammy and the crew at the preferred pool bar were great and very attentive also Gabriel one of the beach servers. The food at the buffet was great maybe even better than some of the restuarants. The Beach was beautiful and kept clean of seaweed, the only negative was that our room was cleaned about every other day Great location and property for a relaxing vacation thank you to all the staff

We really enjoyed this property. It had many dining options, all different types of food and all good. We also really enjoyed the different pool options, some with activity and music and some very quiet. We did upgrade ( when we booked) to preferred club and 2 of these pool areas were preferred club only (both were quieter) Beyond this aspect, there wasn't any other time we were asked if we were preffered club or not. I thought the beaches were nice and offered lots of seating. One of the critiques I would have is pool side service. I was only asked by a server 3 times ( in 3 days) if I was good as far as getting a drink. Other resorts have ample service around the poolside bringing customers drinks. Also, on the one day it rained we went to the sports bar to watch football games and it smelt awful and was dingy.. definitely not a part of the resort that had seen any sort of update. We did not/could not stay due to the smell. They had night time entertainment that was entertaining. Beyond that we didn't partake in much night life. Overall we would go back and even check out the family side of the resort next door.

Very nice all inclusive. Food options could have been better, but was ok. Buffet wadms good. Pools were great. Very good customer service. Didn't care for excursions, very crowded tour buses. Beach access is nice, but there are a lot of people on the beach trying to sell stuff. One thing I didn't care for is that there are several things that you have to be a excellence member to utilize, which I didn't see on website.

The hotel and its amenities is beautiful!!! We had a room with a private pool. The preferred club staff made us feel welcomed and taken cared. A few things we noticed: - ALL the pools and jacuzzis are cold: not heated. - There is 4 restaurant in the hotel in addition to the main buffet. The wait times for restaurants were very long if you don’t go extremely early when they open and when seated, from the time your order is taken to desert, your looking at probably 1.5 hours long. It seems that restaurants were probably operating at 50 percent capacity, since there were many tables opened. Make the buffet and room service your best friend :) - the food is very good and tasteful. - Not a lot of activities. After 9 pm, there was nothing really to do other than the 45 min show. - drinks are good with premium brands. - staff were friendly and helpful.

The property is beautiful. We stayed in a room with the private pool which was awesome. The customer service is excellent! The food was pretty good. This is more so a relaxing resort, which we loved. We visisted this resort for my boyfriend bdays. The staff made my boyfriend feel special for his bday. Customer service is awesome! What I did not like is the cleanliness of the rooms. The rooms could use a good deep cleaning. Overall we enjoyed ourselves

I left something behind and i called 6 times and they hung up on me all 6 times. I will not say anything good about this hotel. I m a travel agent for my community and we had 12 people this trip, our next time will be in a new resort.

Exactly what we wanted in a vacation. Bar service was great, pools are clean and plenty of available space. Food was decent, nothing special.

Property was beautiful!!! Amazing breakfast, lunch & dinner. Bathroom spa area could’ve been cleaner. Establishment should find a way for they’re waiters to be tipped cash app/apple pay as tips. The club at night should get better djs. Our tv did not work the whole time. The beautiful scenery helped take away not having a tv. I plan on coming back, but will get preferred plan to get more amenities.

We just wanted to take a moment to shout out the AMAZING people we met during our time in the Dominican Republic. We cannot express how warm, genuine, kind and respectful these individuals are and how much their hard work, smiles and service has shaped our view of the Dominican people, culture and the time we spent there. It was paradise, the resort was beautiful but it was the people who made this so memorable and fantastic. We want to shout out our butler, Marcos, who from day one made us feel special. The beach staff, Fanny and Yolenny, who always treated us like family and kept the drinks coming! Gino, was the COOLEST security we've EVER met and no matter how hot it was, we knew we would find him at his post. We even got a smile out of him and his new sunglasses. To the wait staff, Marlon, Julio, Poche, Yesler, Juan, Regni, Mayloa and so many others..Muchas Gracias Para Su Amor y Respecto! These guys treated us like celebrities and their hustle and grind was like nothing we've ever seen! Lastly, I know that beach vendors and sales people are no one's favorite part of vacation but we have to shout out our homie Tito and Gavino, who made us laugh and showed us real Dominican life! We had the vacation of a life time, at Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana because of the people who run that place, the staff!

Not enough in Resort activities. It offered many Great tours, events and off site dining.

The staff at the facility were great. The property is very clean and well kept. The food was great. The pools were exceptional, very relaxing vacation. The only thing negative about the stay was there were issues with the elevators being serviced. Also, the Amstar staff that booked the excursions were a little pushy.

Beautiful hotel and pleasant atmosphere. Food tasted fresh. Live nightly entertainment. Overpriced spa options, lack of a full size mirror in the room, hotel wasnt able to accommodate a room with one bed w/o charging additional $1800, made experience slightly unpleasant. Too many individuals on the beach and in the property that harass patrons to make a sale or try to upgrade services that should be standard. Excursions were accessible and timely. The hotel needs to prioritize patron comfort and experience rather than seek out explicit profit at every angle.

The staff of super friendly and attentive especially Kelly and Yari from the entertainment group and then Rander and Bolon from the beach bar.

This was a fantastic experience from top to bottom. From the moment we stepped off our taxi, we were greeted with top notch service. They brought us into a side room with drinks and food for checkin. We were then showed the property by our butler, Orlando. He was incredible!! He truly brought out all the stops of great service. From making our suite filled with flowers on the bed, to a sign on the door he made the experience of our honeymoon even more special. The workers were incredibly friendly and start to recognize you to provide even better service. Juan Jose and Marlon were two waiters that also pulled out all the stops. These two made our dining experience special by always making sure we had what we wanted before we even asked. They were amazing!! The only down side of the property is the beach workers from the shops outside of the property. They were very pushy, would always come up to you on the beach and hasstle you. Even when sitting in the preferred area. I highly recommend to not interact and to purchase items through hotel or when on an excursion. Everything sold on shops can be purchased elsewhere without having to deal with these people.

There was nothing unique or extraordinary about this property. For all inclusive this was just average. Did not have any wow factor whatsoever. Service was hit and miss. French restaurant took two and a half hours to get our food.

EXCELLENT the word itself says it all. We loved the food, the staff very friendly and welcoming. Everybody knew a good amount of english which was important for my husband who is american. Room was clean, We will come back soon!

Food was ok. The room was beautiful. The property is beautiful but the star is the service.

The property was great. But, we couldn't get champagne to our room as part of the all inclusive which took away from the vacation. Also, the massage parlor was great but if you use a coupon its a completely different experience than if you pay the full amount. Meaning staff will walk you through the process if you pay the full amount. If you don't and use a coupon they will drop you off and let you figure everything out by yourself. Finally, the house keeping was great but we did have a bad experience with a house keeper coming ruffly at 830 when we would usually be at one of there shows. We had the please do not enter privacy sign on our door. Upon entering our room after that she had immediately shut the blinds and closed the door behind her. Every staff member that cleaned the rooms in the morning time never shut the door behind them while cleaning. I'm glad we caught that particular person right as she entered the room because as soon as we walked in she left almost immediately which was cause for concern. So after that we chose to not have are room cleaned anymore for the remaining portion of the stay. Also, we had a small spec of blood on our sheets that was hidden by a green cover that went across the bed. Other than that it was a decent experience.

The service at this resort was great.

We loved our stay here at Secrets! The hospitality was above and beyond and the cleanliness of the resort was immaculate. There is a lot of walking since this resort is massive, but the views made it worth. We do wish there were more food options at the buffet, there is a choice of dining at their specialty restaurants.

The resort was beautiful and always very clean. Had a lot of fun activities to do and the staff was the best. Always very helpful and accommodating. They have several restaurant choices and all were amazing!!!

The property is pretty and well kept. Its broken down by the preferred and non preferred sides. Preferred is if you have bought into their time share or you boom a room with one of the swim up pools (there may be others im not sure). If you are in the non preferred side, I had the king bed suite with the pool, you have only 2 pools to choose from in the Secrets side. One of which is the quiet no music pool, very nice but the water there is steaming. I barely saw anyone there. The other pool is nice but it did feel very confining. The wait staff at the pool were amazing, so nice in crazy heat getting everyone drinks. In the restaurants as hispanics we were definitely felt that preference was given to white folks as we waited longer having been first to order or given our order to other folks (I know because it was specific stuff like club soda with lime). The nightclub was cool, we wished theyd played more actual Dominican nusic though. They give you a coupon for $200 that in order to use you had to sit through the time share shpeal. They're very intense, Id skip that honestly. You meet like 6 to 8 different people and they try hard to get you to sign on. If I could do it again Id say it wasnt worth it to use the coupons because they got more and more intense until the last dude was straight up rude and condescending.
